Detailed Description
For the purposes of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application more clear, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present application, but not all embodiments. The components of the embodiments of the present application, which are generally described and illustrated in the figures herein, may be arranged and designed in a wide variety of different configurations. Thus, the following detailed description of the embodiments of the present application, as provided in the accompanying drawings, is not intended to limit the scope of the application, as claimed, but is merely representative of selected embodiments of the application. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the present application without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the present application.
Currently, many games have been developed in multiple versions, for example, some games have been developed in mobile (e.g., cell phone) versions and PC (i.e., computer) versions. So that the player can play the same game at different terminals, for example, the player can play the game at the mobile terminal and the game at the PC terminal.
Specifically, if the game screen to be displayed of the game is displayed in full screen in the first display of the first terminal, it indicates that the aspect ratio of the first display is the same as the aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed. Wherein the aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed refers to the ratio of the width (i.e., long side) to the height (i.e., short side) of the game screen to be displayed. The aspect ratio of the first display refers to the ratio of the width (i.e. the long side) to the height (i.e. the short side) of the first display. By way of example, fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of an aspect ratio of a game screen to be displayed according to an embodiment of the present application, where, as shown in fig. 1, the aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed is 16:9, then in this example, the aspect ratio of the first display is also 16:9. the first terminal may be a mobile terminal or a PC terminal. Mobile terminals such as mobile phone terminals, tablet computers, etc.; the PC end is, for example, a desktop computer.
At this time, when it is desired to display the game screen to be displayed on the first display on the second display of the second terminal, fig. 2 is an exemplary schematic diagram illustrating an aspect ratio of the second display according to the embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 2, the aspect ratio of the second display is a ratio of a width (i.e., a long side) to a height (i.e., a short side) of the second display. In this example, the aspect ratio of the second display is 4:3. it can be seen that the aspect ratio of the game picture to be displayed is larger than the aspect ratio of the second display, that is to say the aspect ratio of the second display is different from the aspect ratio of the game picture to be displayed (i.e. the aspect ratio of the second display is different from the aspect ratio of the first display).
One way of displaying the game screen to be displayed in the second display is to completely fill the second display with the game screen to be displayed, which then results in a shorter game screen to be displayed on the second display than on the first display, since the aspect ratio of the second display is smaller than the aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed, i.e. smaller than the aspect ratio of the first display. That is, when the game pictures to be displayed of the same game are displayed in the displays with different aspect ratios, the game pictures displayed in the two displays are different (for example, the game picture displayed in the display with smaller aspect ratio is shorter), if the player is used to play the game on the display with one aspect ratio, the operation habit of the player is easily affected when the player plays the game using the display with different aspect ratio, and thus the game experience of the player is affected.
In another display manner, the game picture to be displayed is displayed in the second display according to the original aspect ratio of the game picture to be displayed, and fig. 3 shows a schematic diagram of displaying the game picture to be displayed in the second display according to the original aspect ratio, as shown in fig. 3, where a black screen appears at the upper end and the lower end of the second display. That is, when game pictures to be displayed having the same aspect ratio are displayed in displays having different aspect ratios, black curtains appear at the upper and lower ends of a display having a smaller aspect ratio (for example, the second display) (or black curtains appear at the left and right ends of a display having a larger aspect ratio), which may result in a lower utilization of the display having the black curtains appear (for example, the second display).
Considering that when game pictures to be displayed having the same aspect ratio are displayed in displays having different aspect ratios, black curtains appear at the upper and lower ends of the display having the smaller aspect ratio (or black curtains appear at the left and right ends of the display having the larger aspect ratio), this may cause a problem that the utilization ratio of the display in which the black curtains appear is low. Based on this, the embodiments of the present application provide a display control method, apparatus, electronic device, and readable storage medium in a game, so as to improve the utilization rate of a display in which a black screen appears when displaying a game screen to be displayed having the same aspect ratio in displays having different aspect ratios.
It should be noted in advance that the term "comprising" will be used in this application to indicate the presence of the features stated hereinafter, but not to preclude the addition of further features. The methods described herein may be applied to any game that includes display control, and are not specifically limited herein with respect to particular games and game types.
Embodiment one:
for the convenience of understanding the present embodiment, a detailed description will be given first of a display control method in a game disclosed in the embodiment of the present application. Fig. 4 shows a flowchart of a display control method in a game according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 4, including the following steps S101 to S104:
S101: the aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed and the aspect ratio of the target display are determined.
In this embodiment, the game screen to be displayed may be at least a part of a game screen of a game and a controlled virtual character located in the at least part of a game scene. If the game screen to be displayed is to be displayed on the target display (e.g., the second display), the aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed and the aspect ratio of the target display are determined. With the foregoing example taken, the aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed is 16:9, the aspect ratio of the target display is 4:3.
s102: if the aspect ratio of the game picture to be displayed is different from that of the target display, determining a main display area and a secondary display area in a full-screen display state in the target display; wherein the aspect ratio of the main display area is the same as that of the game picture to be displayed, and the auxiliary display area is at least part of the display area except the main display area in the target display.
In this embodiment, fig. 5 shows a schematic diagram of a main display area and a sub display area provided in the embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 5, the aspect ratio of the main display area is the same as that of a game screen to be displayed, for example, each is 16:9.
In this embodiment, the sub display area may be all display areas except the main display area in the target display, that is, all black screen areas; or a partial display area other than the main display area, that is, a partial area in the black screen area in the target display, in which case the position and size of the sub display area in the target display (for example, in the black screen area) may be set according to the player's needs.
S103: and displaying a game screen to be displayed in the main display area.
In this embodiment, since the aspect ratio of the main display area is the same as that of the game screen to be displayed, the game screen to be displayed can be displayed full screen into the main display area in accordance with the original aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed.
S104: and displaying other game pictures in the game corresponding to the game picture to be displayed in the auxiliary display area.
In this embodiment, the other game screen may be other game screen than the game screen to be displayed in the game screen of the target game, or may be a partially enlarged game screen in the game screen to be displayed.
In this embodiment, compared to the problem that the target display is completely filled with the game screen to be displayed, which leads to shortening of the game screen to be displayed in the target display, the method of this embodiment can completely display the content of the game screen to be displayed, without affecting the operation habits and game experience of the player. Meanwhile, compared with the method that the game picture to be displayed is displayed in the target display according to the original aspect ratio of the game picture to be displayed, the problem that black screens appear at the upper end and the lower end of the target display is caused, and the method of the embodiment is beneficial to improving the display utilization rate of the target display by displaying other game pictures in the target game corresponding to the game picture to be displayed at the black screen (for example in the auxiliary display area).
In one possible implementation, after displaying the game screen to be displayed on the main display area in full screen according to the original aspect ratio, the following steps may be further performed in the main display area: and controlling the controlled virtual character to move in response to a movement control operation for the controlled virtual character in the game picture to be displayed.
In the game process, at least part of game scenes of the game and controlled virtual characters positioned in the at least part of game scenes are contained in the game images to be displayed, which are displayed in the main display area, and a player can perform movement control operation on the controlled virtual characters through control media, so that the movement state of the controlled virtual characters is controlled. The control medium comprises an external device and/or a main display area, and the external device can comprise a mouse, a keyboard, a game handle and the like. The moving state includes a moving speed, a moving direction, and the like.
In a possible embodiment, after performing step S101, the following steps may be further performed:
and if the aspect ratio of the game picture to be displayed is the same as that of the target display, displaying the game picture to be displayed in the target display in a full screen mode.
In this embodiment, if the aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed is the same as the aspect ratio of the target display, the game screen to be displayed is displayed in full screen in the target display according to the original aspect ratio of the game screen to be displayed.
