Abstract
The invention provides a device and a method for safely protecting and controlling the rotating speed of a diesel engine, wherein the device comprises: the rotating speed detection module comprises a plurality of rotating speed sensors for detecting the rotating speed of the diesel engine; a CPU control module; the system is used for acquiring the rotating speed data of the diesel engine and the emergency working condition override command, and controlling the diesel engine control system to work according to the rotating speed data of the diesel engine and the emergency working condition override command; a power input/output module; and the power supply module is used for supplying power to the rotating speed detection module and the CPU control module. The device and the method for safely protecting and controlling the rotating speed of the diesel engine can keep the normal running state and ensure the normal emergency cooling function of safety equipment under the condition of false alarm of the nuclear safety diesel engine together with the electronic control system of the nuclear safety diesel engine.

Background
The diesel engine safety protection system has different strategies according to different practical applications.
