Detailed Description
For the purpose of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the embodiments of the present application will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Currently, a terminal is generally identified by a MAC address. With the development of communication technology, a random MAC address technology is proposed to improve the security of the terminal, for example, to avoid tracking the terminal according to the MAC address. According to the technology, when the terminal is networked each time, the MAC address of the terminal is randomly changed, so that the MAC addresses of the same terminal in different surfing times are different. However, this may result in the inability to identify the terminal. In this way, the terminal cannot be managed for different networking procedures of the terminal. For example, the key indicator performance (key performance indicator, KPI) of the terminal in a specified period of time cannot be obtained.
The embodiment of the application provides a terminal identification method. In the method, after a network access request of a terminal is received, characteristic information of the terminal is acquired based on the network access request, and then the identification of the terminal is determined based on the characteristic information of the terminal. The feature information is used for indicating the features of the terminal. And the characteristic information indicates one or more of: information about applications that the terminal uses traffic to access, the type of the terminal, manufacturer information of the terminal, configuration parameters that the terminal uses for communication, user agent information of the terminal, and traffic information of the terminal. The characteristic information describes characteristics of the terminal from one or more angles, and thus, the terminal can be identified based on the identification determined by the characteristic information. For example, when the content indicated by the feature information includes information about an application program accessed by the terminal using traffic, since the application information is embodied as an operation performed by a user on the terminal, and a usage habit of the same terminal by the user is not generally changed, the identification generated based on the application information can uniquely identify the terminal.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an implementation environment related to an identification method of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 1, the implementation environment includes: gateway device 01 and terminal 02. A network connection is established between the gateway device 01 and the terminal 02, which may be a wired network connection or a wireless network connection. The gateway apparatus 01 is an apparatus that provides a data conversion service between a plurality of networks. The gateway device 01 is used for providing network access services to the terminal 02. The terminal 02 can access the network through the gateway apparatus 01 and access the application program using the network. Also, as shown in fig. 1, one gateway apparatus 01 can establish network connection with a plurality of terminals 02.
In this implementation environment, when the terminal 02 needs to access the network, an access request may be sent to the gateway apparatus 01. After receiving the network access request, the gateway device 01 may execute the method for identifying the terminal 02 according to the embodiment of the present application based on the network access request, so as to identify the terminal 02 in the process that the terminal 02 uses the network. For example, the gateway apparatus 01 performs: feature information of the terminal 02 is acquired, and then the identity of the terminal 02 is determined based on the feature information.
Alternatively, the identification method of the terminal 02 provided in the embodiment of the present application may be implemented by means of software. For example, the executable program implementation may be executed by the gateway apparatus 01. In one implementation manner, an agent may be integrated in the gateway device 01 in advance according to a certain usage specification, and the identification method of the terminal provided in the embodiment of the present application is executed through the agent.
In one implementation, the gateway device may be an optical network unit (optical network unit, ONU), a router, an optical network terminal (optical network termination, ONT), or an Access Point (AP), or the like. The optical network terminal can provide various broadband services to the user terminal connected with the optical network terminal by matching with the optical line terminal. In one implementation, the optical network terminal may be a gateway device such as a "optical modem". An access point may be a network device such as a router or switch for enhancing network coverage, which may be configured with a chip for providing network access services. For example, when an access point is used to provide wireless access services based on a wireless local area network (wireless local area network, WLAN) protocol for the terminal 02, the access point may be configured with a WLAN chip or a WLAN system on a chip (SoC) or the like.
The terminal 02 may be a mobile phone, a personal computer (personal computer, PC), a tablet (pad), a Set Top Box (STB), a smart television, an internet of things (internet of things, ioT) device, an automatic optical inspection (automated optical inspection, AOI) device, a smart wearable device, an in-vehicle communication device, a computer, etc. And, the terminal 02 is configured with a chip for accessing the network. For example, when the terminal 02 is a wireless terminal, the terminal 02 may be configured with a WLAN chip.
In addition, a plurality of gateway devices may be deployed in the implementation environment, and at this time, the method for identifying a terminal provided in the embodiment of the present application may be executed by one gateway device of the plurality of gateway devices. For example, as shown in FIG. 2, the implementation environment may include: optical network terminal 011, access point 012 and terminal 02. Wherein, one optical network terminal 011 establishes network connection with a plurality of access points 012, and one access point 012 establishes network connection with a plurality of terminals 02. At this time, the method for identifying a terminal provided in the embodiment of the present application may be performed by the optical network terminal 011. It should be noted that fig. 2 is only a schematic diagram of the implementation scenario, and is not limited to specific devices of the implementation scenario, and devices included in the implementation scenario may be adjusted according to application requirements, for example, the implementation scenario may also not include the access point 012.
Optionally, as shown in fig. 3, the implementation scenario may further include: a network control engine (network control engine, NCE) 03. A network connection is established between the network control engine 03 and the gateway device 01. The network control engine 03 is used to manage the gateway apparatus 01, and therefore, the network control engine 03 is also referred to as a network management system. Also, as shown in fig. 3, one network control engine 03 may manage a plurality of gateway devices 01. Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of the gateway device 01 as an optical network terminal 011. In one implementation, the network control engine 03 may be deployed in the cloud, where the network control engine 03 is also referred to as a cloud management system. In addition, when the proxy is integrated in the gateway device 01, a request for controlling the device such as the terminal 02 by the network control engine 03 may be converted by the proxy into a request issued by the gateway device 01, thereby realizing control of the device such as the terminal 02. In the application scenario shown in fig. 3, the implementation manner and the function of the gateway device 01 and the terminal 02 refer to the related description in the application scenario shown in fig. 1. And will not be described in detail herein.
The process of determining the identity of the terminal 02 based on the characteristic information of the terminal 02 may be performed by other devices, as required by the application scenario. For example, it may be performed by an access controller (access controller) or the like, which is not specifically limited in the embodiments of the present application.
It should be understood that the foregoing is an exemplary description of an application scenario of the identification method of the terminal provided in the embodiment of the present application, and does not constitute a limitation on the application scenario of the identification method of the terminal, and those skilled in the art can know that, as the service requirement changes, the application scenario can be adjusted according to the application requirement, which is not explicitly recited in the embodiment of the present application.
The following describes a process of implementing the identification method of the terminal provided in the embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 4, the implementation process of the identification method of the terminal may include the following steps:
step 401, gateway equipment receives a network access request of a terminal.
When the terminal needs to access the network, the terminal can send a network access request, and the gateway equipment can receive the network access request.
Step 402, the gateway device obtains the characteristic information of the terminal based on the network access request.
After receiving the network access request of the terminal, the gateway device may determine a device that needs to access the network (i.e., the terminal that sends the network access request) based on the network access request, and acquire the feature information of the terminal. The feature information is used for indicating the features of the terminal. And, the feature information may include one or more items of content for reflecting one or more types of features of the terminal. Alternatively, the characteristic information may indicate one or more of the following: information about applications that the terminal uses traffic to access, the type of the terminal, manufacturer information of the terminal, configuration parameters that the terminal uses for communication, user agent information of the terminal, and traffic information of the terminal. At least some of the above one or more contents of different terminals are different, so that the terminals can be distinguished using the above one or more contents, and the terminals can be identified based on the characteristic information indicating the above one or more contents. The implementation manner of acquiring the corresponding content is described below with respect to different contents indicated by the feature information, respectively.
The information about the application program accessed by the terminal using the traffic can be expressed as the usage habit of the user to the terminal. At this time, the terminal is identified based on the feature information, and the terminal is identified by using the usage habit of the user to the terminal. Since the usage habit of the same terminal is not changed, the terminal is identified based on the related information of the application program accessed by the terminal using flow, and the unique identification of the terminal can be realized. Optionally, the related information of the application program accessed by the terminal using the traffic can be obtained in the process of using the traffic by the terminal. When the terminal acquires the traffic from the gateway device, the terminal reports the related information of the application program accessed by the traffic to the gateway device, so that the gateway device can acquire the application information.
Wherein the application information can be reflected by a process of the terminal accessing the application program using the traffic. In one implementation, the application information may be reflected by one or more of: application name and application identification of the application program, and user identification used for accessing the application program. The application name and the application identification are both used to indicate the application program. According to at least one of the application name and the application identifier, an application program accessed by the terminal using the traffic can be determined. The user identification used by the access application is used to identify the user accessing the application. The user identifier may be an anonymously processed user identifier to protect user privacy.
The type of terminal is used to indicate what device the terminal is specifically. For example, the type of the terminal is used to indicate which of a mobile phone, a personal computer, a tablet computer, a set-top box, a smart television, an internet of things device, an automatic optical detection device, a smart wearable device, a wireless gateway device, an in-vehicle communication device, a computer, and the like is the terminal. In one implementation, the network access request of the terminal may carry the type information of the terminal, and data for identifying the type of the terminal may be extracted from the network access request to obtain the type of the terminal.
The manufacturer information of the terminal is used to refer to the manufacturer that produces the terminal. The manufacturer information of the terminal includes one or more of the following: terminal model, manufacturer name and manufacturer identification. In one implementation, the gateway device may use a terminal type identification technology to obtain information such as a terminal model, a manufacturer name, and a manufacturer identifier.
The configuration parameters of the terminal for communication are used to indicate the capabilities of the terminal in relation to the communication procedure, i.e. the capabilities the terminal has when communicating. In one implementation, when the terminal accesses the gateway device through a dynamic host configuration protocol (dynamic gost configuration protocol, DHCP), after the gateway device receives the network access request of the terminal, DHCP information may be allocated to the terminal within the capability range of the terminal according to the capability of the terminal. The DHCP information is used to indicate the capability of the terminal to communicate with the gateway device, i.e. the configuration parameters of the terminal for communication may be indicated by the DHCP information. At this time, since the DHCP information is allocated to the terminal by the gateway device, the gateway device can obtain the DHCP information.
Optionally, the configuration parameters of the terminal for communication reflect one or more of the following: media access control address, terminal name, signal strength, access frequency band, number of negotiated antennas, negotiated rate, mode of access network, and support capability for roaming. The terminal name may be a name edited by the user for the terminal. For example: when the terminal is a smart phone, the terminal name may be "Zhang san cell phone". The signal strength may be represented by a received signal strength indication (received signal strength indication, RSSI). The access frequency band refers to the frequency band of the terminal accessing the network. The access frequency band can be a frequency band such as 2.4G or 5G. The number of negotiation antennas refers to the number of antennas used for transmitting negotiation data when negotiating between the terminal and the gateway device. The number of the negotiation antennas may be some or all of the antennas that the terminal has. For example, when the terminal has 4×4 antennas, the number of negotiated antennas of the terminal may be 1×1, 2×2, or 4×4. The negotiation rate refers to the rate at which data is transmitted when negotiating between the terminal and the gateway device. The mode of access to the network may be represented by a communication protocol used by the terminal access gateway device. For example, the communication protocol used by the terminal access gateway device may be 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11a, 802.11ac, or 802.11ax. The support capability of the terminal for roaming may be manifested by the relevant protocols (e.g., 802.11k, 802.11v, 802.11r, etc.) whether the terminal supports roaming.
The User Agent (UA) information of the terminal reflects the configuration of the terminal for browsing. The user agent is a special string header that enables the server to identify the operating system and version used by the terminal, the processor type (e.g., CPU type), the browser and version, the browser rendering engine, the browser language, the browser plug-in, etc. In one implementation, when the terminal accesses the gateway device through the hypertext transfer protocol (hypertext transfer protocol, HTTP), the HTTP protocol sent by the terminal carries the user agent information of the terminal, and the gateway device may intercept the HTTP protocol and extract the user agent information of the terminal from the HTTP protocol (e.g., in the header field of the HTTP protocol).
Optionally, the user agent information of the terminal reflects one or more of: operating system and version, processor type, browser and version, browser rendering engine, browser language, and browser plug-in. By acquiring the user agent information of the terminal, different pages can be conveniently provided for the terminal based on an operating system and a browser used by the terminal, so that the terminal can normally display, and better browsing experience or information statistics can be provided for a user.
The traffic information of the terminal is used for reflecting the traffic use condition of the terminal. The flow information may be represented by one or more of the following: the terminal specifies the traffic consumed during the duration and the traffic rate used by the terminal. Because the terminal obtains the traffic from the gateway device, the gateway device can obtain traffic information of the terminal according to the condition of providing the traffic to the terminal. And, the traffic information of the terminal may be counted according to the time period. For example, the traffic consumed by the terminal for a specified period of time may be the traffic consumed by the terminal every ten seconds.
Step 403, the gateway device generates an identifier of the terminal based on the characteristic information of the terminal.
After the gateway device obtains the characteristic information of the terminal, the identifier of the terminal can be obtained based on the characteristic information of the terminal. The gateway device may have stored therein the identification and the feature information of the identified terminal in advance. At this time, the characteristic information of the terminal may be matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal to determine whether the terminal is the identified terminal. If the terminal is an identified terminal, the terminal is identified by using the existing identification of the identified terminal. If the terminal is not the identified terminal, an identification is generated for the terminal. It should be noted that, the gateway device may not store the identifier and the feature information of the identified terminal, and may directly generate the identifier for the terminal. The implementation procedure of this step 403 will be described below for the case where the identification and the feature information of the identified terminal are stored in the gateway device in advance. As shown in fig. 5, the implementation process includes:
Step 4031, the characteristic information of the terminal is matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal.
The identified terminal may be a terminal that has been identified by the gateway device and has the identity and its characteristic information recorded by the gateway device. Alternatively, it may be a terminal that has been identified by other devices and has its representation and characteristic information recorded in the gateway device.
When the feature information indicates a plurality of pieces of content, matching needs to be performed for each of the plurality of pieces of content. And when all the item contents indicated by the characteristic information of the terminal are correspondingly matched with the corresponding item contents of the identified terminal, determining that the characteristic information of the terminal is matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal. And when one or more items of content exist in all items of content indicated by the characteristic information of the terminal and are not matched with the corresponding item of content of the identified terminal, determining that the characteristic information of the terminal is not matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal.
Alternatively, a matching policy may be stored in the gateway device in advance, the matching policy being used to indicate a criterion for judging whether the two pieces of feature information match. When the characteristic information of the terminal is matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal, the characteristic information of the terminal and the characteristic information of the identified terminal can be matched according to the matching strategy.
In one implementation of the matching policy, when determining whether the characteristic information of the terminal matches the characteristic information of the identified terminal, for the characteristic information adopting quantitative quantity, such as signal strength, negotiation rate, flow consumed in a specified period of time of the terminal, flow rate used by the terminal, and the like, a floating range may be set for the quantity of the characteristic information of the identified terminal, when the quantity of the characteristic information is located in the floating range, it is determined that the characteristic information matches the characteristic information of the identified terminal, and when the quantity of the characteristic information is located outside the floating range, it is determined that the characteristic information does not match the characteristic information of the identified terminal. For characteristic information which indicates the same object before and after the character representation and part of the character change, such as the terminal name, the operating system and version, the processor type, the browser and version, the browser rendering engine, the browser language, the browser plug-in and the like, a regular expression which indicates the same object can be set based on the characteristic information of the identified terminal, when the characteristic information accords with the regular expression, the characteristic information is determined to be matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal, and when the characteristic information does not accord with the regular expression, the characteristic information is determined to be not matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal. For the characteristic information indicating different objects caused by the change of any character in the characters used for representing the characteristic information, such as the application name, the application identifier, the user identifier, the terminal model, the manufacturer name, the manufacturer identifier, the media access control address, the access frequency band, the number of negotiated antennas, the mode of accessing the network, the supporting capability of roaming and the like, if the characteristic information is different from any character in the characteristic information of the identified terminal, the characteristic information is determined to be not matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal.
Table 1 is an implementation of a matching policy provided in an embodiment of the present application, for example. As shown in table 1, the content indicated by the feature information includes: terminal name, signal strength, information about the application, flow consumed by the terminal for a specified period of time, and configuration parameters of the terminal for communication. When judging whether the terminal names are matched, considering that the terminal names of the same terminal are generally unchanged or have small change amplitude, when the terminal names conform to the regular expression of the identified terminal names, two terminal names can be determined to be used for indicating the same terminal, namely, the terminal names of the terminals are determined to be matched with the terminal names of the identified terminals. When judging whether the signal strengths are matched, considering that the position of the same terminal is generally unchanged and/or the received power of the terminal is stable, when the signal strength of the terminal is within the signal strength range of the identified terminal, determining that the terminal and the identified terminal are the same terminal, namely determining that the signal strength of the terminal is matched with the signal strength of the identified terminal. When judging whether the related information of the application programs is matched, considering that the application programs used by the same terminal are not changed constantly, when the related information of the application programs corresponding to the terminal is identical to the related information of the application programs corresponding to the identified terminal, for example, when the application identifier corresponding to the terminal is identical to the application identifier corresponding to the identified terminal and the application name corresponding to the identified terminal is identical to the application name corresponding to the identified terminal, the terminal and the identified terminal are determined to be the same terminal, namely, the related information of the application programs corresponding to the terminal is determined to be matched with the related information of the application programs corresponding to the identified terminal. When judging whether the consumed flow in the appointed time period is matched, considering that the users of the same terminal do the same thing at the same time generally, the consumed flow in the appointed time period is not changed greatly, therefore, when the flow information of the terminal accords with the flow model of the used flow of the identified terminal, the terminal and the identified terminal are determined to be the same terminal, namely the consumed flow of the terminal in the appointed time period is determined to be matched with the consumed flow of the identified terminal in the appointed time period. When judging whether the configuration parameters of the terminal for communication are matched or not, considering that the capability of the terminal for communication is unchanged, when the configuration parameters of the terminal for communication reflect the number of the negotiation antennas of the terminal and the supporting capability of roaming, if the number of the negotiation antennas of the terminal and the identified terminal is the same and the supporting capability of the terminal and the identified terminal for roaming is the same, determining that the terminal and the identified terminal are the same, namely determining that the configuration parameters of the terminal for communication are matched with the configuration parameters of the identified terminal for communication.
The traffic model may represent information such as a maximum rate, a minimum rate, a traffic usage time, and a traffic rate change trend of the traffic used by the terminal. Fig. 6 and 7 show traffic models of the terminal 1 and the terminal 2, respectively. As shown in fig. 6 and fig. 7, the maximum rate, the minimum rate, and the traffic rate change trend of the traffic of the terminal 1 and the terminal 2 are significantly different, and it is known that the usage of the traffic by the terminal 1 and the terminal 2 is significantly different, so that the terminal 1 and the terminal 2 are different terminals.
TABLE 1
It should be noted that, the feature information of the terminal may indicate multiple contents, and the matching policies corresponding to different contents may be different, so that multiple matching policies may be preset in the gateway device. The same item of content in the feature information may be represented in different manners, and the policy for matching the content may be different. Therefore, before the feature information of the terminal is matched with the feature information of the identified terminal, a matching policy for matching each item of content in the feature information needs to be acquired based on the feature information among a plurality of matching policies.
Step 4032, when the characteristic information of the terminal matches the characteristic information of the identified terminal, the identification of the identified terminal is used as the identification of the terminal.
When the characteristic information of the terminal is matched with the characteristic information of the identified terminal, the terminal and the identified terminal are the same terminal, and the terminal can be identified by using the identification of the identified terminal, so that the unified identification of the same terminal is realized.
Step 4033, when the characteristic information of the terminal does not match the characteristic information of the identified terminal, generating an identification for the terminal, and determining the terminal as the identified terminal.
When generating the identifier for the terminal, the identifier carrying the characteristic information can be generated based on the characteristic information of the terminal. In one implementation, when the characteristic information indicates one or more of the following: the generated identifier may carry the one or more contents when the terminal uses the related information of the application program accessed by the traffic, the type of the terminal, the manufacturer information of the terminal, the configuration parameters of the terminal for communication, the user agent information of the terminal, and the traffic information of the terminal, so as to distinguish the terminal by using the one or more contents. For example, when the characteristic information of the terminal indicates related information of an application program accessed by the terminal using traffic, a type of the terminal, manufacturer information, and traffic information, and the application information is reflected by an application name of the application program, the manufacturer information is reflected by a terminal model, and the traffic information is reflected by a traffic rate used by the terminal, the identification generated for the terminal may include information of the application name, the terminal model, and the traffic rate used by the terminal. Or, the identifier generated for the terminal may not carry the characteristic information, so long as the generated identifier can uniquely identify the terminal. For example, a unique random number may be generated for a terminal, with the random number being used as an identification of the terminal, to distinguish the terminal from other terminals based on the identification. In a scenario in which the gateway device does not store the identifier and the feature information of the identified terminal, the generation method may be referred to when the identifier needs to be generated for the terminal.
After the identifier is generated for the terminal, the terminal is determined to be the identified terminal, and the identifier and the characteristic information of the terminal are recorded in the gateway equipment, so that the gateway equipment can conveniently determine the identifier of the terminal based on the identifier and the characteristic information when the terminal is accessed to the gateway equipment later.
When the terminal has just accessed the network, the characteristic information of the terminal does not include the related content indicating the traffic because the terminal has not used the traffic yet. At this time, the identification of the terminal may be determined from the characteristic information that can be acquired, and the terminal may be identified using the identification determined according to the manner. Or after the terminal uses the traffic, the characteristic information indicating the traffic and the characteristic information of the identified terminal can be matched, when the characteristic information indicating the traffic and the characteristic information of the identified terminal which is just accessed to the network by the terminal are not matched, the identification is determined for the terminal again, and when the characteristic information indicating the traffic and the characteristic information of the identified terminal which is just accessed to the network by the terminal are still matched, the identification of the identified terminal is continuously used.
It should be further noted that, if only one terminal in the terminals managed by the gateway device adopts the random MAC technology, only one unidentified terminal will appear each time the terminal accesses the network, the identifier may be directly generated for the terminal according to the step 4033, so as to identify the terminal.
Step 404, the gateway device sends the identity of the terminal to the network control engine.
After the gateway device generates the identifier of the terminal, the gateway device may send the identifier of the terminal to other devices such as a network control engine, so as to manage the terminal based on the identifier in the process of using traffic by the terminal. When other related devices exist in the application scene and need to manage the terminal based on the identifier of the terminal, the gateway device can also send the identifier of the terminal to the other related devices. And, the gateway device may also send other relevant information of the terminal to other devices such as a network control engine, so as to manage the terminal based on the other relevant information.
Alternatively, the matching policy and the identity of the identified terminal may be obtained by other devices and provided to the gateway device, or may be obtained by the gateway device itself. The following describes the implementation of the skimming strategy by the network control engine as an example. As shown in fig. 8, the implementation process includes:
step 801, the gateway device obtains feature information of a plurality of sample terminals.
In one implementation, the characteristic information of the sample terminal may be obtained during the process of accessing the sample terminal to the network. For example, the characteristic information of the sample terminal may be acquired after the sample terminal transmits the network access request. The sample terminal may be any terminal that accesses the network through the gateway device prior to generating the matching policy. The implementation manner and the acquisition manner of the feature information of the sample terminal can be referred to correspondingly, and are not described herein.
The network control engine can control the process of acquiring the characteristic information of the sample terminal by the gateway device. For example, the network control engine may send an acquisition policy and an information aggregation policy to the gateway device, so that the gateway device acquires the characteristic information of the sample terminals according to the acquisition policy, and after acquiring the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals, aggregates the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals according to the aggregation policy. Alternatively, the acquisition policy may specify a period for the gateway device to acquire the characteristic information. The aggregation policy may instruct the gateway device to process a plurality of feature information indicating the same content of the same sample terminal when the plurality of feature information is collected. For example, the aggregation policy may indicate jitter suppression of the plurality of feature information to avoid providing duplicate content to the network control engine.
Step 802, the gateway device provides feature information of a plurality of sample terminals to the network control engine.
When the matching policy is generated by the network control engine, after the gateway device obtains the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals, the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals may be provided to the network control engine so that the network control engine generates the matching policy based on the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals. Alternatively, the gateway device may provide the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals to the network control engine according to a certain policy. For example, the gateway device may package the acquired feature information and periodically provide the feature information of the plurality of sample terminals to the network control engine. When the matching policy is generated by another device, the gateway device needs to transmit the feature information of the plurality of sample terminals to the other device. And, the network control engine may control a process of providing the characteristic information of the sample terminal to the gateway device. For example, the network control engine may send a reporting policy to the gateway device, such that the gateway device provides the characteristic information of the sample terminal to the network control engine according to the reporting policy.
Step 803, the network control engine generates a matching policy based on the feature information of the plurality of sample terminals.
After the network control engine acquires the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals, the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals can be analyzed to obtain differences among the characteristic information of different sample terminals, and a matching strategy is generated based on the differences. Alternatively, the network control engine may analyze the characteristic information of the plurality of sample terminals by using a big data analysis technique or a machine learning algorithm, which is not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application. And, the network control engine may be configured with a distributed database, and after the network control engine receives the feature information sent by the gateway device, the network control engine may store the feature information in the distributed database.
Step 804, the network control engine provides the matching policy to the gateway device.
After the network control engine generates the matching policy, the matching policy may be provided to the gateway device, so that the gateway device may match the feature information of the terminal based on the matching policy.
In summary, in the method for identifying a terminal provided in the embodiment of the present application, after receiving a network access request of the terminal, the method obtains feature information of the terminal based on the network access request, and then determines the identification of the terminal based on the feature information of the terminal.
