Detailed Description
For the purpose of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application more apparent, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present application, not all embodiments. The components of the embodiments of the present application generally described and illustrated in the figures herein may be arranged and designed in a wide variety of different configurations. Thus, the following detailed description of the embodiments of the application, as presented in the figures, is not intended to limit the scope of the application, as claimed, but is merely representative of selected embodiments of the application. All other embodiments, which can be made by a person skilled in the art without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the present application.
The virtual character can be controlled by a player to reach the destination through a movement control in the process that the virtual character reaches the destination through movement of the game scene, or can be controlled by a player to reach the destination through selecting a movement prop, and whether the player moves in the game scene through the movement control or the movement of the virtual character in the game scene through the movement prop, the position of the destination is required to be determined by the player before or during movement, that is, the player is required to manually select the destination in the game scene. For example, if it is desired to reach the same destination as the virtual character of the same camp in the game scene, the player must select the destination before moving and then control the virtual character to move to the destination, but the process of selecting the destination by the player is not well controlled and is prone to deviation, resulting in lower accuracy in determining the destination. Still alternatively, in the prior art, a following function appears in a game, but the following function can only make a step-like movement for the first virtual character to follow the followed object, before the following is released, the first virtual character cannot reach the same destination as the followed object, if after the following is released, the player is required to control the first virtual character to move to the same destination as the followed object, and the player is required to control the movement direction of the virtual character by himself, during this movement, the operation of the player on the first virtual character is not well controlled, and deviation is easy to appear, resulting in lower accuracy in determining the destination.
In view of the above drawbacks, an embodiment of the present application provides a method for controlling a character in a game, as shown in fig. 1, where a game scene of the game includes a first virtual character controlled by a target player and a second virtual character controlled by other players, and the method includes:
s101, responding to a movement control operation of the target player for the first virtual character, and controlling the first virtual character to move in the game scene;
s102, setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to be in a target virtual skill linkage state in response to a selection operation of the target player for the target second virtual character;
s103, responding to the target second virtual role to release target virtual skills, determining a second target position of the target virtual skills, generating and displaying a second moving track between the target second virtual role and the second target position, and controlling the target second virtual role to move towards the second target position along the second moving track; the method comprises the steps of,
and S104, setting the second target position as the target position of the target virtual skill of the first virtual character, generating and displaying a first moving track between the first virtual character and the second target position after the target virtual skill is released by the first virtual character, and controlling the first virtual character to move towards the second target position along the first moving track.
The method for controlling the roles in the game in the embodiment of the application can be operated on the terminal equipment or the server. The terminal device may be a local terminal device. The control method of the character in the game may be a cloud game when it is run on a server.
In an alternative embodiment, cloud gaming refers to a game style based on cloud computing. In the cloud game operation mode, the game program operation main body and the game picture presentation main body are separated, the storage and operation of the message sending method in the game are completed on the cloud game server, and the terminal equipment is used for receiving and sending data and presenting the game pictures, for example, the terminal equipment can be a display equipment with a data transmission function close to a user side, such as a mobile terminal, a television, a computer, a palm computer, a game host and the like; the terminal device for processing game data is a cloud game server in the cloud. When playing the game, the target player operates the terminal device to send an operation instruction to the cloud game server, the cloud game server runs the game according to the operation instruction, codes and compresses data such as game pictures and the like, returns the data to the terminal device through a network, and finally decodes the data through the terminal device and outputs the game pictures.
In an alternative embodiment, the terminal device may be a local terminal device. The local terminal device stores a game program and is used for presenting game pictures. The local terminal device is used for interacting with the target player through the graphical user interface, namely, conventionally downloading and installing the game program through the electronic device and running. The manner in which the local terminal device provides the graphical user interface to the target player may include a variety of ways, for example, it may be rendered for display on a display screen of the terminal device, or it may be provided to the target player by holographic projection. For example, the local terminal device may include a display screen for presenting a graphical user interface including a portion of a game scene, and a processor for running the game, generating the graphical user interface, and controlling the display of the graphical user interface on the display screen.
The game of the present application includes a game scene and a first virtual character controlled by a target player and a second virtual character controlled by other players located in the game scene. The terminal device or the cloud game may cause the first virtual character to perform a virtual action in the game scene, such as moving in the game scene, releasing skills, or the like, in response to the control for the first virtual character. The game scene may include any one or more of the following game elements: landforms, mountain stones, flowers and plants, rivers, buildings, virtual objects, game props and the like. In general, a virtual camera is provided in a game scene, and a game screen displayed on a graphical user interface, that is, a part of the game scene content captured by the virtual camera is displayed. For example, in a first person game, a virtual camera may be positioned at the head (e.g., eye position) of a first virtual character controlled by a player, the virtual camera moving in response to movement of the first virtual character, the orientation of the virtual camera rotating in response to rotation of the first virtual character, such that a game scene presented on a graphical user interface is a portion of a game scene within a preset range in front of the first virtual character. As another example, in a third person game, a virtual camera may be positioned directly above or behind a first virtual character controlled by a player, so that the game screen presented on the graphical user interface is part of the game scene including the first virtual character. And logging in an account number of the first virtual character on the terminal equipment or the cloud game, wherein the first virtual character is controlled by the terminal equipment or the cloud game. Virtual objects refer to dynamic objects that can be controlled in a virtual scene. Alternatively, the dynamic object may be a virtual character, a virtual animal, a cartoon character, or the like. The first virtual Character is a Character controlled by a target Player through a terminal device, or is an artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence, AI) set in a virtual environment fight by training, or is a Non-Player Character (NPC) set in the virtual environment fight. Optionally, the first avatar is a avatar playing an athletic activity in the virtual scene. The second virtual Character may be an artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence, AI) set in the virtual environment fight by training or a Non-Player Character (NPC) set in the virtual environment fight, and if the second virtual Character is a virtual Character controlled by another Player, the second virtual Character may be a virtual Character belonging to the same battle as the first virtual Character.
The target virtual skill mentioned in the present application is a skill released by the virtual character using the virtual prop, and the target virtual skill may be a skill for quickly moving to the target position, or capturing an object, or binding with the virtual object and transmitting the virtual object, and the virtual prop may be a hook lock, or may be called a flying rope, a hook rope device, a hook rope prop, a flying rope device, a flying rope prop, or the like. The moving speed of the rapid movement is greater than the moving speed of the ordinary movement of the virtual character in the game scene. The normal movement refers to running, walking, crawling and the like in a game scene, and the rapid movement includes leaping in a certain direction, sliding in a certain direction, instantaneous movement in a certain direction, flashing movement in a certain direction and the like, and the movement modes such as leaping, sliding, instantaneous movement, flashing movement and the like are all movement modes larger than running.
The method for controlling the roles in the game in the embodiment of the application can be applied to an instant combat mode, wherein a target player controls the first virtual role to act in a game scene through real-time instructions in the instant combat mode, and in the combat process, the target player can control the first virtual role to combat according to own ideas.
S101, responding to movement control operation of the target player for the first virtual character, and controlling the first virtual character to move in the game scene.
In the above step S101, the movement control operation refers to a touch operation of the target player on the movement control area in the graphical user interface, or may be a touch operation of the target player on the movement control (rocker) in the graphical user interface.
In specific implementation, the target player can control the first virtual character to perform normal movement in the scene of the first virtual character through a movement control operation on the first virtual character, wherein the movement control operation is used for controlling the movement speed and the movement direction of the first virtual character in the game scene. Common movements include crawling, walking, and running. However, the first character is controlled to move at a speed that is at least as fast as running by the movement control operation.
S102, setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to be in a target virtual skill linkage state in response to the selection operation of the target player on the target second virtual character.
In the above step 102, the target virtual skill linkage state may be a state in which the first virtual character and the target second virtual character move along with the target second virtual character and can reach the same destination when using the target virtual skill. The target virtual skill may be a skill that controls the virtual skill to quickly move along the movement trajectory toward the target position, and the target virtual skill may be a skill that quickly evades, or a skill that quickly moves using the hooking and locking device.
The selecting operation of the target player for the target second virtual character refers to using one second virtual character selected by the selecting operation from the plurality of second virtual characters as the target second virtual character, wherein the selecting operation includes a touch operation for the second virtual character in the game scene, or may be a touch operation for a corresponding character selection control of the second virtual character in the graphical user interface, and the touch operation may be a click operation, a long-press operation, a heavy-press operation, or the like.
In a specific implementation, if the selection operation is a touch operation for the second virtual character in the game scene, a linkage control may be displayed at a preset position of the graphical user interface as shown in fig. 2, after the linkage control is touched, the target second virtual character is determined in the graphical user interface through the selection operation for the second virtual character, and the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to be in a target virtual skill linkage state. The selection operation of the second virtual character in the graphical user interface may be a clicking operation, or may be a drag operation performed on the binding control, and then the second virtual character corresponding to the drag end point of the drag operation is determined as the target second virtual character. Or after the selection operation is performed on the second virtual character in the graphical user interface, a linkage control is displayed near the selected target second virtual character, as shown in fig. 3, and then the selected second virtual character is determined as the target second virtual character based on the touch operation of the target player on the linkage control, and the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to be in a target virtual skill linkage state.
And if the target player touches the linkage control, displaying a second virtual character list, wherein the selection operation is a touch operation of a character selection control for a target second virtual character in the second virtual character list in the graphical user interface, as shown in fig. 4, displaying a character selection control (the second virtual character comprises a virtual character A, a virtual character B, a target second virtual character and a virtual character C) corresponding to each second virtual character in the selection list, and determining the second virtual character corresponding to the touched character selection control as the target second virtual character and setting a linkage state of the target virtual skill between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character through the touch of the player to the character selection control in the second virtual character list.
And S103, responding to the target second virtual role to release the target virtual skill, generating and displaying a second moving track between the target second virtual role and the second target position according to the second target position of the target virtual skill, and controlling the target second virtual role to move towards the second target position along the second moving track.
In step S103, the second target position is determined when the target virtual skill is released, that is, the second target position is a position that the target second virtual character can reach using the target virtual skill, and the second target position may be a position selected by the target player or a position selected by the system. The second movement trajectory is formed from positions passed in the process of reaching the second target position from the current position when the target virtual skill is released by the target second virtual character, and the second movement trajectory may be a line.
The steps S102 and S103 in the present application include two embodiments in execution sequence, where the first embodiment is that the step S102 may be performed first and then the step S103 may be performed, that is, the target second virtual character is selected through a selection operation, and the setting of the target virtual skill linkage state between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character is implemented, after setting a virtual character and the target second virtual character to the target virtual skill linkage state, the target second virtual character may release the target virtual skill, determine the second target position, and generate and display the second movement track between the target second virtual character and the second target position, so that the target second virtual character may move along the second movement track toward the second target position. In the second embodiment, step S103 may be executed first, and then step S102 may be executed, that is, in the process that the target second virtual character releases the target virtual skill to move, the first virtual character and the target second virtual character may be set to the target virtual skill linkage state, and in the process that the target second virtual character releases the virtual skill, the target second virtual character is controlled to move along the second movement track toward the second target position, the selection operation of the target player for the target second virtual character may be responded, and the setting of the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to the target virtual skill linkage state may be implemented. The third embodiment may be performed simultaneously in step S103 and step S102, and simultaneously in response to the selection operation of the target player for the target second virtual character, the target virtual skill is released in response to the target second virtual character.
And S104, setting the second target position as the target position of the target virtual skill of the first virtual character, generating and displaying a first moving track between the first virtual character and the second target position after the target virtual skill of the first virtual character is released, and controlling the first virtual character to move towards the second target position along the first moving track.
In step S104, the target position and the second target position are the same position, that is, the position that the first virtual character can reach when releasing the target virtual skill after the second target position is set to the target virtual skill linkage state between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character. The first movement trajectory is a position passed by the first virtual character in the process of reaching the second target position from the current position when the first virtual character releases the target virtual skill, and the first movement trajectory may be a line.
In the embodiment provided by the application, through the four steps, in the process of setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to be in the target virtual skill linkage state, as long as the target second virtual character moves towards the second target position determined based on the released target virtual skill, the second target position is set to be the target position corresponding to the first virtual character when the virtual skill is released by the first virtual character, and the first virtual character also moves towards the second target position, so that the first virtual character can follow the target second virtual character to reach the same position (namely the second target position), and after the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to be in the target virtual skill linkage state, the first virtual character can automatically follow the target second virtual character, the target player is not required to control the first virtual character to move along with the target second virtual character, the control of the target player on the first virtual character is reduced, the time of the first virtual character reaching the second target position is shortened, and the control efficiency of the target player on the first virtual character is improved.
In the application, the target virtual skill linkage state is set between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character, and the aim is mainly to enable the first virtual character to accurately reach the second target position to which the target second virtual character is directed, so that team cooperation can be better carried out between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character. Therefore, in the process that the first virtual character moves along the second virtual character, if the first virtual character moves towards the second target position along the moving track of the second virtual character, the efficiency of the first virtual character moving to the second target moving position can be improved. Thus, step S104 includes:
step 1041, generating a third movement track between the first position and the second position according to the first position of the first virtual character and the second position of the target second virtual character when the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to be in a target virtual skill linkage state;
step 1042, generating and displaying a first moving track according to a third moving track between the first position and the second position and a second moving track between the second position and the second target position.
In the above steps 1041 and 1042, the first position is the position of the first virtual character when the target virtual skill linkage state is set between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character, and the second position is the position of the target second virtual character when the target virtual skill linkage state is set between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character. The second movement track is a track formed by positions passed by the first virtual character when the first virtual character moves from the first position to the second position.
In a specific implementation, the first virtual character is required to move along the second movement track of the target second virtual character, and first, the first virtual character needs to move to the initial position of the second movement track of the target second virtual character, that is, the second position where the target second virtual character is located when the target virtual skill linkage state is set between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character, so that a movement track to be followed when the first virtual character moves is generated between the first position and the second position of the first virtual character, that is, the third movement track. Then, a first movement track of the first virtual character reaching the second target position is generated by combining the second movement track on the basis of the third movement track, and the first movement track is displayed in the graphical user interface.
For example, as shown in fig. 5, the first position of the first virtual character is point a, the second position of the target second virtual character is point B, the second target position is point C, the third movement track is from point a to point B, and the second movement track is from point B to point C, and then the first movement track of the first virtual character is from point a to point B and from point B to point C.
However, sometimes, the second target position to which the second virtual character is moved may be closer to the first virtual character, that is, the distance from the first virtual character to the second target position is far smaller than the distance from the first virtual character to the second target position, where the first virtual character is moved to the second target position, and then the distance from the second target position to the first virtual character is moved to the second target position, even the distance from the first virtual character to the second target position may be smaller than the maximum release distance of the target virtual skill, if the first virtual character moves along the movement track of the second virtual character of the target, more hooking and locking prop is consumed compared with the first virtual character which directly moves to the second target position, so that the hooking and locking prop is wasted, and the control method further includes:
step 1043, if the distance between the second target position and the first position is less than or equal to the maximum release distance of the target virtual skill, generating a first movement track between the first position and the second target position according to the first position and the second target position of the first virtual character.
In step 1043, the maximum release distance of the target virtual skill is the maximum distance that the virtual character can move when using the target virtual character, for example, the target virtual skill is the skill using the hooking device, where the hooking device has a rope, when using the hooking device, the target position that the virtual character needs to reach is determined first, the hooking device sends out the rope, and the rope is used to drive the virtual character to move from the current position to the target position, and the rope corresponds to the maximum distance, that is, the maximum release distance. The target virtual skill may be a specific skill possessed by the virtual character itself, which may be a skill that requires a certain number of certain attribute values (e.g., energy value, blood volume, etc.) of the virtual character to be consumed in order to be released, or may be a skill that the virtual character releases by using virtual props (e.g., hooking props, etc.).
In a specific implementation, if the distance between the second target position and the first position is smaller than or equal to the maximum release distance of the target virtual skill, which means that the first target virtual character can reach the second target position only by consuming certain attribute values or virtual props corresponding to the release target virtual skill once, a connection between the first position and the second target position is determined as a first movement track of the first virtual character to the second target position. The first virtual character does not need to go to the second target position along the second moving track of the target second virtual character, so that consumption corresponding to the release of the target virtual skill by the first virtual character is reduced, and the first virtual character reaches the second target position in a more suitable mode under different conditions through the game mechanism, so that the man-machine interaction efficiency in the game is improved.
For example, as shown in fig. 6, the target virtual skill is a hooking skill, the first position of the first virtual character is a point a, the second position of the target second virtual character is a point B, and the second target position is a point C, where the distance from the point a to the point C is smaller than the maximum release distance for releasing the hooking skill, the second movement track of the target second virtual character is from the point B to the point C, and the first movement track of the first virtual character is directly from the point a to the point C.
If the determined first movement track is smaller than the maximum release distance corresponding to the target virtual skill released by the first virtual character, the first virtual character is not completely moved according to the second movement track of the target second virtual character, so that the movement tracks of the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to the second target position are completely different, the situation that the distance of the first movement track is smaller than the distance of the second movement track possibly occurs, and the first virtual character can reach the second target position before the target second virtual character. It is of course also possible that the distance of the first movement track is larger than the distance of the second movement track, resulting in the first virtual character reaching the second target position later than the target second virtual character. In either case, a time difference occurs between the arrival of the first virtual character and the arrival of the target second virtual character at the second target position, and in the present application, in order to enable the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to perform combat cooperation, it is necessary to eliminate the time difference, that is, the control method of the present application further includes:
Step 105, determining a first arrival time of the first virtual character to the second target position according to the first position of the first virtual character; determining a second arrival time of the target second virtual character at a second target position according to a second position of the target second virtual character when the target second virtual character is set to be in a target virtual skill linkage state;
and step 106, if the first arrival time corresponding to the first virtual character moving later is smaller than the second arrival time corresponding to the second virtual character moving earlier, controlling the second target position to be reached by the second virtual character and the first virtual character simultaneously by taking the first arrival time as a reference.
In step 105, the different release distances corresponding to the target virtual skills all correspond to a time consumption, for example, the time consumption corresponding to the maximum release distance is 2 seconds, and if the release distance is half the maximum release distance, the time consumption is 1 second. Of course, the time consumption may also be determined according to the corresponding moving speed when the virtual character releases the target virtual character, for example, the time consumption is determined according to the ratio of the distance of the moving track to the moving speed.
In the implementation, according to the distance between the first position and the second target position of the first virtual character, the consumed time for the first virtual character to move from the first position to the second target position by using the target virtual skill is determined, and the first arrival time of the first virtual character to the second target position is determined according to the current time of the consumed time. And determining the consumed time of the second virtual character for moving from the second position to the second target position by using the target virtual skill according to the distance between the second position of the second virtual character and the second target position, and determining the second arrival time of the second virtual character at the second target position according to the current moment of the consumed time.
In step 106, when the target virtual skill linkage state is set between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character, the first virtual character moves along with the target second virtual character, so that the first virtual character moves later than the target second virtual character.
In a specific implementation, if the first arrival time corresponding to the first virtual character moving later is smaller than the second arrival time corresponding to the second virtual character moving earlier, it is indicated that the first virtual character arrives at the second target position earlier than the second virtual character. In order to more quickly complete team cooperation of the first virtual character and the target second virtual character, the target second virtual character is controlled to reach the second target position according to the first arrival time of the first virtual character, that is, the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are controlled to reach the second target position at the fastest time.
Because the first virtual character is traveling to the second target location, a certain amount of virtual props are consumed. The control method further includes:
step 107, displaying the number of the currently assembled virtual props of the first virtual character; the first virtual character releasing the target virtual skill based on the virtual prop;
step 108, in the process of controlling the first virtual character to move along the first moving track to the second target position, updating the displayed number of the currently assembled virtual props of the first virtual character based on the consumed number of the virtual props consumed by the first virtual character at one track point in the first moving track when the first virtual character reaches the track point.
In the above steps 107 and 108, the number of virtual props currently equipped by the first virtual character is displayed on the first terminal device used by the target player. In the process that the first virtual character uses the virtual prop to release the target virtual skill, the number of virtual props consumed by the first virtual character is determined according to the movement distance corresponding to the first virtual character, if the distance of the first movement track is smaller than the maximum release distance of the target virtual skill, the first virtual character can consume one virtual prop along the first movement track to reach the second target position (wherein, as long as the target virtual skill is released, at least one virtual prop is consumed, and even if the movement distance corresponding to the released target virtual skill is smaller than the maximum release distance, one virtual prop is consumed). If the distance between the current first position of the first virtual character and the second target position is greater than the maximum release distance, the first virtual character needs to continuously release the target virtual skills in order to timely move along with the target second virtual character, so that in the moving process of the first virtual character, a corresponding number of virtual props are consumed in real time according to the moving distance of the first virtual character in the first moving track, that is, in the moving process of the first virtual character, according to the first moving track of the first virtual character, the distance that the first virtual character has travelled is calculated in real time at each track point, whether one target virtual prop is to be consumed is determined according to the distance, and the number of the virtual props of the first virtual character displayed in the graphical user interface is updated every time when one virtual prop is consumed, so that a target player can know the consumption condition of the virtual props of the target player in real time. The situation that the virtual prop is suddenly unbundled in the process of moving along with the target second virtual character by the first virtual character is reduced, so that the target player can make preparation in advance.
After the first virtual role and the target second virtual role are bound, the first virtual role and the target second virtual role cannot be bound together all the time, and if the first virtual role and the target second virtual role are bound together all the time, mutual injury among teammates can be caused when teammates cooperate, so that the first virtual role and the target second virtual role need to be unbindd in time, namely, the control method of the application further comprises the following steps:
and step 109, when the first virtual character is controlled to move to the second target position along the first moving track and reaches the second target position, canceling the target virtual skill linkage state of the first virtual character and the target second virtual character.
In step 109, as long as the first virtual character reaches the second target position where the target second virtual character stays, it may be stated that the first virtual character completes following with the target second virtual character, and in order to reduce injury to the other party caused by binding together the two virtual characters when the team cooperates, therefore, when the first virtual character reaches the second target position, unbinding can be performed between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character in time.
Since the target second avatar moves using the target virtual skill and the target virtual skill corresponds to a maximum release distance, the target second avatar may not reach its own desired final destination using a hook lock and may need to release the target virtual skill more than twice to reach its own desired final destination, i.e., the first avatar follows the target second avatar to reach the second target position reached by the first target virtual skill release, and thus step 109 includes:
and step 1091, if the target second virtual character continues to release the target virtual skill within a preset time period after the target second virtual character reaches the second target position, maintaining a target virtual skill linkage state of the first virtual character and the target second virtual character.
In the step 1091, if the target second virtual character reaches a second target position, the target virtual skill is released to go to another second target position within a short time, which means that the target second virtual character does not reach its final destination, and further needs to continue moving, if the first virtual character and the target second virtual character cancel the target virtual skill linkage state at this time, the first virtual character may not keep up with the target second virtual character, and further the team cooperation is affected, so the application determines the stay time of the target second virtual character at the second target position, if the stay time is longer, which means that the target second virtual character does not move a long distance any more, and if the first virtual character reaches the second target position, the target virtual skill linkage state is cancelled; if the stay time is short and the target virtual skill is released again, the target second virtual character is indicated to move a long distance, and the linkage state of the target virtual skill is not canceled.
In the step 1091, the cancellation of the target virtual skill linkage state between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character is controlled by the target second virtual character, and the first virtual character may need to be actively unbindd during the process of maintaining the target virtual skill linkage state, so that the process of maintaining the target virtual skill linkage state by the first virtual character and the target second virtual character further includes:
and step 1092, if the target second virtual character reaches the second target position within the preset time period, responding that the target second virtual character does not release the target virtual skill again, but the first virtual character releases the target virtual skill again, and canceling the target virtual skill linkage state of the first virtual character and the target second virtual character.
In the step 1092, in the process that the first virtual character and the target second virtual character keep the target virtual skill linkage state, the first virtual character may have some other requirement and cannot continue to move along with the target second virtual character, so that the target player can release the target position determined by the target virtual skill by adjusting the first virtual character and does not move along with the target second virtual character any more, at this time, the first target virtual character has no intention of following the target second virtual character, the target virtual skill linkage state between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character is cancelled, and the man-machine interaction mode in the game is increased.
A plurality of second virtual characters may be included in the game scene, and the target second virtual character needs to be determined in the plurality of second virtual characters through a selection operation, where the selection operation may include multiple modes, and different modes may also correspond to different deselection modes.
The first mode comprises the following steps:
step 1021, responding to the triggering operation of the target player corresponding to the specific control for the target virtual skill of the first virtual character, and displaying the character identification of the second virtual character;
step 1022, in response to a selection operation of the target player for the target character identifier in the character identifiers, setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character indicated by the target character identifier to be in a target virtual skill linkage state;
the control method further includes: step 1023, in response to the end of the triggering operation, cancelling the character identification of the second virtual character.
In the steps 1021 to 1023, the target virtual skill correspondence specific control is configured to display, in the graphical user interface, the character identifier of the second virtual character capable of setting the linkage state of the target virtual skill with the first virtual character through the triggering operation, where the target virtual skill correspondence specific control may be a skill release control (for controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill) corresponding to the target virtual skill, or may be a designated control set in the target graphical user interface, such as the linkage control mentioned above. The triggering operation may be any one or more of the following operations: click operations, slide operations, etc. And if the triggering operation is a clicking operation, controlling the graphical user interface to display a second virtual character through a first clicking operation (the starting of the triggering operation) of the specific control corresponding to the target virtual skill, and controlling the graphical user interface to cancel the character identification of the second virtual character through a second clicking operation (the ending of the triggering operation) of the specific control corresponding to the target virtual skill. And if the trigger operation is a sliding operation, controlling the graphical user interface to display the character identification of the second virtual character through starting the sliding operation of the specific control corresponding to the target virtual skill, and controlling the graphical user interface to cancel displaying the character identification of the second virtual character through ending the sliding operation of the specific control corresponding to the target virtual skill.
In the implementation, through triggering operation of the target player on the specific control corresponding to the target virtual skill, character identifiers of a plurality of second virtual characters can be displayed in the graphical user interface, one target character identifier is selected from the character identifiers of the plurality of second virtual characters through selecting operation, and the second virtual character corresponding to the target character identifier is used as the target second virtual character. If character identifiers of a plurality of second virtual characters are always displayed in the graphical user interface, a game picture can be covered, and the man-machine interaction efficiency is reduced. The character identification of the second virtual character displayed in the graphical user interface may be cancelled at the end of the triggering operation.
The second way comprises:
step 1024, responding to the target second virtual character to release the target virtual skill, and displaying the target character identification of the target second virtual character;
step 1025, responding to the selection operation of the target player aiming at the target character identification, and setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character indicated by the target character identification as a target virtual skill linkage state;
the control method further includes: and 1026, canceling displaying the target character identifier of the target second virtual character in response to the target second virtual character reaching the second target position to meet the preset duration.
In the above steps 1024-1026, if there is a second avatar releasing the target virtual skill in the game scene, the second avatar releasing the target virtual skill is determined as a target second avatar (there may be a plurality of second avatars releasing the target virtual skill), and the target character identification of the target second avatar is displayed in the graphic user interface, and the target player selects the target character identification of the target avatar setting the target virtual skill linkage state with the first avatar through the selection operation. In the target virtual skill linkage state, a target role identifier of a target second virtual role is always displayed in a graphical user interface, a target player is prompted that the current first virtual role is in the target virtual skill linkage state, if the target second virtual role reaches a second target position to meet the preset duration, the first virtual role and the target second virtual role reach a final destination and do not need to follow movement, the target virtual skill linkage state is canceled, meanwhile, the target role identifier of the target second virtual role is canceled to be displayed, and the target player is prompted to be no longer in the target virtual skill linkage state.
The above description is made on how the first virtual character moves when in the target virtual skill linkage state, and the first virtual character can also move using the target virtual skill when in the non-target virtual skill linkage state, and the control method further includes:
step 110, responding to the control operation of a target player aiming at the target virtual skill of the first virtual character, determining a first target position in the game scene, and generating and displaying a fourth movement track between the first virtual character and the first target position;
and step 111, controlling the first virtual character to move towards the first target position along the fourth moving track.
In the above steps 110 to 111, the control operation of the target player on the target virtual skill of the first virtual character refers to the operation of the target player controlling the first virtual character to use the target virtual skill, and the fourth movement trajectory is a movement trajectory that uses the target virtual skill to reach the first target position when the first virtual character is in the non-target virtual skill linkage state, and the first target position is a position determined by using the target virtual skill when the first virtual character is in the non-target virtual skill linkage state.
In specific implementation, in response to the control operation of the target player on the target virtual skill of the first virtual character, that is, in the non-target virtual skill linkage state, the target player determines a first target position in the game scene through the control on the first virtual character, and generates and displays a fourth movement track between the first virtual character and the first target position, and simultaneously controls the first virtual character to move towards the first target position along the fourth movement track.
Based on the above, two embodiments of the present application exist in the execution sequence of step S102 and step S103, and for each embodiment, the present application provides two trigger conditions for controlling the first avatar to release the target virtual skill.
For the first embodiment, when step S102 is performed before step S103 is performed, controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill includes:
(1) After setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to a target virtual skill linkage state, the control method further includes:
and step 112, controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill while the target second virtual character releases the target virtual skill.
In the above step 112, after the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to the target virtual skill linkage state, it is described that the first virtual character can move along with the target second virtual character at this time. In order to achieve the following as soon as possible, the following distance between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character is shortened, and the target virtual skill can be released by the target second virtual character and simultaneously the target virtual skill can be controlled to be released by the first virtual character.
(2) After setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to a target virtual skill linkage state, the control method further includes:
step 113, displaying a first following control in a graphical user interface while the target virtual skill is released by the target second virtual character;
and step 114, controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill in response to the triggering operation for the first following control.
In the above steps 113 and 114, the first virtual character following the target second virtual character using the target virtual skill is just a game strategy in a game, and even if the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to the target virtual skill linkage state, there may be a case where the first virtual character does not need to follow the target second virtual character, for example, a case where the first virtual character is fighting and is about to acquire a win. Thus, whether or not to control the first avatar to follow the target second avatar is controllable by the target player himself.
In a specific implementation, after the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to be in a target virtual skill linkage state, and the target second virtual character releases a target virtual skill, which indicates that the first virtual character can move along with the target second virtual character by using the target release skill, at this time, a first following control is displayed in a graphical user interface, and the first following control can prompt a target player that the current first virtual character can move along with the target second virtual character by using the target release skill, and also can realize controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill by using the target player to realize moving along with the target second virtual character through touch operation of the target player on the first following control.
For the second embodiment, when step S103 and step S102 are simultaneously performed, controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill includes:
(1) The control method further includes: and 115, responding to the target second virtual character to release the target virtual skill, and simultaneously setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to be in a target virtual skill linkage state, and controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill.
In the step 115, the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to be in a target virtual skill linkage state, which indicates that the first virtual character can move along with the target second virtual character, and the target second virtual character releases the target virtual skill at the same time, which indicates that the target second virtual character is about to move quickly, so as to achieve the following as soon as possible, shorten the following distance between the first virtual character and the target second virtual character, and control the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill while the target second virtual character releases the target virtual skill, thereby achieving the movement of the first virtual character along with the target second virtual character.
(2) The control method further includes:
step 116, responding to the target second virtual character to release target virtual skills, and simultaneously setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to be in a target virtual skill linkage state, and displaying a second following control in a graphical user interface;
and step 117, controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill in response to the triggering operation for the second following control.
In the above steps 116 and 117, the first virtual character following the target second virtual character using the target virtual skill is just a game strategy in a game, and even if the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to the target virtual skill linkage state, there may be a case where the first virtual character does not need to follow the target second virtual character, for example, a case where the first virtual character is fighting and is about to acquire a win. Thus, whether or not to control the first avatar to follow the target second avatar is controllable by the target player himself.
In a specific implementation, when the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to be in a target virtual skill linkage state, and the target second virtual character releases target virtual skills, it is indicated that the first virtual character can move along with the target second virtual character by using the target release skills, at this time, a second following control is displayed in a graphical user interface, and the second following control can prompt a target player that the current first virtual character can move along with the target second virtual character by using the target release skills, or can realize control of the first virtual character to release the target virtual skills by using touch operation of the target player on the second following control, so as to realize movement along with the target second virtual character.
For the third embodiment, when step S103 is performed before step S102 is performed, controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill includes:
(1) In the process of controlling the target second virtual character to move to the second target position along the second moving track, the control method further comprises the following steps:
step 118, while setting the first virtual character and the target second virtual character to a target virtual skill linkage state, displaying a third following control in a graphical user interface;
And step 119, controlling the first virtual character to release the target virtual skill in response to the triggering operation for the third following control.
In the above steps 118 and 119, the first virtual character following the target second virtual character using the target virtual skill is just a game strategy in a game, and even if the first virtual character and the target second virtual character are set to the target virtual skill linkage state, there may be a case where the first virtual character does not need to follow the target second virtual character, for example, a case where the first virtual character is fighting and is about to acquire a win.
