Description

Display module
Technical Field
The application belongs to the technical field of display screens, and particularly relates to a module for shielding and isolating a display screen.
Background
The display screen component and the independent circuit board need to be insulated and isolated from the metal shell so as to reduce the interference of external signals on the display screen. In addition, the installation strength of the display screen assembly and the independent circuit board needs to be ensured while the insulation and isolation effects are achieved. Particularly, in a wide-temperature working environment, the problem of fixing the long circuit board by thermal expansion and cold contraction needs to be guaranteed.
Most of the prior display screens do not perform shielding and isolation treatment.
And for the problem of insulation of the circuit board from the metal housing: the back of the circuit board is generally made into an insulating device, or the shell is made into an insulating piece, and the insulating piece is connected with the shell through a screw. But are limited by certain circuit board designs, costs, or general-purpose components, some circuit boards cannot be made as insulating devices. The housing is made into an insulating device, and in certain occasions with high strength requirements and strict shielding requirements, the requirements are not met.
In addition, as shown in fig. 8, the back of the circuit board is isolated from the back plate by an insulating tape, and then the circuit board is locked by a screw penetrating through an annular insulating boss, and the annular boss is isolated from the circuit board in an insulating way. This solution has mainly two drawbacks:
1. when the screw is locked and attached to the back plate, the length of the screw is limited by the thickness of the back plate, and the locking strength is insufficient. Or as in fig. 9, the need to rivet nuts or to machine internally threaded posts on the back plate increases the thickness of the product.
2. The locking hole of the circuit board needs to be matched with the insulation boss, and the clearance is smaller. Because the locking circuit board generally exceeds two screws, after the two screws are locked, the expansion amount of the circuit board can not be released when the circuit board is thermally expanded, so that the circuit board is subjected to bow-shaped buckling deformation, and the safety of the circuit board is influenced.
Therefore, how to ensure the shielding and isolation of the display screen assembly and the independent circuit board and the mounting strength is a problem in the prior art.

It will be appreciated that the shield fingers encapsulate the display screen 20 assembly and the individual circuit board within a single electrical conductor, and that the ground isolation fingers prevent the display screen 20 assembly and the individual circuit board from electrically conductive connection with an external electrical conductor, thereby forming an electrically conductive isolation.
It is understood that the display 20 assembly may be a pure display 20 assembly, and a display 20 assembly with touch control, shielding, heating, etc. functions. The display screen 20 assembly includes an LCD glass 202, a display screen 20, led driver circuits, TP driver circuits, and the like, and a backlight, with the LCD glass 202 being insulated.
It should be understood that, the independent circuit board is a circuit board that is not connected to the LCD glass 202, and includes a circuit board such as an LED driving circuit, a signal control circuit, a power control circuit, etc., which has electrical properties and is a circuit board for controlling the whole circuit, and the structure of the independent circuit board is not limited, and the independent circuit board is different from the LCD circuit board of the display screen 20 assembly in this embodiment. That is, the shielding and ground isolation function of the present embodiment can realize not only shielding and ground isolation of the LCD glass 202 constituting the display screen 20 assembly but also shielding and ground isolation of a separate circuit board not connected to the display screen 20 assembly. The structure of the individual circuit boards is not particularly limited, and thus the individual circuit boards are not separately indicated in the drawings, and it is understood that the shielding and ground isolation of the individual circuit boards are the same as those of the LCD circuit boards.
The surface of the LCD circuit board or the separate circuit board has the electronic component 2021, one end having the electronic component 2021 is away from the housing 10, and the other end not having the electronic component 2021 is attached to the housing 10.
It should be noted that, the housing 10 is a frame of the whole display module, and other components are directly or indirectly fixed through the housing 10. The housing 10 is made of a metal material or a conductive material. Other housing 10 structures, such as the peripheral portion of the housing 10, the fixing portion of the housing 10, and the flat plate portion of the housing 10, are all connected together, which is not shown in the present schematic view. The peripheral portion of the housing 10 is a peripheral structure, and the glass shielding assembly 70 is connected with the peripheral portion of the housing 10 in an annular conductive sealing manner as the exterior of the display module.
The shielding case 30 is made of a metal material or a conductive material, including cold rolled steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and the like.
The fixing portion of the housing 10 is formed by protruding a flat plate portion of the housing 10 for fixing the shield case 30. The fixing portion of the housing 10 may be provided in one or more as needed.
The housing 10 and the shielding case 30 serve to shield and isolate the LCD circuit board or the separate circuit board from each other. The display screen 20 assembly and the individual circuit boards therein are shielded and isolated from ground by the sealed space formed by the housing 10, the glass shield assembly 70 and the shield can 30.
Further, as shown in fig. 1, the fixing portion of the housing 10 is fixedly connected with the connection hole of the shielding case 30 through a locking member 104, the fixing portion of the housing 10 and the shielding case 30 form a conductive cavity 80, and the LCD circuit board and the independent circuit board are disposed in the conductive cavity 80 and shielded and isolated.
It will be appreciated that the housing 10 securing portion is formed by a flat plate portion of the housing 10 protruding for mounting and securing the shield 30. And the space surrounded by the fixing portion of the housing 10, the shielding case 30 and the flat plate portion of the housing 10 forms a conductive cavity 80, one end of the lcd circuit board or the separate circuit board having the electronic component 2021 is in the conductive cavity 80, and the electronic component 2021 is also shielded in the conductive cavity 80.
The fixing portion of the housing 10 has a boss, and a top end of the boss has a concave hole formed downward, and the concave hole accommodates a fastener. The locking member 104 is any component that can be connected by a bolt, a screw, a rivet, or the like.
The boss may be integrally formed with the housing 10, or may be fixed to a fixing portion of the housing 10 by caulking, welding, or the like. The boss is made of the same metal or conductive material as the housing 10, including steel, copper, aluminum, etc. The boss forms an integrated conductive cavity 80 with the fastener and the shielding member through the conductive effect, so as to ensure the shielding effect.
As another possible embodiment, as shown in fig. 6 to 7, the housing 10 has a plurality of housing 10 fixing portions with different heights, and the shielding case 30 is connected and fixed to the plurality of housing 10 fixing portions with different heights, so that the structure of the shielding case 30 is changed.
Further, as shown in fig. 3, the flat plate portion of the housing 10 is provided with an annular concave hole 105 and a positioning pin 106, the annular boss 50 is disposed in the annular concave hole 105 through the positioning pin 106, the size of the annular boss 50 corresponds to that of the annular concave hole 105, the positioning hole 2022 of the LCD circuit board or the independent circuit board passes through the annular boss 50, and the annular boss 50 is insulated.
The positioning pin 106 is located at the center of the annular groove 401. The annular boss 50 is a member having a through hole penetrating through the annular boss 50 at the center, and the positioning pin 106 limits the annular boss 50. The size of the annular groove 401 is slightly larger than that of the annular boss 50, so that the annular boss 50 can be smoothly placed in the annular groove 401 without wrinkling, and a better insulating effect on a circuit board can be achieved.
The positioning hole 2022 has a size slightly larger than the outer peripheral size of the annular boss 50, so that the bottom of the circuit board is closely attached to the annular boss 50 and the flat plate portion of the housing 10, thereby achieving the optimal insulation effect.
It should be noted that, the annular boss 50 is positioned on the LCD circuit board and the independent circuit board, and 1 or more annular bosses 50 may be provided as needed. If the circuit board is longer and needs to work in an environment with a larger temperature difference, a plurality of annular bosses 50 can be arranged, and 1 center positioning boss is arranged at the center position, so that the circuit board can conveniently extend to two sides. The annular boss 50 is made of an insulating material, so as to insulate the circuit board. Materials with good insulating properties and strength such as nylon or polytetrafluoroethylene can be adopted.
Further, as shown in fig. 4, the LCD panel further includes an insulating elastic body 40, one end of the insulating elastic body 40 is fixed to the shielding case 30, and the other end of the insulating elastic body 40 presses the LCD panel or the separate panel.
It will be appreciated that slight play may occur due to the clearance fit between the annular groove 401, the annular boss 50, the locating hole 2022, and the locating pin 106. The insulating elastic body 40 is provided to limit the annular boss 50, the positioning hole 2022, and the positioning pin 106.
It will be appreciated that the insulating elastomer 40 is made of an elastic material, preferably a material such as silicone, rubber, or soft plastic. By elastic deformation of the elastic material, the shape of the elastic material can be changed along with the shapes of the extruded annular boss 50, the positioning hole 2022 and the positioning pin 106, so that the elastic material is in close contact with each other, and a better limiting effect is achieved. Meanwhile, the problem of poor extrusion effect caused by the problem of processing precision can be solved. Meanwhile, the insulating elastic body 40 is also used because it does not generate stress concentration when pressing the circuit board so as not to cause damage to the circuit board.
It is understood that the insulating elastic body 40 may be distributed in 2 or more pieces according to the size of the circuit board.
In order to prevent the insulating elastic body 40 from losing the compression effect due to the play, the end of the insulating elastic body 40 away from the annular boss 50 is fixedly connected to the shield case 30.
Further, as shown in fig. 1-4, the insulating elastomer 40 is fixed to the shielding case 30 by attaching or clamping.
Further, as shown in fig. 1-4, the locking is that a groove 401 is provided at an end of the insulating elastomer 40 away from the annular boss 50, the shielding case 30 has a protrusion, and the groove 401 and the protrusion form the locking.
It will be appreciated that the shape of the recess 401 corresponds to the shape of the protrusion to ensure the positive locking effect. For example, when the protrusions are triangular, the grooves 401 are also triangular; when the protrusions are square, the grooves 401 are also square; when the protrusions are spheres, the grooves 401 are also spheres.
Further, as shown in fig. 1, insulating tapes 60 are disposed between the housing 10 and the circuit board, and between the annular boss 50 and the circuit board.
The insulating tape 60 is a single-sided tape having good insulating properties. With the above arrangement, the circuit board is in contact with only the annular boss 50, the insulating elastic body 40, and the insulating tape 60, thereby achieving isolation from the housing 10.
By the above arrangement, the fixing portion of the housing 10, the flat plate portion of the housing 10, the shielding case 30, the annular boss 50, the insulating elastic body 40, and the insulating tape 60 together perform fixing, shielding and isolating functions on the LCD circuit board or the individual circuits.
Further, as shown in fig. 1, the housing 10 further includes a housing 10 abdicating portion, the housing 10 abdicating portion is formed by rotationally extending the housing 10 fixing portion to two sides, the slot 108 is a middle gap between the housing 10 abdicating portion and the peripheral portion of the housing 10, and the flexible flat cable 203 passes through the slot 108.
It will be appreciated that, in order to accommodate the flexible flat cable 203, the slot 108 is provided in the structure of the housing 10, and the slot 108 can reduce the wobble of the flexible flat cable 203, and protect the flexible flat cable 203 from breakage or loosening of the interface caused by collision or the like while accommodating the flexible flat cable 203.
The yielding part of the shell 10 is the material reduction avoidance of the shell 10, and an auxiliary material can be used for protecting the soft flat cable 203, and the auxiliary material is soft material comprising rubber, plastic and the like, so that the damage to the soft flat cable 203 caused by shaking can be better reduced.
The relief portion of the housing 10 is not in contact with the LCD screen.
Further, as shown in fig. 5, the glass shielding assembly 70 includes shielding glass 703, a touch functional sheet 704, and cover glass 705 that are sequentially attached; the part of the surface of the shielding glass 703, which is not in contact with the LCD glass 202, is provided with a conductive adhesive or an elastic conductor, and the peripheral part of the housing 10 is electrically connected with the conductive layer 701, so as to realize annular conductive sealing.
The shielding glass 703, the touch functional sheet 704, and the cover glass 705 are bonded by the bonding adhesive 702, and the bonding adhesive 702 is transparent and insulating. The shielding glass 703 is used for shielding, the touch functional sheet 704 is used for forming a touch screen, and the cover glass 705 is used for protecting each functional level component.
As one possible implementation, the laminating adhesive 702 is a transparent heat-conducting adhesive, and the heat-conducting adhesive can timely conduct the heat of the component to the outside while realizing lamination and fixation, so that the component is prevented from being overheated.
The shielding glass 703, the touch functional sheet 704, and the cover glass 705 may further include a heating layer, a wave plate layer, an antireflection layer, or the like. The heating layer can heat the LCD 20 at too low a temperature, the slide layer is in the polarization state of light, and the antireflection layer is in the reflection of light, so as to improve the light transmission.
The surface of the shielding glass 703 is provided with conductive glue or elastic conductor at a position contacting with the peripheral part of the housing 10, and the conductive glue or elastic conductor is tightly contacted with the peripheral part of the housing 10 to form conductive seal, so that the conductive cavity 80 formed with the housing 10 plays a role in shielding the internal components thereof.
Further, as shown in fig. 1, the LCD glass 202 is fixedly connected with the shielding glass 703 through the adhesive 702, the LCD glass 202 is not in contact with the housing 10, and the shielding glass 703 is glass with one side coated with an ITO film or with metal wires.
The surface of the shielding glass 703 contacting the LCD glass 202 is provided with an ITO film or metal wires, and the ITO film and the metal wires function to conduct electricity.
The LCD glass 202 is not in contact with the housing 10 (including the housing 10 abdication portion), and is bonded and fixed to the shielding glass 703 only by the bonding adhesive 702. The beneficial effect of this arrangement is that the LCD glass 202 is only attached to the glass shield assembly 70, and is in non-contact or non-conductive connection with the housing 10, resulting in a better isolation.
In view of the above, the shielding and isolation principle of the present embodiment is:
implementation of the display screen 20 assembly and independent circuit board shielding: the display screen 20 assembly and the individual circuit boards are sandwiched by the glass shield assembly 70, the conductive housing 10 and the shield can 30 (resembling a 5-layer sandwich structure), and the shield glass 703 is electrically conductive to the housing 10 at a first seal a where it contacts. With respect to the LCD glass 202, one side of the LCD glass 202 is sealed by the glass shielding member 70, and the LCD glass 202 is sealed by the back plate portion of the flat plate portion of the housing 10 another time, and the upper, lower, left and right circumferences are sealed by the peripheral portion of the housing 10. For the flex 203, the side plates 301 of the shield 30 and the peripheral portion of the housing 10 seal, and the relief portion of the housing 10 covers the slot 108 to form a seal for the flex 203. For the LCD circuit board or the separate circuit board, sealing is formed by the shield case 30 and the flat plate portion of the housing 10 and the fixing portion of the housing 10. The entire display screen 20 assembly and the individual circuit boards are thus sealed within a closed conductive cavity 80.
Implementation of the isolation of the display screen 20 assembly and the individual circuit boards: for the LCD glass 202, the LCD glass 202 and the shielding glass 703 are adhered by the insulating adhesive 702, and the LCD glass 202 and the housing 10 are in a suspended state, so that a non-contact state or a non-conductive contact state is achieved, and the LCD glass 202 and the housing 10 are insulated. For the flexible flat cable 203, it is also in a suspended state of non-mechanical contact and non-conductive contact with the housing 10, so that the flexible flat cable 203 is insulated from the housing 10.
