Description

Packaging structure for wiper blade
Technical Field
A packaging structure for a wiper blade has been proposed, wherein the packaging structure has an outer packaging structure made of cardboard and a housing made of plastic for housing the wiper blade. The receiving housing (or also referred to as "cover") is configured loosely with respect to the outer packaging structure.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention is based on a packaging structure, in particular a sales packaging structure, for a wiper blade, in particular for a single wiper blade, alternatively for a plurality of wiper blades, having at least one outer packaging structure and at least one support part provided for carrying at least the wiper blade in the outer packaging structure.
It is proposed that the support part has at least one adhesive region on at least one side, in particular at least one outer surface, in which the support part is connected, in particular glued, to the outer packaging structure in a material-fitting manner.
A "wiper blade" is to be understood in particular as a part of a windscreen wiper. The wiper blade has in particular at least one wiper strip (also referred to as a wiper rubber), which is preferably provided for being pulled over a pane, in particular a vehicle pane, for example a windshield, in order to remove liquid, in particular rain and/or dirt, therefrom. In particular, the wiper blade has at least one wiper blade adapter for connecting the wiper blade to the wiper arm, wherein the wiper arm is provided in particular for transmitting the movement of the wiper motor to the wiper blade.
The support part is provided in particular for separating the wiper blade, in particular at least the wiper strip, from the outer packaging structure. In particular, the support part is provided for avoiding friction and/or squeezing of the wiper strip against the outer packaging structure during transport and/or storage of the product with the packaging structure and the wiper blade arranged therein.
Preferably the support member is attached to the inner surface of the outer packaging structure. In particular, the support part is connected to the outer packaging structure by means of a biodegradable adhesive. In particular the adhesive region extends along at least substantially the entire longitudinal extension of the side face of the support member. Alternatively, it is conceivable for the support part to have a plurality of adhesive regions that are separate from one another, in particular on the same side, in order to connect the support part to the outer packaging structure. Furthermore, the support part can have at least one additional adhesive region which is arranged on a further side of the support part than the side, in particular on the outer surface, and on which the support part is connected in a material-fitting manner to the outer packaging structure.
The design according to the invention of the packaging structure makes it possible in particular to achieve a secure hold in the outer packaging structure.
The support member may extend at least substantially the entire length of the overwrap structure. The "length" of the outer packaging structure here refers in particular to the extension of the outer packaging structure along the longitudinal extension direction of the outer packaging structure in the closed state of the packaging structure. By the support part extending "at least substantially" over the length of the outer packaging structure is understood in particular that the support part has a length, in particular along the longitudinal extension, which corresponds to at least 90%, in particular at least 95%, preferably at least 98% of the length of the outer packaging structure.
In particular, a safer storage of the wiper blade in the outer packaging structure can be achieved thereby.
According to a further embodiment, it is conceivable for the support part to extend only over a part of the length of the outer packaging structure, in particular over at most 80%, for example at most 50%.
According to a further embodiment, it is provided that the packaging structure has at least one second support part, which has at least one further adhesive region on at least one side, in which the support part is connected in a material-fitting manner to the outer packaging structure.
In particular, the support element and the further support element each extend over at most 30%, for example at most 20%, advantageously at most 10% of the length of the outer packaging structure.
In particular, a saving in material and/or an improved retention can be achieved thereby.
It is furthermore proposed that the support element and the further support element are arranged on opposite, preferably longitudinal, side ends of the outer packaging structure. In particular, the support parts are each arranged at most 20%, in particular at most 10%, for example at most 5%, advantageously at most 2%, away from the longitudinal side end of the outer packaging structure.
In particular, a firm hold can be achieved thereby.
Alternatively or additionally, it is conceivable that the support parts each have a minimum distance from the nearest longitudinal side end of the outer packaging structure, which corresponds to at least 10% of the length of the outer packaging structure.
It is furthermore proposed to fix the support element and the further support element on the same inner side of the outer packaging structure.
In particular, a firm hold can be achieved thereby.
The first support component and the second support component can be spaced from each other by at least 50% of the length of the overwrap structure.
In particular, material savings can be achieved in this way.
It is furthermore proposed that at least the support part is formed from a biodegradable material. By "biodegradable material" is understood in particular a material which at least partially, preferably completely disintegrates in composting and/or prolonged contact with water for less than 5 years, in particular less than 2 years, preferably less than 1 year and can then enter the biological cycle in particular without hesitation.
In particular, an environmentally friendly design can be achieved thereby.
For example, the support member is formed of a paper-like material. A paper-like material is understood to mean, in particular, a flat material made of pressed plant fibers and/or plant fiber suspensions, in particular cellulose. In particular, the paper-like material is embodied as cardboard, paperboard or paper. In particular, the outer packaging structure is also based on biodegradable materials, in particular paper-like materials.
In particular, a cost-effective design can be achieved in this way.
At least the support member is preferably formed of a flat material. In particular, the flat material has a series of bends along which the flat material is folded in order to form the support element. In particular, the support element encloses at least one hollow dead zone within the packaging structure. Flat materials are understood to mean in particular materials having a thickness of less than 5mm, in particular less than 2mm, preferably less than 1 mm.
In particular, a material-saving design can be achieved in this way.
It is also proposed that the support part has a U-shaped profile, in particular in cross section. In particular, a recess is formed between the outlet ends of the U-shaped profile, which recess is provided for receiving the wiper strip. In particular, the U-shaped outlet end forms a support surface on which the base body of the wiper blade is supported.
Furthermore, a product is proposed, comprising a packaging structure as described above and a wiper blade, which is arranged in a packaging structure interior formed by the packaging structure. The packaging structure may be a wiper blade packaging structure. The packaging structure may be a sales packaging structure in which the wiper blade is provided for sales, in particular retail sales.
A method for producing a packaging structure as described above is also proposed, according to which the support part is connected, in particular glued, to the outer packaging structure in a material-fitting manner.
The support part can be folded from a flat material before it is connected to the outer packaging structure.
Furthermore, it is proposed that in the production method, the outer packaging structure is provided as a flat material with folds, wherein the support part is connected to the flat material between two folds in the folds.
After the support part has been connected to the flat material of the outer packaging structure, the flat material of the outer packaging structure can be folded and form-fitted and/or material-fitted to form the outer packaging structure, which encloses an interior space in which at least the support part is arranged, and wherein a receiving region for receiving the wiper blade is formed between the support part and the outer packaging structure.
The packaging structure according to the invention, the product according to the invention and the method of manufacture according to the invention should not be limited to the applications and embodiments described above. In particular, the packaging structure according to the invention, the product according to the invention and the method of manufacture according to the invention may have a different number of individual elements, components and units and method steps than described here in order to carry out the functions described here. Furthermore, within the numerical ranges described in this disclosure, numerical values within the limits are also considered to be disclosed and may be arbitrarily employed.

The support member 30a and the further support member are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal extension direction 50 by at least 50% of the length of the outer packaging structure 20 a.
The support member 30 is formed of a biodegradable material. The support member 30 is formed of a paper-like material. The support member 30 is formed of cardboard. The support part 30 may have a coating which in particular reduces the surface roughness of the support part 30 in order to reduce the friction of the wiper strip 16 of the wiper blade 14 on the support part 30 (see fig. 6).
The support member 30 has a U-shaped profile and/or a V-shaped profile, in particular in cross section. The support element 30 can be embodied here as a hollow prism, in particular with a U-shaped or V-shaped cross section. The support member 30 may form a closed profile as shown in fig. 2 to 4 or an open profile as shown in fig. 5 to 8. For example, the support members 30 may be formed as sections of flat material folded into a corrugated or zig-zag profile.
As an alternative to a design made of folded flat material, the support member may be formed of a compression molded material, in particular of a cellulose and/or starch based polymer.
After the support part 30 has been connected with the flat material of the outer packaging structure 20, the flat material is folded and forms the outer packaging structure 20 in a form-and/or material-fitting manner (see fig. 5). Where the flat material of the outer packaging structure 20 is folded around the support members 30. The presently existing overwrap structure 20 forms an elongated tube having at least one open end.
The outer packaging structure 20 here encloses an interior space in which at least the support element 30 is arranged. A receiving region for receiving the wiper blade 14 is formed between the support part 30 and the outer packaging structure 20.
After manufacturing the packaging structure 12, the packaging structure 12 is filled with a wiper blade 14 (see fig. 6 and 7). The wiper blade 14 is inserted into the packaging structure 12 in such a way that the wiper strip 16 of the wiper blade 14 is guided in the recess 34 of the support part 30. The wiper strip 16 is preferably arranged at least substantially unloaded in the recess 34. The base body of the wiper blade 14, in particular at least the end cap of the wiper blade 14, has bearing surfaces which are provided for bearing on the bearing surfaces 36 of the bearing component 30. The support surface 36 preferably abuts the surface of the support member 30 forming the recess 34.
After filling the packaging structure 12, the closure tab of the packaging structure 12 is folded so as to close the longitudinal side ends of the packaging structure 12 and form the product 10 (see fig. 8 and 9). The first longitudinal side end of the packaging structure 12 may have been closed before being filled by the wiper blade 14.
