Abstract
The invention provides a straddle-type vehicle, which can improve the mounting strength of a rear steering lamp and can inhibit mud and water scattered from a rear wheel from adhering to the rear steering lamp during running. A saddle-riding type vehicle (1) is provided with a body frame (5), rear wheels (9), a saddle (10), a tail cover (11), and a rear turn signal (4). The body frame (5) includes a seat frame (17) made of metal. The rear wheel (9) is mounted to the vehicle body frame (5). The rear wheel (9) is disposed below the seat frame (17). The saddle (10) is disposed on the upper part of the saddle frame (17). The tail cover (11) is arranged below the saddle frame (17). The tail cover (11) is mounted on the saddle frame (17). The rear turn signal (4) is mounted to the seat frame (17) between the seat (10) and the tail cover (11).

Technical Field
The present invention relates to a saddle-ride type vehicle.
Background
Patent document 1 discloses a saddle-ride type vehicle. The saddle-ride type vehicle includes a body frame, a rear fender made of resin, rear wheels, and rear turn signals. The vehicle body frame includes a metal seat frame. The rear wheels are mounted to the body frame. The rear fender is mounted to the seat frame. The rear wheel is disposed below the seat frame. The rear steering lamp is mounted to the rear fender.

Disclosure of Invention
In a conventional saddle-ride type vehicle, since the rear fender is formed of resin, there is a possibility that the strength of mounting the rear turn signal to the rear fender is insufficient. In addition, since the rear turn signal is attached to the rear fender, mud and water scattered from the rear wheel during running may adhere to the rear turn signal.
The invention provides a straddle-type vehicle capable of improving the mounting strength of a rear turn signal. Another object of the present invention is to provide a saddle-ride type vehicle capable of suppressing adhesion of mud or water scattered from rear wheels to rear turn signals during traveling.
A saddle-ride type vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a body frame, a rear wheel, a seat, a tail cover, and a rear turn signal. The vehicle body frame includes a saddle frame made of metal. The rear wheels are mounted to the body frame. The rear wheel is disposed below the seat frame. The seat is disposed at an upper portion of the seat frame. The tail cover is arranged below the saddle frame. The tail cover is mounted to the seat frame. The rear turn signal is mounted to the seat frame between the seat and the tail cover.
In the saddle-ride type vehicle according to the present aspect, the rear turn signal is mounted on the metal seat frame, so that the mounting strength of the rear turn signal can be improved. In the saddle-ride type vehicle according to the present aspect, the saddle frame is mounted between the saddle and the tail cover, and the saddle frame is disposed above the rear wheels, so that it is possible to suppress the adhesion of mud and water scattered from the rear wheels during traveling to the rear turn signal.
In side view, the rear turn signal may be disposed above the lower end of the tail cover. This can appropriately suppress the adhesion of mud and water scattered from the rear wheels during running to the rear turn signal.
In side view, the rear turn signal may be disposed forward of the rear end of the seat. This can appropriately suppress the adhesion of mud and water scattered from the rear wheels during running to the rear turn signal.
The straddle-type vehicle may further include a tail lamp mounted on the tail cover. In this case, the rear turn signal is disposed in front of the tail lamp in side view. This can appropriately suppress the adhesion of mud and water scattered from the rear wheels during running to the rear turn signal.
The rear turn signal may also include a pair of rear turn signals. In this case, the tail lamp and the pair of rear turn lamps are arranged in the left-right direction in rear view. Detailed Description
Hereinafter, a saddle-ride type vehicle according to an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in fig. 1, the saddle-ride type vehicle 1 includes: a vehicle body 2, a tail lamp 3 and a rear turn lamp 4.
The vehicle body 2 includes: a body frame 5, a steering device 6, a power unit 7, front wheels 8 and rear wheels 9. The vehicle body 2 further includes a seat 10, a tail cover 11, and side covers 12. The vehicle body 2 further includes a metal stay 13 (see fig. 3).
In the present embodiment, the front of the rider (the front in fig. 1), the rear of the rider (the rear in fig. 1), the left of the rider, and the right of the rider in a state where the rider is seated on the seat 10 correspond to the respective directions of the front, rear, left, and right of the straddle-type vehicle 1.
The upper side of the rider (upper side of fig. 1) corresponds to the upper side of the saddle-ridden vehicle 1. The lower side of the saddle-ride type vehicle 1 (lower side of fig. 1) is the opposite direction to the upper side of the saddle-ride type vehicle 1. The side view shows a state in which the side face of the saddle-ride type vehicle 1 is viewed from the left side or the right side. The rear view shows a state in which the rear portion of the saddle-ride type vehicle 1 is viewed from the rear side.
The body frame 5 is made of metal. As shown in fig. 1, the vehicle body frame 5 has a head pipe 15 and a main frame 16. The main frame 16 is connected to the head pipe 15. The main frame 16 extends rearward from the head pipe 15. The vehicle body frame 5 has a vehicle center plane H (see fig. 5) passing through the head pipe 15 in the front-rear direction.
As shown in fig. 2, the main frame 16 has a seat frame 17. The seat frame is made of metal. The seat frame 17 has a coupling frame 17a, a first seat frame 17b, and a second seat frame 17c. The connection frame 17a is connected to the head pipe 15. The coupling frame 17a is disposed in front of the seat 10.
The first seat frame 17b includes a pair of first seat frames 17b. The pair of first seat frames 17b are arranged at a spacing in the left-right direction. A pair of first seat frames 17b support the seat 10. A pair of first seat frames 17b are arranged below the seat 10. The pair of first seat frames 17b are connected to the connecting frame 17 a. A pair of first seat frames 17b extend rearward from the coupling frame 17 a.
The second seat frame 17c includes a pair of second seat frames 17c. The pair of second seat frames 17c are arranged at a spacing in the left-right direction. The pair of second seat frames 17c are disposed below the pair of first seat frames 17b. The pair of second seat frames 17c are connected to the connecting frame 17 a. The pair of second seat frames 17c are respectively connected to the pair of first seat frames 17b. For example, a pair of second seat frames 17c extend rearward from the coupling frame 17a and are connected to a pair of first seat frames 17b.
As shown in fig. 1, the steering device 6 includes a front fork 18, a steering shaft 19, and a handle member 20. The front fork 18 rotatably provides support for the front wheel 8. The front fork 18 is supported rotatably with respect to the head pipe 15. The steering shaft 19 is connected to the front fork 18. The handle member 20 is connected to the steering shaft 19. The power unit 7 is supported by the main frame 16. The power unit 7 comprises, for example, an internal combustion engine. The power unit 7 may also comprise an electric motor.
The rear wheel 9 is mounted to the vehicle body frame 5. The rear wheel 9 is disposed rearward of the power unit 7. The rear wheel 9 is rotated by the driving force from the power unit 7. As shown in fig. 2, the rear wheels 9 are disposed below a pair of seat frames 17. For example, the rear wheel 9 is disposed below the pair of second seat frames 17c.
As shown in fig. 1, the seat 10 is disposed at an upper portion of the vehicle body frame 5. The seat 10 is mounted to the vehicle body frame 5. For example, as shown in fig. 2, the saddle 10 is mounted on an upper portion of the saddle frame 17, for example, on an upper portion of a pair of first saddle frames 17b. The lower end 10b of the seat 10 is disposed below the upper end 17d of the first seat frame 17b in side view.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the tail hood 11 is disposed at the rear of the vehicle body frame 5. The tail cover 11 is mounted to the vehicle body frame 5. For example, the tail cover 11 is mounted to a seat frame 17, such as a second seat frame 17c.
The tail cover 11 is disposed at a distance from the seat 10 in the up-down direction. The tail cover 11 is disposed below the seat 10. The tail cover 11 is disposed between the seat 10 and the rear wheel 9. For example, as shown in fig. 2, the tail cover 11 is disposed below the seat frame 17, for example, below the pair of first seat frames 17b and the pair of second seat frames 17c. The tail cover 11 is disposed between the pair of second seat frames 17c and the rear wheel 9.
As shown in fig. 2, the side cover 12 includes a pair of side covers 12. The pair of side covers 12 is made of resin. A pair of side covers 12 is disposed below the seat 10. The pair of side covers 12 are disposed on both sides of the seat frame 17. A pair of side covers 12 cover the seat frame 17 on both sides of the seat frame 17. Specifically, the pair of side covers 12 are disposed on both sides of the pair of first seat frames 17b. The pair of side covers 12 cover the pair of first seat frames 17b on both sides of the pair of first seat frames 17b.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the tail lamp 3 is attached to the rear portion of the vehicle body 2. For example, the tail lamp 3 is disposed behind the seat 10. The tail lamp 3 is mounted on the upper portion of the tail cover 11.
As shown in fig. 3, the stay 13 includes a pair of stays 13. A pair of stays 13 is connected to the vehicle body frame 5. For example, a pair of stays 13 are connected to a seat frame 17. Specifically, the pair of stays 13 are fixed to the pair of first seat frames 17b, respectively. The pair of stays 13 is made of metal. As shown in fig. 4, the pair of stays 13 are exposed without being covered by the side cover 12 in side view.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the pair of stays 13 includes a fixing portion 13a and a mounted portion 13b. As shown in fig. 3, the fixing portion 13a is fixed to the seat frame 17. For example, the fixing portion 13a is fixed to the first seat frame 17b. Specifically, the fixing portion 13a is fixed to the first seat frame 17b by fixing means such as welding. As shown in fig. 4 and 5, at least a part of the fixing portion 13a is covered by the seat 10. In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 5, the fixing portion 13a is covered with the seat 10. The fixing portion 13a may be partially covered by the seat 10.
As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the rear turn signal 4 is attached to the attached portion 13b. The attached portion 13b extends downward from the fixing portion 13 a. For example, in a state where the fixing portion 13a is fixed to the seat frame 17, the attached portion 13b extends downward from the fixing portion 13 a. The mounted portion 13b is integrally formed with the fixing portion 13 a. As shown in fig. 4, a bolt hole 13c is formed in the mounted portion 13b. As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the rear turn signal 4 includes a pair of rear turn signals 4. A pair of rear turn lamps 4 are mounted to the seat frame 17, respectively. For example, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the rear turn signal 4 is mounted on a seat frame 17, for example, a first seat frame 17b, between the seat 10 and the tail cover 11 via a stay 13.
As shown in fig. 5, in a rear view, the pair of rear turn lamps 4 and the tail lamp 3 are arranged in a left-right direction. As shown in fig. 4, in a side view, the pair of rear turn lamps 4 are disposed in front of the tail lamps 3. In side view, the pair of rear turn lamps 4 are disposed in front of the rear end 10a of the seat 10.
As shown in fig. 4, in a side view, the pair of rear turn lamps 4 are disposed below the lower end 10b of the seat 10. In side view, the pair of rear winkers 4 are disposed above the lower end 11a of the tail cover 11. That is, in side view, the pair of rear turn lamps 4 are mounted to the stay 13 between the lower end 10b of the seat 10 and the lower end 11a of the tail cover 11, respectively.
As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the pair of rear winkers 4 each have a flashing portion 4a and a mounting portion 4b. As shown in fig. 5, in rear view, the flashing portion 4a is disposed outside the side surface 10c of the seat 10. The flash unit 4a emits light from an LED light source.
As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the mounting portion 4b is connected to the flash portion 4 a. The mounting portion 4b is mounted to the seat frame 17. The mounting portion 4b is mounted to the first seat frame 17b via the stay 13. For example, the mounting portion 4b is mounted to the mounted portion 13b of the stay 13. Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, the attachment portion 4b is attached to the attached portion 13b of the stay 13 by a nut 21 (an example of a fastening member).

In addition, in the saddle-riding type vehicle 1, since the saddle frame 17 is mounted between the saddle 10 and the tail cover 11, and the saddle frame 17 is disposed above the rear wheels 9, it is possible to suppress adhesion of mud and water scattered from the rear wheels 9 during running to the rear turn signal 4.

Claims (11)
1. A straddle-type vehicle comprising:
a vehicle body frame including a saddle frame made of metal;
a rear wheel mounted on the vehicle body frame and disposed below the seat frame;
a saddle disposed on an upper portion of the saddle frame;
a tail cover disposed below the seat frame and mounted on the seat frame; and
and a rear turn signal lamp mounted to the seat frame between the seat and the tail cover.
2. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to claim 1, wherein,
in a side view, the rear turn signal is disposed above the lower end of the tail cover.
3. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to claim 1 or 2, wherein,
in a side view, the rear turn signal is disposed forward of the rear end of the seat.
4. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 3, further comprising: a tail lamp mounted on the tail housing,
in a side view, the rear turn signal lamp is disposed in front of the tail lamp.
5. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to claim 4, wherein,
the rear turn signal includes a pair of the rear turn signals,
in rear view, the tail lamp and the pair of rear turn lamps are arranged in a right-left direction.
6. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein,
the rear turn signal includes a pair of the rear turn signals,
the pair of rear turn lamps are respectively provided with a flashing part and a mounting part, the mounting part is connected with the flashing part and is mounted on the saddle frame,
in rear view, the flashing portion is disposed outside the side surface of the seat.
7. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 6, further comprising: a stay made of metal, said stay being connected to said saddle frame,
in side view, the rear turn signal is mounted to the stay between the lower end of the seat and the lower end of the tail cover.
8. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to claim 7, wherein,
the rear steering lamp is provided with a flashing part and a mounting part, the mounting part is connected with the flashing part,
the stay has:
a fixing portion fixed to the seat frame; and
a mounted part extending downward from the fixing part,

9. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to claim 8, wherein,
the vehicle body frame has a vehicle center plane passing through the head pipe in the front-rear direction,
in a rear view, the mounted portion is disposed between the mounting portion and the vehicle center plane,
the mounting portion is mounted to the mounted portion by a fastening member disposed between the vehicle center surface and the mounted portion.
10. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to any one of claims 7 to 9, wherein,
the stay has:
a fixing portion fixed to the seat frame; and
a mounted part extending downward from the fixing part and mounting the rear turn signal lamp,
at least a part of the fixing portion is covered by the seat.
11. The saddle-ride type vehicle according to any one of claims 1 to 10, further comprising:
a stay made of metal and connected to the seat frame; and
a side cover made of resin for covering the seat frame from the side,
in a side view, the stay is exposed without being covered by the side cover.
