Fig. 1 illustrates a flow diagram of a communication management method according to some embodiments of the invention. As shown in fig. 1, the communication management method of this embodiment includes steps S102 to S106.
In step S102, the AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function ) acquires service area restriction information of a virtual network group in which the user is located.
In some embodiments, the virtual network group is a 5G VN group, and the users in the 5G VN group sign up for the same S-nsai (Single Network Slice Selection Assistance Information ) and DNN (Data Network Name, data network name).
Since the AMF has a terminal location tracking function, location information of the user terminal can be tracked based on the existing functions of the AMF. For example, during registration of a user, the AMF acquires service area restriction information from a UDM (Unified Data Management ) storing the service area restriction information.
The service area restriction information includes, for example, service area information in which the user is allowed to perform intra-group communication.
In step S104, when an intra-group communication request corresponding to the user is initiated, the AMF transmits a notification to the SMF (Session Management Function ) in a case where the terminal of the user is outside the restricted service area. The notification is used to inform the SMF whether the user is outside the restricted service area.
In some embodiments, the intra-group communication request corresponding to the user is a communication request initiated by the user to other users in the virtual network group, or a communication request initiated by other users in the virtual network group to the user.
In some embodiments, the AMF sends a notification to the SMF via a session context update request (Nsmf_PDUStion_UpdateSMContext).
In some embodiments, the AMF tracks location information of the user's terminal and determines whether the user's terminal is outside of a restricted service area.
In step S106, the SMF rejects the corresponding communication request according to the received notification.
In some embodiments, the location of the user's terminal may be monitored and a determination may be made as to whether the user is within a service area where intra-group communication is allowed.
In some embodiments, the service area restriction information is determined for a group manager of the VN group. Therefore, the group management capability of a third party is further enhanced on the basis of a service area limiting mechanism for all members in the VN group. In this way, a group manager (e.g., enterprise, etc.) may limit the service area of a group member such that a terminal of a member will not be able to communicate with other members of the group after it has exceeded the area.
The above embodiment adds service area limitation information to the related data of the virtual network group, and can manage the communication of the members in the group with the virtual network group as granularity. Therefore, the invention can enhance the group management capability and also realize the enhancement of the third party opening capability.
In some embodiments, the service area limitation information is OAM (Operation Administration and Maintenance, operation administration maintenance) or AF (Application Function ) configured and stored to the UDM. The following describes a method of configuring service area restriction information, taking AF as an example.
Fig. 2 is a flow chart illustrating a method of configuring service area restriction information according to some embodiments of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the configuration method of this embodiment includes steps S202 to S204.
In step S202, the AF sends a first parameter configuration creation request (nnef_parameter provision_create request) or a first parameter configuration Update request (nnef_parameter provision_update request) to the NEF (Network Exposure Function, network opening function), where data of the VN group including the service area restriction information corresponding to the VN group and the like.
In step S204, the NEF sends a second parameter configuration creation request (nudm_parameter definition_create request) or a second parameter configuration Update request (nudm_parameter definition_update request) to the UDM, where the second parameter configuration creation request includes data of the VN group, such as service area restriction information corresponding to the VN group.
Thus, the UDM can store the obtained service area restriction information.
In some embodiments, the process further includes steps S206-S212.
In step S206, the UDM transmits data management inquiry information (nudr_dm_query) including data of VN groups such as service area restriction information corresponding to the VN groups to the UDR (Unified Data Repository, unified data warehouse function) and receives a response.
In step S208, the UDM transmits data management Update information (nudr_dm_update) including data of VN groups such as service area restriction information corresponding to the VN groups to the UDR and receives the response.
Steps S206 and S208 are alternatively performed as needed.
In step S210, the UDM transmits a second parameter configuration creation response (nudm_parameter provision_create response) or a second parameter configuration Update response (nudm_parameter provision_update response) to the NEF.
In step S212, the NEF transmits a first parameter configuration creation response (nnef_parameter provision_create response) or a first parameter configuration Update response (nnef_parameter provision_update response) to the AF.
By the above embodiment, the configuration of the service area restriction information can be realized.
In some embodiments, the service area restriction information is stored in the UDM. For example, in the registration process of the user, the AMF acquires service area restriction information of the VN group from the UDM. The registration procedure of the terminal, in which the AMF acquires service area restriction information, is described below in connection with fig. 3.
Fig. 3 is a flow chart illustrating a method for acquiring service area restriction information according to some embodiments of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, the method of acquiring service area restriction information of this embodiment includes steps S302 to S312.
In step S302, the terminal (UE) transmits a registration request to the RAN (Radio Access Network ).
In step S304, the RAN performs AMF selection.
In step S306, the RAN sends a registration request to the selected AMF.
In step S308, the AMF transmits user data management acquisition information (nudm_sdm_get) to the UDM.
In step S310, the UDM transmits service area restriction information of the virtual network group in which the user is located to the AMF.
In step S312, the AMF transmits a response to the terminal registering the received.
Through the embodiment, the AMF can acquire the service area limitation information of the virtual network group in the registration process, so that the information can be acquired timely, and the influence on the existing flow is reduced as much as possible.
In some embodiments, the service area restriction information may also be flexibly updated. For example, the PCF (Policy Control Function ) generates updated service area restriction information; the PCF then sends the updated service area restriction information to the AMF. An embodiment of the service area restriction information updating method of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 4.
Fig. 4 is a flow chart illustrating a method of updating service area restriction information according to some embodiments of the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, the method of updating the service area restriction information of the embodiment includes steps S402 to S408.
In step S402, the AMF decides to establish a policy association (Policy Association).
In step S404, the AMF sends a policy control creation request (Npcf_AMPolicControl_Create) to the PCF.
In step S406, the PCF sends a policy control creation response (npcf_ampoliccontrol_create response) to the AMF, which carries the access and mobility control policies (access and mobility control policy), including updated service area restriction information.
In some embodiments, the PCF updates the service area restriction information based on at least one of location information of the user's terminal, network condition information, or currently used applications.
In step S408, the AMF applies the access and mobility control policies sent by the PCF, thereby obtaining updated service area restriction information.
Through the embodiment, the PCF can flexibly adjust the service area restriction information according to the actual situation of the individual user.
