The terminal dials VoWiFi service and firstly needs to register with the core network of the operator to finish EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol extended authentication protocol) -AKA (Authentication and Key Agreement ) authentication, obtain the account opening information of the user, and if the user does not open the service, the network replies a registration refusal response. And part of operators can authenticate the WiFi gateway in the process to realize the confirmation of the user position, and when the WiFi gateway does not meet the requirements of the operators, the network can reply a registration rejection response to require that the terminal does not try registration again in a period of time.
The WiFi gateway is a gateway that a home network connects to a public network, and a plurality of APs (Access points) can be connected to the WiFi gateway. Multiple AP devices may be cascaded under one home gateway, and a bridge mode or a route mode may be between an AP device and the home gateway, where in the bridge mode, a terminal obtains a private network address through the home gateway, and in the route mode, the terminal obtains the private network address through the AP, and when the terminal moves inside the home, AP switching may occur, however, an AP change does not represent a WiFi gateway change, and in this process, the private network IP (Internet Protocol ) address may change or remain unchanged, that is, the private network IP address change is not enough to indicate that the WiFi gateway changes. In the conventional VoWiFi scheme, the current information of the WiFi gateway is not directly available to the terminal.
Above, the conventional VoWiFi scheme has at least the following problems: after the terminal moves, the new WiFi gateway supports the VoWiFi service, however, the terminal still cannot attempt to re-register, and therefore the terminal cannot use the VoWiFi service in time.
The service registration method provided by the embodiment of the application can be applied to an application environment shown in figure 1. The application scenario shows a communication system, which may comprise: a terminal 102, a wireless access point 104, a wireless local area network gateway 106, and a communication network 108. The terminal 102 may access the communication network 103.
Wherein the communication network 103 may refer to an operator network; further, the communication network 103 may comprise a mobile core network; illustratively, the terminal 102 accessing the wireless local area network may connect to a mobile core network to implement VoWiFi services. Alternatively, the mobile Core Network may comprise a 4G Core Network and a 5G Core Network, i.e. EPC (Evolved Packet Core) and 5GC (5G Core Network), and may be compatible with 4G and 5G users.
Illustratively, the communication system may further include a network device connected to the terminal 102, which may be a server, such as a DNS (Domain Name System ) server, including an operator DNS server (such as a core packet network Evolution (EPC) DNS server); alternatively, the server may be implemented by a stand-alone server or a server cluster formed by a plurality of servers, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present application.
In the embodiment of the present application, the terminal 102 may be referred to as a User Equipment (UE). The Terminal 102 may be a personal communication service (Personal Communication Service, PCS) phone, cordless phone, session initiation protocol (Session Initiation Protocol, SIP) phone, wireless local loop (Wireless Local Loop, WLL) Station, personal digital assistant (Personal Digital Assistant, PDA) or the like, or a handset, mobile Station (MS), terminal equipment (Mobile Terminal), laptop or the like, and the Terminal 102 may communicate with one or more core networks via a radio access network (Radio Access Network, RAN). For example, the terminal 102 may be a mobile telephone (or "cellular" telephone) or a computer with terminal equipment, etc., for example, the terminal 102 may also be a portable, pocket, hand-held, computer-built-in or vehicle-mounted mobile device that exchanges voice and/or data with a radio access network. The terminal 102 may also be a handheld device, a computing device or other processing device connected to a wireless modem, a vehicle-mounted device, a wearable device, a terminal device in a future evolution network, etc., which are not limited by the embodiments of the present application.
The wireless local area network gateway 106 may for example be a home gateway of the user, providing a wireless local area network (WLAN, wireless Local Area Network) for the user's terminal 102 to access via a WiFi connection, wherein the wireless local area network is capable of communicating with the communication network 103. Based on the coverage characteristics of the WLAN network, the terminal 102 accessing the WLAN network and the wireless lan gateway 106 are in the same scene, such as a user home scene. Illustratively, the wireless local area network gateway 106 may refer to a WiFi gateway.
For example, a plurality of wireless access points 104 may be connected to the wireless lan gateway 106, such as the wireless access point 1, the wireless access point 2, and the wireless access point n (n is a positive integer) shown in fig. 1, and the number of wireless access points is not limited in the embodiment of the present application, and alternatively, a plurality of wireless access points may be cascaded under one wireless lan gateway. The terminal 102 may support a WIFI network provided using a wireless access point 104 that exists around; taking a wireless access point as an AP device as an example, when a terminal accesses a VoWiFi network, the terminal may access the VoWiFi network through a WIFI network provided by the AP device, and when the terminal needs to access the VoWiFi network, establish communication with the AP device, that is, access a wireless local area network where the AP is located.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, a voice service registration method is provided, and the method is applied to the terminal in fig. 1 for illustration, and includes the following steps:
step 202, under the condition that the voice service re-registration is forbidden and the wireless local area network switch is confirmed, the registration of the voice service of the operator network is initiated;
the terminal accesses the voice service of the operator network through the wireless local area network provided by the wireless local area network gateway.
Specifically, when the terminal is in the state of prohibiting the re-registration of the voice service, the terminal can initiate the registration of the voice service to the operator network when confirming the occurrence of the switching of the wireless local area network, namely, after the terminal judges that the wireless local area network of the family is changed, the terminal can initiate the registration of the voice service in time, so that the terminal can perform the re-registration in time after the terminal changes the wireless local area network, and the use time rate of the voice service can be improved.
Illustratively, the terminal is in a state of prohibiting the re-registration of the voice service, which may mean that the terminal suspends the re-attempt of the registration for a specified time according to the network requirement if a rejection response (for example, the rejection response indicates that the wireless local area network does not meet the requirement of the operator network) is received to cause the registration failure when the terminal performs the registration of the voice service. It should be noted that, when the operator initiates the voice service registration, besides authenticating the terminal to obtain the account opening information of the user, the operator may also authenticate the wireless local area network (which may be a home gateway, for example, a WiFi gateway) corresponding to the terminal currently, so as to realize confirmation of the user location, and when the wireless local area network does not meet the requirement of the operator, the network may reply to the registration rejection response, so that the terminal is required not to retry registration for a period of time.
The wireless local area network does not meet the requirements of the operator network, which may mean that the security level and/or controllability of the gateway do not meet the requirements of the operator network. For example, the public network gateway, the uncontrollable gateway, the hot spot gateway and other uncontrollable gateways with low security level do not meet the requirements of operators.
Optionally, the switching of the wireless local area network in the embodiment of the present application may refer to that the terminal changes the wireless local area network, that is, the wireless local area network connected by the terminal changes; for example, after the terminal moves, a new wireless local area network gateway is accessed. As another example, when the terminal moves inside the home, a handover of a wireless access point (for example, AP) may occur, and when a wireless local area network to which a newly accessed wireless access point belongs is different from a wireless local area network to which a wireless access point accessed by the terminal belongs, it may be confirmed that the wireless local area network is changed. Illustratively, in a wlan gateway handover, a wlan gateway to which a terminal newly accesses may support voice service (e.g., voWiFi service).
Based on the embodiment of the application, the terminal can confirm the change condition of the wireless local area network, and further can perform re-registration in time under the condition of prohibiting the re-registration of the voice service, thereby improving the use timeliness of the voice service.
In one embodiment, the voice traffic may include VoWiFi traffic; the voice traffic re-registration disabled state includes a VoWiFi re-registration disabled state.
Specifically, in the embodiment of the present application, the voice service of the wireless local area network and the accessed operator network provided by the terminal through the wireless local area network gateway may refer to VoWiFi service. The embodiment of the application is not limited to the type of voice service.
Illustratively, the voice traffic re-registration disabled state may refer to a VoWiFi re-registration disabled state. For example, when performing VoWiFi registration, if a rejection response is received (the rejection response indicates that the wireless local area network gateway (e.g., wiFi gateway) is not satisfactory) resulting in a registration failure, the terminal suspends the registration retry for a specified time according to the network requirements.
In the embodiment of the application, the terminal pauses registration retry within a specified time according to the network requirement, and the terminal can reinitiate the registration request by judging the change of the WiFi gateway, thereby improving the use timeliness of the VoWiFi service.
In one embodiment, taking voice service as VoWiFi as an example, as shown in fig. 3, the method may further include:
step 302, a VoWiFi registration request is sent to an operator network; the VoWiFi registration request is used for requesting an operator network to authenticate the terminal;
Specifically, before entering the forbidden voice service re-registration state, the terminal may send a VoWiFi registration request to the operator network, i.e. the terminal performs registration to the operator core network to complete service authentication (e.g. EAP-AKA authentication). Further, in the above registration process, the operator network in the embodiment of the present application may also authenticate the wireless local area network gateway (e.g. WiFi gateway) to realize confirmation of the user location. When the wlan fails to meet the operator's requirement (e.g., the gateway fails to register as a result of authentication, e.g., the authentication result is a specific error code used to represent the home gateway authentication failure), the network replies with a registration rejection response that is different from authentication failure due to other reasons, requiring the terminal to not re-attempt registration for a period of time, i.e., the terminal enters and is in a state of prohibiting voice service re-registration.
For example, the operator network authenticating the wireless local area network gateway (e.g., wiFi gateway) may refer to the operator network identifying the wireless local area network gateway to determine whether to accept the registration request, where the wireless local area network gateway may be determined according to the source IP address and the port number identification.
Step 304, in response to receiving the registration rejection response transmitted by the operator network, the terminal is in a VoWiFi re-registration prohibition state during the operation of the registration prohibition timer; the registration rejection response indicates that the authentication result of the operator network on the wireless local area network to which the terminal is currently accessed is authentication failure.
Specifically, when the terminal receives a registration rejection response transmitted by the operator network and the registration rejection response indicates that the authentication result of the operator network to the wireless local area network to which the terminal is currently connected is authentication failure, the terminal is in a VoWiFi re-registration prohibition state during the operation of the registration prohibition timer. The registration reject response may be an error code issued by the operator network, for example.
For example, the registration reject response may refer to a specific registration reject response for authentication failure of a wireless local area network gateway (e.g., home gateway) on behalf of an operator network, which can be distinguished from authentication failure caused by other reasons.
The registration prohibition timer may be an expire timer issued by the network. Disabling the VoWiFi re-registration state may refer to: after the current terminal VoWiFi registers, the terminal processes according to an expire timer issued by the network, and the terminal is not allowed to try registration again before the timer is overtime.
By taking a wireless local area network gateway as an example, the embodiment of the application can realize the timely registration success of VoWiFi within the timing duration of the timer for prohibiting registration. Alternatively, if the timer issued by the network is too short (e.g., the timing duration of the registration-prohibited timer is less than the duration threshold), the terminal may frequently attempt registration under the same WiFi network, causing a signaling storm; if the timer is too long (e.g., the timing of the prohibit registration timer is longer than the duration threshold), the terminal may move to the new network and still not attempt re-registration, resulting in a failure of the VoWiFi to register in time. The embodiment of the application ensures that the terminal can timely re-register after replacing the WiFi gateway. It should be noted that, the embodiment of the present application is not limited to the above-mentioned duration threshold, and the duration threshold may be set according to requirements.
According to the voice service registration method, during the period of suspending registration retry in the set time, after the terminal changes the wireless local area network, the terminal can register again in time, and the use timeliness of the voice service is improved.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, confirming that a wlan switch occurs may include:
Step 402, obtaining positioning information of a terminal;
specifically, when the terminal is in a state of prohibiting the re-registration of the voice service, the positioning information can be acquired, so as to confirm whether the position of the terminal changes according to the positioning information, and further confirm whether the wireless local area network switch occurs.
In an example, a voice service is taken as VoWiFi, a plurality of wireless Access Points (APs) are connected under a wireless local area network, when the terminal initiates VoWiFi registration, an error code issued by a received network indicates that the current wireless local area network cannot register VoWiFi, and the terminal does not retry VoWiFi registration under the current WiFi AP within a specified time.
And step 404, when the position change amount of the terminal is determined to be larger than the position change amount threshold value based on the positioning information, confirming that the wireless local area network switch occurs.
Specifically, the terminal can confirm that the wireless local area network switch occurs under the condition that the position change amount is larger than the position change amount threshold value according to the positioning information, and then re-request the voice service registration.
For example, when voice service is VoWiFi and a wireless local area network gateway is a WiFi gateway, if a rejection response is received to indicate that the WiFi gateway does not meet the requirement and causes registration failure, the terminal pauses registration retry within a specified time according to network requirements, and in this case, the terminal discovers that the location changes through positioning information, and confirms that the WiFi gateway changes in a manner that the change of the location information is greater than a threshold (for example, the change of the location is greater than the change of the location threshold), and the registration request should be reinitiated.
In one embodiment, the positioning information may include GPS (Global Positioning System ) positioning information; the position change amount may include a latitude and longitude offset amount.
Specifically, the terminal can confirm whether the terminal position is sent or not according to the GPS positioning informationA raw change; the position change amount may include a latitude and longitude offset, where the position change amount threshold may be L x Meter, and then when the latitude and longitude offset of the positioning information reaches L x Above meters, the terminal attempts to re-initiate voice service (e.g., voWiFi) registration.
According to the voice service registration method, the terminal discovers that the position changes through the positioning information, and when the change of the position information is larger than the threshold value, the change of the home gateway is confirmed, the registration request is restarted, so that the terminal can timely re-register after replacing the home gateway, and the voice service can be timely registered successfully.
The above-mentioned confirmation of the position change by the positioning information may be used as an independent judgment condition for confirming that the wlan switch has occurred, or may be combined with other modes in the embodiment of the present application and used as a necessary judgment condition, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present application.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 5, confirming that a wlan switch occurs may include:
step 502, when the terminal moves from the first access point to the second access point, when determining that the wireless local area network gateway to which the second access point belongs is different from the wireless local area network gateway to which the first access point belongs, confirming that the wireless local area network gateway handover occurs.
Specifically, a plurality of wireless access points (e.g., AP devices) may be cascaded under the wlan gateway, in which case, when the terminal moves from the first access point to the second access point in a state of prohibiting the re-registration of voice traffic, if it is determined that the wlan gateway to which the second access point belongs is different from the wlan gateway to which the first access point belongs, the terminal confirms that the wlan gateway handover occurs.
The terminal moving from the first access point to the second access point can refer to access point switching; the first access point may be a wireless access point to which the terminal accesses before the access point is switched, and the second access point may be a wireless access point to which the terminal accesses after the access point is switched. Alternatively, the first access point may refer to a wireless access point to which the terminal accesses before the gateway is replaced, and the second access point may refer to a wireless access point to which the terminal accesses after the gateway is replaced.
In the embodiment of the application, under the condition that the access point switching occurs, the terminal confirms that the wireless local area network switching occurs by determining that the wireless local area network to which the access point accessed later belongs is different from the wireless local area network to which the access point accessed earlier belongs, and further, the registration request of the voice service is restarted, thereby improving the use timeliness of the voice service.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 6, determining that the wireless local area network to which the second access point belongs is different from the wireless local area network to which the first access point belongs may include:
step 602, in response to the change of the access point identifier of the wireless local area network currently accessed, acquiring the access point identifier of the second access point;
specifically, when the terminal is in a state of prohibiting the re-registration of the voice service, it finds that the access point identifier of the wireless local area network which is currently accessed changes, for example, the access point identifier of the access point (second access point) which is newly accessed is different from the access point identifier of the access point (first access point) which is accessed before the access point is switched. In this case, the terminal may acquire the access point identifier of the second access point to further confirm whether the wlan-related handover occurs.
Illustratively, an access point identification may be used to identify each wireless access point, which may include, but is not limited to, any of an access point name, an access point account number, an SSID (Service Set Identifier, service set identification), etc., as the present application is not limited in this regard. Optionally, the access point identification is a service set identification SSID.
Step 604, when the access point identifier of the second access point is queried in the access point list, determining that the wireless local area network to which the second access point belongs is different from the wireless local area network to which the first access point belongs; the access point list contains a historical access record of access points for successful access terminals.
Specifically, after the access point identifier of the second access point is obtained, when the terminal queries the access point identifier of the second access point in the access point list, it may be determined that the wireless local area network to which the second access point belongs is different from the wireless local area network to which the first access point belongs.
Illustratively, the access point list may contain a historical access record of access points that successfully accessed the terminal, i.e., access point identities of newly accessed access points (second access points), in the access point list where the terminal was successfully accessing voice traffic. Further, in the process of accessing the historical voice service, the terminal accords with the requirement of the network of the operator (for example, authentication is successful) and successfully accesses the access point of the terminal, and the access point identifier of the access point can be used as a historical access record and exists in an access point list;
Alternatively, the access point list may include a service set identification SSID list. Illustratively, taking voice service as an example of VoWiFi, the terminal may add the current SSID to the historical SSID list after each successful access to VoWiFi.
Further, taking voice service as VoWiFi and connecting a plurality of wireless Access Points (APs) under a wireless local area network as an example, when the terminal initiates VoWiFi registration, the received error code issued by the network indicates that the current WiFi AP can not register VoWiFi, and the terminal does not try VoWiFi registration again under the current WiFi AP within a specified time; and in the specified time, the terminal finds that the SSID changes, inquires whether the SSID is in the record of successfully registering VoWiFi, and if so, tries to reinitiate the VoWiFi registration.
According to the voice service registration method, the terminal determines that the home gateway changes in the switching of the access point through the access point identifier and the access point list of the new access point, and then the registration request is reinitiated, so that the terminal can register again in time after replacing the home gateway, and the voice service can be ensured to be registered successfully in time.
In one embodiment, the method may further comprise:
deleting a history access record of a target access point in the access point list; the target access point comprises at least one of an access point corresponding to the registration failure information of the voice service and an access point with overtime historical access records.
Specifically, to determine that the wireless lan gateway to which the second access point belongs is different from the wireless lan gateway to which the first access point belongs, it is necessary to confirm the access point list; in addition, the historical access records of the target access point in the access point list may be deleted. The target access point may be an access point corresponding to registration failure information of the voice service, for example, an access point corresponding to a terminal initiated VoWiFi registration failure; the target access point may also be an access point with a time-out history, for example, an access point corresponding to an earliest entry after the entries in the access point list are full.
Taking voice service as VoWiFi and connecting a plurality of wireless Access Points (AP) under a wireless local area network as an example, after the terminal initiates VoWiFi registration successfully, SSID can be added into a list of the successfully registered VoWiFi. When the terminal initiates the VoWiFi registration failure and the failure reason is that the wireless local area network gateway cannot register the VoWiFi, the terminal inquires a list of the successfully registered VoWiFi, and if the list contains the SSID corresponding to the current WiFi, the terminal deletes the SSID from the list. After SSID entries in the list of the terminal for successfully registering VoWiFi are full, the terminal deletes the earliest entry.
Illustratively, the access point list (e.g., SSID list) may be maintained by the terminal. Alternatively, the SSID is obtained through broadcasting, and the acquisition mode is easier.
The above-mentioned change of the home gateway to which the access point belongs when the access point identification confirms that the access point handover occurs may be used as an independent judgment condition for confirming that the wireless lan switch occurs, or may be combined with other modes in the embodiment of the present application and used as a necessary judgment condition, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 7, determining that the wireless local area network to which the second access point belongs is different from the wireless local area network to which the first access point belongs may include:
step 702, in response to the change of the access point identifier of the wireless local area network currently accessed, sending an address query request to a domain name system DNS server; the address inquiry request is used for indicating a Domain Name System (DNS) server to feed back the current public network IP address of the terminal;
specifically, when the terminal is in a state of prohibiting the re-registration of the voice service, and the access point identifier of the accessed wireless local area network is found to change, an address inquiry request can be sent to a domain name system DNS server to obtain the current public network IP address (i.e. the current public network IP address) of the terminal.
Step 704, in response to receiving the current public network IP address, when it is confirmed that the current public network IP address is different from the last public network IP address of the terminal, it is determined that the wireless local area network to which the second access point belongs is different from the wireless local area network to which the first access point belongs.
Specifically, after the public network IP address is obtained, the terminal may determine whether the public network IP address changes, and if the public network IP address changes (for example, the current public network IP address is different from the last public network IP address), it may be determined that the wireless local area network to which the second access point belongs is different from the wireless local area network to which the first access point belongs.
Taking voice service as VoWiFi and connecting a plurality of wireless Access Points (AP) under the wireless local area network as an example, when the terminal initiates VoWiFi registration, the error code issued by the received network indicates that the current wireless local area network can not register VoWiFi, and the terminal does not try VoWiFi registration again under the current WiFi AP within a set time. In the prescribed time, the terminal finds that the SSID is changed, inquires the DNS of the server, and acquires its own public IP address (public network IP address). If the public IP address changes from before, the terminal attempts to re-initiate VoWiFi registration.
According to the voice service registration method, the terminal determines that the home gateway changes in the switching of the access point through the public network IP address, and then the registration request is reinitiated, so that the terminal can timely re-register after replacing the home gateway, and the voice service can be timely registered successfully.
It should be noted that, the above-mentioned change of the home gateway to which the access point accessed by the terminal is confirmed through the public network IP address may be used as an independent judgment condition for confirming that the wlan switch occurs, or may be combined with other modes in the embodiment of the present application and also used as a necessary judgment condition, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 8, the confirmation of the wlan switch may include:
step 802, sending an address query request to a Domain Name System (DNS) server; the address inquiry request is used for indicating a Domain Name System (DNS) server to feed back the current public network IP address of the terminal;
specifically, when the terminal is in a state of prohibiting the re-registration of the voice service, an address query request can be sent to a domain name system DNS server to obtain the current public network IP address (i.e. the current public network IP address) of the terminal, so as to confirm whether the wireless local area network switch occurs or not through the public network IP address.
Step 804, in response to receiving the current public network IP address, when determining that the current public network IP address is different from the last public network IP address of the terminal, confirming that the wireless local area network switch occurs.
Specifically, after the public network IP address is obtained, the terminal may confirm whether the public network IP address changes, and if the public network IP address changes (for example, the current public network IP address is different from the last public network IP address), confirm that the wlan switch occurs.
According to the voice service registration method, the terminal determines that the home gateway changes through the public network IP address, and then the registration request is reinitiated, so that the terminal can timely re-register after replacing the home gateway, and the voice service can be timely registered successfully.
It should be noted that, the above-mentioned confirmation of the occurrence of the wlan switch through the public IP address may be used as an independent judgment condition for confirming the occurrence of the wlan switch, or may be combined with other modes in the embodiment of the present application and also used as a necessary judgment condition, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
