Background
The automated solutions of replacement reels available on the market have low insertion rates of the carrier tapes into the reels, high maintenance costs and high variations over time, which lead to low productivity.
The patent CN210824706U of the rest and others discloses a carrier tape introducing mechanism and automatic reel replacing equipment thereof, the carrier tape introducing mechanism comprises an introducing shell, a first introducing plate and a second introducing plate, wherein a hollow front end introducing groove is arranged in the introducing shell, a supporting groove penetrating from the bottom is arranged on the inner side of the first introducing plate, and a closed rear end introducing groove is arranged in the second introducing plate; the pinwheel is arranged below the rear end leading-in groove, the pinwheel is positioned and installed on the pinwheel, the bearing material belt is provided with a positioning hole, and the positioning hole can be clamped and assembled by the end part of the positioning needle. This novel has disclosed a bears material area import mechanism, it can be realized carrying the accurate leading-in of material area mouth that bears to realize bearing material area and reel automatic positioning, assembly, and bear the switching of material area import mechanism, make on the one hand bear the material area import convenient, on the other hand can also conveniently increase the length that bears the material area and pass through the leading-in groove of front end, increase simultaneously and bear the material area deposit, utilize the winding length of reel, thereby prevent to bear the material area and receive traction force and damage. However, CN210824706U does not disclose a buffer to meet the needs of the reel-to-reel replacement process.
In addition, takayuki and others' patent JPH06211386a disclose a guide for inserting a web into a spool. In the case of inserting the point end of the wound tape into the engagement groove of the reel core, the object of this invention is to insert the tape reliably without applying a load to the tape. The point end of the carrier tape transported along the tape transport path by the tape transport mechanism is received by means of a tape guide insertable into the engagement slot of the reel core, in which case the carrier tape is configured such that the point end of the carrier tape is inserted into the engagement slot together with the tape guide by inserting a clamping pin into the transport hole of the carrier tape and moving a guide block to one side of the reel. Thereafter, the point end of the carrier tape is engaged with the engagement groove by moving the guide block in the reverse direction to extract only the tape guide from the engagement groove. Nevertheless, this invention has the same limitations as CN210824706U, and therefore it does not include a buffer for meeting the needs of the reel-to-reel replacement process.
It would therefore be advantageous to alleviate the disadvantages by a carrier strip insertion device and carrier strip insertion method having a buffer that reduces idle time during reel-to-reel replacement.
