Technical Field
The invention relates to a device for producing bristle products, in particular brushes, brooms and/or writing brushes.
Background
A brush manufacturing machine is known from DE 1 632 A1, which comprises a tool set consisting of a plurality of boring tools and a filling tool, wherein the number of filling tools is one more than the number of boring tools and the respective inactive filling tool can be switched off at least without it outputting bristle tufts.
Devices of the type mentioned at the outset are also known from practice in different embodiments. The known device has a filling unit by means of which bristle tufts can be inserted into a ready-to-use bristle product body to produce a set of bristle tufts.
A filling unit of this type can have a filling tool by means of which the bristle tufts previously removed from the bristle magazine are inserted into tuft receiving holes in the bristle product body together with a fastening anchor consisting of an anchor wire and are anchored there.
This type of apparatus is commonly used to produce different bristle product styles. The change of the model generally requires various adjustments to the device and in particular to its packing unit. Thus, for example, in order to change the form, it may be necessary to replace a so-called push-tab by means of which the anchor together with the bristle tufts can be plugged into the ready-to-use bristle product body. This may also be necessary in case of damaged push tongues.
Likewise, in order to change the pattern, it may also be necessary to adjust a so-called splitter of the filling unit, by means of which splitter the bristle bundles can be extracted from the loose bristle filament stock. The adjustment in relation to the model may also be necessary in connection with a thread conveying device by means of which the anchoring thread can be conveyed to the loading tool of the loading unit to produce a fixed anchor. Similar work may also be necessary in the case of maintenance, repair, setup and/or servicing of the equipment. All of these measures are conditioned on the equipment being at rest and can reduce its overall equipment efficiency.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device of the aforementioned type which is advantageous for achieving a higher overall device efficiency.
To solve the task, an apparatus is proposed having the features of the independent claims directed to an apparatus for manufacturing bristle articles. In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, an apparatus for producing bristle goods, in particular brushes, brooms and/or writing brushes, is therefore proposed, which has at least two filling units for filling bristle bundles into a bristle goods body, wherein the filling units can alternatively be moved from a setting position outside the working space of the apparatus into a working position inside the working space, and vice versa. Thus, when one of the at least two packing units is disposed in its disposed position, the other of the at least two packing units can always be disposed in the operative position within the operative space of the apparatus.
In this way, a device for producing bristle products is achieved which allows, for example, in the case of a replacement version, one of the at least two filling units to be arranged outside the working space without the device having to be shut down during this time. During operation on the filling unit in the set position, the further filling unit, which is in the operating position at this time, can be used independently of it, in order to fill the bristle bundles into the ready bristle product body. Thus, the apparatus can be continued to be used for producing bristle articles also in the case of working on one of the at least two packing units.
The device according to the invention also has corresponding advantages in the case of maintenance or servicing measures. Once a work has to be performed on one of the at least two packing units, the concerned packing unit can be moved into a set position outside the working space of the apparatus, while the other packing unit inside the working space can be used for producing bristle products.
In the case of one embodiment of the device, it has a replacement device for replacing the position of the packing unit, by means of which the packing unit can be moved from its setting position into the working position. The replacement device can be provided for the replacement of the packing unit, preferably automatically, between its setting position and its working position. The replacement device can have a rotary unit, for example with a rotary disk, on which the at least two packing units of the apparatus are arranged. The rotary unit serves as a common rotatable carrier structure for the at least two packing units.
For the replacement between the working position and its setting position and vice versa, the respective filling units can be rotated about a preferably common axis of rotation, in particular by means of a replacement device. In this way, the movement of the at least two packing units between their installation position and the working position inside the working space can be realized in a rotational movement. The position of the packing unit can be replaced by a rotational movement in one rotational direction or by an alternating rotational movement.
In the case of one embodiment of the device, it is provided that the device, in particular the replacement device, has a linear unit by means of which the filling unit can be moved linearly. The linear axis of the linear unit can be oriented transversely or perpendicularly to the rotational axis of the replacement device, for example, which has been described above.
In particular if the packing units are rotated about a preferably common axis of rotation for the purpose of position alternation, it may be expedient to move the packing units along the linear axis of the linear unit in advance to a position close to the axis of rotation. In this way, the centrifugal forces which occur in the case of a rotary movement are reduced. Furthermore, the linear unit can be used to move, in particular position, the packing unit in the setting position and/or in the working position.
The device can furthermore have a docking device, by means of which the plug unit in the working position can be fixed and/or oriented, in particular centered, in the working position. For this purpose, the docking device can have at least one fastening means in the working position and preferably at least one corresponding counter fastening means on each of the packing units. The linear units mentioned above can be used to position the packing unit in the working position into the region of action of the docking device or to release the packing unit from the docking device.
Furthermore, the device can have a protection device, which delimits the working space. The protection means can be arranged to prevent unauthorized access to the working space of the device. The protection device can have a shut-off device by means of which the functional units of the device, in particular the plug units, are deactivated once entry into the working space of the device is confirmed.
The protection means can comprise a protection barrier and/or an electronic access restriction means. As an electron entry limiting means, the protection means can, for example, have at least one light barrier and/or at least one grating. The shut-off means can deactivate the functional unit of the device if the protection barrier is opened.
If the protection device has an electron entry restriction device, for example with a light barrier and/or with a grating, the shut-off device can be connected to the light barrier and/or the grating. If the light barrier and/or the grating is switched on due to unauthorized access into the working space, an activation of the switching-off means can be effected to switch off the functional units of the device.
In order to achieve a position exchange of the packing unit between its setting position and its working position, the protection device can be temporarily deactivated and/or opened.
In the case of one embodiment of the device, it is provided that at least a part of the protective device, in particular the column section, is arranged on the displacement device between the at least two plug units and can be moved together with the plug units in the event of a replacement of the plug unit position. In this way, the opening of the protective device for the replacement of the position of the packing unit can be achieved by a movement of the packing unit for the replacement of the position.
The packing units of the device are preferably functionally redundant to each other. The function of the plug unit in the installation position can thus be assumed by the plug unit of the at least two plug units that is installed in the working position. Each stuffing unit can have at least one stuffing tool and/or at least one anchor wire conveyor and/or at least one beam splitting device and/or at least one bristle magazine.
The bristle bundles together with the anchor can be inserted into the ready-to-use bristle product body by means of a loading tool. By means of the anchor wire feeding device, it is possible to feed the anchoring wire for anchoring the anchor to the setting tool. The bristle bundles can be taken from a stock of loose bristle filaments which can be stored in a bristle magazine of the filling unit by means of a beam splitting device. The bristle bundles can be separated from the bristle stock and fed to the filling tool by a corresponding movement of the bundle splitting device.
In order to enable the device to be retrofitted relatively easily to other bristle product patterns, it may be desirable for at least one of the stuffing tools of the stuffing unit to have a replaceable push tongue.
The apparatus can preferably have at least one station for processing and/or treating the bristled articles and/or the bristled article bodies inside the working space. As said stations, for example, a stuffing station, a milling station, a drilling station and/or a treatment station can be provided. The filling unit, which can be replaced in terms of its position, can be assigned to a filling station of the installation, which is arranged in the previously defined working position.
It is possible to provide a bristle holder with a bundle receiving bore at the drilling station. By means of the filling unit of the apparatus, it is possible to fill the bristle bundles into the bundle receiving holes produced in the drilling station. The inserted bristle tufts can be sheared in the milling station, for example, to impart a specific profile to the bristle groups of the bristled article.
The device can have a transport device with at least one transport holder by means of which the bristle products and/or bristle product bodies can be moved inside the working space between the stations of the device.
The bristle product body to be processed can be introduced into the working space of the apparatus at the treatment station and the finished bristle product can be removed from the working space and, if appropriate, delivered to downstream process steps.
The shipping holders previously mentioned can be provided for opening and/or moving the bristle article body in multiple axes for positioning the bristle article and/or bristle article body.
The device can have a control unit for controlling the functional units of the device, in particular for controlling the at least two packing units, the previously mentioned replacement devices, the protection devices and/or the previously mentioned at least one station of the device which is arranged inside the working space.
The control unit can comprise a data interface. Via the data interface, the control unit can be connected at least temporarily to the data storage and/or can be provided for a preferably bidirectional communication with the data storage. From the data memory, the control unit is able to read out data for the production, maintenance, service and/or setting of the device stored in the data memory. The control unit can also be provided for writing into the data memory and for storing the corresponding data in the data memory. Preferably, the data store with which the control unit is able to communicate via its data interface is a cloud-based data store.
The device can thus have, at least temporarily, a preferably cloud-based data memory, in which production planning data, process parameters, maintenance data, setting data and/or control unit-related data are preferably stored for retrieval by the control unit.
A separate data set can be stored or stored in the cloud-based data store for each bristle article style to be produced by the apparatus. In this way, it is possible to provide the apparatus with the ability to manufacture new bristle product patterns via cloud-based data storage. This can be done remotely, for example by the device manufacturer. This enables a post-operative adjustment of the delivered device for the manufacture of the bristle article.
Furthermore, via its data interface, the control unit can store data, in particular data collected by means of the device, for example via at least one sensor of the device, in a data memory. Where the data is then optionally available for analysis and/or use by other equipment for making the bristle articles.
It may thus be expedient here for the device to have at least one sensor for data acquisition. Furthermore, process parameters, maintenance data, production planning data, maintenance data, setting data and/or filling unit-related data of the device can also be stored in the data memory via the data interface for analysis and/or use by other devices for producing bristle articles. All the data mentioned above can also be automatically generated or entered or read in by an operator, for example, if the device is used for setting up, maintaining, servicing or using the device for producing bristle products.

Detailed Description
All figures show an apparatus for manufacturing a bristle article 2, generally designated 1. The bristle articles 2 which can be produced by means of the device 1 shown in the figures are, for example, brushes, brooms and writing brushes.
The device 1 comprises two filling units 3 and 4 by means of which bristle bundles 5 can be inserted into a ready-to-use bristle product body 6. Since the device 1 has a total of two packing units 3 and 4, the device 1 is of redundant design with regard to the packing of the bristle bundles 5.
The stuffing units 3 and 4 can be moved selectively and alternatively from a setting position 7 outside the working space 8 of the apparatus 1 into a working position 9 inside the working space 8. In this way, one of the two plug units 3 or 4 can always be arranged in the working position 9 inside the working space 8, while measures for maintenance, inspection, maintenance, repair, retrofitting and/or setting can be carried out on the respective other plug unit 4 or 3 in the setting position 7.
The device 1 shown in the figures has advantages, in particular in the case of a large number of tasks which are usually required on the packing unit for changing the model. The device 1 has a displacement device 10 which comprises a rotary unit 11 by means of which the two stuffing units 3 and 4 can be selectively moved from their setting position 7 into the working position 9. The two plug units 3 and 4 can be rotated about a common axis of rotation 12 between the working position 9 and the setting position 7 thereof by means of the replacement device 10. The replacement device 10 is designed such that when one of the two plug units 3 or 4 is in the working position 9, the other plug unit of the two plug units 3 or 4 is always disposed in the setting position 7.
The figures show that the substitution device 10 has a linear unit 13, by means of which the filling units 3 and 4 can be moved linearly on the substitution device 10. The linear movement of the filling units 3, 4 caused by the linear unit 13 takes place transversely, i.e. perpendicularly, to the axis of rotation 11 of the replacement device 10. The linear unit 13 defines a linear axis 14 along which the two packing units 3 and 4 can be moved from a position close to the axis of rotation 12 (see fig. 2 and 3) to an external position on the substitution device 10 (see fig. 1, 4 and 5) by means of two guide rails 34.
If the packing units 3 and 4 are rotated for the aforementioned alternation of the positions from the setting position 7 to the working position 9 or from the working position 9 to the setting position 7 by means of the replacement device 10 and its rotation unit 11, the packing units 3 and 4 occupy the position close to the rotation axis 12.
Furthermore, the device 1 comprises docking means 15. By means of this docking device 15, the plug units 3, 4 in the working position 9 can be fixed in the working position 9 and centered in the working position 9. For this purpose, the docking device 15 has two fastening means 35 in the form of fastening receptacles in the working position 9 and a corresponding counter fastening means 36 in the form of fastening bolts on each of the plug units 3, 4. The protection device 16 is configured as a protective rail. An embodiment of the protection device 16, which is not shown in the figures, comprises an electron entry limiting device, for example at least one light barrier and/or at least one light barrier, by means of which the working space 8 of the apparatus 1 is delimited.
In the alternative, the protection device 16 can also comprise a shut-off device which ensures that the functional units of the installation 1 are shut off in the event of unauthorized access to the working space 8. This improves the safety of the operation when using the apparatus 1.
For the replacement of the position of the packing units 3, 4, the protection 16 can be opened in the region of the two packing units 3 and 4. In an embodiment of the device 1, which is not shown in the figures, it is provided that at least a part of the protective means 16, for example the previously mentioned column section 17, is arranged on the replacement device 10 and moves between the at least two filling units 3 and 4 and together with the filling units 3 and 4 in the event of a movement thereof.
The packing units 3 and 4 are configured functionally redundantly with respect to one another. Each of the packing units 3 and 4 shown in the figures has a packing tool 18, a thread-conveying device 19, a beam splitting device 20 and a bristle magazine 21.
Each of the tamping tools 18 of the tamping units 3 and 4 of the device 1 shown in the figures has a respective exchangeable push tongue 22. This facilitates the adjustment of the packing units 3 and 4 when changing patterns.
A stock of loose bristle filaments is contained in each bristle cassette 21 of the packing units 3 and 4, respectively. In the case of each of the filling units 3 and 4, the bristle bundles 5 can be removed from the bristle cassette 21 by means of the splitting device 20 along a dividing movement of the bristle cassette 21 and fed to the filling tool 18 by means of the splitting device 20.
The anchor wire delivery device 19 delivers the anchor to the setting tool 18. The anchor can then be plugged into the ready bristle product body 6 together with the bristle bundle 5 by movement of the push tongue 22.
Inside its working space 8, the apparatus 1 has a plurality of stations for processing and treating the bristled articles 2 and the bristled article body 6. One of the stations is a drilling station 23. In the drilling station 23, a bundle-receiving hole 24 can be created in the ready-to-use bristle product body 6. Downstream of the drilling station 23, a filling station 25 is provided, which is essentially constituted by the two filling units 3 and 4 of the apparatus 1, which can alternate in terms of their position. Downstream of the stuffing station 25, the apparatus 1 has a milling station 26. The inserted bristle bundles 5 can be sheared in the milling station 26.
Downstream of the milling station 26, the apparatus 1 has a processing station 27. The bristle product body 6 can be loaded into the apparatus 1 or the finished bristle product 2 can be removed from the apparatus 1 in the treatment station 27.
The stations 23, 25, 26 and 27 mentioned hereinbefore are arranged to be evenly distributed around the transport means 28. The transport device 28 has a plurality of transport holders 29 by means of which the bristle products 2 and/or bristle product bodies 6 can be moved inside the working space 8 between the stations of the apparatus 1. The transport holder 29 can be moved in a plurality of axes for carrying out the positioning movement. The bristle 2 and/or bristle body 6 can thus be positioned, if necessary, by means of the transport holders 29 for processing and/or treatment at the respective stations 23, 25, 26 and 27.
Furthermore, the device 1 comprises a control unit 30 arranged to control the functional units of the device 1. In particular, the control unit 30 is provided for controlling the stuffing units 3, 4, the substitution device 10, the protection device 16 and the stations 23, 25, 26, 27 and the transport device 28.
The control unit 30 comprises a data interface 31 via which the control unit 30 can be connected at least temporarily to a cloud-based data storage 32. The cloud-based data store 32 is at least temporarily a component of the device 1 and contains data, such as production planning data, process parameters, maintenance data, service data, setting data and/or data relating to the packing units 3 and 4. Claims (15)

1. The docking device (15) has at least one fastening means (35) at the working location (9) and at least one corresponding counter fastening means (36) at each of the packing units (3, 4).

The device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the device (1) has a protection means (16) which delimits the working space (8), in particular: the protection means (16) comprise shut-off means and/or protective barriers and/or electronic access limiting means, such as at least one light barrier and/or at least one grating.
7. The device (1) according to claim 6, wherein the protection means can be opened and/or deactivated for the replacement of the position of the packing unit (3, 4).
8. The device (1) according to one of the two preceding claims, wherein at least a part of the protective means (16), in particular a column section (17), is arranged on the replacement means (10) between the at least two packing units (3, 4) and can be moved together with the packing units (3, 4) in the event of a movement of the packing units.
9. The apparatus (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the at least two stuffing units (3, 4) are functionally redundant to each other and/or each stuffing unit (3, 4) has at least one stuffing tool (18) and/or at least one anchoring thread conveying device (19) and/or at least one beam splitting device (20) and/or at least one bristle magazine (21).
10. The device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein at least one tamping tool (18) comprises a replaceable push tongue (22).
11. The apparatus (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the apparatus (1), preferably inside the working space (8), has at least one station for processing and/or treating the bristle articles (2) and/or bristle article bodies (6), in particular a stuffing station (25) and/or a milling station (26) and/or a drilling station (23) and/or a treatment station (27).
12. The device (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the device (1) comprises a transport means (28) with at least one transport holder (29) by means of which the bristle product (2) and/or bristle product body (6) can be moved inside the working space (8) between the stations of the device (1).
13. The device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the device (1) has a control unit (30) for controlling functional units of the device (1), in particular for controlling the packing units (3, 4), the replacement means (10), the protection means (16) and/or the at least one station (23, 25, 26, 27) and/or the transport means (28).
14. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the control unit (30) has a data interface (31) via which the control unit (30) can be connected at least temporarily with a preferably cloud-based data storage (32), and/or the control unit (30) is arranged for reading and/or writing the data storage (32).
15. The device (1) according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the device (1) has at least temporarily a preferably cloud-based data memory (32) in which data, preferably production planning data, process parameters, maintenance data, setting data and/or stuffing unit (3, 4) related data are stored for retrieval by a control unit (30).
