< transaction Server >
The transaction server 400 is provided in, for example, a company of various online services for performing network settlement, and has a processor, a storage device, and an interface (not shown) for connecting to the network NT.
< characteristics of embodiment >
In the above configuration, the present embodiment is characterized by the following processing: with the prepaid print service, only the history of events such as purchase of print authority and printing, which have been performed by the user who owns the mobile terminal 300, is displayed on the mobile terminal 300. The event histories of all users are displayed to the system manager of the print service providing system 1.
< management of prepaid print service and event histories >
The prepaid printing service and the event history of the example of the present embodiment will be described. As described above, in the print service providing system 1 of the present embodiment, the management server 100, the multifunction device 200, the mobile terminal 300, and the transaction server 400 are connected via the network NT, and can transmit and receive information. As a mode of information transmission/reception, as shown in fig. 3, a plurality of mobile terminals 300 owned by a plurality of users and a plurality of multifunction machines 200 installed in each place transmit/receive information only individually to/from the management server 100, and the management server 100 centrally manages events performed on all the mobile terminals 300 and all the multifunction machines 200.
Here, the prepaid printing service provided by the printing service providing system l refers to a service for purchasing a predetermined number of printing authorities for a specific multifunction device 200 specified by the user itself via the mobile terminal 300, that is, a fee-based system in advance, and printing only a predetermined guaranteed printing amount purchased as a printing authority is printed in the target multifunction device 200. At this time, the management server 100 directly receives a purchase request for printing rights from the mobile terminal 300, and applies the printing rights to the specified multifunction device 200. In this case, the process of receiving the purchase request of the print authority by the mobile terminal 300 is an example of the acquisition request receiving step and the acquisition request receiving process.
In the prepaid printing service described above, the printing authority that the user can purchase for each individual of the multifunction machine 200 is the number of top-up sheets, and it is possible to select and purchase from a plurality of kinds of top-up services, for example, 100 sheets=100 yen, 300 sheets=250 yen, and the like. The user can accumulate the number of rechargeable sheets repeatedly purchased by the multi-function device 200 as the printable number, and can print each time the multi-function device 200 instructed by the mobile terminal 300 performs print processing, until the printable number is reduced to 0. Therefore, the management server 100 sequentially records the number of purchased pieces from which mobile terminal 300 to which multi-function device 200, and manages the history of all event information such as printing (see fig. 8 described later). The above-described printable number of sheets is one example of the allowable print amount.
In the example of the present embodiment, the number of printable sheets managed by each multifunction device 200 can be shared by a plurality of users, that is, by a plurality of mobile terminals 300. For example, in the multifunction device 200 installed in an environment where only a plurality of users, such as offices, can use, the number of printable sheets calculated as a result of print authority purchase and print event for each individual multifunction device 200 by the respective mobile terminals 300 is shared and used by all of these users. Further, the user who has made an event of purchasing print authority is an example of a settlement user.
In the print service providing system 1 based on the above-described utilization method, each user may want to check the history of events that have been performed in the past by the mobile terminal 300. In contrast, in the present embodiment, for example, as shown in fig. 4, when a single user uses a plurality of multifunction devices 200, each individual of the multifunction devices 200 is discriminated to display an event history on the mobile terminal 300. As shown in fig. 5, when a plurality of users use a single multifunction device 200, only event histories performed by the respective users are displayed. Further, as shown in fig. 6, even when the mobile terminal 300 is changed due to, for example, the user changing the model, the event history is continuously displayed without performing new setting registration. Although not particularly shown in the figure, event histories of all users are displayed only to the system manager of the print service providing system l and the setting manager of the multifunction device 200.
In the present embodiment, the management server 100 stores all the event management tables shown in fig. 7 so that the event history can be displayed in the manner described above. In the all-event management table, for events instructed to be executed by all mobile terminals 300 to the management server 100, the following items are recorded in the execution order of the events: the "event content" of the execution; the "date" of execution; "user identification information" indicating a user who performed the event; "object multifunction machine ID" (an example of identification information), that is, ID of the multifunction machine 200 that is the object of event execution; when the event is a purchase, "commodity" representing the content of a specific recharge number and "price" thereof; "increase/decrease" of the printable number of sheets of the multifunction machine 200 in each event of purchase and printing; and "current" indicating the number of printable sheets of the multifunction device 200 at the time point calculated by the addition and subtraction. The information of each item of each event is an example of settlement information, and the entire contents of the entire event management table are an example of second settlement information, wherein when the event is a purchase, the information of at least one item of "commodity", "price" and "increase and decrease" is an example of purchase history information, and when the event is a print, the information of at least one item of "event content", "increase and decrease" and "current" is an example of print history information.
In the example of the present embodiment, the mail address of the user registered in advance for the purpose of receipt transmission or the like is used as the user identification information. The mail address is information capable of uniquely determining the individual of the user, and the same mail address is often continued to be used even in the case where the mobile terminal 300 is changed, and therefore, even if the mobile terminal 300 is changed due to the replacement of the model as described above, the same user can be identified based on the mail address. In the example shown in the figure, all the event management tables collectively record events to be executed for all the object multifunction device IDs, but the event management tables may be created separately for each object multifunction device ID (not shown in the figure).
In the data storage area 352 of the mass storage device 350, each mobile terminal 300 stores in advance a user event management table (not shown in the figure) of the total event management tables, which is defined by only events instructed and executed by the user of the mobile terminal 300. Although not particularly shown in the drawing, the user event management table can be stored and managed only by the mobile terminal 300 for items (date, user identification information, object multifunction machine ID, commodity, price) related to past instructions, purchases performed, and print events of the user themselves. In this case, the content of the user event management table is one example of the first settlement information. However, since the printable number of sheets in the target multifunction device 200 at this time is stored only in the management server 100, when the item of the printable number is included in the user event management table and stored, the item is automatically downloaded and stored from the management server 100 at an appropriate timing such as after execution of each event. Further, the settlement information, the first settlement information, and the second settlement information may not include information related to the print event, but may be constituted only by information related to the purchase event.
< concrete display mode concerning event histories >
In the present embodiment, the user can display the event history of the user according to the screen transition shown in fig. 8 by performing an appropriate instruction operation via the application specific application (application) in the mobile terminal 300 with respect to the event information managed as described above.
First, when the dedicated application is started, each of the plurality of multifunction machines 200 to be instructed by the user is displayed in a list by icon on the device list screen shown in the upper left corner (a) of fig. 8 on the touch panel 340. Although the names of the multifunction machines 200 to be instructed are displayed in the example shown in the figure, the user can more clearly distinguish between the multifunction machines 200 by adding supplementary information such as the manufacturer, model, installation place, and installation number.
When the user presses an icon of the device as the instruction object in the touch panel 340 to select the device, a function selection screen shown in (b) of fig. 8 is displayed next. In the example shown in the figure, a case where the apparatus a is selected is shown. On the function selection screen, each of a plurality of functions executable in the multifunction device 200 of the selected device a is displayed in a list by way of icons. In the example shown in the figure, three functions of "scan", "print" and "history display" are displayed, and when the user selects the "print" function, the prepaid print service can be provided. At this time, execution of the following events or the like (not shown) can be instructed: printing with the number of printable sheets in the apparatus a at the time point as an upper limit; print rights are purchased through the transaction server 400 as needed.
When the user presses the "history display" icon on the function selection screen, a history screen shown in fig. 8 (c) is displayed next. At this time, based on the above-described user event management table stored in the data storage area 352 of the mass storage device 350 in advance in the mobile terminal 300, a list of events that the user has instructed to execute in the past to the targeted multifunction device 200 (device a) is displayed on the history screen. In the example shown in the figure, the date, the event content, and the increase or decrease in the number of printable sheets are displayed in a list in the order of execution of the events. When the display area of the touch panel 340 is large, or when the display area is properly scroll-displayed, other items such as the number of printable sheets at that time point (not shown in the figure) may be displayed together.
Further, a "display all histories" icon is displayed below the history screen, and when a pressing operation is performed, a PIN code confirmation screen as shown in fig. 8 (d) is displayed. The PIN code confirmation screen is a screen for inputting a 4-bit PIN code known in advance only to a system manager of the printing service providing system 1 or a setting manager of the multifunction machine 200 (apparatus a) or the like. In this PIN code confirmation screen, when an incorrect PIN code is input, the history screen is returned, and when an correct PIN code is input, an instruction of a valid manager is recognized, and all history screens shown in fig. 8 (e) are displayed. The PIN code is an example of collation information. Further, not limited to the PIN code, a password or the like known only to the manager may be input as collation information. In fig. 8 (e), the entire history screen is enlarged so that the display content can be easily seen.
When displaying the all history screen, the mobile terminal 300 accesses the management server 100 to download the entire contents of the entire event management table, and searches for and displays in a list the event information that is executed only in correspondence with the ID of the multifunction device 200 (device a). Alternatively, the ID of the multifunction device 200 may be transmitted when the management server 100 is accessed, and only the corresponding event information may be received from the management server 100.
In the all history screen, all of the event information for purchase or printing by the user of the mobile terminal 300 and other users using the multifunction device 200 is displayed in a list in the execution order. In the all history screen, a mail address as user identification information is displayed together so that it can be confirmed which event is executed by which user. In the example shown in the figure, the display is performed in a different display manner (display with bold letters and underlines in the example shown in the figure) that can be distinguished from events performed by other users. Thus, only the manager with authority can confirm all the event histories of other users that the general user should not browse in all the history screens.
< control procedure >
In order to realize the processing method of the history display in the present embodiment, an example of the control procedure executed by the CPU 310 of the mobile terminal 300 will be described with reference to the flowchart of fig. 9. When the above-described dedicated application is started in the mobile terminal 300, the CPU 310 starts execution of the flow.
First, in S5, the device list screen shown in fig. 8 a is displayed on the liquid crystal display of the touch panel 340, and the user performs a pressing operation on the touch panel (simply referred to as "operation unit" in the drawing) of the touch panel 340 to receive identification information of the multifunction device 200 (device) to be instructed. Next, in S10, the ID of the corresponding multifunction device 200 is specified based on the received identification information. The correspondence relationship between the identification information and the ID of the multifunction machine 200 is determined based on a correlation stored in advance in a correspondence table not particularly shown in the figure.
In the next step S15, it is determined whether or not the user has pressed the icon displayed in the history on the function selection screen shown in fig. 8 (b) displayed on the touch panel 340. When the icon other than the history display is pressed, the judgment condition is not satisfied (S15: NO), and after the multifunction operation processing of S20 of operating the multifunction device 200 with another scanning or printing function is executed, the process proceeds to S40. On the other hand, when the icon displayed in the history is pressed, the judgment condition is satisfied (yes in S15), and the process proceeds to S25.
In S25, only event information corresponding to the ID of the multifunction device 200 selected as the instruction target is acquired from the user event management table stored in advance in the data storage area 352 of the mass storage device 350 of the mobile terminal 300.
Next, the process proceeds to S30, and the event information acquired from the user event management table is displayed on the history screen of fig. 8 (c). In S35, it is determined whether or not the user has pressed the "display all histories" button on the history screen. If the pressing operation is not performed, the judgment condition is not satisfied (no in S35), and the process proceeds to S40. In S40, it is determined whether or not the user has performed a predetermined end operation for the dedicated application. When the end operation is performed, the judgment condition is satisfied (S40: yes), and the present flow is ended. On the other hand, when the end operation is not performed, the judgment condition is not satisfied (S40: NO), and the process returns to S30.
On the other hand, in the judgment in S35, when the user presses the "display all histories" button on the history screen, the judgment condition is satisfied (yes in S35), and the process proceeds to S45. In S45, the process stands by until the user inputs a 4-bit PIN code in the PIN code confirmation screen of (d) in fig. 8 displayed on the touch panel 340, and when the input is detected, the process proceeds to S50. In S50, it is judged whether the inputted PIN is valid, and if not, the judgment condition is not satisfied (S50: NO), and the process returns to S30. On the other hand, if the inputted PIN is valid, the judgment condition is satisfied (S50: yes), and the process proceeds to S55.
In S55, the mobile terminal 300 accesses the management server 100, downloads the entire contents of the entire event management table, searches for and acquires only the event information corresponding to the ID of the multifunction device 200 selected as the instruction target, and in S60, displays the acquired event information on the entire history screen in (e) of fig. 8. In the next step S65, the process is cycled to standby until the user presses the "back" button on the all-history screen, and the process proceeds to step S40 when the back operation is detected.
In the above description, the flowchart shown in fig. 9 is an example of the print authority purchase management program, the process of S5 is an example of the identification information acquisition step and the identification information acquisition process, the process of S10 is an example of the printing apparatus identification step and the printing apparatus identification process, the process of S55 is an example of the settlement information acquisition step and the settlement information acquisition process, the process of S30 is an example of the first settlement information display step and the first settlement information display process, the process of S60 is an example of the second settlement information display step and the second settlement information display process, and the process of S45 is an example of the collation information reception step.
< Effect of the embodiment >
As described above, the print service providing system 1 of the present embodiment is configured so that the mobile terminal 300 can communicate with the management server 100 capable of communicating with the multifunction device 200. When the user of the multi-function machine 200 makes a purchase request for printing authority via the touch panel 340 of the mobile terminal 300, the request is accepted through a process separately executed by the CPU 310 of the mobile terminal 300. The user can execute printing of the printable number of sheets, which is the prescribed guaranteed print amount guaranteed by the purchased print authority, in the multifunction machine 200. When there are a plurality of users of the multifunction device 200, the respective guaranteed print amounts of the print authorities purchased by the plurality of users are accumulated, and each user can perform printing with the accumulated value of the guaranteed print amounts as an upper limit.
The CPU 310 of the mobile terminal 300 executes the respective processes of S5, S10, S30, S60. When the user who wants to view the purchase history of the printing authority in the desired multifunction device 200 inputs the identification information of the multifunction device 200 in the touch panel 340 of the mobile terminal 300, the input is accepted in the process of S5. In the process of S10, the multifunction machine 200 as a processing object is identified and determined based on the inputted and accepted identification information. When a specific multifunctional machine 200 is identified, information of a user event management table related to settlement performed in the mobile terminal 300 among event information related to settlement performed for print authority purchase of the specific multifunctional machine 200 is acquired in the process of S25, and the acquired information is displayed on the touch panel 340 in the process of S30. In the process of S60, information of all event management tables related to settlement performed in all mobile terminals 300 including the mobile terminal 300 and other mobile terminals 300 among event information related to settlement performed for print authority purchase of the specific multi function machine 200 is displayed on the touch panel 340.
According to the present embodiment, in the process of S60, since print authority purchase histories of all users can be displayed for each of a plurality of users using the multifunction device 200, it is possible to prevent occurrence of insufficient print quality while preventing duplicate purchase with other users.
In the present embodiment, the mobile terminal 300 is a mobile information terminal such as a smart phone which is less likely to be shared by a plurality of users, and information on a user event management table concerning settlement executed in the mobile terminal 300 at the time of purchase of printing authority of the specific multifunction device 200 is stored in the data storage area 352 of the mobile terminal 300. According to the present embodiment, in the process of S30, by displaying the information of the user event management table stored in the data storage area 352, the information of the user event management table can be displayed through quick and simple processing without performing communication with the management server 100.

In the present embodiment, information of all event management tables of all mobile terminals 300 executed at the time of purchase of printing authority of a specific multifunction device 200 is stored in the management server 100. When the user inputs the PIN code via the touch panel 340, acceptance is made in the process of S45. By accepting the correct PIN code, in the process of S55, information of all event management tables stored in the management server 100 is acquired, and in the process of S60, it is displayed on the touch panel 340. According to the present embodiment, since the information of all the event management tables is acquired and displayed from the management server 100 only when the correct PIN code is input by the user, the information of all the event management tables can be displayed only for a predetermined limited user.
In the present embodiment, when information of the user event management table and/or information of all the event management tables is displayed on the touch panel 340, a user identification identifier such as a mail address used for user settlement is displayed at once. According to the present embodiment, the user identification is displayed together with the information of the user event management table and/or the information of all the event management tables, so that the user can reliably confirm who the settlement person is at each settlement.
The user identification information may be identification information other than the mail address, and may be, for example, a device ID, an IP address, or the like of the mobile terminal 300, as long as the user identification information can be identified.
In the present embodiment, the multifunction device 200 can execute printing with the number of printable sheets, which is the allowable printing amount, as an upper limit. When there are a plurality of users of the multifunction device 200, the cumulative value of the guaranteed printing amounts of the printing authorities purchased by the plurality of users is the allowable printing amount, and each user can perform printing with the allowable printing amount as an upper limit. When the printing authority is purchased, the printing permission amount is increased by increasing the guaranteed printing amount ensured by the printing authority. According to the present embodiment, since the information of at least one item of "commodity", "price" and "increase/decrease" is displayed together with the information of the user event management table and/or the information of all event management tables, the user can reliably confirm that the allowable printing amount accompanies the purchase printing authority increasing operation.
In the present embodiment, the multifunction device 200 can execute printing with the allowable printing amount as the upper limit. When there are a plurality of users of the multifunction device 200, the cumulative value of the guaranteed printing amounts of the printing authorities purchased by the plurality of users is the allowable printing amount, and each user can perform printing with the allowable printing amount as an upper limit. When printing is performed, the printing-permitted amount is reduced according to the amount consumed to perform printing. According to the present embodiment, since the information of at least one item of "event content", "increase/decrease", and "current" is displayed together with the information of the user event management table and/or the information of all event management tables, the user can reliably confirm that the print permission amount accompanies the purchase of the print permission and then execute the print reduction operation.

In this case, the operation terminal is an example of the terminal apparatus.
Further, the operation terminal constituted by the general-purpose PC may be shared by a plurality of users, and it is not preferable to store a user event management table for managing only event information executed by a specific user in the past in the storage device of the general-purpose PC. Therefore, when the operation terminal only browses the event history of the user itself, user identification information such as a mail address is input at the time of starting the dedicated application, and all event information of all event management tables is acquired from the management server 100. Then, only the information corresponding to the user event management table corresponding to the user identification information in all the event management tables is displayed. That is, the process of inputting the user identification information is also performed before the process of S5 in the flowchart of fig. 9, and in the process of S25, all the event information of all the event management tables is acquired from the management server 100, and in the process of S30, only the event information corresponding to the user event management table among them is displayed. In this case, the process of S55 is not required. In the process of S25, only the information corresponding to the user event management table corresponding to the user identification information may be acquired from all the event management tables of the management server 100, and displayed in the process of S30.
As described above, the print service providing system 1 according to the present modification example is a terminal such as a general-purpose PC which may be shared by a plurality of users as an operation terminal, and information corresponding to a user event management table concerning settlement executed in the operation terminal at the time of purchase of printing authority of the specific multifunction device 200 is stored in the management server 100. According to this modification, the information corresponding to the user event management table is acquired from the management server 100 in the process of S25, and the information corresponding to the user event management table is displayed in the process of S30, whereby the information corresponding to the user event management table can be displayed by smooth processing of communication with the management server 100.
In the present modification, even when a single user uses a plurality of terminal devices such as the mobile terminal 300 and the operation terminal, the user identification information can be used to browse only the event histories that the single user has executed in the past for the target multifunction device 200. By further inputting the valid PIN code, it is possible to browse the event histories of all users to the target multifunction device 200. In this case, the individual user is an example of the arbitrator, the entire users are an example of the entire arbitrators, the event history information of the individual user is an example of the third settlement information, the process of S30 is an example of the third settlement information display step and the third settlement information display process, the event history information of the entire users is an example of the fourth settlement information, and the process of S60 is an example of the fourth settlement information display step and the fourth settlement information display process. The third settlement information may not include information related to the print event, and may be composed of only information related to the purchase event.
In the above description, the flow chart shown in fig. 9 and the like does not limit the present invention to the process shown in the flow chart, and processes may be added, deleted, or the order of the processes may be changed within a range not departing from the gist and technical idea of the present invention.
In addition to the above description, the methods of the above embodiments and the modifications may be appropriately combined and used.
Although examples are not given one by one, various modifications can be made within a range not departing from the gist and technical idea of the present invention.
