技术领域
本发明涉及一种用于视频分组传输的无线通信系统,更具体地,涉及一种考虑视频数据的重要程度确定是否发送视频分组数据的无线通信系统。
背景技术
通常,在无线通信系统中,通过视频编译码器编码用于视频分组传输的移动图片信息,通过无线信道发送编码数据和在通过无线通信系统的相应层之后向其添加的诸如报头的信息项。
图1是用于视频分组传输的常规无线传输系统的方框图。图1所示的无线传输系统包括视频编码器100、分组单元102和无线发射机104。视频编码器100编码待发送的移动图像。分组单元102以分组数据形式划分编码数据并向每个分组添加诸如报头的信息项。无线发射机104通过无线信道同步发送视频分组数据。在此情况下,视频编码器100必须以小于所允许信道带宽的编码速率生成视频数据。这是因为诸如报头的信息项被添加给通过无线通信系统的较低层即分组单元102和无线发射机104的信道发送的数据。因此,视频编码器100生成适合于所允许的信道带宽的视频数据。
然而,当要求以大于信道带宽的传输速率发送视频数据时,即当要求发送大量视频数据时,缓冲和发送一定量的数据以便信道带宽处理该数据量。因此,缓冲的数据被延迟了。
为了解决上述问题,应当提供一种给出更宽信道带宽的方法。然而,因为信道的使用量增加,该方法需要更多的传输费用。
发明内容
为了解决上述问题,本发明的一个目的是提供一种用于视频分组传输的无线传输系统,当每单位时间发送的视频数据量超过传输信道带宽时,该系统能确定编码视频数据的重要程度,并且根据该重要程度确定传输优先次序或是否发送相应的视频数据。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种用于接收包括视频分组数据重要程度的视频分组数据和用于解码该视频分组数据的无线接收系统。
因此,为了实现第一个目的,在一种实施例中,提供一种通过无线信道发送视频分组的无线传输系统,包括:视频编码器,用于逐块编码视频信号;重要程度确定器,用于根据预定参数确定每块中所编码视频数据的重要程度;数据发送确定器;用于根据每单位时间发送的编码视频数据量、无线信道条件和编码视频数据的重要程度来确定发送优先级或是否发送编码视频数据;视频数据分组单元,用于分组确定要发送的视频数据;和无线发射机,用于无线发射分组数据。
在另一种实施例中,提供一种用于通过无线信道发送视频分组的无线传输系统,包括:视频编码器,用于逐块编码视频信号;重要程度确定器,用于根据预定参数确定每块中所编码视频数据的重要程度;数据发送确定器,用于根据每单位时间要发送的编码视频数据量、无线信道条件和编码视频数据的重要程度来确定发送优先级或是否发送编码视频数据;视频和重要程度数据分组单元,用于分组确定要发送的视频数据和在分组中插入表示视频数据重要程度的信息字段;和无线发射机,用于无线发射分组数据。
为了实现第二个目的,提供一种无线接收系统,用于接收在分组数据中包括表示分组数据重要程度的信息字段的视频分组数据和恢复所接收的视频分组数据,该系统包括:无线接收机,用于接收分组数据;分组装配单元,用于从分组数据中分离和表示视频数据重要程度的信息字段,提取编码视频数据和装配所提取的视频数据;和加权视频解码器,用于根据视频数据的重要程度确定恢复方法的复杂度,并使用具有确定复杂度的恢复方法恢复所装配的视频数据。

具体实施方式
下文将参考附图更详细地说明本发明的实施例。图2是根据本发明用于发送视频分组数据的无线发送系统的方框图。图2的无线发送系统包括视频编码器200、重要程度确定器202、重要程度存储单元204、视频数据发送确定器206、视频数据分组单元208和无线发射机210。
视频编码器200编码将要发送的移动图象。可以以16×16象素宏块为单元进行编码。重要程度确定器202确定编码数据的重要程度。用于确定重要程度的参数是视频数据被内编码还是互编码、编码视频数据的移动向量值或编码视频数据是否落在边界值上。通过将加权值加在上述参数上,重要程度确定器202可确定编码数据的重要程度。重要程度存储单元204存储编码块单元的重要程度。根据重要程度存储单元204中存储的重要程度,考虑诸如无线信道带宽的信道条件和信道差错概率,视频数据发送确定器206确定传输优先级和是否发送编码的视频数据。例如,如果每单位时间发送的视频数据量超过无线信道带宽和当前视频数据块的重要程度为低,则确定不发送视频数据块或降低发送的优先次序。作为另一个例子,当用户可用的信道带宽小,然而用户希望发送高质量的视频数据时,视频数据发送确定器206确定发送重要程度高的数据而不发送或延迟发送重要程度低的数据。视频数据分组单元208将由视频数据发送确定器206确定发送的视频数据划分为分组数据,并给每个分组加上诸如报头的信息项。无线发射机210通过无线信道发送视频分组。所发送的视频分组由接收机(未图示)接收,以与发送、解码和恢复的顺序的相反顺序处理。
图3A是根据本发明用于视频分组数据的无线传输系统的另一种实施例的方框图。如图3A所示的无线发送系统包括视频编码器300、重要程度确定器302、重要程度存储单元304、视频数据发送确定器306,视频和重要数据分组单元312和无线发射机310。
在此,视频编码器300、重要程度确定器302、重要程度存储单元304和视频数据发送确定器306的操作与图2所示相应单元的操作相同。
视频的重要程度数据分组单元312将视频数据发送确定器306确定发送的数据划分为分组数据,给每个分组加上诸如报头的信息项,并作为一信息项在分组中插入在重要程度存储单元304中所存储的相应数据块重要程度的数据。无线发送单元310发送已插入重要程度数据的视频分组数据。
图3B表示用于接收从图3A所示的无线发送系统发送的视频分组数据和解码所接收视频分组数据的接收系统。
图3B所示的无线接收系统包括无线接收机320、分组装配单元322和加权解码器324。
无线接收机320接收视频分组。分组装配单元322从所接收视频分组中提取视频数据,从视频数据中分离所插入的重要程度数据,并装配所提取的视频数据。加权解码器324使用其复杂度与相应视频数据的重要程度相对应的解码方法解码视频数据。例如,当所接收视频数据块出错和所接收视频数据的重要程度为低时,使用已知纠错方法解码和恢复其中出错的块。因为视频数据的重要程度为低,从与发生差错的块相邻的块的信息项中解码和恢复视频数据块。当视频数据块的重要程度为高时,使用具有更佳恢复性能的方法消除差错。
根据本发明,可以发送视频数据,通过考虑当前编码视频数据的重要程度确定发送的优先次序或是否发送视频数据,对无线信道的固定带宽控制该视频数据量。此时,当通过与视频数据一起发送有关视频数据重要程度的数据,在接收系统中恢复发生差错的视频数据时,可根据视频数据的重要程度选择将采用的纠错方法的复杂度。因此,当允许的信道带宽小和每单位时间要发送的数据量大时,因为不缓冲视频数据,可以比常规技术更快地发送视频数据。

Claims (6)

1.一种用于通过无线信道传输视频分组数据的无线传输系统,包括:
视频编码器,用于逐块编码视频信号;
重要程度确定器,根据预定参数确定每块中所编码视频数据的重要程度;
数据发送确定器,根据每单位时间发送的编码视频数据量、无线信道条件和编码视频数据的重要程度来确定发送优先级或是否发送编码视频数据;
视频数据分组单元,用于分组确定要发送的视频数据;和
无线发射机,用于无线发射分组数据。
2.根据权利要求1的无线传输系统,其中重要程度确定器通过将加权值加在参数上确定视频数据的重要程度,所述参数包括视频数据是内编码还是互编码、编码视频数据的移动向量值,或编码视频数据是否落在边界值上。
3.一种用于通过无线信道发送视频分组的无线传输系统,包括:
视频编码器,用于逐块编码视频信号;
重要程度确定器,根据预定参数确定每块中所编码视频数据的重要程度;
数据发送确定器,根据每单位时间发送的编码视频数据量、无线信道条件和编码视频数据的重要程度来确定发送优先级或是否发送编码视频数据;
视频和重要程度数据分组单元,用于分组确定要发送的视频数据和在分组中插入表示视频数据重要程度的信息字段;和
无线发射机,用于无线发射分组数据。
4.根据权利要求3的无线传输系统,还包括:
无线接收机,用于接收分组数据;
分组装配单元,用于从分组数据中分离表示视频数据重要程度的信息字段,提取编码视频数据和装配所提取的视频数据;和
加权视频解码器,根据视频数据的重要程度确定恢复方法的复杂度和使用具有确定复杂度的恢复方法恢复所装配的视频数据。
5.一种用于接收在分组数据中包含表示分组数据重要程度的信息字段的视频分组数据和恢复所接收视频分组数据的无线接收系统,包括:
无线接收机,用于接收分组数据;
分组装配单元,用于从分组数据中分离表示视频数据重要程度的信息字段,提取编码视频数据和装配所提取的视频数据;和
加权视频解码器,根据视频数据的重要程度确定恢复方法的复杂度和使用具有确定复杂度的恢复方法恢复所装配的视频数据。
6.如权利要求5所述的无线接收系统,其中,重要程度表示视频数据是内编码,还是互编码。
