Abstract
The invention provides a control method and a system for an automobile rearview mirror, which belong to the technical field of automobiles, wherein the method comprises the following steps: storing driving calibration data of a driver to form a memory of the driver; collecting eyeball and head tracking data of a driver, and matching a corresponding rearview mirror turning angle characteristic curve according to the eyeball rotation travel and the head swing angle; and calculating the required turning angle of the rearview mirror according to the characteristic curve and issuing control information. The registration link, the calibration link and the driving link of the invention track the eyeballs and the heads of the driver through the DMS (driver monitoring system) of the cabin domain controller, and the left/right rearview mirror overturning angles are obtained through internal calculation, thereby realizing that the rearview mirrors automatically control the overturning angles of the rearview mirrors to feed back to the driver to complete rear view of the vehicle along with the intention of the driver in the driving process.

In the driving process, since the characteristic curve is already bound with the ID, the eyeball rotation travel and the head swing angle of the driver correspond to the characteristic curve, and then the rearview mirror is adjusted according to the data of the characteristic curve. The characteristic curve is to form coordinate points according to the eyeball stroke and the swinging angle, and the rotating angles of the left rearview mirror and the right rearview mirror are calibrated according to the coordinate points, wherein the points are in a first-order linear relation.
An automobile rearview mirror control system for executing the automobile rearview mirror control method is shown in fig. 2, and comprises a camera assembly 1, a cabin area controller 2, a rearview mirror control switch 3, a rearview mirror controller 4, a whole automobile controller 5 and left and right rearview mirror assemblies 6; the camera assembly 1 is used for collecting tracking data of eyeballs and heads of a driver; a cockpit area controller 2 for storing a unique ID of a driver, calibration and calculation of eyeball and head tracking data; a rearview mirror control switch 3 for providing an analog input of a rearview mirror flip control to a rearview mirror controller 4; a rearview mirror controller 4 for controlling a rearview mirror angle; and the mirror controller 4 includes a control unit and a left/right micro motor; the control power supply is used for acquiring analog input of the rearview mirror control switch 3; the left/right micro motor is used for controlling the rearview mirror to turn over. The whole vehicle controller 5 is used for receiving the instruction of the cabin area controller 2 and issuing the instruction to the rearview mirror controller 4; left and right mirror assemblies 6, driven by the mirror controller 4, provide a left/right rear view of the vehicle.
Further, the camera assembly 1 includes a camera for capturing head tracking data of the driver and an infrared sensor for capturing the tracking data of the eyeball of the driver, wherein the camera is a DMS (driver monitoring system) camera.
Further, the rearview mirror control switch 3 is one of a button, a knob, a touch screen key, or voice recognition. It should be noted that, the control mode of the rearview mirror control switch 3 can be selected according to the needs, wherein the voice recognition can also be combined with the mode of buttons, knobs or touch screen keys for use, so that the control method is more intelligent.

3. The rearview mirror controller 4 converts and calculates a turnover angle according to the analog signal input by the rearview mirror control switch 3, and controls the micro motor to rotate through the turnover angle.
4. The left and right rearview mirror assemblies 6 perform turning operation of the rearview mirrors according to rotation of the micro motor.
5. After the driver controls the rearview mirror control switch 3 to obtain a proper rearview mirror angle, the cabin domain controller 2 selects calibration to finish. After receiving the calibration completion operation of the driver, the cabin domain controller 2 issues a calibration end instruction to the rearview mirror controller 4.
6. And the rearview mirror controller 4 uploads the current rearview mirror turning angle to the cockpit area controller 2 after receiving the calibration ending instruction of the cockpit area controller 2.
7. The cabin domain controller 2 receives the rearview mirror turning angle of the rearview mirror controller 4, combines the eyeball stroke and the swing angle to form a characteristic curve, and stores the characteristic curve in the unique ID of the driver.

1. the cabin domain controller 2 captures driver eye and head changes through the DMS camera assembly 1 during driving.

The passenger compartment controller 2 performs internal characteristic curve calculation on the data acquired through the DMS camera assembly 1, calculates the turning angle of the right rear view mirror through the characteristic curve, and sends the turning angle of the right rear view mirror to the rear view mirror controller 4.
6. The rearview mirror controller 4 receives the turning angle information of the right rearview mirror of the cabin area controller 2 and then controls the micro motor of the right rearview mirror to rotate. The micro motor of the right rearview mirror rotates to adjust the assembly of the right rearview mirror to a target overturning angle.

and calculating the required turning angle of the rearview mirror according to the characteristic curve and issuing control information.
2. A control method of a rear view mirror for a vehicle according to claim 1, wherein the driver driving calibration data is stored to form a memory for the driver, comprising the steps of:
the facial features of the driver are acquired to generate a unique ID, and an account is created accordingly.
