The embodiment of the invention provides a sealing device for an automobile air conditioner box and a firewall. Foam parts are often foam molded using PU or EPDM. Therefore, the sealing device does not change the existing part materials, and is low in improvement cost. The first clamping body 11 is configured to pass from the engine compartment side to the passenger compartment side through the communication hole 101 of the firewall 10, and to enter the passenger compartment 30 from the engine compartment 40. In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 4, a plurality of sleeved abutment rings 14 are provided on an abutment surface of the first clamping body 11 opposite to the firewall 10 in a protruding manner. The abutting ring 14 is easy to deform, after the first clamping body 11 is installed, the abutting ring 14 is easy to deform, and a sealing ring is formed, so that the sealing effect is improved. It will be appreciated that the abutment ring 14 is integrally formed with the first clamping body 11.
As shown in fig. 4, a slider is provided at the free end of the first clamping body 11. The slider comprises a sleeve-shaped slider body 15 and an umbrella rib member 16 fixedly connected with the slider body 15. The opening is not closed in the circumferential direction but can be one or a plurality of openings. The slider may be made of a resilient metal, such as steel, and the rib member 16 is configured as a plurality of resilient jaws circumferentially spaced apart. The effective outer diameter of the slider body 15 at the most free end of the seal member 1 is smaller than the effective inner diameter of the communication hole 101. In mounting, the slider body 15 can be positioned quickly at the communication hole 101, and the first clamping body 11 is guided to pass through the communication hole 101 more easily by the relatively smooth contact of the slider body 15 with the inner wall of the communication hole 101. As the first clamping body 11 is inserted into the communication hole 101, the effective outer diameter of the first clamping member 11 is larger than the effective inner diameter of the communication hole 101, so that the first clamping member 11 deforms to radially contract, the arrangement of the rib member 16 does not affect the deformation and radial contraction of the first clamping body 11, and the rib member can relatively smoothly contact with the inner wall of the communication hole 101 in the passing process, thereby ensuring smooth passing.
The sealing device further comprises a sound insulation mat 2. The sound insulation mat 2 is provided on the passenger compartment side of the firewall 10 in a close contact manner. And a receiving groove 21 for receiving the first clamping body 11 is provided on the soundproof pad 2. In the related art, since foam is directly formed on the front end surface of the air conditioning case 20, a sound insulation pad cannot be provided at the communication hole. In the arrangement of the present application, however, a sound insulation mat 2 may be provided between the seal 1 and the air conditioning case 20. Therefore, the sealing device of the present application can further improve the noise-resistant effect of the passenger compartment 30, and ensure the sound-insulating effect of the passenger compartment 30 relative to the outside.
A water guide rib 102 is provided on the engine compartment side of the firewall 10. As shown in fig. 3, the water guide rib 102 is configured as a protruding ring surrounding the outside of the communication hole 101. Meanwhile, a water guide groove 17 for accommodating the water guide rib 102 is provided on the second clamp body 12. After installation, the water guide ribs 102 are inserted into the water guide grooves 17. As shown in fig. 3, preferably, an arc-shaped ring 103 is provided at the free end of the water guide rib 102. After the water guide ribs 102 on the outer ring of the communication hole 101 are embedded with the water guide grooves 17 of the sealing member 1, water on the periphery of the communication hole 101 can be completely isolated, and water is prevented from entering the passenger compartment 30 through the communication hole 101. The height of the water guide ribs 102 plus the arcuate ring 103 may be greater than the depth of the corresponding water guide channel 17. After the first abutment 11 of the seal member 1 passes through the communication hole 101, the arcuate ring 103 is interference fitted with the bottom of the water guide groove 17, and a reaction force in the direction of the vehicle head is generated to the seal member 1. The arcuate ring 103 can cooperate with the seal 1 in a smooth transition to avoid crack propagation of the second abutment 12 at the water guide groove 17. In addition, the water guide ribs 102 also function to locate and define the position of the seal 1.
The size of the connection piece 13 in the front-rear direction may be slightly smaller than the size of the communication hole 101 in the front-rear direction, so that the first and second abutment pieces 11 and 12 are closely abutted to both sides of the firewall 10 after the sealing member 1 is mounted in place.
