Description

Motor for washing machine
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a motor for a washing machine. More particularly, the present invention relates to a fixing structure of a motor, which facilitates securing an installation space of the motor by shortening an assembling process and reducing an overall size of the motor by improving an assembling structure of a fixing bracket of the motor for fixing the motor driving a drum of a washing machine or dryer with the motor.
Background
In general, a washing machine includes: a rotary drum having a cylindrical shape for accommodating laundry; and a motor connected to the rotary shaft behind the rotary drum via a belt to drive the rotary drum. Such a motor needs to be fixed to a body of a washing machine or dryer, and a housing or bracket for fixing the motor is made of aluminum or bulk molding compound (BMC, bulk Molding Compound) resin. In the case of using aluminum, since noise or vibration occurs at a motor fixing portion and material costs are high, a bulk molding compound resin has recently been applied to a motor housing and a bracket. Under the condition of using bulk molding compound resin, the method has the advantages of obvious small noise and vibration and strong moisture resistance.
In a state where a fixing bracket formed of a bulk molding compound resin and a motor housing are fastened in a motor using the bulk molding compound resin, the fixing bracket is provided inside a washing machine body so that the washing machine is stably driven by a belt in a state where the motor is supported by the fixing bracket, which is representatively disclosed in korean patent No. 10-1707142. According to this prior art, a coupling hole is drilled in the lower surface of the motor housing, and fastening is performed with the coupling hole by means of a coupling bolt through a fixing hole formed in the first bracket and the second bracket, thereby fixing the bracket supporting the motor to the motor.
However, since the screw is formed in the lower surface coupling hole formed in the motor housing, when the coupling bolt is fastened to the coupling hole, there is a problem in that a crack (ack) phenomenon occurs in the coupling hole, the motor cannot be held in a firm state due to a reduction in fastening force, noise and vibration occur during operation, and durability is remarkably reduced.
In the above-mentioned washing machine motor, since the motor is assembled through the process of inserting the bearing cap into the rear bearing to protect the rear bearing, the assembly process of the motor is complicated, the motor housing and the respective brackets are assembled by using the coupling bolts, and the assembly process is complicated, so that there is a problem in that the productivity of the washing machine motor is lowered.
Further, since the above-mentioned brackets are provided in at least one, i.e., a plurality of, units, and are respectively coupled to the motor housing, not only is the assembly process somewhat complicated, but also the reinforcement function is not provided between the first bracket and the second bracket, so that it is difficult to stably couple the motor to the dryer body. In addition, in a state where the fixing holes formed in the first bracket and the second bracket are matched with the coupling holes of the motor housing, it is necessary to insert the coupling bolts to assemble the screws, and it is difficult to accurately match the fixing holes and the coupling holes, so that there is a problem in that productivity is low.
In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors have proposed a motor for a washing machine having a novel structure.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a motor for a washing machine, which can stably combine the motor and shorten the assembly process of a motor shell and a fixed bracket.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a motor for a washing machine having a novel structure in which a motor housing and a fixing bracket are accurately and easily fastened.
The above and other objects and advantages of the present invention will be readily attained by the present invention as described below.
The motor for washing machine of the invention is characterized by comprising: a motor housing 11 including a stator 12, manufactured by resin molding; and a fixing bracket 20 coupled to the rear surface of the motor housing 11, wherein the rear bearing 16 is disposed inside a resin molded protrusion 11A formed at the rear of the motor housing 11, and the resin molded protrusion 11A is forcibly press-fitted into a recess 220 of the fitting cylinder 22 integrally formed to protrude forward of the center of the circular frame body 21 of the fixing bracket 20, so that the motor housing 11 is coupled to the fixing bracket 20.
Preferably, in the present invention, a plurality of semicircular projections 240 are formed to project from the inner circumferential surface of the insertion cylinder 22 at predetermined intervals, and the outer side surfaces of the semicircular projections 240 are respectively pressed against and forcibly pressed against the outer circumferential surface of the resin molded protrusion 11A so that the insertion cylinder 22 is coupled to the resin molded protrusion 11A.
Preferably, in the present invention, an anti-slip concave-convex portion 240A is formed on the surface of the semicircular projection 240 along the longitudinal direction, and the outer circumferential surface of the resin molding protrusion 11A is kept in surface contact with the anti-slip concave-convex portion 240A.
In the present invention, preferably, an elastic member 300 made of rubber or silicone is inserted into the insertion recess 241 formed in the semicircular projection 240, and the outer circumferential surface of the resin molded protrusion 11A and the outer circumferential surface 300A of the elastic member 300 are elastically adhered to each other to be coupled.
Preferably, in the present invention, a guide projection 230 for aligning a position is formed to protrude from the front edge of the insertion cylinder 22, and a guide groove 11A' is formed on the circumferential side of the resin molded protrusion 11A corresponding thereto so that the motor housing 11 and the fixing bracket 20 are coupled to each other by aligning positions.
Preferably, in the present invention, the coupling is achieved by inserting the front of the position alignment guide protrusion 230 of the insertion cylinder 22 into the insertion hole 11B formed in the front of the guide groove 11A' and the resin molding protrusion 11A.
The invention has the following effects that the motor shell is easily fastened on the fixing bracket arranged in the washing machine body without combining bolts, the assembly process is shortened, and the noise and vibration are prevented by firm combination.
The present invention has the effect that the rear bearing is provided inside the resin molded protrusion, so that not only damage and breakage of the rear bearing can be prevented, but also the rear bearing can be protected without a rear bearing cover, and therefore, the assembling process can be shortened, and productivity of the motor can be improved.
The invention has the following effects that the bearing leg part forming the fixing bracket can be provided by forming a fixing body through the reinforcing rib, so that the motor combined with the fixing bracket is stably arranged without shaking, and noise and vibration generated when the motor works are reduced.
Also, the present invention has an effect that the size of the motor housing can be miniaturized, thereby minimizing the installation space of the motor.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a motor 10 for a washing machine according to the present invention as viewed from the front, and fig. 2 is a perspective view of the motor 10 for a washing machine according to the present invention as viewed from the rear. The motor 10 of the present invention is provided inside a body of a washing machine or dryer, not shown, in a state where the motor housing 11 is fastened to the fixing bracket 20, so that the rotary drum of the washing machine or dryer is stably driven by a belt or the like in a state where the motor 10 is supported. The term "motor for washing machine" is mainly described in the present specification, but is not limited to the motor for washing machine, and although the term is described, the term is also applicable to a motor for a dryer for laundry or other purposes.
The motor housing 11 of the motor 10 of the present invention is formed by bulk molding compound type resin molding in which the stator 12 is placed in an insert injection mold. The cylindrical first fixed support portion 14 is formed to protrude to one side while maintaining a predetermined angle to the front outside of the motor case 11. A rotary shaft 15 that penetrates the center of the motor housing 11 and rotates is coupled to the rotor 13 facing the stator 12 and rotates together, and a drive wheel 15A that rotates together with the rotary shaft 15 is coupled to the front of the rotary shaft 15 and drives a drum (not shown) of the dryer or the washing machine by a belt (not shown). The motor housing 11 and the fixing bracket 20 of the motor 10 for washing machine of the present invention can be coupled without coupling bolts.
Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the motor 10 for a washing machine of the present invention, in which the fixing bracket 20 is disassembled, and viewed from the front, and fig. 4 is a perspective view of the motor 10 for a washing machine of the present invention, in which the fixing bracket 20 is disassembled, and viewed from the rear.
In the present invention, the rear bearing 16 is provided inside the resin molded protrusion 11A at the rear of the motor housing 11, so that the rear bearing 16 can be protected inside the resin molded protrusion 11A.
The fixing bracket 20 is formed of a synthetic resin agent, and includes, in a form integral therewith: an insert cylinder 22 integrally formed to protrude forward of the center of the circular frame body 21; a concave portion 220 formed at the center of the insert cylinder 22; a plurality of reinforcing pieces 22A integrally connecting the inner periphery of the circular frame body 21 and the outer periphery of the fitting cylinder 22; a reinforcing rib 24 protruding to the rear side of the circular frame body 21; a cylindrical second fixed support portion 25 formed at the end of the reinforcing rib 24.
The first cylindrical fixed support portion 14 protruding toward the front side of the motor housing 11 and the second cylindrical fixed support portion 25 of the fixed bracket 20 are formed to protrude at a predetermined interval while maintaining the same angle, so that the entire weight of the motor housing 11 is directed to the first cylindrical fixed support portion 14 and the second cylindrical fixed support portion 25 of the motor housing 11 and the fixed bracket 20, respectively, thereby preventing the tilting phenomenon in either side direction of the motor housing 11 and stably installing the motor 10.
The first cylindrical fixing support portion 14 of the motor housing 11 and the second cylindrical fixing support portion 25 of the fixing bracket 20 are illustrated as being provided below in the illustrated drawings, but are not limited thereto, and may be located above or laterally of the motor housing 11 and the fixing bracket 20.
In order to provide the motor 10 to the body of the washing machine or dryer, coupling holes 14', 25' are formed at the center of the cylindrical first and second fixing support parts 14 and 25, respectively, constituting the fixing bracket 20.
Fig. 5 is a sectional view showing a state in which the fixing bracket 20 is disassembled in the motor 10 for the washing machine of the present invention, fig. 6 is a sectional view showing a state in which the fixing bracket 20 is coupled in the motor 10 for the washing machine of the present invention, and fig. 7 is a sectional view taken along line A-A in fig. 6.
Referring to fig. 5 to 7, a plurality of semicircular protrusions 240 are formed to protrude from the inner circumferential surface of the insert cylinder 22 at predetermined intervals, and the outer side surfaces of the semicircular protrusions 240 are respectively pressed against and forcibly pressed against the outer circumferential surface of the resin molded protrusion 11A, so that the insert cylinder 22 and the resin molded protrusion 11A of the motor case 11 can be firmly coupled to each other without additional bolts.
Further, the non-slip concave-convex portion 240A is formed on the surface of the semicircular projection 240 along the longitudinal direction, and the outer peripheral surface of the resin molded protrusion 11A is kept in surface contact with the non-slip concave-convex portion 240A, thereby preventing the motor 10 from being twisted due to the vibration of the motor 10, external impact, or the like.
In the present invention, it is preferable that the position alignment guide protrusion 230 is protruded at the front edge of the insert cylinder 22, and the guide groove 11A' is formed at the circumferential side of the resin mold protrusion 11A corresponding thereto so that the motor housing 11 and the fixing bracket 20 are coupled to each other by an accurate alignment position.
In the present invention, the stable coupling is formed by inserting the insert hole 11B formed in the resin molded protrusion 11A in front of the guide groove 11A' into the front of the position alignment guide projection 230 of the insert cylinder 22, and the motor case 11 and the fixing bracket 20 can be coupled by the accurate alignment position therebetween.
As described above, the present invention can couple the motor housing 11 and the fixing bracket 20 without coupling bolts by forcibly pressing the resin molded protrusion 11A into the concave portion 220 of the insert cylinder 22, which is integrally formed protruding forward of the center of the circular frame body 21 of the fixing bracket 20.
Therefore, the present invention combines the rear bearing 16 inside the resin molded protrusion 11A, not only prevents damage or breakage of the rear bearing 16, but also protects the rear bearing 16 without a rear bearing cover, thereby shortening the assembly process of the motor 10 and the assembly process of the fixing bracket 20 to improve the productivity of the motor, and also assembles the motor housing 11 and the fixing bracket 20 without a coupling bolt, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost of the motor 10.
Also, the present invention allows the insert cylinder 22, which is integrally formed to protrude forward of the center of the circular frame body 21 of the fixing bracket 20, to be combined with the resin-molded protrusion 11A of the motor housing 11, thereby minimizing the circumferential size of the motor housing 11.
Fig. 8 is a perspective view showing a state of an exploded fixing bracket in a motor for a washing machine according to still another embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 9 is a side sectional view of fig. 8.
As shown in fig. 8 and 9, in the motor according to still another embodiment of the present invention, an elastic member 300 made of rubber or silicone may be inserted into the insertion concave groove 241 formed in the semicircular projection 240, and the outer peripheral surface of the resin molded protrusion 11A and the outer peripheral surface 300A of the elastic member 300 may be elastically adhered to each other and coupled.
Thus, the present invention can be coupled by the outer side 300A of the elastic member 300 being strongly pressed and adhered to the outer peripheral surface of the resin molded protrusion 11A by elasticity, not only greatly improving the coupling force of the resin molded protrusion 11A of the motor housing 11 and the fixing bracket 20, but also preventing noise and vibration by absorbing noise or vibration generated when the motor 10 is driven by the elastic member 300.
It should be noted that the above description of the invention is merely illustrative for better understanding of the invention and is not intended to limit the scope of the invention. The scope of the invention is defined by the scope of the invention as claimed, and it should be understood that simple modifications or variations of the invention within the scope of the invention are included.
