The display unit 106 is used to display information input by a user or information provided to the user. 1. A display method, comprising the steps of:

the type of the communication application is a preset type;
The time interval between the using time point of the communication application and the current time point is smaller than or equal to a preset time interval;
the number of the unread messages in the communication application is greater than or equal to a preset number;
the message source is a preset message source;
the message type of the unread message satisfies a preset message type.
3. The method according to claim 2, wherein the method comprises:
the unread message is a preset message, and keywords of the unread message are extracted;
and displaying the keywords in a third preset area of the sidebar when the current time point reaches the set time corresponding to the unread message and/or when the current position reaches the set place corresponding to the unread message.
4. A method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the step S30 comprises:
determining or generating notification levels of the message sources when the number of the message sources is greater than or equal to a preset number threshold;
determining or generating a display sequence of each message reminder according to the notification level;
and displaying the message reminder in the sidebar according to the display sequence.
5. The method of claim 4, wherein the manner in which the notification level for each of the message sources is determined or generated comprises at least one of:
Determining or generating notification levels of the message sources according to the message quantity corresponding to the message sources;
determining or generating a notification level of each message source according to the relationship affinity degree of the message source;
and determining or generating notification levels of the message sources according to the message sending time corresponding to the message sources.
6. A method according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the step S30 comprises:
determining or generating an information source type corresponding to the information source, wherein the information source type comprises a group message and a private message;
the message source type is private message, a display area for determining or generating the message reminder is a first preset area, and the message reminder corresponding to the private message is displayed in the first preset area; and/or the number of the groups of groups,
and the message source type is a group message, the display area for determining or generating the message reminder is a second preset area, and the message reminder corresponding to the group message is displayed in the second preset area.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the method further comprises at least one of:
the message source type is a group message, at least one group member corresponding to the unread message is determined or generated, and at least one group member and/or the message quantity corresponding to the group member is displayed in the second preset area;

a message input window is output in response to a second trigger action for the target unread message.
