Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of wireless coverage of mobile communication base stations, in particular to a method and a system for automatically configuring an actual output power value of a repeater.
Background
The repeater network system can couple (wired or wireless) wireless communication network signals, so that the problem of the existence of moving signals in a target area is solved rapidly, the construction cost is low, and the engineering implementation is simple and rapid.
However, in the current network engineering construction, the output power of the base station may vary according to the traffic demand. A typical 100M bandwidth base station is configured with an output power of 100W (50 dBm), and when the base station is full, the output rf power can reach 50dBm. However, when traffic is not full, or idle, the base station output power may be 20-30dB less than when full. And when the repeater is on or running, during the low load period of the host base station, if the repeater is debugged to the full power output. The output power of the host base station is increased due to the increase of the traffic of the host base station, the input power of the synchronous repeater is increased, and the output power of the repeater reaches the rated power before the output power of the repeater cannot be increased, so that the saturation of the power amplifier is caused, the signal quality is deteriorated, and the user perception of the coverage area of the repeater is affected. Meanwhile, the working energy efficiency ratio of the repeater equipment is also deteriorated, and invalid energy waste is increased.
The repeater may be busy or idle when it is on for debugging. The optimal state is that when the host base station is fully loaded and power transmission is configured, the repeater outputs according to rated power. When the traditional debug is started up, a certain power allowance is required to be reserved when the repeater is started up in real time, and a certain power reservation is required to be estimated according to experience. So that the output of the repeater can be kept within the linear range when the load of the base station is increased. However, the repeater on time, the instantaneous output power of the host base station and the maximum power difference are an unknown. If the reserved power of the repeater is too large, the coverage area of the repeater and the service perception of users in the coverage area are affected. If the reserved power is too small, when the traffic of the host base station is increased, the phenomenon that the output power is increased to cause the saturation of the output power amplifier of the repeater, thereby causing the degradation of the signal quality of the coverage area can occur.
Therefore, it is needed to provide a method and a system for automatically configuring the actual output power value of the repeater, so that the repeater works in an optimal state, and the phenomenon of signal quality degradation or high energy consumption in the signal coverage area is avoided.

s3, the repeater network pipe judges whether the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain according to the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station, the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and a preset judging rule, and if so, the repeater adjusts the downlink gain of the repeater according to the preset adjusting rule.
Further, the preset judging rule includes:
if the difference between the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and the difference between the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station is greater than a preset threshold value, the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain.
Further, the preset adjustment rule includes:

Further, the preset threshold value is in a value range of 0-2dB.

Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present invention will be made clearly and fully with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is evident that the embodiments described are only some, but not all, of the embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the invention without making any inventive effort, are intended to fall within the scope of the invention.
It should be noted that the terms "first," "second," and the like in the description and in the claims of the present application are used for distinguishing between similar objects and not necessarily for describing a particular sequential or chronological order. It will be appreciated that the data so used may be interchanged where appropriate to implement in other sequences than those of the embodiments of the invention.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a method for automatically configuring an actual output power value of a repeater according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps:
s1, a base station network manager periodically counts the instant output power value and the configuration power value of a host base station with a repeater in a preset time, and transmits the cell ID (called as a service cell ID) of the host base station and PCI (Physical Cell Identifier called as a service cell physical identifier of a 5G network) to the repeater network manager for managing the repeater.
S2, the repeater network pipe periodically counts the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater under the host base station at preset time according to the cell ID and the PCI of the host base station.
S3, the repeater network pipe judges whether the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain according to the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station, the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and a preset judging rule, and if so, the repeater downlink gain is adjusted according to the preset adjusting rule.
The base station network manager counts the instant output power value of the managed base station in the appointed time, the configuration power value (full load state) of the base station, and the cell ID, frequency point, PCI and other information of the base station. The network management of the repeater also counts the actual output power value of the repeater under the jurisdiction of the base station corresponding to the CellID and PCI in the same time, and the rated power value of the repeater is fixed. In the most ideal state, the configuration power value of the host base station, the instant output power value of the host base station=the rated power value of the repeater and the actual output power value of the repeater, and when the base station power is increased to the maximum value due to the traffic, the repeater achieves rated power transmission. Therefore, if the counted configuration power value of the host base station, the instant output power value of the host base station, the rated power value of the repeater, and the actual output power value of the repeater are not equal, the actual output power of the repeater, namely the downlink gain of the repeater, is adjusted to be equal to each other.
Specifically, the preset judgment rule is as follows: if the difference between the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and the difference between the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station is greater than a preset threshold value, the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain.
Specifically, the preset adjustment rule is: and adjusting the actual output power value of the repeater to be the difference value of the rated power value of the repeater minus the difference value of the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station. The actual output power value of the repeater may be represented by M, the rated power value of the repeater may be represented by N, the immediate output power value of the host base station may be represented by X, and the configuration power value of the host base station may be represented by Y, then the adjustment rule is m=n- (Y-X).
In this embodiment, the preset threshold value is set to a value ranging from 0dB to 2dB, and in addition, the time for periodic statistics of the base station network manager and the repeater network manager may be configured to be 1 time per week or 1 time per month, and those skilled in the art may also set other values according to actual situations.
The system for automatically configuring the actual output power value of the repeater comprises a host base station with the repeater, a base station network manager connected with the host base station, and a repeater network manager connected with the base station network manager and managing the repeater.
The base station network manager comprises a first module for counting the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station with the repeater at preset time period, and a second module for transmitting the cell ID and PCI of the host base station to the repeater network manager for managing the repeater.
The repeater network pipe comprises a third module for periodically counting the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater under the host base station at preset time according to the cell ID and the PCI of the host base station; and a fourth module for judging whether the repeater under the host base station needs to adjust the downlink gain according to the instant output power value and the configuration power value of the host base station, the actual output power value and the rated power value of the repeater and a preset judgment rule, and if so, adjusting the downlink gain of the repeater according to the preset adjustment rule.
In summary, the embodiment of the invention verifies the working state of the repeater and adjusts the actual output power value of the repeater in time by periodically counting the relevant power values of the host base station and the repeater, so as to avoid the problem that the repeater cannot always be in the optimal power state and the optimal coverage state due to the larger or smaller reserved power; meanwhile, the phenomenon that the power amplifier of the repeater is saturated due to the increase of the traffic volume of the host base station and the signal quality of the coverage area of the repeater is poor or the energy consumption is high is avoided.
