Description

Motor vehicle with interior trim part forming an area for storage
Technical Field
The invention relates to a motor vehicle with an interior trim part which forms an object region.
Background
Such motor vehicles are well known from the general prior art. In this way, most motor vehicles have interior trim parts, for example, designed as glove boxes, whose storage areas can be opened and closed by means of a flap. In most cases, in order to illuminate the glove box, there is a light emitting device in the inner space of the glove box.
DE 2008 025 256 A1 discloses a glove box for a motor vehicle, in which a light-emitting means is arranged on the flap of the glove box for illumination. At a fastening part of the glove box, a light guide is provided, which has a light entrance surface and a light exit surface spaced apart therefrom. When the cover is closed, the light entry surface of the light guide of the fastening element is arranged at the light emission point for the light of the light-emitting means in such a way that the light of the light-emitting means is conducted via the light guide to the light exit surface and exits again from the light guide at the light exit surface. In contrast, in the open position of the glove box, the light emitted from the light emitting portion for the light of the light emitting device is used to illuminate the storage area of the glove box.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide a motor vehicle having an interior trim part forming an object region, which object region can be illuminated in a simple and cost-effective manner.
This object is achieved by a motor vehicle having an interior trim part which forms an area of an interior trim part, wherein at least one light-emitting means is present, the light of which serves to illuminate the area of the interior trim part, wherein the at least one light-emitting means is a component of an ambient lighting arranged outside the interior trim part.
The invention is based on a motor vehicle having an interior trim part forming a storage area, wherein at least one light-emitting means is present, the light of which (at least also) serves to illuminate the storage area.
The invention now proposes that the at least one light-emitting device is a component of the ambient lighting arranged outside the interior trim part.
In other words, the light emitting device for ambient lighting fulfills a dual function. On the one hand, its light is used for ambient lighting, on the other hand, at least a part of the light is used for illuminating a reservoir area in the interior trim part.
In this way, a separate light-emitting device for illuminating the storage region, which is usually arranged in the storage region itself, can be dispensed with. In this way, a very simple and cost-effective solution for the illumination of the storage region is thus achieved.
It should be noted that the invention can be used both for a closable storage region in the entire interior of the motor vehicle (for example, a storage region of a glove box or a spectacle frame which can be closed by means of a flap, a storage region in a center console which can be closed by means of a sliding element) and for an uncovered storage region (for example, an open storage compartment in a door stop, an open storage trough).
Ambient lighting is known for creating a comfortable background lighting in the interior of a motor vehicle. Ambient lighting is in most cases present in addition to the usual interior lighting of motor vehicles.
According to an advantageous further development of the invention, it is provided that the light-emitting means is optically coupled to the storage region of the interior trim part via at least one optical waveguide.
Due to this refinement, it is primarily considered that a portion of the light-emitting means for ambient lighting can be conducted in a simple manner towards the storage region of the interior trim part.
The following alternatives can be advantageously envisaged here:
in one embodiment of the inventive concept, it is conceivable that the light incoupling location of the at least one light conductor is arranged in the vicinity of the light-emitting means and the light outcoupling location of the at least one light conductor is arranged at or in the storage region of the interior trim part or is at least guided up to this storage region.
In this solution, the light of the light-emitting means is thus branched off directly at the place where it is generated for illuminating the storage region.
In the case of linear ambient lighting, long, ribbon-like or rod-like light conductors are generally used. Due to light losses, it is common to couple light of the light-emitting means into the light guide at the end face of the light guide and at further light incoupling points. In the region of one of these light incoupling locations, which is located in the closer region of the interior trim part, then a bypass can advantageously be routed through the at least one light conductor, which optically couples the light-emitting means with the storage region of the interior trim part. By branching light in the vicinity of the light emitting device, high luminance for illuminating the storage region can be achieved.
According to a second, expedient alternative, it is also conceivable, however, for the light incoupling point of the at least one light conductor to be arranged in the vicinity of the light outcoupling point of at least one further light conductor. The further light conductor is a component of the ambient lighting arranged outside the interior trim part. The light outcoupling site of the at least one light conductor is then in turn arranged at or in the storage region of the interior trim part or at least guided up to this storage region.
With this development, it is constructionally very simple to use the residual light of the light-emitting means, which is used primarily for ambient lighting, also for illuminating the storage region.
In order to bring the light of the light-emitting means to the storage region in a particularly compact and simple manner, it is proposed that the light coupling-in region of the at least one light guide and the light coupling-out surface of the at least one further light guide are end surfaces of a light guide of elongate design. The light guide may be in particular rod-shaped and/or ribbon-shaped.
It is particularly advantageous in narrow assembly conditions if the at least one optical waveguide is of flexible design.
In a further embodiment of the inventive concept, it is provided that the at least one light guide is provided at least in some regions with a wrap made of a light-impermeable material. In this way, the occurrence of undesired scattered light can be effectively prevented.
Finally, according to one development, it is also proposed that a movable cover element is present, which can be brought into a position in which the storage region is exposed or covered. The interior trim part can thus form a storage area that can be covered and used, for example, as a glove box or as a spectacle storage.
With the invention, therefore, an extremely cost-effective illumination of, for example, a glove box can be provided in a simple manner. The illumination of the glove box can be achieved in a particularly energy-saving manner in electric vehicles, in which energy saving is particularly important, by omitting separate light-emitting means for the glove box.

Fig. 4 shows a detailed illustration of the detail IV from fig. 2 and 3.
Detailed Description
Reference is first made to fig. 1. In this figure, the motor vehicle K is present in the region of its cockpit. Specifically, the instrument panel 10, interior trim component 20, and ambient lighting 30 can be seen.
The interior trim component 20 is configured as a glove box having a storage area 21 for storing small articles.
The pivotable flap 22 closes the storage area 21 and can be unlocked and opened by means of a handle 23.
Above the interior trim portion 20 is arranged ambient lighting 30. The ambient lighting 30 has an elongate, preferably rod-shaped or ribbon-shaped light guide 30a, into which light is coupled via a light-emitting means 30 b. The light-emitting means 30b are preferably configured as light-emitting diodes.
The light of the light-emitting means 30b is preferably coupled into the light guide 30a at the end. Depending on the length of the light guide body 30a, however, it is also conceivable for further light-emitting means to be present distributed in the longitudinal direction of the light guide body 30a, via which light is coupled into the light guide body (not shown) by means of branches of the light guide body 30 a.
The ambient lighting 30 has a strip-like or slit-like light appearance by means of corresponding light outcoupling structures along the rear side of the light guide body 30a, which are not represented in more detail.
In fig. 2, substantially only the ambient lighting 30 and the interior trim component 20 are visible. As will be clear from the figure, the light conductor 30a together with the light emitting device 30b constitutes an ambient lighting 30. Specifically, light of the light-emitting element 30b is coupled into the light guide body 30a via the light incoupling site LE1 on the end side. The coupled-in light is coupled out again in the direction of the interior of the motor vehicle K at an elongated light coupling-out point LA1 extending along the light guide 30 a.
As can be seen from the figure, the light emitting device 30b, which actually belongs to the ambient lighting 30, also serves to illuminate the storage area 21 of the interior trim component 20. For this purpose, a part of the light-emitting means 30b is intercepted by the light incoupling site LE2 of the further light conductor 31 and is guided via the light conductor 31 to the light outcoupling site LA3, which is located in the storage region 21 or at least is guided as far as this storage region. For example, it is conceivable for the light guide 31 to be guided up to the opening 24 of the interior trim part 20 into the storage region 21 or to project through the opening 24 into the storage region 21.
The further light guide 31 is advantageously of flexible design here, so that it can be fitted more easily in narrow spatial conditions. In order to avoid scattered light, the light guide 31 is also provided with a light-impermeable winding, as is also presented later.
Fig. 3 also shows another embodiment, in which, in contrast to the previous exemplary embodiment, additional light conductors 31 are arranged elsewhere. In particular, the light coupling-in point LE2 of the further light guide 31 is arranged opposite the light coupling-out point LA2 on the end or end side of the light guide 30 a. The further light guide 31 is guided with its light coupling-out point LA3 again as far as the opening 24 in the interior trim part 20 or through this opening into the storage region 21.
In this exemplary embodiment, the light guide 31 is also of flexible design and is wound with a material that is opaque to light.
This can be seen in detail in fig. 4. In which a part of the photoconductor 31 provided with windings 32 is present. The windings 32 are made of a material that is impermeable to light and are wound in such a way that a slight overlap 33 of the material results in each case.
