The gateway device and network set-top box communication test system of claim 5, wherein the main control device controls the set-top box output detection unit, the second control input detection unit, the second control output detection unit, the gateway input detection unit to be normally closed;
when the main control device controls the equipment fault testing device to be started, the set top box output detection unit, the second control input detection unit, the second control output detection unit and the gateway input detection unit are started;
if the gateway input detection unit detects that the signal of the input end of the gateway equipment is normal, the main control device judges that the gateway equipment is in fault;
if the gateway input detection unit detects that the signal of the input end of the gateway equipment is abnormal, the second control output detection unit detects that the signal of the output end connected with the gateway equipment by the communication controller is normal, and the main control device judges that a communication link between the communication controller and the gateway equipment is faulty;
if the second control output detection unit detects that the signal of the output end of the communication controller connected with the gateway equipment is abnormal, and the second control input detection unit detects that the signal of the input end of the communication controller connected with the network set top box is normal, the main control device judges that the communication controller is faulty;
if the second control input detection unit detects that the input end signal of the communication controller connected with the network set top box is abnormal, and the set top box output detection unit detects that the output end signal of the network set top box is normal, the main control device judges that a communication link between the communication controller and the network set top box is faulty;
and if the set top box output detection unit detects that the signal of the output end of the network set top box is abnormal, the main control device judges that the network set top box is in fault.
7. A method for testing communication between gateway equipment and a network set-top box, which is characterized in that the gateway equipment according to any one of claims 1-6 is adopted to perform communication test with a network set-top box communication test system.
8. A storage medium having stored thereon a computer program which when executed performs the gateway device and network set top box communication test method of claim 7.
