The thread trimming mechanism of a quilting machine as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a synchronizing wheel II disposed on the direct drive motor, wherein the synchronizing wheel II is disposed at the shaft end of the direct drive motor and fixed to and sleeved into the synchronizing belt, and the direct drive motor is screwed into a mounting hole at the rear end of a mounting base of the mechanism.
