In the above, the linear motor may be replaced by a hydraulic cylinder, an air cylinder, or the like.

The laundry appliance according to claim 6, wherein the blocking mechanism includes a driving motor, a first blocking member and a second blocking member, an output shaft of the driving motor is connected to the first blocking member and the second blocking member simultaneously, the first blocking member is disposed in the air inlet chamber, the second blocking member is disposed in the air outlet chamber, and the driving motor can drive the first blocking member and the second blocking member to move simultaneously to block the air inlet chamber and the air outlet chamber.
