Background
Microwave heating devices, such as microwave ovens, are now basic kitchen appliances. The food can be heated quickly and easily using the microwave oven, and thus, it is convenient to obtain the hot food at any time.
However, general metal products cannot be used in a microwave oven, and the energy generated from the microwave oven generates a high electric field on the general metal products and causes an arc phenomenon. Once the arc is excited in the air ionized by one or more sparks, it absorbs a large amount of energy causing severe damage to the metal article. To prevent such dangerous phenomena, microwave food containers are limited to non-metallic materials. Microwave safety test
According to the SGS test report (code T32020300394 SN), samples made of cold-rolled stainless steel material provided by the present invention were tested for 10 minutes in IEC 1700W for 3 cycles, followed by visually checking the experimental groups for any signs of damage by comparing the samples of the control group that were not subjected to microwaves. According to the invention, the test results show that the appearance of the sample made of the cold-rolled stainless steel material provided by the invention is not obviously changed after microwave circulation.
In the invention, the Cr content is 17.5-20%. Higher Cr content increases the rust resistance of stainless steel. According to comparative example 3, the Cr content was less than 17.5%, the Si content was less than 0.9% and the Cu content was between 0.3% and 2.1%, but the material had poor anti-rust ability and was not suitable for food containers.
The cold rolled stainless steel material of the present invention comprises iron as the rest, which means the remaining amount of the stainless steel material up to 100%, and thus in the above described embodiments, the remaining amount of iron may be different.
In a second aspect of the invention, there is provided a vessel made from the cold rolled stainless steel material of the first aspect.
According to the present invention, the cold rolled stainless steel material of examples 1 to 5 may be a preferred example for producing the container of the present invention.
In summary, the cold-rolled stainless steel material of the present invention can overcome the problem of the prior art that the metal product generates the arc and spark in the microwave heating device, and the test reports of the SGS and TUV certification authorities both show that the container made of the cold-rolled stainless steel material of the present invention is quite safe to be heated in the microwave oven. Therefore, the cold rolled stainless steel material of the present invention can be used to make containers for microwave heating without causing damage to the container or microwave oven.
