一种无线通信的方法和终端设备,有利于兼顾BFR的进行和终端的省电,该方法包括:终端设备向网络设备发送第一信息,其中,所述第一信息为随机接入过程中的上行信息,所述随机接入过程由波束失败恢复BFR触发;所述终端设备接收所述网络设备发送的第一指示信息,所述第一指示信息用于指示所述终端设备跳过监听物理下行控制信道PDCCH;所述终端设备根据所述第一指示信息,确定是否跳过监听PDCCH。
