Description

Underpants type absorbent article
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an underpants type absorbent article.
Background
Conventionally, in an absorbent article such as a pants-type (pants-type) disposable diaper, a front waistline portion and a rear waistline portion are joined by joint portions formed in both end portions in the lateral direction. However, in many cases, in order to reduce discomfort when the wearer walks or the like, the absorbent article is designed to have a pants-like shape by making the longitudinal length of the waist member shortest at the position of the joint. For example, patent document 1 discloses an absorbent article that can be put on by joining members provided on the waistline portions on the abdominal side and the back side of an absorbent pad to joining portions provided on the abdominal side and the back side of a waistband. Further, patent document 2 discloses an absorbent article in which a portion of each leg hole opening located closest to the waistline opening side is provided at a position laterally close to the absorbent body, instead of at the position of the joint portion formed in both ends in the lateral direction of the waistline portion.

Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
When the wearer walks in a state of wearing the absorbent product having the configuration as in patent documents 1 and 2, the lower edge portion of the front waistline portion, which extends from the lower end of the joint portion joining the front waistline member and the rear waistline member toward the crotch of the wearer (i.e., the front leg-surrounding opening), is a portion to which a force is applied due to friction of the thickest portion of the wearer's thighs. Therefore, the front waistline portion is stretched in the right-left direction, and a force is applied to the joint portion. This may cause the lumbar member to stiffen, possibly causing discomfort around the thighs. However, if the longitudinal length of the waist member is made shorter in order to reduce the friction with the thighs, the risk of making the wearer uncomfortable and the risk of tearing the waist member increase.
Further, as in the absorbent article of patent document 2, in the case where the position where the portion located deepest in the waistline opening side is located is not in the above-described joint portion, if such a portion is formed only by a cut shape during manufacture, that is, if a configuration in which such a portion located deepest is made narrowest in the longitudinal direction and becomes wider from the narrowest portion toward the joint portion with respect to the longitudinal direction is attempted to be achieved only by cutting, there is a risk that the lifting easily occurs in the direction orthogonal to the line because the line tension is not easily applied to the widened portion located near the joint portion.
The present invention has been achieved in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a pants-type absorbent article which is less likely to cause lifting and discomfort around the thighs of the wearer during use.
Means for solving the problems
A pant-type absorbent article having a vertical direction, a horizontal direction, and a front-rear direction intersecting each other, the pant-type absorbent article comprising: an absorbent main body; a waistline member configured to be stacked on the absorbent main body in the front-rear direction, and including a front waistline portion and a rear waistline portion; and a joining member in which a base end side is joined to the waistline member and which has a joining portion on a distal end side, the front waistline portion and the rear waistline portion are joined to each other, a lower end of a side edge on the base end side of the joining member is located below a lower end of a side end of the front waistline portion in a state in which the joining portion is joined to the front waistline portion, and a portion of a lower edge of the front waistline portion and a portion of a lower edge of the joining member define a portion of a leg-surrounding opening.
Other features of the present invention will become apparent by reference to the drawings and specification.
ADVANTAGEOUS EFFECTS OF INVENTION

Detailed Description
At least the following matters will become clear from the description of the present specification and the accompanying drawings.
According to the above-described pant-type absorbent article, a portion of the lower edge of the joining member defines a portion of the leg-surrounding opening, and therefore the portion of the joining member that projects downward beyond the lower end of the side end of the front waistbody portion easily follows the thighs. Conventionally, if the lower edge of the front waistline portion comes into contact with the thighs while walking or the like, the front waistline portion may be pulled in the left-right direction, causing a warp or discomfort. However, the portion of the engaging member that protrudes downward beyond the lower end of the front waistline portion is a free end because the portion engages with the waistline member on the base end side and does not engage with the waistline member on the distal end side. Therefore, the tension thereof is lower than that of the lumbar member. Therefore, even if the thigh comes into contact with such a protruding portion, discomfort is less likely to occur. Further, even if the vertical length of the front waistline portion is short, the provision of the joining member can give a feeling of reassurance to the wearer. This can make the front waistline portion less prone to tearing.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that in the joined state, the joining member includes a protruding portion protruding downward in the up-down direction beyond the lower edge of the front waist body portion, and a base end side end portion of the protruding portion is joined to the rear waist body portion.
According to the pants-type absorbent article described above, even in the case where the protruding portion of the engaging member comes into contact with the thighs during use of the pants-type absorbent article, one side end portion (the side end portion on the base end side) of the protruding portion can be firmly pressed, and this makes the one side end portion less likely to be raised because the one side end portion is engaged with the back waistline portion. Further, the joined portion has high rigidity, and therefore even if the protruding portion is provided on the joined portion, such portion is not easily lifted.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that the joining member is disposed on the non-skin side of the front waistline portion, and in the joined state, an upper edge of the front waistline portion defines a part of a waistline opening, and an upper edge of the joining member is located below the upper edge of the front waistline portion.
According to the above-described pant-type absorbent article, in the case where the joining member protrudes beyond the edge of the waistline opening, there is a risk that such protruding portion comes into contact with the skin to cause discomfort. However, disposing the engaging members below the non-skin surface side and the upper edge of the front waistbody portion makes it possible to suppress the generation of such discomfort.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that the pants-type absorbent article has a longitudinal direction and a left-right direction in a state where the pants-type absorbent article is stretched and unfolded by opening the joining member toward the outside in the left-right direction, and with respect to a central position in the left-right direction between a side end of one side in the left-right direction of the absorbent main body and a side end of the one side in the left-right direction of the waist member, a longitudinal length of the waist member on the side of the side end of the one side of the absorbent main body with respect to the central position is longer than a longitudinal length of the waist member at the central position.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the thighs are easily moved during use thereof, so that discomfort can be reduced. Further, making the length of the absorbent main body side longer makes it possible to prevent groin exposure and alleviate anxiety about leakage.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that in the joined state, the joining member includes a protruding portion protruding downward in the up-down direction beyond the lower edge of the front waist body portion, and a length of the protruding portion in the up-down direction is longest in a side end portion on the base end side of the joining member.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the vertical length of the waist member becomes longer toward the center (inner side) in the horizontal direction, that is, the vertical length becomes longer toward the side where the thighs of the wearer are tapered. Therefore, it is preferable that the protruding portion becomes smaller as it goes toward the left-right direction inner side. This makes it easier for the protrusion to follow the thigh. Furthermore, this configuration of the projection gives a neat appearance.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that a pair of separating portions each of which is a portion for separating the waist member into at least a central portion of the front waist portion and a portion of the rear waist portion including at least a central portion are provided on both sides in the left-right direction of the front waist portion in a state before the pants-type absorbent article is put on, the joining member is disposed on a non-skin side of the front waist portion and covers at least a part of the separating portion, and an upper end of the separating portion is located above an upper end of the joining member.
According to the pants-type absorbent article described above, the separating portion can be visually recognized before the pants-type absorbent article is put on, which makes it easier for the wearer to determine at which position the front waistline portion is torn.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that at least a part of the lower edge of the joining member has a bent portion, and in the joined state, the bent portion extends from an outer side in the left-right direction toward an inner side in the left-right direction and toward an upper side in the up-down direction.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, when the joining member is joined to the front waistline portion in a state where the joining member is pulled inward in the left-right direction, the bent portion of the lower edge of the joining member extends inward in the left-right direction and upward, so that the force for pulling the joining member is more easily transmitted in the same direction (inward in the left-right direction and upward). This therefore makes it easier to pull in the same direction. By providing such a curved shape, the outer shape of the pants-type absorbent article can be made to look neat.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that the rear waist section includes rear leg elastic members extending along lower edge portions in the up-down direction, the rear leg elastic members extending from an inner side in the left-right direction toward an outer side in the left-right direction and upward along rear sides of leg circumferences, the joining members are located on both sides in the left-right direction of the rear waist section in a state where the waist member is separated along the separation section into a portion of the front waist section including at least a central portion and a portion of the rear waist section including at least a central portion, and a bent portion included in the lower edge of each of the joining members extends from the inner side in the left-right direction toward the outer side in the left-right direction and upward in a state where the joining members are unfolded in the left-right direction.
According to the above-described pant-type absorbent article, after the separation, the joining member is pulled and joined to the front waist body portion. Since the extending direction of the rear leg elastic member is the same as the extending direction of the bent portion of the engaging member, the force for pulling the engaging member is easily interlocked with the rear leg elastic member. Thus, this enables enhancement of the fit.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that the joining member is disposed on the non-skin side of the front waist portion, at least a part of the lower edge of the joining member has a bent portion, the lower edge of the joining member has an inflection point at which the bent portion changes from upwardly convex to downwardly convex in a joined state, and the inflection point is located above the lower end of the front waist portion.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, when the inflection point is located below the lower end of the front waistline portion, there is a risk that the inflection point portion of the joining member comes into contact with the thighs and causes discomfort. However, the inflection point is located above the lower end of the front waistline portion, which makes it possible to prevent the occurrence of such discomfort.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that, in a state where the joining members are joined after being extended, an intersection point is provided, which is a point at which the lower edge of the joining member and the lower edge of the front waist portion intersect, and a maximum value of a curvature of a curve along the lower edge of the joining member, which extends from the intersection point to an outer side in the left-right direction and to a lower side in the up-down direction, is larger than a maximum value of a curvature of a curve along the lower edge of the front waist portion, which extends from the intersection point to an inner side in the left-right direction and to a lower side in the up-down direction.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the appearance can be made more like pants. Further, even in the case where the engaging member is engaged further inward in the left-right direction, it is easy to secure the protruding portion of the engaging member with respect to the front waistbody portion having a small curvature (i.e., the curve is gentle).
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that in the joined state, the joining member includes a protruding portion protruding downward beyond the lower edge of the front waistline portion in the up-down direction, and at least a part of the joining portion of the joining member is located inside an inner end of the protruding portion in the left-right direction.
According to the above-described pant-type absorbent article, one end of the joint member on the distal end side (the side on which the joint portion is provided) is a so-called free end. Therefore, if the protruding portion is provided so as to extend up to the left-right direction inside of the joining portion, there is a risk that the protruding portion is easily lifted when a force of the leg of the wearer is applied to the protruding portion. By configuring the engaging portion to be arranged inside the inner end of the protruding portion, the protruding portion can be prevented from easily tilting.
In such a pants-type absorbent article, it is desirable that the joining member is disposed on the non-skin side of the front waist body portion, the joining member includes a protruding portion protruding downward in the up-down direction beyond the lower edge of the front waist body portion in a joined state, and the protruding portion includes a plurality of compressed portions.
According to the pants-type absorbent article described above, the compressed portion makes it possible to increase the rigidity of the protruding portion and to prevent the lift.

Hereinafter, pants-type diapers 1 (hereinafter, also simply referred to as "diapers 1") will be explained as an example of the absorbent article according to the present invention. It should be noted that the absorbent article includes a pants-type diaper and the like.
< basic Structure of diaper 1 >
Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a diaper 1 according to the present embodiment. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the diaper 1 in an unfolded and elongated state as viewed from the skin side in the thickness direction. Fig. 3 isbase:Sub>A schematic sectional view taken along linebase:Sub>A-base:Sub>A in fig. 2.
It should be noted that the "extended state" of the diaper 1 refers to a state in which the entire diaper 1 (entire product) is extended without wrinkles by extending the respective elastic members (e.g., the absorber elastic member 50, the skin side panels 22 and 23, and the like, which will be described later) included in the diaper 1, and specifically, the diaper 1 is extended to a state in which the dimensions of the constituent members (e.g., the non-skin side panels 21, the skin side panels 22 and 23, and the like, which will be described later) of the diaper 1 coincide with or are close to the dimensions of the members themselves. It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, when comparing the absorbent main body 10 portions, it is preferable to perform the measurement and the comparison in a state where the tabs 30 are disengaged (in a peeled state) and in a pants-type state (in a state before the diaper 1 is torn at the tear line 25). In the tab 30, measurement may be performed after the diaper 1 is opened or in a state of being disengaged. Further, the above-described measurement method is an example, and measurement may be performed by other measurement methods.
As shown in fig. 1, the diaper 1 has an "up-down direction", "left-right direction", and "front-back direction" orthogonal to each other. Further, as shown in fig. 3, the diaper 1 has a "thickness direction" in which members are laminated with each other. In the up-down direction, in a state where the wearer wears the diaper 1, a side corresponding to the waist of the wearer is an "upper side", and a side corresponding to the crotch of the wearer is a "lower side". Further, in the front-rear direction, the side corresponding to the wearer's abdomen during use of the diaper is the "front side", and the side corresponding to the wearer's back is the "rear side". In the thickness direction, in a state where the diaper 1 is worn by the wearer, the side in contact with the skin of the wearer is the "skin side", and the opposite side is the "non-skin side".
Further, in the developed state shown in fig. 2, the diaper 1 has a "longitudinal direction" and a "left-right direction" orthogonal to each other. The "longitudinal direction" is a direction along the up-down direction in the pants-type state, and the "left-right direction" is a direction in the same direction as the left-right direction in the pants-type state.
The diaper 1 of the present embodiment includes: a liquid-absorbent main body 10 that absorbs excretory fluid such as menstrual blood; a waist member 20 configured to be laminated on the absorbent main body 10 in the front-rear direction and configured around the waist of the wearer during use of the diaper 1; and a tab 30 (corresponding to the engaging member) provided on both sides in the left-right direction of the waistline member 20.
(absorbent body 10)
As shown in fig. 2, the absorbent main body 10 has a generally rectangular shape in plan view, with a longitudinal direction extending in the up-down direction of the diaper 1. Further, as shown in fig. 3, the absorbent main body 10 includes: an absorbent core 11 extending in the longitudinal direction (up-down direction); a front sheet 12 disposed on the skin side with respect to the absorbent core 11; and a back sheet 13 disposed on the non-skin side with respect to the absorbent core 11. However, the absorbent main body 10 may include other sheet members. For example, a second sheet (not shown) may be disposed between the topsheet 12 and the absorbent core 11 in the thickness direction.
The absorbent core 11 is a member that absorbs and retains liquid such as menstrual blood, and is formed of, for example, liquid absorbent fibers (e.g., pulp fibers) into which a Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) is mixed. It should be noted that the outer peripheral surface of the absorbent core 11 may be covered with a liquid-permeable sheet member (core wrap sheet) such as a tissue paper or nonwoven sheet.
The front sheet 12 is a liquid-permeable sheet member that can come into contact with the wearer's skin during use of the diaper, and is formed of, for example, a hydrophilic breathable nonwoven sheet or a spunbond nonwoven sheet.
The back sheet 13 is formed to have a two-layer structure including: a liquid impermeable sheet 13a for suppressing leakage of liquid such as menstrual blood absorbed by the absorbent core 11 to the outside; and a hydrophobic sheet 13b disposed on the non-skin side of the liquid-impermeable sheet 13a. For example, a resin film or the like is used as the liquid impermeable sheet 13a, and a flexible nonwoven fabric sheet is used as the hydrophobic sheet 13 b. However, the hydrophobic sheet 13b is not necessarily provided, and the back surface sheet 13 may be configured only with the liquid-impermeable sheet 13a.
Further, leakage preventing wall portions (not shown) may be provided on both sides of the absorbent main body 10 in the right and left direction. The leakage preventing wall portions are portions corresponding to so-called three-dimensional gathers. During use of the diaper 1, the leakage preventing wall portions rise from both sides in the left-right direction of the absorbent main body 10 toward the skin side of the wearer, thereby suppressing leakage of excretory fluid such as menstrual blood to the outside of the absorbent main body 10.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the absorbent main body 10 of the present embodiment is provided with a plurality of absorbent body elastic members 50 that expand and contract in the longitudinal direction (vertical direction). The absorber elastic members 50 are each formed of, for example, an elastic thread, and are arranged to elongate in the longitudinal direction (up-down direction) on the non-skin side with respect to the absorbent core 11 (in fig. 3, between the liquid impermeable sheet 13a and the hydrophobic sheet 13 b). In the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, five absorber elastic members 50 are provided at predetermined intervals in the left-right direction (see fig. 2). The absorbent main body 10 is pulled up toward the skin side of the wearer due to the stretchability exhibited by the absorbent elastic member 50, and therefore, the absorbent main body 10 is easily brought into close contact with the crotch of the wearer, making it difficult for excretory fluid such as menstrual blood to leak.
(waist member 20)
The waistband member 20 is an exterior body configured with a plurality of sheet members, and the waistband member 20 includes at least a non-skin side sheet 21 and skin side sheets 22 and 23 (see fig. 3). In the following description, a portion of the waistline member 20 located on the front side (ventral side) in the longitudinal direction with respect to the longitudinal center position CL is referred to as a front waistline portion 20f, and a portion of the waistline member 20 located on the rear side (dorsal side) in the longitudinal direction with respect to the longitudinal center position CL is also referred to as a rear waistline portion 20b. The front waistline portion 20f is a portion which comes into contact with the ventral side of the wearer's body during use of the diaper 1. Further, the back waistline portion 20b is a portion which comes into contact with the back side of the wearer's body during use of the diaper 1.
The non-skin side sheet 21 is a non-stretchable sheet member disposed on the most non-skin side of the diaper 1, and is formed of, for example, a spunbond nonwoven fabric or an SMS nonwoven fabric. In the present embodiment, as shown in the plan view of fig. 2, the non-skin side sheet 21 has a shape that narrows inward in the left-right direction at the longitudinal center portion (portion including the center position CL).
The skin side sheet 22 is a stretchable sheet member laminated on the skin side of the non-skin side sheet 21 on the front side (ventral side) in the longitudinal direction. The skin side sheet 22 is formed of, for example, a stretchable nonwoven sheet. The "stretch nonwoven fabric" is a nonwoven fabric comprising stretchable fibers having stretchability and extensible fibers having a lower contractility than the stretchable fibers. The stretch nonwoven fabric is made by a suitable stretching process such as gear stretching. The skin side sheet 22 of the present embodiment may use, as the stretchable fiber, a polyurethane elastomer fiber, which is a thermoplastic elastomer having elasticity, and may use, as the stretchable fiber, a polypropylene (PP) fiber, which is a polyolefin resin, which is a thermoplastic resin having no elasticity.
The skin side sheet 22 is joined to the non-skin side sheet 21 by a plurality of sheet joining portions (not shown) which are interspersed, and therefore, the front waistline portion 20f is given stretchability at least in the left-right direction. In the present embodiment, the sheet joining portions are each formed using a known joining method (such as ultrasonic welding).
The skin side sheet 23 is a stretchable sheet member laminated on the skin side of the non-skin side sheet 21 on the longitudinal rear side (back side). The skin side sheet 23 has the same configuration as the skin side sheet 22. That is, the skin side sheet 23 is formed of a stretchable nonwoven sheet, and is joined to the non-skin side sheet 21 by a plurality of sheet joining portions (not shown) that are interspersed. Therefore, the back waistline unit 20b is provided with stretchability at least in the right-left direction.
It should be noted that as the sheet member constituting the waist member 20, sheet members other than the non-skin side sheet 21 and the skin side sheets 22 and 23 may be provided. For example, the waist member 20 may have a three-layer structure in which a non-stretchable nonwoven sheet is disposed on the skin side of the stretchable skin side sheets 22 and 23, and a stretchable nonwoven sheet is sandwiched between the non-stretchable nonwoven sheets. Further, in the case of a three-layer structure, the skin side sheets 22 and 23 may be stretchable films.
The diaper 1 in the unfolded state shown in fig. 2 is folded in half in the longitudinal direction (front-rear direction) at a folded position, which is a longitudinal center position CL (shown as a chain line in fig. 2), so that the skin-side surface of the front waistline portion 20f and the skin-side surface of the back waistline portion 20b face each other. In this folded state, both left and right direction end portions 40f and 40f of the front waistline portion 20f overlap both left and right direction end portions 40b and 40b of the back waistline portion 20b in the front and back direction, and these end portions are joined using a known joining means (such as seal welding or the like), thereby forming the side joint portions 40. Thus, in the folded waistline member 20 (20 f and 20 b), the front side (abdominal side) and the rear side (back side) are connected in an endless manner, and the pants-type diaper 1 is formed to have one waistline opening 1a and a pair of leg-surrounding openings 1b shown in fig. 1.
(joining member 30)
A pair of projecting pieces 30 (corresponding to the joining members) are provided on both left and right side portions of the diaper 1. The tabs 30 each include a base sheet 31 and an engaging portion 32.
The base sheet 31 is a sheet member formed of a nonwoven fabric sheet or the like. The base sheet 31 is joined to the waistline member 20 by a tab joint portion 35 on one side (corresponding to the base end side) in the left-right direction thereof, and has a joint portion 32 (see fig. 2) on the other side (corresponding to the distal end side) in the left-right direction. In the present embodiment, the side joining portion 40 of the waistline member 20 also serves as the tab joining portion 35. That is, the front waistline portion 20f, the back waistline portion 20b, and the tab 30 are joined integrally by the side joint portions 40. However, the tab engagement portion 35 may be provided separately from the side engagement portion 40. For example, in the front waistline portion 20f or the back waistline portion 20b, a configuration in which the tab 30 is joined to a predetermined region other than the side joining portions 40 by the tab joining portions 35 is acceptable. Further, the tab joining part 35 may be formed by ultrasonic welding or the like in the same manner as the side joining part 40, or may be formed using an adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive or the like.
The engaging portion 32 is a locking member for detachably engaging the tab 30 to the waistline member 20, and is provided in a predetermined area on the skin-side surface of the tab 30 (an area on the opposite side (distal end side) of the tab engaging portion 35 in the left-right direction). In the present embodiment, the engaging portion 32 is, for example, a hook-and-loop fastener which is formed of polypropylene and provided with a plurality of hook members for locking (projections for locking, not shown) on the skin-side surface thereof. These projections for locking are hooked to fibers (loops) of the nonwoven fabric sheet constituting the non-skin side sheet 21 provided on the outermost layer of the waistline member 20, thereby detachably locking the engaging portion 32 (tab 30) to the non-skin side surface of the waistline member 20. However, a configuration in which the hook member for locking is provided on the waistline member 20 side and the loop member to be hooked by the hook member is provided on the engaging portion 32 side is also acceptable.
As shown in fig. 1, in the pant diaper 1, the joint 32 of the tab 30 is joined to the non-skin side surface of the front waistbody portion 20f in a region located on the left-right direction inside of the tab joint 35 (side joint 40). It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, the tab 30 is disposed on the non-skin side with respect to the waist member 20 (front waist portion 20 f), and the engaging portion 32 is disposed on the skin side of the tab 30. However, such a configuration may be exemplified: the tab 30 is disposed on the skin side relative to the waistline member 20, and the engagement portion 32 is disposed on the non-skin side of the tab 30.
< operations for putting on and taking off diaper 1 >
Next, the operation of putting on and taking off the diaper 1 will be explained. In the initial state, the diaper 1 is in a pants-type (pants-type) state as shown in fig. 1, and can be put on as a normal pants-type absorbent article. Further, when the diaper 1 is removed from the body, the waistline member 20 formed in a ring shape along the waistline of the wearer can be removed by separating the waistline member 20 into the front waistline portion 20f and the rear waistline portion 20b and unfolding the diaper 1.
Fig. 4A and 4B are diagrams illustrating an operation of separating the waist member 20 of the diaper 1 into the front waist portion 20f and the back waist portion 20B. Fig. 4A is a schematic cross-sectional view showing the diaper 1 in an underpants type state seen from above (from the side of the waistline opening 1 a) in the up-down direction, and fig. 4B is a schematic cross-sectional view showing the diaper 1 in fig. 4A in which the front waistline portion 20f and the back waistline portion 20B are separated.
In the pants-type diaper 1, the front waistline portion 20f and the back waistline portion 20b are joined to each other in side joining portions 40 and 40 provided in both end portions in the left-right direction, so that a ring-shaped waistline opening 1a is formed as shown in fig. 4A. Further, a pair of tabs 30 are provided at both left and right side portions of the waistline member 20, and the tabs 30 are joined to the non-skin-side surface of the front waistline portion 20f by joining portions 32.
In fig. 4A, the pair of separating portions 25 are provided on both sides of the front waistline portion 20f in the left-right direction. The separating portions 25 are each a portion for separating the waistline member 20 formed in a loop shape along the waistline of the wearer into a portion including at least the central portion of the front waistline portion 20f and a portion including at least the central portion of the back waistline portion 20b. The separating portion 25 is provided somewhere in the left-right direction area from the side engaging portion 40 to the portion where the engaging portion 32 is locked. The separating portion 25 is, for example, a perforation extending in the up-down direction (see fig. 2), and by tearing the waist member 20 along the perforation, the waist member 20 can be easily separated into a portion of the front waist portion 20f including at least the central portion and a portion of the back waist portion 20b including at least the central portion.
It should be noted that in the diaper 1, the side joining parts 40 are formed by ultrasonic welding, and therefore, the rigidity of the side joining parts 40 is higher than that of the remaining region of the waistline member 20. Therefore, the waistline member 20 can also be torn along the left-right direction inner end of the side joint portion 40 where the difference in rigidity of the waistline member 20 is large. In this case, since the inner end of the side joint portion 40 serves as the separation portion 25, it is not necessary to provide a perforation or the like.
The diaper 1 separated into a portion of the front waistline portion 20f including at least the central portion and a portion of the back waistline portion 20B including at least the central portion in the separation portion 25 is in the state shown in fig. 4B. That is, the separating portion 25 in fig. 4A is separated into a separating end 25fe on the front waistline portion 20f side and a separating end 25be on the back waistline portion 20b side. Further, in fig. 4B, the pair of tabs 30 and 30 are joined to the back waistline portion 20B by tab joining portions 35 (side joining portions 40) on both sides in the left-right direction, and the joining portions 32 and 32 provided on the tabs 30 and 30 are each joined to the front waistline portion 20f. Thus, the waistline member 20 is formed in a ring shape. When the diaper 1 in this state is removed from the wearer's body, it can be easily removed by unlocking the joint 32 from the front waistline portion 20f and unfolding the diaper 1.
Fig. 5 is an unfolded plan view of the diaper 1 in a state where the waistline member 20 is separated along the separation portion 25 located on both sides in the left-right direction. The separated diaper 1 may be used as a so-called belt-type diaper in which the tabs 30 including the engaging portions 32 are provided on both sides in the left-right direction of the rear waist body portion 20b. That is, the diaper 1 of the present embodiment may be a dual-purpose type used as an underpants type diaper and a belt type diaper.
Conventional pants-type diapers are difficult to put on and take off in a toilet or the like where a wearer has difficulty in taking off his pants or shoes while going out. According to the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, however, the waistline member 20 is separated by the separating portion 25, which makes it possible to easily remove the diaper 1. Further, by setting the diaper 1 to the developed state by separating the waistline member 20 of the new diaper 1 in advance by the separating portion 25, the diaper 1 can be used as a belt-type diaper, which enables the diaper to be easily put on and taken off even in an environment where it is difficult for the wearer to take off his pants or shoes.
In such a pants-type diaper, in order to make the diaper look more like underwear, normally, the position where the vertical length of the waist member 20 is the shortest is often set at the position of the side joint portion 40. In the waistline member 20, the portion extending from the vicinity of the lower end of the side joint unit 40 toward the crotch portion is a portion to which a force is applied by friction of the thickest portion of the wearer's thighs when the wearer walks or the like while putting on the pants-type diaper. Therefore, in particular, the front waistbody portion 20f is pulled and stretched in the right-left direction, and a pulling force is applied to the side joint portions 40 and stiffens the front waistbody portion 20f, resulting in a risk of discomfort around the thighs. However, if the length of the waistline member 20 in the up-down direction in the portion from the vicinity of the lower end of the side joining part 40 to the crotch portion is made short in order to reduce the friction with the thighs, not only the risk of making the wearer uncomfortable but also the risk of tearing the shortened portion are increased.
In contrast, the diaper 1 of the present embodiment has the following configuration. Fig. 6 is an enlarged view of a part of the diaper 1 in its natural state. Specifically, the figure shows a state in which the packaged product (diaper 1) is taken out and unfolded, and the vicinity of one tab 30 of the tabs 30 and 30 provided on both sides in the left-right direction as viewed from the front side (ventral side). Here, the engaging portions 32 of the tabs 30 are in a state of being engaged with the front waistbody portion 20f. As shown in fig. 6, the tab 30 in the present embodiment includes a protruding portion 30T (a region indicated by lower right hatching in fig. 6) that protrudes downward in the up-down direction beyond the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f. More specifically, the lower end 30ebn of the side edge 30eb of the tab 30 on the side joining section 40 (base end side) is positioned below the lower end 20fen of the side end 20fe of the front waistline portion 20f. Therefore, on the front side (ventral side) of the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, a part of the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f and a part of the lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 define a part of the leg hole 1b (see fig. 1 and 6).
Since the tabs 30 include the tabs 30T that project downward beyond the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f, the tabs 30T can follow the wearer's thighs during use of the diaper, which enables a pant-like shape to be formed. If the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f comes into contact with the thighs while the wearer is walking, the stretchable front waistline portion 20f is pulled in the left-right direction and causes discomfort, or the portions in contact with the thighs are lifted. However, since the tab 30 is engaged only at one side in the left-right direction (base end side), the tension thereof is lower than that of the waistline member 20f. Therefore, even if the thigh comes into contact with the projection 30T of the tab 30, discomfort is less likely to occur. Even if the vertical length of the front waistline portion 20f on the skin side with respect to the tab 30 is made short, the protrusion 30T provided with the tab 30 can give a feeling of reassurance to the wearer. In addition, covering such a short portion with the tab 30 makes the front waistbody portion 20f less likely to tear.
In the present embodiment, the front waistline portion 20f, the back waistline portion 20b, and the tab 30 are integrally joined by the side joint portion 40. Further, since the projecting portion 30T projects downward beyond the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f, the side end portion 30Ta on the base end side (side joining portion 40 side) of the projecting portion 30T is joined to the rear waistline portion 20b in each side joining portion 40. Therefore, even in the case where the tab 30T of the tab 30 is in contact with the thighs during use of the diaper, a portion of the tab 30T can be firmly pressed, and this makes the tab 30T less likely to be lifted. Further, the side joining portion 40 has high rigidity, and therefore providing a part of the protruding portion 30T in such a side joining portion 40 can make the protruding portion 30T less likely to be tilted. Further, for example, when the vertical length of the side end fe of the front waistline portion 20f is made short without providing the joining member 30, the area of the portion covering the buttocks becomes small, and therefore the hem of the rear waistline portion 20b may slip up due to the movement of the wearer. However, by joining the side edge (side end) 30eb on the base end side of the protruding portion 30T to the side end of the back waistline portion 20b as in the present embodiment, even when the vertical length of the side end fe of the front waistline portion 20f is made short, the portion of the back waistline portion 20b covering the buttocks can be secured sufficiently large to the extent corresponding to the length joined to the protruding portion 30T. This makes it possible to suppress the upward sliding of the lower hem of the back waistline portion 20b.
Further, as shown in fig. 6, the upper edge 20fug of the front waistline portion 20f defines a part of the waistline opening 1a. In a state where the joined portion 32 is joined to the front waistline portion 20f, the upper edge 30gu of the tab 30 is positioned below the upper edge 20fug of the front waistline portion 20f. In the case where a part of the tab 30 protrudes beyond the edge of the waistline opening 1a (the upper edge 20 fug), there is a risk that such a protrusion comes into contact with the abdomen of the wearer to cause discomfort. However, disposing the tab 30 on the non-skin surface side of the front waistbody portion 20f and below the upper edge 20fug makes it possible to suppress the generation of such discomfort.
In the state before the diaper is put on as shown in fig. 6, the tab 30 is arranged so as to cover at least a part of the separating portion 25, and the upper end 25up of the separating portion 25 is positioned above the upper end 30up of the tab 30. As described above, the separating portion 25 can be visually recognized before the diaper 1 is put on, which makes it easier for the wearer to determine at which position the front waistbody portion 20f is torn. This makes it easier to smoothly perform the tearing operation along the separating portion 25.
Further, as shown in fig. 6, at least a part of the engaging portion 32 of the tab 30 is located inside the inner end 30Tin of the projection 30T in the left-right direction. The end of the distal end side (the side where the engaging portion 32 is provided) of the tab 30 is a so-called free end. Therefore, if the protrusion 30T is provided so as to extend up to the inner side of the engagement portion 32 in the left-right direction, there is a risk that the protrusion 30T is easily tilted when a force of the leg of the wearer is applied to the protrusion 30T. By configuring at least a part of the joint portion 32 to be arranged inside the left-right direction inner end 30Tin of the protruding portion 30T, the protruding portion 30T can be prevented from easily tilting.
Further, in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, it is preferable that the color of the non-skin side surface of the (entire) front waistline portion 20f and the color of the non-skin side surface of the (entire) tab 30 are similar to each other. For example, in a care diaper different from the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, in many cases, a blue or green joint is provided on a white tab, the color of the joint is visually recognized from the outside of the diaper, and the color of the non-skin-side surface is different between the front waistline portion and the tab. Therefore, as in the diaper 1 of the present embodiment, the front waistline portion and the non-skin-side surface of the tab are made to have similar colors to each other, so that the diaper looks inconspicuous and the appearance of the diaper 1 is improved.
However, in the above case, it is difficult for the wearer to recognize the position of the joint 32 from the non-skin surface side of the diaper 1. Therefore, it is preferable that each of the tabs 30 includes a plurality of compressed portions CP (see fig. 6) that compress the tab 30 in the thickness direction in the region where the engaging portion 32 is arranged. By so doing, the position of the engaging portion 32 is easily recognized from the non-skin surface side of the tab 30, so that it is easier to engage the tab 30 with the front waistline portion 20f, and the wearing ease of the diaper 1 is enhanced. It should be noted that the compression portion CP may be compressed from the skin side of the tab 30 or from the non-skin side. In either case, the compressed part CP can be visually recognized from the outside (non-skin side) of the protruding piece 30.
Further, in many cases, each engaging portion 32 is bonded to the base sheet 31 constituting the tab 30 only with an adhesive, but the bonding strength between the tab 30 and the engaging portion 32 is further increased due to the compressed portion CP. Thus, the tab 30 can be reattached without the engagement portion 32 separating from the tab 30. Furthermore, this makes it possible to prevent the tab 30 from coming off during use of the diaper 1.
It should be noted that similar colors mean that, in the Munsell color system (100 hues), their hue difference is less than 5, their lightness difference is less than 1, or their chroma difference is less than 1. And the meaning of similar color includes the case where the colors are the same.
It is preferred that the color difference Δ E is less than 1. The color difference was measured as follows.
(1) An X-Rite eXact Standard (measurement diameter: 1.5 mm) manufactured by X-Rite was prepared.
(2) The CIE L a b coordinates of the portion to be measured (the non-skin side surface of the front waistline portion 20 f) of the sample were measured at ten or more different positions, and the average values (L1 a, a1, and b 1) thereof were calculated.
(3) The CIE L a b coordinates of the portions to be compared of the samples (the non-skin side surface of the tab 30) were measured at ten or more different positions, and the average values thereof (L2, a2, and b 2) were calculated.
(4) From the above results, the color difference Δ E (Δ E) was calculated=[(L1*-L2*) 2 +(a1*-a2*) 2 +(b1*-b2*) 2 ] 1/2 )。
Fig. 7 is a simplified view of the lower portion of tab 30 shown in fig. 6. In fig. 7, the configuration of the side engagement portion 40 (tab engagement portion 35) and the like is omitted for ease of understanding the shape of the tab 30. As shown in fig. 7, at least a part of the lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 has a bent portion 30y. Specifically, in a state where the joining portion 32 of the protruding piece 30 is joined to the waist portion 20f, the bent portion 30y shown in fig. 7 extends from the left-right direction outer side toward the left-right direction inner side and toward the up-down direction upper side. By extending the bent portion 30y of the lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 toward the left-right direction inner side and toward the up-down direction upper side, when the tab 30 is engaged with the front waistline portion 20f in a state where the wearer pulls the tab 30 toward the left-right direction inner side, the force for pulling the tab 30 is easily transmitted to the same direction (toward the left-right direction inner side and upward). This therefore makes it easier to pull up in the same direction. Further, by providing the bent portion 30y, the outer shape of the diaper 1 can be made to look neat.
In the present embodiment, the lower edge 30ge of the protruding piece 30 includes another bent portion on the left-right direction inner side of the bent portion 30y. Specifically, the lower edge 30ge has an inflection point Q at which the curve changes from upwardly convex (the curved portion 30y of fig. 7) to downwardly convex. The inflection point Q is located above the lower end (lower edge) 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f. Since the curve extending from the inflection point Q toward the inside in the left-right direction is convex downward, when the inflection point Q is located below the lower end (lower edge) 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f, there is a risk that the portion of the inflection point Q and the portion inside in the left-right direction of the inflection point Q contact the thighs of the wearer and cause discomfort. However, the inflection point Q is located above the lower end (lower edge) 20feg, which makes it possible to prevent the occurrence of such discomfort.
Further, as shown in fig. 7, in the peripheral portion, the tab 30 of the present embodiment includes a plurality of compressed portions CP that compress the tab 30 in the thickness direction. It should be noted that, in fig. 6 described above, the compressed portion CP in the peripheral edge portion is omitted for convenience of explanation of the configuration of the tab 30. Here, the peripheral edge portion preferably refers to a portion having a width of approximately 3mm inward from the peripheral edge of the protruding piece 30. In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 7, the compressed portion CP is formed in a dot shape along the contour of the tab 30, but may be formed in a line shape or may be formed only in the protruding portion 30T. By providing a plurality of compressed portions CP in the peripheral portion, the rigidity of the tab 30 is increased, and the tab 30 is made easier to grip. Further, since the tab 30T includes a plurality of compressed portions CP, the rigidity of the tab 30T is also increased, so that the tab 30T can be further prevented from being lifted up during use of the diaper.
Fig. 8 is a schematic plan view of the diaper 1 seen from the skin side, the diaper 1 being in an unfolded and stretched state by unfolding the tab 30, which has been in a product state, toward the outside in the left-right direction. As shown in fig. 8, with respect to a center position CB, which is a center in the left-right direction from the left-right direction side end 10ea of the absorbent main body 10 to the left-right direction side end 40E of the waistline member 20 (front waistline portion 20f, rear waistline portion 20 b), the longitudinal length of the waistline member 20 (front waistline portion 20f, rear waistline portion 20 b) on the side end 10ea side of the absorbent main body 10 with respect to the center position CB is longer than the longitudinal length (Lf and Lb) of the waistline member 20 (front waistline portion 20f, rear waistline portion 20 b) at the left-right direction center position CB. That is, the length is longer toward the crotch side than the length (Lf and Lb) at the center position CB. Therefore, by providing a configuration in which the area covered by the waistline member 20 increases toward the crotch side and the area covering the legs decreases toward both the left and right direction sides, the wearer is made to move the thighs more easily during use of the diaper, so that discomfort can be reduced. Further, making the longitudinal length of the waistline member 20 on the side of the absorbent main body 10 (crotch side) longer makes it possible to prevent the groin from being exposed and alleviate anxiety about leakage.
Further, in the protruding portion 30T of the protruding piece 30, the vertical length of the protruding portion 30T is longest in the side end portion 30e of the protruding piece 30 on the side of the side joining portion 40 (the base end side), and the vertical length becomes shorter as going to the left-right direction inside (see fig. 6). As shown in fig. 8, the waistline member 20 has a length in the up-down direction which becomes longer toward the center (inward) in the left-right direction, that is, a length (width) which becomes larger toward the side where the thighs of the wearer are tapered (toe side). Conversely, the amount of protrusion of the protrusion 30T toward the left-right direction inner side is preferably made smaller (i.e., the longitudinal length is preferably made shorter). This makes it easier for the protrusion 30T to follow the thigh. Furthermore, this makes it possible to make underwear-like shapes while making the appearance look neat.
Further, returning to fig. 2, a front leg elastic member 28 extending along the lower edge portion in the up-down direction (i.e., the outline of the leg hole opening 1 b) is provided in the front waistline portion 20f. The front leg elastic members 28 are each an elastic member such as an elastic thread or the like, and are disposed between the non-skin side sheet 21 and the skin side sheet 22 in the thickness direction in a state of being elongated from one side in the left-right direction to the other side in the left-right direction (see fig. 2, fig. 3, and the like). In the same manner, a rear leg elastic member 29 extending along the edge portion on the lower side in the up-down direction (i.e., the outline of the leg hole opening 1 b) is provided in the rear waist portion 20b. The rear leg elastic members 29 are each an elastic member such as an elastic thread, and are disposed between the non-skin side sheet 21 and the skin side sheet 23 in the thickness direction in a state of being elongated from one side in the left-right direction to the other side in the left-right direction (see fig. 2, fig. 3, and the like).
Further, in order for the front leg elastic member 28 and the rear leg elastic member 29 to follow the contour of the leg hole opening 1b, it is desirable that the front leg elastic member 28 and the rear leg elastic member 29 include bent portions 28cv, 29cv (fig. 2) that are bent upward from the left-right direction inner side toward the left-right direction outer side as in the present embodiment.
By providing these leg elastic members 28 and 29, stretchability is imparted along the leg-surrounding opening 1b of the diaper 1, and the leg-surrounding opening 1b is easily fitted around the legs of the wearer. In particular, in the rear waist portion 20b, the leg hole openings 1b are easily lifted off or positionally displaced from the wearer's body (buttocks) due to the projection of the buttocks or the influence of the movement of the wearer's legs. Therefore, by providing the rear leg elastic members 29 which stretch along the leg hole openings 1b, the fit of the rear waistline portion 20b around the legs on the hip side of the wearer is improved, and the wearer can be made less likely to feel unpleasant or uncomfortable. Further, the side joining portions 40 each have a portion overlapping the rear leg elastic member 29 in the thickness direction, that is, each side joining portion 40 intersects the rear leg elastic member 29 when viewed in the thickness direction, and therefore, due to the elastic force of the bent portion 29cv of the rear leg elastic member 29, the side joining portions 40 are pulled obliquely upward toward the left-right direction outer side so as to conform to the shape of the wearer's buttocks. Therefore, this makes it less likely to create a gap between the joined portion and the wearer's crotch, making it possible to suppress leakage of excrement.
Further, when the waistline member 20 is separated along the pair of separation portions 25 provided in the front waistline portion 20f and then an operation of engaging the tab 30 with the non-skin-side surface of the front waistline portion 20f is performed, the following operational effects on such rear leg elastic members 29 can be obtained. First, before putting on the diaper, in the case where the front waistline portion 20f is cut along the separating portion 25 and the waistline member 20 is separated into a portion of the front waistline portion 20f including at least the central portion and a portion of the back waistline portion 20b including at least the central portion, the tabs 30 are located on both sides in the left-right direction of the back waistline portion 20b, as shown in fig. 5. Then, as shown in fig. 5, when the diaper 1 is in an unfolded and stretched state, in a state where the tab 30 is unfolded in the left-right direction, the bent portion 30y included in the lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 extends from the left-right direction inner side toward the left-right direction outer side and toward the upper side. That is, the direction in which the curved line of the bent portion 30y extends is the same as the bending direction of the bent portion 29cv of the rear leg elastic member 29 (from the left-right direction inner side toward the left-right direction outer side and toward the upper side). As described above, the bending direction of the bent portion 29cv of the rear leg elastic member 29 and the extending direction of the bent portion 30y of the tab 30 are the same, and therefore, when the tab 30 is pulled and engaged with the front waist portion 20f after separation, the force pulling the tab 30 is easily interlocked with the rear leg elastic member 29. Pulling the tab 30 makes it easier for the force for adjusting the waist position to be transmitted to the rear leg elastic members 29, and this makes it possible for the rear waist portion 20b to be disposed in a proper position, so that the fit can be enhanced.
It should be noted that the bent portions 28cv, 28cv of the front leg elastic member 28 and the bent portions 29cv, 29cv of the rear leg elastic member 29 of the present embodiment have shapes that are bent from the left-right direction inner side toward the left-right direction outer side and toward the upper side, but the configuration is not limited thereto, and for example, a configuration in which the bent portions have a linear shape extending in the same direction may be accepted. That is, for example, the rear leg elastic member 29 may extend along the rear side leg band of the wearer.
Fig. 9 is a plan view showing a state where the diaper 1 in a belt-type state is again made into an underpants-type state and is stretched. Fig. 9 shows a state in which the diaper 1 shown in fig. 5 in an unfolded and extended state is folded in half at the longitudinal center position CL, and the pair of joint portions 32 and 32 are locked to the front waistline portion 20f, thereby forming the diaper 1 in an underpants type. In such an extended pant-type state, the diaper 1 includes a point of intersection P at which the lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 and the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f intersect. The lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 draws a curve extending outward in the left-right direction and downward in the up-down direction from the intersection point P, and the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f draws a curve extending inward in the left-right direction and downward in the up-down direction from the intersection point P. When comparing the curves of the lower edges (30 ge and 20 feg), the maximum value of the curvature of the curve along the lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 is larger than the maximum value of the curvature of the curve along the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f. The curvature of the curve described here indicates a local degree of curvature of the curve, and means that the larger the curvature, the larger the degree of curvature (the sharper the bending), and the smaller the curvature, the smaller the degree of curvature (the gentler the bending). Furthermore, the curves drawn by the lower edges 30ge and 20feg do not have a constant curvature, so the maximum value thereof, i.e. the position where the degree of curvature is maximum, is compared. In the present embodiment, since the maximum value of the curvature of the curve of the lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 is large (that is, the curvature of the lower edge 30ge of the tab 30 is sharp), the diaper can have an appearance closer to underwear during use of the diaper. Further, in the case of the above-described configuration, when putting on the diaper, even in the case where the tab 30 is joined further inward in the left-right direction, that is, even in the case where the tab 30 is joined so as to fit around a thin waistline, it is easy to secure the projecting portion 30T with respect to the lower edge 20feg of the front waistline portion 20f having a small curvature (the curve is gentle).

The above embodiments have been described in order to facilitate understanding of the present invention, and are not to be construed in a limiting sense. The present invention may be modified or improved in various ways without departing from the gist of the present invention, and the present invention includes equivalents thereof.
In the above embodiment, by using stretchable sheets (for example, stretchable nonwoven fabric) as the skin side sheets 22 and 23 constituting the waist member 20, stretchability in the left-right direction of the waist member 20 is imparted. Other extensible members may be provided in the waistline member 20. For example, as shown in fig. 2, a configuration is acceptable in which a waistline elastic member 27 such as an elastic thread or the like is provided in the upper end portions of the front waistline portion 20f and the back waistline portion 20b so as to be stretchable in the left-right direction. By providing the waistline elastic member 27, the fit of the waistline opening 1a is further improved, and this makes it possible to suppress the positional displacement of the waistline member 20 during the use of the diaper 1.
In the above embodiment, the protruding pieces 30 are provided on both sides of the waistline member 20 in the left-right direction, but may be provided only on one side. Further, for example, a configuration may be adopted in which: by pulling the tab 30 provided only on one side during use, tearing can be easily made along the left-right direction inner end of the side joint portion 40 in which the difference in rigidity is large in the front waistbody portion 20f. Thus, a pant diaper is achieved which can be unfolded only on one side during use. In this case, since the left-right direction inner end of the side joint portion 40 functions as the separating portion 25 of the present embodiment, it is not necessary to provide a perforation or the like.
