According to the pants-type absorbent article, the flexibility of the waist portion can be enhanced by the non-fixing portion of the stretchable member. In addition, a region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion is reinforced so that the region functions as a column extending in the up-down direction. Therefore, the shape of the waist portion is easily maintained.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the end fixing portion is disposed inward of the lock portion in the left-right direction.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the end fixing portions are disposed separately from the locking portions, and the left and right direction ends of the waist portion are reinforced, so that the shape of the waist portion is more easily maintained.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the reinforcing means is another sheet.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion can be reinforced.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the other sheet is a film.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion can be reinforced by the film having high rigidity.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the other sheet is fixed to the pair of sheets with an adhesive, is located between the pair of sheets, and is located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion may be reinforced not only by another sheet but also by an adhesive.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the inner end of the other sheet is positioned inward in the left-right direction with respect to the inner end of the lock portion.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the other sheet is arranged so as to straddle the lock portion, and the other sheet is firmly fixed by the lock portion.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the inner end of the other sheet is positioned outward in the left-right direction with respect to the inner end of the end fixing portion.

In the pants-type absorbent article, the reinforcing means is the stretchable member and an adhesive for fixing the stretchable member to the pair of sheets.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the stretchable member in the contracted state existing in the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion can be fixed by the adhesive. Therefore, the rigidity of the outer region is further increased by the rigidity of the expansion member and the rigidity of the adhesive in the contracted state. This makes it possible to reinforce the area located outside with respect to the lock portion.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the stretchable member serving as the reinforcing means is the stretchable member having the pair of end fixing portions and the non-fixing portion, the end fixing portions are disposed inward in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion, the stretchable member is fixed to the pair of sheets with an adhesive in the end fixing portions, and the adhesive of the end fixing portions and the adhesive serving as the reinforcing means are continuous in the left-right direction.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the step of applying the adhesive during the production can be facilitated.
In the pants-type absorbent article, an inner end of the reinforcing means is positioned outward in the left-right direction with respect to an outer end of the absorbent main body.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the lateral length of the reinforcing means can be prevented from being excessively increased, and the flexibility of the waist portion can be enhanced.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the reinforcing means is disposed to extend at least from an outer end of the locking portion to the one end of the waist portion in the left-right direction.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the wide region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion is reinforced, so that the shape of the waist portion is more easily maintained.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the one of the waist portions does not have a first sheet joint portion that is a portion where the pair of sheets are joined and that is positioned inward in the width direction with respect to the end fixing portion, and the first sheet joint portion is a portion that is disposed inward in the width direction with respect to the end fixing portion and that does not intersect with a portion where the stretchable member is fixed to the pair of sheets.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the flexibility of the waist portion can be enhanced by the absence of the first sheet joint portion.
In the pants-type absorbent article, in the one of the waist body portions, a second sheet joint portion, which is a portion where the pair of sheets are joined, is disposed in a region located inward in the left-right direction with respect to an outer end of the lock portion, and the second sheet joint portion is not disposed in a region located outward in the left-right direction with respect to the outer end of the lock portion.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the second sheet joint portion can suppress the pair of sheets from floating, and the appearance of the pants-type absorbent article can be improved. Further, the second sheet engagement portion can be prevented from excessively reinforcing the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion, so that the flexibility of the waist portion can be enhanced.
In the pants-type absorbent article, the second sheet joint portion is disposed at a distance inward of the lock portion in the left-right direction.

In the pants-type absorbent article, the locking portion has a plurality of welded portions arranged in parallel in the vertical direction, and each of the welded portions has a semicircular shape divided in the lateral direction.
According to the pants-type absorbent article, the vertical rigidity of the locking portion can be increased, and the shape of the waist portion can be easily maintained. Further, an excessive increase in the length of the locking portion in the left-right direction can be prevented, so that the flexibility of the waist portion can be enhanced.
In the pants-type absorbent article, at least one of the pair of sheets is provided with a plurality of holes arranged at intervals, the plurality of holes penetrate the at least one of the pair of sheets in the front-back direction, and the waist portion has a portion where the region where the non-fixing portion is provided and the region where the holes are provided overlap each other.
According to this pants-type absorbent article, a hole is provided in a region overlapping with the highly flexible non-fixing portion in the waist portion. This relatively reduces the influence of hardening of the outer peripheral edge portion of the hole, so that the feeling of the waist portion can be prevented from hardening. Further, since no adhesive is provided in the non-fixed portion, the wearer hardly has a feeling of stickiness due to the passage of the hole. Therefore, the softness and breathability of the waist portion can be enhanced without causing discomfort to the wearer.
Embodiments of the present invention are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings
Hereinafter, as an example of a pants-type absorbent article according to the present invention, an embodiment is explained using a pants-type disposable diaper for infants. However, the pants-type absorbent article according to the present invention is not limited to the above-described absorbent article, and is also applicable to pants-type disposable diapers for adults, sanitary pants, and the like.
The disposable diaper 1 has a structure of pants type
Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a pants-type disposable diaper 1 (hereinafter referred to as "diaper"). Fig. 2 is a schematic plan view of the diaper 1 in a developed state and in an extended state. Fig. 3 is a schematic sectional view taken along line I-I in fig. 2. The "developed state" in the pants-type diaper refers to a state in which the diaper 1 is developed in the longitudinal direction by separating the pair of waist portions 20 and 30 by releasing the locking portions 40 described later.
In the pants-type state shown in fig. 1, the diaper 1 has a left-right direction, a top-bottom direction, and a front-back direction, and is formed with a waist opening BH and a pair of leg hole openings LH. In the up-down direction, the waistline side is defined as the upper side and the crotch side as the lower side. In the front-rear direction, the side closer to the ventral side of the wearer is defined as the front side, and the side closer to the dorsal side of the wearer is defined as the rear side. Further, as shown in fig. 3, the direction in which the constituent members of the diaper 1 are superposed on each other will be referred to as the thickness direction. In the thickness direction, the side that contacts the wearer is defined as the skin side, and the side that does not contact the wearer is defined as the non-skin side.
Further, the diaper 1 includes a pair of waist portions 20 and 30 and an absorbent main body 10. Of the pair of waist portions 20 and 30, a portion applied to the abdomen side of the wearer is referred to as an abdomen-side waist portion 20, and a portion applied to the back side of the wearer is referred to as a back-side waist portion 30.
In the diaper 1 in the developed state shown in fig. 2, the end portion on one side in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body 10 is disposed in the center portion in the left-right direction of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20, and the end portion on the other side in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent main body 10 is disposed in the center portion in the left-right direction of the back-side waistline portion 30. In the diaper 1 in the developed state, the absorbent main body 10 is folded in half at substantially the longitudinal center, and both right and left direction side portions of each of the abdomen-side waist portion 20 and the back-side waist portion 30 are locked by a pair of locking portions 40, thereby forming the diaper 1 in the pants-type state shown in fig. 1. The locking method of the locking portion 40 can be exemplified by welding, bonding with an adhesive, or the like.
As shown in fig. 3, the absorbent main body 10 includes: an absorbent body 11; a liquid-permeable topsheet 12 disposed on the skin side of the absorbent body 11; a liquid-impermeable back sheet 13 disposed on the non-skin side with respect to the absorbent body 11; and an outer sheet 14 disposed on the non-skin side with respect to the back sheet 13.
As shown in fig. 2, the absorbent body 11 includes: an absorbent core 11A that absorbs and retains excretory fluid such as urine; and a liquid-permeable core wrap sheet 11B covering the absorbent core 11A. As the absorbent core 11A, a material obtained by shaping liquid absorbent fibers (e.g., pulp) containing a Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) into a predetermined shape can be exemplified. It should be noted that the absorbent core 11A may not be covered with the core wrap sheet 11B.
As shown in fig. 2, leg hole stretch members 15 are provided on both sides in the right-and-left direction of the absorbent main body 10, and the diaper 1 is fitted around the legs of the wearer.
As shown in fig. 3, the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 (back-side waistline portion 30) includes: soft skin side sheets 21(31) and non-skin side sheets 22(32) (a pair of sheets) made of nonwoven fabric or the like; a plurality of waist stretching members 23(33) stretching in the left-right direction and disposed between the skin side sheets 21(31) and the non-skin side sheets 22 (32). The plurality of waist stretching members 23(33) are arranged in parallel with a gap in the vertical direction between the skin side sheets 21(31) and the non-skin side sheets 22(32), and are fixed in a state of being stretched in the horizontal direction. Therefore, the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 are stretched in the right-left direction and fit around the waistline of the wearer. It should be noted that as the waistline stretching members 23 and 33, a linear stretching member (elastic cord or the like) or an elongated stretchable sheet can be exemplified. In addition, the configuration of the waistline portions 20 and 30 is not limited to the configuration shown in the drawings. For example, the following are acceptable: a configuration having a three-layer or more-layer structure in which different sheets are stacked on the pair of sheets; or a configuration in which the pair of sheets is formed by folding one sheet.
In addition, in the present embodiment, as an example of a pants-type disposable diaper, there is provided a so-called three-piece diaper having three members (i.e., the abdomen-side waistline portion 20, the back-side waistline portion 30, and the absorbent main body 10); the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 are separated from each other. However, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the following diapers may be used: a so-called two-piece pants-type disposable diaper having two members (i.e., an exterior member and an absorbent body); the exterior member is a member in which the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 are integrated with each other, and the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 and the back-side waistline portion 30 form a single member continuous via the crotch portion.
Waist portion 20 and waist portion 30
(first embodiment)
Fig. 4 is a schematic plan view of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 of the first embodiment. Fig. 5 is an enlarged view of the end portion of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 shown in fig. 4. Fig. 6 is a schematic sectional view of an area located on the outer side with respect to the lock portion 40 in the first embodiment. Fig. 7 is a schematic plan view of the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 of the modification. Fig. 8A and 8B are explanatory views showing the lock portion 40.
Hereinafter, the configuration of the pair of waistline portions 20, 30 will be explained using the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 as an example. However, at least one of the pair of waistline portions 20 and 30 may have the following configuration. That is, both the waistline portions 20 and 30 can have the following configurations. Alternatively, only the back-side waistline portion 30 may have the following configuration, and the abdomen-side waistline portion 20 may have a different configuration. Alternatively, only the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 may have the following configuration, and the back-side waistline portion 30 may have a different configuration. The same applies to the other embodiments.
The plurality of waist stretching members 23 (stretching members of the present invention) provided in the abdominal-side waist portion 20 (hereinafter referred to as "waist portion 20") include: a plurality of "continuous stretchable members 231" continuously arranged from one end portion to the other end portion in the left-right direction of the waistline portion 20; a plurality of "discontinuous extensible members 232" disposed discontinuously in the left-right direction.
The discontinuous extensible member 232 is disposed below the continuous extensible member 231 and is discontinuous (non-extensible) in at least a part of a region overlapping with the absorbent core 11A in the left-right direction. This makes it possible to suppress the contraction of the absorbent core 11A caused by the waistline stretch member 23. However, the waistline portion 20 does not necessarily have the discontinuous extensible member 232.
Each of the continuously stretchable members 231 has "a pair of end fixing portions 50", and both ends of the end fixing portions 50 in the left-right direction are fixed to the skin-side sheet 21 and the non-skin-side sheet 22. Note that the fixing method of the end fixing portion 50 is not particularly limited, and the following known methods can be exemplified: fixed with an adhesive applied to the continuous extensible member 231; fixing with an adhesive applied to the inner surfaces of the skin side sheet 21 and the non-skin side sheet 22 (hereinafter referred to as "a pair of sheets 21 and 22"); and fixed by a pair of welding portions extending across the continuously stretchable member 231.
In addition, the continuously stretchable members 231 each have "non-fixing portion 51", and the non-fixing portion 51 is not fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 and is located inside in the left-right direction with respect to the end fixing portion 50. In the portion of the waistline stretch member 23 fixed to the pair of sheets 21, 22, the rigidity is increased due to the curing of the adhesive or the like, as compared with the unfixed portion of the waistline stretch member. Therefore, compared to the case where, for example, the waistline stretch member 23 is fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 over almost the entire area, since the continuous stretch member 231 has the non-fixing portion 51, the area of the portion where the rigidity is high can be reduced. This can enhance the flexibility of the waist portion 20, so that the wearing comfort of the waist portion 20 can be improved.
In particular, in the first embodiment (fig. 4), the non-fixed portion 51 is arranged to be continuous from the end portion fixed portion 50 on one side to the end portion fixed portion 50 on the other side in the left-right direction and to be elongated in the left-right direction. Therefore, the flexibility of the waistline portion 20 is further enhanced.
However, since the flexibility of the waist portion 20 is enhanced, the rigidity of the waist portion 20 is lowered, and the waist portion 20 is easily deformed when the waist portion is folded and/or collapsed. In the case of the pants-type diaper 1, the lock portions 40 extending in the up-down direction are disposed at both ends in the left-right direction of the waistline portion 20. However, it is difficult to maintain the shape (here, the rectangular shape) of the waist portion 20 only with the locking portion 40. Therefore, the waistline portion 20 cannot firmly cover the waistline of the wearer, which results in leakage of excrement or deterioration of wearing comfort.
Therefore, in the waistline portion 20, in a region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40, a reinforcing means 60 for reinforcing the region is disposed. This increases the rigidity in the up-down direction of the area located outside the lock portion 40. Therefore, the lock portions 40 and the regions located on the outer sides with respect to the lock portions 40 function as columns extending in the up-down direction, so that the fold-over of the waist body portion 20 can be suppressed from rolling up or collapsing. Maintaining the shape of the waist portion 20 in this manner makes it possible for the waist portion 20 to securely cover the waist of the wearer. Note that the region on the outer side with respect to the lock portion 40 is a region on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the outer end 40a of the lock portion 40.
On the other hand, the reinforcing means 60 is not disposed in at least a part of the region of the continuously stretchable member 231 where the non-fixed portion 51 is located. Therefore, at least a part of the region where the non-fixed portion 51 is located is not reinforced, and the rigidity is not increased. Therefore, the flexibility of the waistline unit 20 is maintained. Note that the absence of the reinforcing means 60 in the region where the non-fixed portion 51 is located means that the non-fixed portion 51 and the reinforcing means 60 do not overlap in the thickness direction (the front-rear direction of the diaper 1).
In the first embodiment, the reinforcing means 60 is another sheet 61 different from the pair of sheets 21 and 22. Therefore, disposing another sheet 61 in an area located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40 increases the number of sheets stacked in the outer area, reinforcing the outer area. The other sheet 61 may be disposed between the pair of sheets 21 and 22 as shown in fig. 6, or may be disposed on the outer side in the thickness direction with respect to the pair of sheets 21 and 22.
Further, the other sheet 61 as the reinforcing means 60 is preferably a "film". The film is, for example, a plastic film made of polyethylene, polypropylene or polyester. Further, in the case of using a film having higher rigidity than the soft sheet such as nonwoven fabric or the like constituting the pair of sheets 21 and 22 as the reinforcing means 60, the reinforcing effect of the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion 40 is increased, so that the shape of the waist body portion 20 can be easily maintained. However, the configuration is not limited thereto. The other sheet 61 may be a sheet (nonwoven fabric or the like) other than the film.
Further, as shown in fig. 5, it is preferable that another sheet 61 (reinforcing means 60) is arranged to extend at least in the left-right direction from the outer end 40a of the lock portion 40 to the end 20a of the waist portion 20. Further, in this embodiment, the vertical length of the other sheet 61 is equal to the vertical length of the lock portion 40. That is, the other sheet 61 is disposed in an area located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40 and over the entire area overlapping with the lock portion 40 in the up-down direction. Disposing the separate material 61 in a wide area outside the lock portion 40 as described above increases the rigidity of the wide area, making it easier to maintain the shape of the waist portion 20. However, the present invention is not limited thereto. The other sheet 61 may be partially arranged in the left-right direction or partially arranged in the up-down direction in an area located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40.
Further, as shown in fig. 6, it is preferable that another sheet 61 is fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 with an adhesive 62 between the pair of sheets 21 and 22 and on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion 40. This increases the rigidity of the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40 because of the adhesive 62 in addition to the other sheet 61. That is, the adhesive 62 also serves as the reinforcing means 60. Note that, in the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40, a part of the lumbar expansion member 23 is maintained in the contracted state. However, in the case of using the adhesive 62, a portion of the contracted waistline stretch member 23 may be fixed between the pair of sheets 21 and 22. Therefore, the rigidity of the contracted waistline stretching member 23 and the rigidity of the adhesive 62 can further increase the rigidity of this region. This makes it easier to maintain the shape of the waist portion 20. However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the other sheet 61 may be fixed by the locking portion 40.
Further, as shown in fig. 5, it is preferable that the inner end 61b of the other sheet 61 is located inward in the left-right direction with respect to the inner end 40b of the lock portion 40. The other sheet 61 is arranged astride the lock 40 as described above so that the lock 40 can firmly fix the other sheet 61 to the pair of sheets 21 and 22.
Further, in the case of the pants-type diaper 1, the user often tears the lock portions 40 and takes out the diaper 1. Therefore, in the case where the locking portion 40 is locked by welding, it is recommended that the pair of sheets 21 and 22 and the other sheet 61 are also welded. This causes the sheet 61 to be stretched when the lock 40 is torn, and thus the lock 40 is torn slowly compared to the case where the sheet 61 is not welded. This makes it easier to prevent the lock 40 from being torn immediately and/or to prevent the parts of the waist part 20 other than the lock 40 from being torn. Further, in the case where the sheet 61 of a material different from that of the pair of sheets 21 and 22 is welded, that is, in the case where different members are welded, the welding strength of the locking portion 40 is reduced. In this case, the user easily tears the lock 40 so that the diaper 1 can be easily replaced.
As shown in fig. 5, the inner end 61b of the other sheet 61 is preferably positioned laterally outward of the inner end 50b of the end fixing portion 50. That is, it is preferable that the other sheet 61 does not extend beyond the end fixing portion 50 toward the absorbent main body 10. In this case, the other sheet 61 does not necessarily have to extend in the left-right direction, and the flexibility of the waist portion 20 is enhanced. In this case, the non-fixed portion 51 of the continuous stretchable member 231 does not overlap with another sheet 61. That is, the other sheet 61 is not disposed anywhere in the entire region where the non-fixed portion 51 is located. The reinforcing means 60 is not disposed anywhere over the entire region where the non-fixing portion 51 is located as described above, so that the effect of the reinforcing means 60 on the non-fixing portion 51 to enhance the flexibility of the waistline portion 20 can be prevented from being reduced.
However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and another sheet 61 may be arranged in a part of the region where the non-fixing portion 51 is located. For example, the inner end 61b of the other sheet 61 may be positioned inside in the left-right direction with respect to the inner end 50b of the end fixing portion 50. Even in this case, it is preferable that the inner end 61b of the other sheet 61 is positioned outside in the left-right direction with respect to the outer end 10a of the absorbent main body 10. Therefore, the other sheet 61 does not necessarily extend in the right-left direction, and the flexibility of the waistline portion 20 is enhanced.
Further, in the case where another sheet 61 serves as the reinforcing means 60, it is preferable that the other sheet 61 has a different color from the pair of sheets 21 and 22. For example, the other sheet 61 is preferably colored blue, pink, or the like, with respect to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 of white. This allows another sheet 61 colored from the outside (non-skin side) of the diaper 1 to be visually recognized directly or through the pair of sheets 21 and 22. Therefore, the user easily notices another sheet 61 and easily recognizes the position of the lock portion 40. This enables the user to immediately find and tear the locking portion 40 so that the diaper 1 can be easily replaced. Further, the color of the other sheet 61 may be changed between the ventral side and the dorsal side. For example, setting the ventral side to blue and the back side to red enhances the front-back visual discrimination of the diaper 1, so that it is possible to prevent the user from putting the diaper 1 back on back. Further, the other sheet 61 may be provided with design, graphics, character information, and the like. For example, user convenience can be further enhanced as follows: enhancing design by attaching a frame pattern or brand name to the sheet 61; or display information indicating the start position of tearing when the lock 40 is torn.
Further, a pair of end fixing portions fixing both ends of the continuous telescopic member 231 to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 may be a pair of locking portions 40. However, as shown in fig. 4, it is suggested that the end fixing portion 50 is disposed inside in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40, apart from the lock portion 40. This enables the end fixing portion 50 to firmly fix both end portions of the continuously stretchable member 231 to the pair of sheets 21 and 22. In addition, the rigidity is increased in the region where the end fixing portion 50 is located, as compared with the region where the non-fixing portion 51 is located. Therefore, the shape of the waist portion 20 is more easily maintained by the end fixing portion 50. Note that the end fixing portion 50 may be disposed at least inside in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40. The end fixing part 50 may be configured to straddle the locking part 40, or the end fixing part 50 may be configured to be spaced apart from the locking part 40 inward in the left-right direction.
However, as shown in fig. 4, it is preferable that the left-right direction length W1 of the region between the one end fixing portion 50 and the other end fixing portion 50 in the left-right direction (between the inner ends 50b of the pair of end fixing portions 50) be longer than the left-right direction length W2 of the absorbent main body 10 (W1 > W2). Therefore, making the length of the end fixing portion 50 in the left-right direction relatively short enhances the flexibility of the waistline portion 20. Note that, in the case of comparing the lengths W1 and W2, the comparison is performed in a state where the diaper 1 is stretched without wrinkles in the left-right direction.
In the case of locking the locking portion 40 by welding, as shown in fig. 8A, it is preferable that the locking portion 40 includes a plurality of welding portions 41 arranged in parallel in the vertical direction, and the welding portions 41 have a semicircular shape divided in the horizontal direction. The arrangement of the welding portions 41 in parallel in the up-down direction increases the up-down direction rigidity of the lock portions 40 so that the lock portions 40 hardly collapse in the up-down direction. Therefore, the locking portion 40 acts as a column, and the shape of the waist body portion 20 is easily maintained. On the other hand, forming the welding portion 41 in a semicircular shape divided in the left-right direction shortens the length of the locking portion 40 in the left-right direction. Therefore, the welding area of the locking portion 40 becomes small, so that the welding strength can be reduced. This enables the user to easily tear the locking portion 40. Further, suppressing unnecessary extension of the left-right direction length of the lock portion 40 enhances the flexibility of the waistline portion 20.
In addition, as shown in fig. 8A, in the case where the welding portion 41 has a semicircular shape protruding outward in the left-right direction, the area of the welding portion 41 is increased more than in the inner end portion of the locking portion 40 in the left-right direction, and the welding strength is increased. Therefore, the locking portions 40 can resist the force received from the waistline of the wearer, so that the locking portions 40 can be prevented from being damaged when the diaper is put on. In contrast, the welding portion 41 may have a semicircular shape protruding inward in the left-right direction. In this case, in the inner end portion of the lock portion 40 in the left-right direction, the area ratio of the welding portion 41 is reduced, and the welding strength is reduced. Therefore, when the user tears the lock portions 40 from the inside to the outside in the left-right direction at the time of changing the diaper 1, the user can easily tear the lock portions.
Further, it is preferable that the locking portion 40 has a row in which a plurality of welding portions 41 are arranged in parallel in the vertical direction. This increases the vertical rigidity of the lock portion 40, and the shape of the waist portion 20 is easily maintained. Further, the left-right direction length of the lock 40 becomes short, which makes it easier to tear the lock 40 and enhances the flexibility of the waistline portion 20.
However, the pattern of the fusion 41 is not limited to the above. For example, as shown in fig. 8B, a plurality of welding portions 41 having an elliptical shape elongated in the left-right direction may be provided in parallel in the up-down direction. In this case as well, in the inner end portion of the lock portion 40 in the left-right direction, the area ratio of the welded portion 41 is reduced, the welding strength is reduced, and therefore the lock portion 40 is easily torn. The plurality of rows of fusion-bonded portions 41 arranged in parallel in the vertical direction may be arranged in parallel in the horizontal direction.
In addition, in the waistline portion 20 shown in fig. 4, all the continuously stretchable members 231 have the non-fixing portion 51, but the configuration is not limited thereto. At least one of the plurality of continuous extensible members 231 may have the non-fixed portion 51. However, as the number of the continuous stretchable members 231 having the non-fixing portion 51 increases, the flexibility of the waistline portion 20 increases.
In addition, the discontinuous telescoping member 232 preferably further comprises: end fixing portions 50 whose both left and right direction end portions of the continuous portion are fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22; and a non-fixing portion 51 which is not fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22. Providing the non-fixed portion 51 in the non-continuous extensible member 232 as described above enhances the flexibility of the waistline portion 20. However, the discontinuous telescoping member 232 does not necessarily have to have a non-fixed portion 51.
As shown in fig. 4, the non-fixed portion 51 of the continuous extensible member 231 is not limited to a structure in which the non-fixed portion is continuously arranged from one end portion fixed portion 50 to the other end portion fixed portion 50 in the left-right direction. For example, as shown in a modification of fig. 7, the continuously stretchable member 231 may have a central fixing portion 52 fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 at the left-right direction inner side of the end fixing portion 50. The central fixing portion 52 restricts the vertical movement of the continuously stretchable member 231. Therefore, the vertical spacing between the continuous stretchable members 231 can be easily maintained, and stretchability can be imparted to the waistline portion 20 over a wide range.
The central fixing portion 52 is preferably disposed in a region overlapping the absorbent core 11A in the left-right direction. By so doing, the continuously stretchable member 231 is fixed to the skin side sheet 21 in the left-right direction region where the absorbent core 11A exists. This results in the skin side sheet 21 also being fixed at a position where the continuously stretchable member 231 is brought into close contact with the wearer, so that the absorbent core 11A indirectly fixed to the skin side sheet 21 is hardly displaced in the up-down direction. Therefore, the fit of the absorbent core 11A to the wearer is increased, and the excrement hardly leaks, thereby improving the wearing comfort of the diaper 1. However, the arrangement pattern of the non-fixed part 51 and the central fixed part 52 shown in fig. 7 is an example and is not limited thereto.
(second embodiment)
Fig. 9 is a schematic plan view of an end portion of the abdominal-side waistline portion 20 of the second embodiment. Fig. 10 is a schematic sectional view of an area located on the outer side with respect to the lock portion 40 in the second embodiment.
In the second embodiment, as shown in fig. 9 and 10, the reinforcing means 60 is the waist stretching member 23 and the adhesive 63 fixing the waist stretching member 23 to the pair of sheets 21 and 22. In the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion 40, the lumbar stretching member 23 is fixed with an adhesive 63. That is, in the outer side region, the waistline stretch member 23 and the adhesive 63 are present, so that the outer side region can be reinforced. The lumbar stretching member 23 as the reinforcing means 60 may be a continuous stretching member 231 or a discontinuous stretching member 232.
In addition, in the region of the waistline stretch member 23 where the non-fixing portion 51 is located, the waistline stretch member 23 is not fixed by the adhesive, and therefore, the reinforcing means 60 is not disposed. Therefore, the flexibility of the waistline unit 20 is maintained.
As shown in fig. 9, it is preferable that the reinforcing means 60 (the waist stretching member 23 fixed with the adhesive 63) is disposed at least in the left-right direction from the outer end 40a of the locking portion 40 to the end 20a of the waist portion 20. This reinforces a wide range in the left-right direction with respect to the region of the locking portion 40 located outside in the left-right direction. Therefore, the rigidity is increased, and the shape of the waist portion 20 is easily maintained. However, the present invention is not limited thereto. The reinforcement means 60 does not necessarily reach the outer end 20a of the waist portion 20.
In addition, at least one of the plurality of lumbar stretching members 23 may be fixed to the locking portion 40 in a region located on the outer side in the left-right direction by the adhesive 63. However, as shown in fig. 9, in the region located outside in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion 40, the greater the number of the lumbar stretching members 23 fixed with the adhesive 63, the wider the range in the up-down direction to be reinforced. Thus, the rigidity is enhanced. Therefore, the shape of the waist portion 20 is more easily maintained.
Further, the waistline stretching member 23 serving as the reinforcing means 60 is a continuous stretching member 231 having a pair of end fixing portions 50 and a non-fixing portion 51. In the end fixing portion 50, the continuously stretchable member 231 is fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 with the adhesive 63. In this case, the adhesive 63 of the end fixing portion 50 and the adhesive 63 serving as the reinforcing means 60 may be continuous in the left-right direction.
Therefore, in the manufacturing process of the diaper 1, the step of applying the adhesive 63 to the end fixing portion 50 and the step of applying the adhesive 63 to the reinforcing means 60 can be performed continuously. This makes the step of applying the adhesive 63 easy.
Likewise, even in the case where the discontinuous extensible member 232 serving as the reinforcing means 60 has a pair of the end fixing portion 50 and the non-fixing portion 51, the adhesive 63 of the end fixing portion 50 and the adhesive 63 serving as the reinforcing means 60 may be continuous in the left-right direction. This makes the step of applying the adhesive 63 easy.
Further, although not shown, the waistline portion 20 may have the waistline stretch member 23 without the non-fixing portion 51, or the waistline stretch member 23 may serve as the reinforcing means 60. In this case as well, the adhesive that fixes the lumbar stretching member 23 to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 on the inner side in the left-right direction with respect to the locking portion 40 and the adhesive that is the reinforcing means 60 may be continued in the left-right direction. This makes the step of applying the adhesive easy.
As shown in fig. 9, it is preferable that the inner end 60b of the reinforcing means 60 (here, the inner end 50b of the end fixing portion 50) is positioned outward in the left-right direction with respect to the outer end 10a of the absorbent body 10. This makes it possible to prevent the reinforcing means 60 (end fixing portion 50) from being excessively extended in the left-right direction, and to enhance the flexibility of the waist portion 20.
In fig. 9, the end fixing portion 50 and the adhesive 63 serving as the reinforcing means 60 are disposed at an interval in the vertical direction for each of the lumbar stretching members 23. This can prevent the rigidity of the lateral end portions of the waistline portion 20 from being excessively increased, and enhance the flexibility of the waistline portion 20. However, the present invention is not limited thereto. The end fixing portion 50 and the adhesive 63 serving as the reinforcing means 60 may be continuous in the up-down direction (not shown).
In addition, the waistline portion 20 of the second and first embodiments does not have a sheet joining portion where the pair of sheets 21 and 22 are joined to each other on the left-right direction inner side with respect to the end fixing portion 50. On the inner side in the left-right direction with respect to the end fixing portion 50, a sheet joining portion (first sheet joining portion of the present invention) is discontinuous with a portion where the waist stretching member 23 is fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22 (for example, a central fixing portion 52 shown in fig. 7; a portion where the pair of sheets 21 and 22 are joined with the waist stretching member 23 interposed therebetween). The sheet joining portions are arranged at intervals in the vertical direction. That is, the sheet joining portion is arranged so as not to intersect the waistline stretch member 23. In the sheet joining portion, the facing surfaces of the pair of sheets 21 and 22 are directly joined to each other. For example, a sheet joining portion 70 is shown in a third embodiment (fig. 11) described later.
In the sheet joining portion, the rigidity is increased as compared with a portion where the pair of sheets 21 and 22 are not joined to each other. Therefore, as in the first and second embodiments, the absence of the sheet joint portion in the waistline portion 20 allows the flexibility of the waistline portion 20 to be further enhanced.
(third embodiment)
Fig. 11 and 12 are schematic plan views of the waistline portion 20 of the third embodiment. In the waistline portion 20 of the third embodiment, the sheet joining portions 70 and 71 (second sheet joining portions of the present invention) where the pair of sheets 21 and 22 are joined to each other are arranged in the region located on the inner side in the left-right direction with respect to the outer end 40a of the lock portion 40. As a method for joining the pair of sheets 21 and 22 in the sheet joining portions 70 and 71, known joining by an adhesive or welding can be exemplified.
Hereinafter, a case where the waistline portion 20 (fig. 9) described in the second embodiment has the sheet joining portions 70 and 71 will be described. However, the waistline portion 20 described in the first embodiment may have the sheet joining portions 70 and 71 described below.
In the region where the non-fixing portion 51 of the waistline stretch member 23 is located, the pair of sheets 21 and 22 are separated from each other. Therefore, in the appearance of the diaper 1, the non-skin side sheet 22 floats and is easily visible. Further, when the waist stretching member 23 is contracted, irregular large longitudinal wrinkles are easily formed. Therefore, providing the sheet attachment portions 70 and 71 in the waistline portion 20 can suppress the floating of the non-skin side sheet 22, so that the appearance of the diaper 1 can be improved.
The sheet joint portions 70 shown in fig. 11 each extend longer in the left-right direction than in the up-down direction of the diaper 1. Further, none of the sheet joining portions 70 is continuous with the portions (e.g., the end fixing portions 50, the central fixing portion 52 shown in fig. 7, and the like) where the corresponding waistline stretch member 23 is fixed to the pair of sheets 21 and 22, and is disposed with an interval in the up-down direction. That is, the sheet joining portion 70 is arranged so as not to intersect the waistline stretch member 23. As described above, providing the sheet joining portion 70 long in the left-right direction in the waistline portion 20 makes it easier to form regular wales when the waistline stretching member 23 is contracted. Therefore, the appearance of the diaper 1 is improved, so that the user can be given an impression that the fit of the waist portion 20 is good.
Further, the vertical movement of the lumbar stretching member 23 is restricted by the sheet joining portion 70. Therefore, the vertical interval between the waist stretching members 23 is easily maintained, which can impart stretchability over a wide range of the waist portion 20.
However, in the case where the waistline portion 20 has the sheet joint portion 70, the flexibility of the waistline portion 20 is reduced as compared with the case where the waistline portion 20 does not have the sheet joint portion 70. However, the sheet attachment portion 70 hardly comes into close contact with the wearer's skin, as compared with the waistline stretch member 23. Therefore, the user hardly feels the hardness of the adhesive or the like of the sheet joint portion 70 as compared with the hardness of the adhesive or the like that fixes the waistline stretch member 23 to the pair of sheets 21 and 22, so that it is possible to suppress deterioration of the wearing comfort of the waistline portion 20.
In addition, the sheet engagement portion 70 is not limited to the sheet engagement portion 70 illustrated in fig. 11. For example, the following sheet joint 70 is acceptable: the sheet-like member is not continuously extended in the left-right direction but intermittently disposed in the left-right direction. In addition, in the case where the waistline portion 20 has the discontinuous extensible member 232, the sheet joining portion 70 does not have to be arranged at the discontinuous portion of the discontinuous extensible member 232. Further, the sheet joining portion 70 may be arranged only in some of the plurality of regions located between the waistline stretch members 23 arranged side by side in the up-down direction.
In addition, as shown in fig. 12, the sheet joining portion 71 may be arranged to intersect the waistline stretch member 23 in the up-down direction. Specifically, in fig. 12, the pair of sheet bonding sections 71 are arranged at the same left-right direction positions as both left-right direction end portions of the absorbent core 11A, and are arranged above the absorbent core 11A. The sheet engagement portions 71 each have a rectangular shape that is long in the up-down direction.
The vertical movement of the continuous stretchable member 231 is restricted by the sheet engagement portion 71 shown in fig. 12. This makes it easier to maintain the interval between the continuous stretchable members 231 in the up-down direction, and can impart stretchability over a wide range of the waistline portion 20.
In addition, both end portions in the right and left direction of the waistline portion 20 are hardly folded and/or collapsed due to the reinforcement of the reinforcing means 60 and the like. In the case of fig. 12, the sheet joining portions 71 each function as a column elongated in the up-down direction, and therefore the left-right direction central portion of the waist portion 20 is hardly folded and/or collapsed. Therefore, the shape of the waist portion 20 is more easily maintained.
Therefore, as shown in fig. 11 and 12, it is preferable that the sheet engagement portions 70 and 71 are not arranged in the region located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the outer end 40a of the lock portion 40. This makes it possible to prevent the rigidity of the region located on the outer side with respect to the lock portion 40 from being excessively increased, and to enhance the flexibility of the waist portion.
In addition, as shown in fig. 11 and 12, it is preferable that the sheet engagement portions 70 and 71 are disposed at intervals inside in the left-right direction of the lock portion 40. This makes it possible to prevent the rigidity of the lock portion 40 from being excessively increased, and to enhance the flexibility of the waist portion 20. Further, in the case where the sheet joining portions 70 and 71 are joined with the adhesive material and the lock portion 40 is locked by welding, the amount of the adhesive to be applied in the lock portion 40 can be reduced, and the adhesive in the lock portion 40 can be suppressed from oozing out.
Further, as shown in fig. 11 and 12, it is preferable that the outer end 70a of the sheet joining portion 70 and the outer end 71a of the sheet joining portion 71 are located inward in the left-right direction with respect to the inner end 50b of the end fixing portion 50. This makes it possible to prevent the rigidity of the region where the end fixing portion 50 is located from being excessively increased in the left-right direction, and to enhance the flexibility of the waist portion 20.
However, the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the sheet engagement portion 70 shown in fig. 11 may extend up to an area located on the outer side in the left-right direction with respect to the lock portion 40. Also, the sheet engagement portion 70 may overlap the lock portion 40 and/or the end fixing portion 50 in the left-right direction.
Other embodiments
Although the above embodiments of the present invention have been described, the above embodiments are intended to aid understanding of the present invention and are not intended to limit the explanation of the present invention. Further, the present invention may be modified or improved without departing from the spirit thereof, and further, it is needless to say that equivalents thereof are also included in the present invention.
In the above embodiment, the waistline portion 20(30) is formed of a pair of soft sheets 21 and 22(31 and 32) such as nonwoven fabric or the like. On the surfaces of the pair of sheets 21 and 22, a plurality of holes 25 may be provided. Fig. 13 is a schematic perspective view illustrating an example of the sheets 21 and 22 having a plurality of holes 25. In the example of fig. 13, the skin-side sheet 21 is formed of a perforated nonwoven fabric in which a plurality of holes 25 are arranged at intervals and penetrate the sheet front and back. Note that a plurality of holes 25 may be provided in the non-skin side sheet 22, or may be provided in both the skin side sheet 21 and the non-skin side sheet 22.
Since the plurality of holes 25 are provided in at least one of the pair of sheets 21 and 22, the air permeability of the sheet is enhanced and the waistline portion 20 hardly gets wet when the diaper 1 is worn. However, such a hole 25 is generally formed using a heated pin member (not shown) or the like, and therefore, at the time of formation, there is a risk that the outer peripheral edge portion of the hole 25 is melted and solidified, hardening the hole 25. In this case, the flexibility of the waistline portion 20 is weakened, and the texture of the waistline portion 20 is deteriorated. In addition, in the case where the holes 25 are provided and the fixing adhesive is applied to the entire area of the waist stretching member 23, there is a risk that the basis weight of the adhesive is relatively increased when the waist stretching member 23 contracts, resulting in the wearer feeling the sense of tackiness of the adhesive through the holes 25 from the entire waist stretching member 23.
In contrast, the waistline portion 20 has a non-fixing portion 51 where the waistline stretch member 23 is not fixed to the waistline portion 20 in a region located inward in the width direction with respect to the pair of end fixing portions 50 and 50. The region where the non-fixing portion 51 is provided and the region where the plurality of holes 25 are located have overlapping portions. Since the waist portion 20 has high flexibility in the region where the non-fixing portion 51 is provided, the influence of the hardening of the outer peripheral edge portion of the hole 25 in this region can be relatively reduced. That is, the feeling of the entire waist portion 20 is hardly hardened. Further, since the waist stretching member 23 of the non-fixing portion 51 is not coated with the adhesive, the wearer can be prevented from feeling sticky with the adhesive through the hole 25. Therefore, the softness and breathability of the waist portion 20 can be enhanced without causing discomfort to the wearer.
