IPv6 provides a standard stateless address automatic configuration mode, and can rapidly configure the IP address of the satellite terminal. The invention broadcasts standard RA messages such as IPv6 prefix and the like in the forward data stream through the resource broadcast signaling, and the satellite terminal can rapidly and automatically configure own IP address. The registration method of the satellite terminal comprises two modes of configuration of IP addresses:
static configuration IP address:
the gateway system periodically broadcasts an allocation mapping table of the allocation sequence number SAI (SystemAssignedID) and the IP address of the satellite terminal system to the satellite terminal through the satellite, and the satellite terminal generates the IP address according to the allocation mapping table of the allocation sequence number of the satellite terminal system and the IP address contained in the IP domain resource.
Stateless auto-configuration IP address:
the gateway system broadcasts signaling to the satellite terminal through the satellite, the signaling comprises link resources and IP domain resources, the satellite terminal generates an IP address according to the combination of the electronic serial number of the satellite terminal and IP gateway service prefix contained in the IP domain resources, the satellite terminal generates 64-bit interface number InterfaceID through an algorithm by using 32-bit ESN of the satellite terminal, and the 64-bit automatically generated address is added with the 64-bit IP address prefix broadcasted by the gateway system to form the 128-bit IPv6 address of the satellite terminal.
Whether the IP address is statically configured or stateless automatically configured, the IP address needs to be reported to an IP gateway accessed by the satellite terminal when the user registers. The IP gateway associates the IP address with the satellite terminal's ESN/SAI for subsequent auditing, authorization, billing and management.
In one embodiment, as shown in figure 4,
the IP gateway in the gateway system announces own IP domain resources and resource use conditions to a link gateway in the gateway system, the link gateway unifies own link resources and use conditions to be broadcasted to a satellite terminal through a satellite together with the IP domain resources, the satellite terminal selects the IP gateway according to received broadcast signaling, an SLAAC (stateless address automatic configuration) mode is used, an IP address is generated by utilizing the prefix of the selected IP gateway, an air interface IP address is configured, after IP addressing, the satellite terminal immediately starts an associated registration process, and the satellite terminal sends an associated registration request to the IP gateway, wherein the request message comprises a user system number SAI, a satellite terminal electronic serial number ESN, a serial number of the link gateway MCS/RCM, an IP gateway serial number, a forwarding star number and an IP address of an air interface of the satellite terminal. The IP gateway processes the association registration request and sends an association confirmation to the satellite terminal. The association confirmation contains proxy prefix information which can allocate addresses to the LAN port cascade users by the satellite terminal.
And after receiving the association confirmation, the satellite terminal receives the proxy prefix information at the same time under the condition of no error. The satellite terminal configures the IP address of the LAN port according to the algorithm, broadcasts the proxy prefix information on the LAN port, and configures the IP address of the cascade user of the LAN port.
The DAD check is needed before the IP address takes effect, but the uniqueness of the stateless address automatic configuration and the ESN of the satellite terminal used ensures the uniqueness of the automatic generation address and omits the DAD check.
In one embodiment, as shown in figure 5,
when the satellite terminal registers, the link gateway and the IP gateway are already selected and associated registration is carried out. While the satellite terminal is associated with the current gateway system and provides services, the link resource information and the IP domain information broadcast by all the IP gateways and the link gateway are still continuously received.
The satellite terminal judges whether the link gateway needs to be switched or not according to the algorithm and selects a new link gateway. When the link gateway is switched, the satellite terminal sends a modification association request to the IP gateway through the satellite, wherein the request comprises a satellite terminal system allocation serial number SAI, a satellite terminal electronic serial number ESN, a new link gateway MCS/RCM number, an IP gateway number, a satellite number and an IP address of an air interface of the satellite terminal, and the IP gateway processes the modification association request and sends association confirmation to the satellite terminal. The associated link gateway number is updated.
In one embodiment, as shown in figure 6,
when the satellite terminal is registered, the link gateway and the IP gateway are selected and associated and registered, and the link resource information and the IP domain information broadcast by all the IP gateways and the link gateway are continuously received while the satellite terminal is associated with the current gateway system and provides services.
The satellite terminal judges whether to switch the IP gateway or not and selects a new IP gateway according to the algorithm, and reconfigures the IP address when the IP gateway is switched.
The satellite terminal uses the original IP address to cancel the association request to the original IP gateway, then the updated IP gateway broadcasts updated IP domain resource signaling to the satellite terminal through the satellite, the satellite terminal generates an interface number according to the electronic serial number of the satellite terminal after receiving the signaling, and combines the interface number with the updated IP gateway service prefix contained in the IP domain resource to generate an updated IP address, the satellite terminal sends an association registration request to the gateway system through the satellite according to the generated updated IP address, and the gateway system carries out association registration according to the association registration request. The association confirmation contains new agent prefix information which can allocate addresses to the LAN port cascade users by the satellite terminal.
The request message comprises a satellite terminal system allocation serial number SAI, a satellite terminal electronic serial number ESN, a serial number of a link gateway MCS/RCM, an updated IP gateway serial number, a satellite serial number and an updated satellite terminal IP address.
And after receiving the association confirmation, the satellite terminal receives the new agent prefix information at the same time under the condition of no error. The satellite terminal configures the IP address of the LAN port according to the algorithm, broadcasts the new prefix information on the LAN port, and configures the IP address of the cascade user of the LAN port.
Thus, the user associated information is updated to be a new IP gateway, a new IP address is configured for the air interface, and the new IP address is allocated for the cascade user of the LAN interface.

In transparent star mode, the link gateway operates on the ground segment, while in regenerative star mode, the link gateway operates on an on-board processing unit on the satellite.
