In the display equipment, the gray value of the same pixel point can be different in different subframes, namely the gray value of the same pixel point can be subjected to gray processing in different subframes, so that the image in the low gray range of the display equipment has a jittering visual effect, and the fine degree of the display gray level in the low gray range of the display equipment is improved;
the brightness between white and black is called gray level or gray scale, the gamma conversion curve is the function relation between the image gray level and the actual brightness and the percentage of the maximum brightness of the display device, and the brightness of the display device is approximately linear along with the increase of the gray level through the gamma conversion curve; whereas the perceived brightness of the display device by the human eye is non-linear with increasing grey level. In order to make human eyes feel more natural when watching a display device and better present rich color levels in an image or a video, a gamma value of the display device generally has a fixed value range; if the gamma value is too large, the image looks darker on the whole, especially the contrast of the low gray scale interval is reduced, and some details of the image are lost; if the gamma value is too small, the displayed image is brighter on the whole, and the image loses the corresponding layering sense on the whole;
the pixel dithering algorithm is applied to the display equipment, the achievable gray level can be increased, the gray level fineness degree is improved, but the gray level processing is carried out on the gray level of the same pixel point in different subframes, so that the dithering visual effect can be caused, the problems of gray level hopping, uneven gray level transition and poor display effect occur, in order to weaken the flicker feeling brought to human eyes in the algorithm implementation process and improve the gray level processing effect, the gray level processing effect can be evaluated by observing the brightness fluctuation condition of the same pixel point position in different subframes, namely the brightness fluctuation value; the calculation formula of the brightness fluctuation value is as follows:
in the above formula, p 1 Is the brightness value, p, of a pixel point in the first sub-frame 2 Is the brightness value, p, of the corresponding pixel point at the same position in the second sub-frame ∈ The brightness value p of the corresponding pixel point at the same position in the e-th subframe δ Belonging to the average value of the brightness of the pixel points at the same position in the subframes, and belonging to the number of the subframes; m represents the brightness fluctuation value of the same pixel point position in different sub-frames; the smaller the brightness fluctuation value is, the better the gray scale processing effect is, and the influence of the problems of gray scale jump, uneven gray scale transition and poor display effect can be effectively reduced.
The beneficial effects of the above technical scheme are: by adopting the scheme provided by the embodiment, the gamma value of the display equipment is adjusted according to the fixed use environment of the user, so that the reasonably fixed contrast of the display equipment can be ensured to be provided for a user, and the use comfort level is provided; the effect of gray scale processing is reflected by setting the brightness fluctuation value, so that the influence of a dithering visual effect can be reduced, and the effect of gray scale fine processing is improved.
