Description

Method and device for managing hardware functions of video conference terminal
Technical Field
The invention relates to a video conference system, in particular to a method and a device for managing hardware functions of a video conference terminal.
Background
Video conference terminals are widely used in video conference scenes of work and life. Especially in remote video conferences, remote teaching training, remote enterprise cascading meetings and other scenes. In a traditional mode, hardware functions of a video conference terminal are integrated, and when a user purchases the video conference terminal, a plurality of functions are not wanted, but corresponding expenses are paid. For example, a camera of a video conference terminal has a face tracking function besides a basic fixed camera function, so that facial features of participants can be tracked in real time, and an effect of shooting faces in real time is achieved. For another example, when a user only purchases a video conference terminal with a basic function due to the limitation of purchasing budget and temporarily needs to use a high-level function in the using process, the user needs to purchase the video conference terminal with the high-level function, which causes repeated investment and waste. For example, when a user needs to purchase a video conference terminal with a voice recognition function, the user finds that the video conference terminal with the voice recognition function is relatively high in price because various hardware functions are rich and complete, and the video conference terminal without the voice recognition function is low in price but cannot meet the requirements of the user on the functions, but the budget price which can be controlled by the user is not enough to pay for the video conference terminal with the rich and complete hardware functions, and the user falls into the decision of a valley in advance and retreat. For example, for part of the functions of the video conference terminal, the user may only need to use the video conference terminal once to twice temporarily, and does not need to use the video conference terminal for a long time, but it is not cost-effective to purchase the video conference terminal with rich functions by spending a large amount of money in order to use the functions only once to twice.
In addition, for manufacturers, in order to meet the user requirements of different consumption capacities, product series with different levels corresponding to different price points and different hardware configurations are required to be set, which complicates product management, sales and promotion, such as advertising different product series respectively, and estimating the production volume and inventory of each series to arrange production, transportation and sales. This increases the marketing management costs for the manufacturer.
In summary, in the conventional method, there are problems that a user has to pay a high fee for unnecessary hardware functions when purchasing a video conference terminal, and then can purchase a video conference terminal with a built-in redundant hardware function, and that a manufacturer needs to maintain production and sales of a series of products with different hardware configurations at different levels.

S102: the video conference terminal 220 basic hardware module/function is enabled by default and all extended hardware modules/functions of the video conference terminal 220 are disabled.
In one embodiment, the video conference terminal 220 basic hardware modules/functions are enabled by default when the video conference terminal 220 is produced by a manufacturer.
For example, a manufacturer performs data statistics and analysis according to market demands of last three years, the basic hardware modules of the video conference terminal 220 planned to be produced in this year are a camera module 221, a voice module 222, a display module 223, a speaker module 224 and a video conference module 226, and the basic functions of the video conference terminal 220 planned to be produced in this year are a fixed shooting function, a shooting resolution standard definition function, a sound input function, a picture display function, an audio play-out function, the number of virtual conference rooms that can be opened each year and the number of virtual conference rooms that can be opened each year. When the manufacturer produces the video conference terminal 220 with complete functions in uniform specification, the basic hardware module and the basic hardware function planned and set in the year are set to be in the starting mode in batch. And other hardware modules or functions carry out enabling mode setting or disabling mode setting according to the purchasing requirement of the user in the year.
In another embodiment, all extended hardware modules/functions of the video conference terminal 220 are disabled while the video conference terminal 220 base hardware modules/functions are enabled by default.
For example, when the video conference terminal 220 is shipped from a factory, a manufacturer sets the basic hardware module and the basic hardware function, which are planned to be set in this year, in a batch mode, and sets all the hardware modules and functions except the basic hardware module and the basic hardware function in a batch mode. After the user finishes purchasing, the enabling/disabling mode of the hardware module or the function is reset according to the requirement of the user.
Other hardware modules/functions that may be added are not limited herein. For example, after the video conference terminal 220 includes the seven hardware modules described in S101, a bluetooth transmission hardware module and its functions need to be added according to market demand change or temporary demand of a large client, the bluetooth transmission hardware module does not belong to the category of the seven basic hardware modules, but the bluetooth transmission hardware module and its functions may also be added by expanding the video conference terminal 220 according to demand change, and the setting of the enabling/disabling mode is performed.
S103: receiving a request for starting/upgrading one or more hardware modules/functions of the video conference terminal 220.
The video conference terminal 220 has uniqueness, which includes:
1) Each video conference terminal has a unique ID number;
2) And each video conference terminal ID number has a unique offline enabling/upgrading hardware module/function two-dimensional code.
Wherein, the data information of the offline enabled/upgraded hardware module/function two-dimensional code includes but is not limited to: the video conference terminal ID number.
The application method for the user to request to enable/upgrade one or more video conference terminals 220 to expand hardware modules/functions includes, but is not limited to, the following four methods (as shown in fig. 2 and 3):
1) When the video conference terminal 220 is connected to the internet, applying for the option of starting/upgrading a hardware module/function through the video conference terminal 220;
2) When the video conference terminal 220 is connected to the internet, a video customer service option for starting/upgrading a hardware module/function through the video conference terminal 220 is applied;
3) When the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, the user scans the two-dimensional code of the off-line enabling/upgrading hardware module/function of the video conference terminal 220 based on the mobile device 230, and links an enabling/upgrading operation option to apply;
4) When the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, the user scans the two-dimensional code of the off-line enabled/upgraded hardware module/function of the video conference terminal 220 based on the mobile device 230, and links the video customer service for application.
Wherein the video service includes but is not limited to: artificial customer service and/or intelligent virtual customer service.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, in an embodiment, when the video conference terminal 220 connects to the internet, the step of applying for the application option of enabling/upgrading a hardware module/function through the video conference terminal 220 includes:
s1, when the video conference terminal 220 is connected with the Internet, a server 210 receives an option that the user selects the hardware function networking enabling/upgrading from the video conference terminal 220;
s2, the server 210 prompts the user with the price detail and the cost statistic amount through the video conference terminal 220;
s3, the server 210 receives the hardware module/function determined by the user to apply for enablement/upgrade from the video conference terminal 220.
For example, when purchasing the video conference terminal 220, the enterprise user a only activates the basic hardware module and the basic functions thereof, and thus, the requirement of daily enterprise video conference can be met. In the last month, as the superior leaders come to the enterprise to visit and participate in the meeting, the face following function of the camera module 221 is required to perform the whole-course camera shooting of the meeting and screen recording and archiving. The one-month-long camera module 221 face following function, the processing module 227 screen recording function and the memory module 225 high-level storage space need to be enabled for the video conference terminal 220. Enterprise user a may open the video conference terminal 220 for internet connection and then open the application that the video conference terminal 220 displays on the desktop for hardware enablement/upgrade, the application usage interface being shown in fig. 6. The enterprise user a selects a hardware function networking enabling/upgrading option in the application program, enters a selection interface as shown in fig. 7, and selects a hardware module to be enabled/upgraded, a hardware function and an enabling/upgrading duration. The enterprise user A correspondingly selects the camera module 221, the face following function for 1 month, the processing module 227, the screen recording function for 1 month and the memory module 225, the high-level storage space for 1 month according to the requirements. According to the selection of the enterprise user a, the video conference terminal 220 communicates data information with the server 210, and correspondingly displays the list detail and the corresponding fee selected by the enterprise user a at the position of the price detail and the fee statistics. After the enterprise user a clicks to confirm payment, the server 210 receives, from the video conference terminal, the camera module 221 face following function, the processing module 227 screen recording function, and the memory module 225 advanced storage space that the enterprise user a determines to apply for activation for one month.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, in another embodiment, when the video conference terminal 220 connects to the internet, the step of applying for the video service option of enabling/upgrading a hardware module/function through the video conference terminal 220 includes:
s1, when the video conference terminal is connected with the Internet, receiving an option of selecting the video customer service by the user from the video conference terminal;
s2, receiving the hardware module/function which is confirmed after the video customer service interacts with the user and is determined by the user to apply for starting/upgrading.
For example, after purchasing the video conference terminal 220 with the default basic hardware module/function enabled, the user B wants to upgrade the shooting resolution high definition function of the camera module 221 after using the terminal for a while. Thus, in a case where the video conference terminal 220 is connected to a network, the user B dials through the video service of the video conference terminal 220 through the desktop application of the video conference terminal 220. The video customer service is an artificial video customer service, and the user B communicates with the artificial video client in detail, so that the high-definition function of the shooting resolution of the camera module 221 to be upgraded is defined. The manual video customer service applies for the flow of the ID number corresponding to the video conference terminal 220 of the user B according to the requirement of the user B, and sends the application data information to the server 210. The server 210 receives the determination that the user B applies for the high-resolution function of the image shooting module 221.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, in another embodiment, when the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, the step of applying for the link enabling/upgrading operation option by the user scanning the two-dimensional code of the offline enabling/upgrading hardware module/function of the video conference terminal 220 based on the mobile terminal 230 includes:
s1, when the video conference terminal cannot be connected with the Internet, a server 210 receives data information of an offline enabling/upgrading hardware module/functional two-dimensional code which is uniquely corresponding to the video conference terminal ID number and is scanned by the user through a mobile terminal 230;
s2, the server 210 sends a hardware enabling/upgrading link to the mobile terminal 230 of the user;
and S3, the server 210 receives the hardware module/function which is requested to be enabled/upgraded according to option prompt operation after the user enters the hardware enabling/upgrading link by using the mobile terminal 230.
For example, in an environment without WIFI, the user C needs to enable the tuning function of the speaker module 224 for the video conference terminal 220 with the unique ID number 8383827. The user C may scan a two-dimensional code printed on the product housing of the video conference terminal 220 with the unique ID number 838383827 in front of the user C (in addition, the two-dimensional code may also be displayed on the screen of the video conference terminal). After the two-dimensional code is scanned, the unique ID number data information corresponding to the video conference terminal 220 is sent to the server 210 through the mobile phone of the user C. The data information includes, but is not limited to, a unique ID number 8383827. After receiving the data information of the unique ID number 838383827 of the video conference terminal 220, the server 210 sends a hardware enabling/upgrading link corresponding to the data information of the unique ID number 8383827 of the video conference terminal 220 to the mobile phone of user C. After loading the link, the mobile phone of the user C enters the hardware module/function enabling/upgrading interface shown in fig. 9, selects the hardware function offline enabling/upgrading option, and operates according to the prompting step of the operation interface. When the user C determines to enable the tuning function of the speaker module 224 according to the operation steps, the server 210 receives an application that the unique ID number of the video conference terminal 220 sent by the mobile phone of the user C correspondingly determines to enable the tuning function of the speaker module 224.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, in another embodiment, when the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, the step of linking the video service for application by the user scanning the two-dimensional code of the offline enabled/upgraded hardware module/function or video service of the video conference terminal 220 based on the mobile device 230 includes:
s1, when the video conference terminal cannot be connected with the Internet, a server 210 receives data information of an offline enabling/upgrading hardware module/functional two-dimensional code which is uniquely corresponding to the ID number of the current video conference terminal and is scanned by a user through a mobile terminal 230;
s2, the server 210 sends a hardware enabling/upgrading link to the mobile terminal 230 of the user;
s3, the server 210 receives the hardware module/function which is selected to interact with the video customer service after the user enters the hardware enabling/upgrading link by using the mobile terminal 230, and then the hardware module/function which applies for enabling/upgrading is determined.
For example, in an environment without the internet, the user D needs to enable the processing module 227 to perform the picture processing function on the video conference terminal 220. The user D may open the video conference terminal 220, then open an application program for enabling/upgrading the hardware module/function, select an offline enabling/upgrading option for the hardware function (as shown in fig. 6), and pop up an offline enabling/upgrading hardware module/function two-dimensional code corresponding to the unique ID number of the video conference terminal 220 of this station. And the user D uses the mobile phone to scan the two-dimensional code. After the two-dimensional code is scanned, the unique ID data information corresponding to the video conference terminal is sent to the server 210 through the mobile phone of the user D. After receiving the data information, the server 210 sends a hardware enabling/upgrading link corresponding to the data information of the unique ID number of the video conference terminal to the mobile terminal 230 of the user. After loading the link, the mobile phone of the user D enters the hardware module/function enabling/upgrading interface shown in fig. 9, and selects the video customer service option. And popping up the intelligent virtual customer service on the mobile phone interface, and allowing the user D to interact with the intelligent virtual customer service to inform the intelligent virtual customer service that the picture processing function of the processing module 227 needs to be started. The server 210 receives a voice application request expressed by the user D through the intelligent virtual customer service, performs voice recognition, and converts the voice application request into application data information corresponding to the unique ID number of the video conference terminal, that is, the server 210 receives the image processing function of the processing module 227 determined by the user D to apply for enabling.
The method for the user to link the video service is not limited herein, for example, the user may scan a two-dimensional code of the video service through the mobile device 230 to dial the video service; for another example, the user may also dial a video service through a link via a video service link published by the video conference terminal 220 official website/public number, or the like.
The application method of the user requesting to enable/upgrade one or more extended hardware modules/functions of the video conference terminal 220 is not limited herein. For example, the user may go to an offline after-sales service center of the local video conference terminal 220 for direct manual service to apply for enabling/upgrading the hardware module/function. For another example, the user may also directly dial an after-market phone of the video conference terminal 220 to apply for enabling/upgrading a hardware module/function.
S104: and sending a request for paying the corresponding fee to the user.
When the server 210 receives a payment application for enabling/upgrading a hardware module/function sent by the user, the server 210 collects the batch application details of the user, performs statistical accounting on corresponding fees, and sends a request for paying the corresponding fees to the user through the video conference terminal 220 or the mobile terminal 230 after performing the statistical accounting on the total amount.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, in an embodiment, when the video conference terminal 220 connects to the internet, the server 210 receives the hardware module/function details enabled/upgraded by the user through the video conference terminal 220, and the server 210 performs statistical accounting on the corresponding cost. After counting and checking the total amount, the server 210 pops up a payment two-dimensional code (as shown in fig. 8) through the video conference terminal 220, so as to send a request for paying a corresponding fee to the user. The user scans the payment two-dimensional code using the mobile terminal 230 to pay the corresponding fee.
For example, when the video conference terminal 220 connects to the internet, the user E applies for confirmation of purchasing the right to use the screen recording function of the processing module 227 for 1 month through the video conference terminal 220. After the application is submitted, a request for paying the corresponding fee, that is, a payment interface, is directly popped up through the video conference terminal 220. The payment interface comprises a payment list, a total amount and a payment two-dimensional code, and the user E uses the mobile phone WeChat or Paibao to scan the code for payment, so that the purchase of the screen recording function use right of the processing module 227 for 1 month is completed.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, in another embodiment, when the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, the server 210 receives the details of the hardware module/function enabled/upgraded by the user through the mobile device 230 used by the user, and the server 210 performs statistical accounting on the corresponding fee. After counting and checking the total amount, the server 210 pops up a payment two-dimensional code (as shown in fig. 10) through the mobile device 230, thereby sending a request for paying a corresponding fee to the user. The user scans the payment two-dimensional code using the mobile terminal 230 to pay the corresponding fee. It is also possible to provide only one payment link, the user making a payment by clicking on the payment link.
For example, when the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, the user F communicates with a manual video customer service through a mobile phone, and applies for confirming the right to purchase the voice module 222 for 6 months to track the usage of the positioning function. The manual video customer service remotely fills in the enabled hardware module/function list for user F and submits it to the server 210. The server 210 counts the total amount, puts forward a request for paying corresponding cost to the user through the mobile phone video interface, and pops up a payment two-dimensional code on the mobile phone video interface. The user F directly uses the mobile phone to scan the code for payment, thereby completing the purchase of the 6-month voice module 222 for tracking the use right of the positioning function.
Other ways of requesting the user by the server 210 to pay the corresponding fee are not limited herein. For example, in addition to the payment request method using the payment two-dimensional code, remittance payment, account balance payment, face-brushing payment, fingerprint payment, and the like may be performed using a bank account number. Meanwhile, the server 210 is not limited to issuing other payment request interface contents for the user to make a payment request for the corresponding fee. For example, the payment request interface content may include a payment expense list, a payment method selection, and the like, in addition to the payment two-dimensional code.
S105: confirming that the user pays the corresponding fee.
Wherein confirming that the user pays the corresponding fee comprises: and confirming whether the corresponding fee paid by the user is checked out or not, and confirming that the checked out corresponding fee corresponds to the bill details of the enabled/upgraded hardware module/function.
Specifically, in an embodiment, the user uses the mobile terminal 230 to scan the two-dimensional payment code on the video conference terminal 220 or the mobile terminal 230 for paying a corresponding fee, and after the user finishes paying, the server 210 receives payment completion information and bank account information. The server 210 compares the bank account information with the total amount of the corresponding expense list for the user to apply for starting/upgrading the hardware module/function, and confirms that the user has paid the corresponding expense after checking no error.
Other confirmation means for confirming that the user pays the corresponding fee are not limited herein.
S106: the video conference terminal 220 extension hardware module/function corresponding to the user application and cost is enabled/upgraded for the user's video conference terminal 220.
The method for enabling/upgrading the video conference terminal 220 of the user to expand the hardware module/function of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the user application and fee includes, but is not limited to, the following two methods (as shown in fig. 2 and 3):
1) When the video conference terminal 220 is connected to the internet, transmitting configuration information of the extended hardware module/function of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the user application and fee to the video conference terminal 220; the start/upgrade of the videoconference terminal 220 is done based on the configuration information.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, in an embodiment, when the video conference terminal 220 is connected to the internet, after determining that the user pays a corresponding fee, the server 210 retrieves configuration information of the hardware module/function expansion of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the user application and fee from a database, compresses and packages the retrieved configuration information, and sends the compressed configuration information to the video conference terminal 220. The configuration information includes, but is not limited to, a firmware update program. After the video conference terminal 220 receives all the configuration information, a message confirming that the reception is completed is returned to the server 210. After the server 210 receives the message confirming that the reception is completed, the video conference terminal 220 is remotely controlled to decompress the compressed packet of the configuration information, and based on the decompressed configuration information, the bottom layer hardware configuration of the video conference terminal 220 is retrieved/modified/upgraded and/or the enabling mode of the hardware module/function is set, and finally the enabling/upgrading of the extended hardware module/function of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the user application and cost is completed.
For example, when the video conference terminal 220 connects to the internet, the user G applies for and pays a fee for the one-month-old camera module 221 to start the beauty function through the video conference terminal. After determining that the user G pays the fee for enabling the one-month camera module 221 beauty function, the server 210 calls the configuration information for enabling the camera module 221 beauty function from the database, compresses and packages the called configuration information, and sends the compressed and packaged configuration information to the video conference terminal 220 of the user G. After receiving the configuration information, the video conference terminal 220 of the user G returns a message to the server 210 to confirm that the reception is completed. After the server 210 receives the message that the reception is confirmed to be completed, the server 210 remotely controls the video conference terminal 220 of the user G to decompress the configuration information compression packet, retrieves and modifies and/or firmware upgrades the bottom hardware configuration of the video conference terminal 220 based on the decompressed configuration information of the beauty function of the camera module 221, and after the bottom hardware configuration is completed, the beauty function of the camera module 221 is set to be the starting mode, and the starting time is set to be one month. The enablement/upgrade of the one-month camera module 221 beauty function of the video conference terminal 220 of the user G is finally completed.
2) When the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, an encrypted authorization two-dimensional code of hardware module/function enablement/upgrade corresponding to the user payment corresponding fee is sent to the mobile terminal 230 of the user; the video conference terminal 220 scans the encrypted authorization two-dimensional code (as shown in fig. 11) on the mobile terminal 230 of the user through a camera, and completes the start/upgrade of the video conference terminal 220. The encrypted and authorized two-dimensional code has uniqueness, only the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the unique ID number for the user to pay corresponding fees can be enabled/upgraded by code scanning, and the other video conference terminals 220 have no permission to scan codes.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, in another embodiment, when the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, the user scans the two-dimensional code of the off-line enabled/upgraded hardware module/function or video customer service of the video conference terminal 220 based on the mobile device 230 to apply for the enablement/upgrade of the hardware module/function, and completes scanning the pay two-dimensional code to pay the corresponding fee. After receiving the unique ID number data information of the video conference terminal and determining that the user pays the corresponding fee, the server 210 retrieves configuration information of the extended hardware module/function of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the user application and fee from a database, and generates an encrypted authorization two-dimensional code by combining the retrieved configuration information with the unique ID number of the user paying the corresponding fee. The encrypted authorized two-dimensional code has uniqueness, only the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the unique ID number for the user to pay corresponding fees can be enabled/upgraded by code scanning, and the other video conference terminals 220 have no permission to scan codes. The user uses the camera of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the unique ID number to scan the encrypted authorized two-dimensional code, and after scanning the code, the video conference terminal 220 acquires the configuration information and triggers an automatic hardware module/function control to be started/upgraded. And the automatic enabling/upgrading hardware module/function control retrieves/modifies/upgrades the bottom hardware configuration of the video conference terminal 220 and/or sets the enabling mode of the hardware module/function based on the configuration information, and finally completes the enabling/upgrading of the extended hardware module/function of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the user application and cost.
For example, the ID number of the video conference terminal of the user H is 2345618, and when the video conference terminal 220 cannot connect to the internet, the user H scans the two-dimensional code of the offline enabling/upgrading hardware module/function or video customer service of the video conference terminal 220 through a mobile phone, and applies for and pays for enabling the text recognition function of the processing module 227 for three months. The server 210 receives the unique ID number 2345618 of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the two-dimensional code, and determines that the user H pays for the text recognition function of the processing module 227 for three months. Then, the server 210 retrieves the configuration information of the word recognition function of the processing module 227 for three months from the database, and generates an encrypted authorization two-dimensional code (as shown in fig. 11) by combining the retrieved configuration information with the unique ID number 2345618 of the user paying the corresponding fee. The encrypted authorized two-dimensional code has uniqueness, only the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the unique ID number 2345618 paid by the user for the corresponding fee can be enabled/upgraded by code scanning, and the other video conference terminals 220 have no permission to scan codes. The user uses the camera of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the unique ID number 2345618 to scan the encrypted authorized two-dimensional code, and after the code is scanned, the video conference terminal 220 acquires the configuration information of the text recognition function of the three-month processing module 227 and triggers the video conference terminal 220 to automatically start/upgrade a hardware module/function control. The automatic enabling/upgrading hardware module/function control retrieves and modifies the bottom hardware configuration of the video conference terminal 220 based on the configuration information of the text recognition function of the three-month processing module 227, sets the text recognition function of the processing module 227 to be an enabling mode, sets the enabling duration to be three months, and finally completes the enabling/upgrading of the text recognition function of the three-month processing module 227 of the video conference terminal 220 with the unique ID number of 2345618.
Other enabling/upgrading modes of the video conference terminal 220 expansion hardware module/function corresponding to the user application and fee are enabled/upgraded for the video conference terminal 220 of the user. For example, the user may apply for the activation/upgrade of the hardware module/function and pay a corresponding fee to the official website/public number of the video conference terminal 220, download hardware configuration setting information corresponding to the hardware/module function and an activation/upgrade authorization number of the unique ID number of the video conference terminal 220 corresponding to the paid fee, open a developer mode in the video conference terminal 220, manually modify the bottom hardware configuration of the video conference terminal 220 according to the downloaded configuration information, and fill in the activation/upgrade authorization number to perform the activation/upgrade of the hardware module/function.
In a word, the invention mainly manages the hardware module/function of the video conference terminal with complete functions, so that the user can purchase hardware at a lower price to obtain basic function experience, then purchase corresponding hardware functions as required based on the use requirement of the user, pay according to the use month/year, and open the corresponding hardware functions after paying the service cost, so that the user can use the video conference terminal.
