The pet cat litter box with the self-cleaning function as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a sterilizing mechanism, wherein the sterilizing mechanism comprises a moving plate (29) horizontally arranged in the moving cavity (3), the moving plate (29) is in sliding connection with the inner wall of the moving cavity (3), the lower space of the moving cavity (3) is communicated with the right space of the reciprocating cavity (6) through a communicating pipe (28), the upper space of the moving cavity (3) is communicated with the outside through an air inlet pipe (30), the upper space of the moving cavity (3) is communicated with the liquid storage cavity (4) through an air outlet pipe (31), the air inlet pipe (30) and the air outlet pipe (31) are both provided with a one-way valve, the inner top of the spraying cavity (5) is fixedly connected with a hollow plate (33), the liquid storage cavity (4) is communicated with the hollow plate (33) through a liquid spraying pipe (32), and a disinfectant is arranged in the liquid storage cavity (4).
