For example, in a URL requested by a download request sent by a user terminal to a content distribution server, a delivery request identifier, an application display page identifier, and a delivery location identifier (that is, the delivery request identifier, the application display page identifier, and the delivery location identifier are all part of application delivery information) may be mounted on the URL in the form of a query parameter. In the process of pre-selecting the target query parameter, a parameter for recording the launch request identifier, a parameter for recording the application display page identifier, and a parameter for recording the launch position identifier may be selected as the target query parameter.
In determining the type of the download request, it may be determined whether the target query parameter is empty, and in the case that the target query parameter is not empty (i.e., in the case that the target query parameter has a value), it is determined that the download request is of the attribution type. If the target query parameter is null, it may be determined that the download request is not of the attribution type.
Therefore, whether the URL of the request is mounted with the application release information can be determined according to the target query parameter so as to determine whether the download request is of the attribution type, and the follow-up operation is executed aiming at the download request of the attribution type, so that the invalid operation of the download request which does not need attribution is avoided.
In yet another embodiment, determining the type of the download request may include: the URL requested by the attributed type of download request sets a specific host (i.e., a specific host and port). In the process of determining the type of the download request, it may be determined whether a URL requested by the download request is a predetermined, specific host, and if the requested URL is the predetermined, specific host, it may be determined that the download request is an attribution type.
In yet another embodiment, determining the type of the download request may include: the URL requested by the download request due to the type sets a specific path. In the process of determining the download type, it may be determined whether the URL requested by the download request is a predetermined specific path, and if the requested URL is the predetermined specific path, it may be determined that the download request is the attribution type.
In determining whether the download request is of the attribution type, three distinguishing ways (distinguishing by host of the URL, distinguishing by path of the URL, and determining whether the target query parameter is of the empty part) can be combined to determine whether the download request is of the attribution type.
Optionally, the target application package further includes an information reporting SDK, where the information reporting SDK is configured to match a preset conversion rule according to an operating state of a target application, and send installation source information of the target application and conversion information corresponding to the matched conversion rule to a media server.
The information reporting SDK may be an SDK preset in an application installation package of the target application and used for reporting the conversion information. The conversion information is information for recording the conversion condition. And when the running state of the target application meets the preset conversion rule, completing one conversion.
The running state of the target application may be an event generated by the target application in response to an operation by the user. For example, if the user terminal completes registration in response to the user operation, the event of user registration is completed in the target application (the running state of the target application is that the user completes registration); for another example, when the user terminal completes payment in the target application in response to the user's operation, a payment event is fulfilled in the target application (the running state of the target application generates payment for the user).
One or more conditions can be set in the conversion rule, when the running state of the target application meets one condition in the conversion rule, the corresponding conversion is completed, and the conversion which can be completed is recorded as conversion information.
For example, a rule of "user completes registration" may be set in the conversion rule, when the running state of the target application satisfies the condition of "user completes registration", that is, the conversion of "user completes registration" is completed, and an event of "user completes registration" may be recorded in the conversion information (that is, the conversion information corresponding to the conversion rule to which the running state of the target application is matched includes an event of "user completes registration"). The installation source information and the conversion information can be sent to the media server through the information reporting SDK.
Therefore, the installation source information is sent to the media server through the information reporting SDK, so that the media server can acquire the installation source information of the application after the user terminal installs the target application; the conversion information is sent to the media server through the information reporting SDK, so that the media server can timely and automatically acquire the subsequent conversion condition (such as whether registration is completed or not and whether payment is generated) after the user installs the target application. Therefore, the media can count and analyze the installation source information and the conversion information conveniently so as to adjust the distribution strategy of the installation source information when the released content is distributed in the media server, provide data support for realizing accurate and effective content distribution, and further improve the matching degree between the content distribution of the media server and the user requirements.
The present disclosure also provides an installation source determining apparatus for an application, as shown in fig. 2, where the apparatus 20 includes:
a receiving module 201, configured to receive a download request from a user terminal by a content distribution server; wherein the download request is for requesting an application package of a target application;
a first determining module 202, configured to determine, based on the download request, a download address corresponding to the application package and application delivery information corresponding to the download request;
the processing module 203 is configured to obtain the application package based on the download address, and write the application delivery information into the application package to obtain a target application package;
a sending module 204, configured to send the target application package to the user terminal, so that when the user terminal runs the target application based on the target application package, the installation source information of the target application is determined based on the application delivery information in the target application package.
Optionally, the download request includes offset location information;
the processing module comprises:
the downloading submodule is used for downloading the data stream of the application program package based on the downloading address;
the writing submodule is used for writing the application launching information into the data stream from the initial position when the position of the downloaded data stream reaches the initial position indicated by the offset position information;
and the processing submodule is used for continuously downloading the data stream of the application program package from the target position behind the initial position, and determining a file formed by the downloaded data stream as the target application program package.
Optionally, the application launch information includes a launch request identifier corresponding to the application display page, or the application launch information includes at least two of a launch request identifier, an application display page identifier, and a launch location identifier corresponding to the application display page.
Optionally, the download request is generated by:
the media server distributes application display information to the user terminal, wherein the application display information comprises a download address corresponding to the application program package and application delivery information corresponding to the download request;
and responding to the selection operation of the user in the display page for displaying the target application in the user terminal, and generating the downloading request based on the application display information.
Optionally, the apparatus further comprises:
a second determining module, configured to determine a type of the download request;
and the execution module is used for triggering the first determination module to determine a download address corresponding to the application program package and application release information corresponding to the download request based on the download request if the type of the download request is a cause type.
Optionally, the second determining module includes:
the first determining submodule is used for determining whether a target query parameter in the downloading request is empty;
and the second determining sub-module is used for determining that the downloading request is of an attribution type if the target query parameter is not null.
Optionally, the target application package further includes an information reporting SDK, where the information reporting SDK is configured to match a preset conversion rule according to an operating state of a target application, and send installation source information of the target application and conversion information corresponding to the matched conversion rule to a media server.
Referring now to FIG. 3, a block diagram of an electronic device 600 suitable for use in implementing embodiments of the present disclosure is shown. The terminal device in the embodiments of the present disclosure may include, but is not limited to, a mobile terminal such as a mobile phone, a notebook computer, a digital broadcast receiver, a PDA (personal digital assistant), a PAD (tablet computer), a PMP (portable multimedia player), a vehicle terminal (e.g., a car navigation terminal), and the like, and a stationary terminal such as a digital TV, a desktop computer, and the like. The electronic device shown in fig. 3 is only an example, and should not bring any limitation to the functions and the scope of use of the embodiments of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 3, electronic device 600 may include a processing device (e.g., central processing unit, graphics processor, etc.) 601 that may perform various appropriate actions and processes in accordance with a program stored in a Read Only Memory (ROM) 602 or a program loaded from a storage device 608 into a Random Access Memory (RAM) 603. In the RAM 603, various programs and data necessary for the operation of the electronic apparatus 600 are also stored. The processing device 601, the ROM 602, and the RAM 603 are connected to each other via a bus 604. An input/output (I/O) interface 605 is also connected to bus 604.
Generally, the following devices may be connected to the I/O interface 605: input devices 606 including, for example, a touch screen, touch pad, keyboard, mouse, camera, microphone, accelerometer, gyroscope, etc.; output devices 607 including, for example, a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), a speaker, a vibrator, and the like; storage 608 including, for example, magnetic tape, hard disk, etc.; and a communication device 609. The communication means 609 may allow the electronic device 600 to communicate with other devices wirelessly or by wire to exchange data. While fig. 3 illustrates an electronic device 600 having various means, it is to be understood that not all illustrated means are required to be implemented or provided. More or fewer devices may alternatively be implemented or provided.
In particular, the processes described above with reference to the flow diagrams may be implemented as computer software programs, according to embodiments of the present disclosure. For example, embodiments of the present disclosure include a computer program product comprising a computer program carried on a non-transitory computer readable medium, the computer program containing program code for performing the method illustrated by the flow chart. In such an embodiment, the computer program may be downloaded and installed from a network via the communication means 609, or installed from the storage means 608, or installed from the ROM 602. The computer program, when executed by the processing device 601, performs the above-described functions defined in the methods of the embodiments of the present disclosure.
It should be noted that the computer readable medium of the present disclosure may be a computer readable signal medium or a computer readable storage medium or any combination of the two. A computer readable storage medium may be, for example, but not limited to, an electronic, magnetic, optical, electromagnetic, infrared, or semiconductor system, apparatus, or device, or any combination of the foregoing. More specific examples of the computer readable storage medium may include, but are not limited to: an electrical connection having one or more wires, a portable computer diskette, a hard disk, a Random Access Memory (RAM), a read-only memory (ROM), an erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM or flash memory), an optical fiber, a portable compact disc read-only memory (CD-ROM), an optical storage device, a magnetic storage device, or any suitable combination of the foregoing. In the present disclosure, a computer readable storage medium may be any tangible medium that can contain, or store a program for use by or in connection with an instruction execution system, apparatus, or device. In contrast, in the present disclosure, a computer readable signal medium may comprise a propagated data signal with computer readable program code embodied therein, either in baseband or as part of a carrier wave. Such a propagated data signal may take many forms, including, but not limited to, electro-magnetic, optical, or any suitable combination thereof. A computer readable signal medium may be any computer readable medium that is not a computer readable storage medium and that can communicate, propagate, or transport a program for use by or in connection with an instruction execution system, apparatus, or device. Program code embodied on a computer readable medium may be transmitted using any appropriate medium, including but not limited to: electrical wires, optical cables, RF (radio frequency), etc., or any suitable combination of the foregoing.
In some embodiments, the user terminals, media servers, content distribution servers may communicate using any currently known or future developed network Protocol, such as HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol), and may be interconnected with any form or medium of digital data communication (e.g., a communications network). Examples of communication networks include a local area network ("LAN"), a wide area network ("WAN"), the Internet (e.g., the Internet), and peer-to-peer networks (e.g., ad hoc peer-to-peer networks), as well as any currently known or future developed network.
The computer readable medium may be embodied in the electronic device; or may exist separately without being assembled into the electronic device.
The computer readable medium carries one or more programs which, when executed by the electronic device, cause the electronic device to: the content distribution server receives a download request from a user terminal; wherein the download request is used for requesting an application package of a target application; if the type of the downloading request is a cause type, determining a downloading address corresponding to the application program package and application delivery information corresponding to the downloading request based on the downloading request; acquiring the application program package based on the download address, and writing the application release information into the application program package to acquire a target application program package; and sending the target application program package to the user terminal, so that the user terminal determines the installation source information of the target application based on the application delivery information in the target application program package when the target application is operated by the user terminal based on the target application program package.
Computer program code for carrying out operations for the present disclosure may be written in any combination of one or more programming languages, including but not limited to an object oriented programming language such as Java, smalltalk, C + +, and conventional procedural programming languages, such as the "C" programming language or similar programming languages. The program code may execute entirely on the user's computer, partly on the user's computer, as a stand-alone software package, partly on the user's computer and partly on a remote computer or entirely on the remote computer or server. In the case of a remote computer, the remote computer may be connected to the user's computer through any type of network, including a Local Area Network (LAN) or a Wide Area Network (WAN), or the connection may be made to an external computer (for example, through the Internet using an Internet service provider).
The flowchart and block diagrams in the figures illustrate the architecture, functionality, and operation of possible implementations of systems, methods and computer program products according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. In this regard, each block in the flowchart or block diagrams may represent a module, segment, or portion of code, which comprises one or more executable instructions for implementing the specified logical function(s). It should also be noted that, in some alternative implementations, the functions noted in the block may occur out of the order noted in the figures. For example, two blocks shown in succession may, in fact, be executed substantially concurrently, or the blocks may sometimes be executed in the reverse order, depending upon the functionality involved. It will also be noted that each block of the block diagrams and/or flowchart illustration, and combinations of blocks in the block diagrams and/or flowchart illustration, can be implemented by special purpose hardware-based systems that perform the specified functions or acts, or combinations of special purpose hardware and computer instructions.
The modules described in the embodiments of the present disclosure may be implemented by software or hardware. For example, the processing module may be further described as a module that obtains the application package based on the download address, writes the application placement information into the application package, and obtains a target application package "
The functions described herein above may be performed, at least in part, by one or more hardware logic components. For example, without limitation, exemplary types of hardware logic components that may be used include: field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), application Specific Standard Products (ASSPs), systems on a chip (SOCs), complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLDs), and the like.
In the context of this disclosure, a machine-readable medium may be a tangible medium that can contain, or store a program for use by or in connection with an instruction execution system, apparatus, or device. The machine-readable medium may be a machine-readable signal medium or a machine-readable storage medium. A machine-readable medium may include, but is not limited to, an electronic, magnetic, optical, electromagnetic, infrared, or semiconductor system, apparatus, or device, or any suitable combination of the foregoing. More specific examples of a machine-readable storage medium would include an electrical connection based on one or more wires, a portable computer diskette, a hard disk, a Random Access Memory (RAM), a read-only memory (ROM), an erasable programmable read-only memory (EPROM or flash memory), an optical fiber, a compact disc read-only memory (CD-ROM), an optical storage device, a magnetic storage device, or any suitable combination of the foregoing.
Example 1 provides an installation source determination method of an application, according to one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, wherein the method includes: the content distribution server receives a download request from a user terminal; wherein the download request is for requesting an application package of a target application; determining a download address corresponding to the application program package and application delivery information corresponding to the download request based on the download request; acquiring the application program package based on the download address, and writing the application release information into the application program package to acquire a target application program package; and sending the target application program package to the user terminal, so that the user terminal determines the installation source information of the target application based on the application delivery information in the target application program package when the target application is operated by the user terminal based on the target application program package.
Example 2 provides the method of example 1, wherein the download request includes offset location information; the obtaining the application package based on the download address, and writing the application delivery information into the application package to obtain a target application package, includes: downloading the data stream of the application program package based on the downloading address; when the position of the downloaded data stream reaches the initial position indicated by the offset position information, writing the application launching information in the data stream from the initial position; and continuously downloading the data stream of the application program package from the target position behind the initial position, and determining the file formed by the downloaded data stream as the target application program package.
Example 3 provides the method of example 1, wherein the application placement information includes a placement request identifier corresponding to an application display page, or the application placement information includes at least two of a placement request identifier, an application display page identifier, and a placement location identifier corresponding to an application display page.
Example 4 provides the method of example 1, wherein the download request is generated by: the media server distributes application display information to the user terminal, wherein the application display information comprises a download address corresponding to the application program package and application delivery information corresponding to the download request; and responding to the selection operation of the user in the display page for displaying the target application in the user terminal, and generating the downloading request based on the application display information.
Example 5 provides the method of example 1, wherein, prior to the determining, based on the download request, a download address corresponding to the application package and application placement information corresponding to the download request, the method further comprises: determining a type of the download request; and if the type of the downloading request is a cause type, executing the step of determining a downloading address corresponding to the application program package and application release information corresponding to the downloading request based on the downloading request.
Example 6 provides the method of example 5, wherein the determining the type of the download request includes: determining whether a target query parameter in the download request is null; and if the target query parameter is not null, determining that the download request is of an attribution type.
According to one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, example 7 provides the method of example 1, where the target application package further includes an information reporting SDK, where the information reporting SDK is configured to match a preset conversion rule according to an operating state of a target application, and send installation source information of the target application and conversion information corresponding to the matched conversion rule to a media server.
Example 8 provides, in accordance with one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, an installation source determination apparatus of an application, the apparatus comprising: a receiving module, which is used for the content distribution server to receive the downloading request from the user terminal; wherein the download request is for requesting an application package of a target application; a first determining module, configured to determine, based on the download request, a download address corresponding to the application package and application delivery information corresponding to the download request; the processing module is used for acquiring the application program package based on the download address, writing the application release information into the application program package and acquiring a target application program package; and the sending module is used for sending the target application program package to the user terminal so that the user terminal determines the installation source information of the target application based on the application delivery information in the target application program package when the target application is operated by the user terminal based on the target application program package.
Example 9 provides, in accordance with one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, a computer-readable medium having stored thereon a computer program that, when executed by a processing device, performs the steps of the method of any of examples 1-7.
Example 10 provides, in accordance with one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device comprising:
a storage device having a computer program stored thereon; processing means for executing the computer program in the storage means to carry out the steps of the method of any of examples 1-7.

Claims (10)

1. A method for determining an installation source of an application, comprising:
the content distribution server receives a download request from a user terminal; wherein the download request is used for requesting an application package of a target application;
determining a download address corresponding to the application program package and application delivery information corresponding to the download request based on the download request;
acquiring the application program package based on the download address, and writing the application release information into the application program package to acquire a target application program package;
and sending the target application program package to the user terminal so that the user terminal determines the installation source information of the target application based on the application delivery information in the target application program package when the target application is operated by the user terminal based on the target application program package.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein the download request includes offset location information;
the obtaining the application package based on the download address, and writing the application delivery information into the application package to obtain a target application package, includes:
downloading the data stream of the application program package based on the downloading address;
when the position of the downloaded data stream reaches the initial position indicated by the offset position information, writing the application launching information in the data stream from the initial position;
and continuously downloading the data stream of the application program package from the target position behind the initial position, and determining the file formed by the downloaded data stream as the target application program package.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein the application placement information comprises a placement request identifier corresponding to an application display page, or wherein the application placement information comprises at least two of a placement request identifier, an application display page identifier, and a placement location identifier corresponding to an application display page.
4. The method of claim 1, wherein the download request is generated by:
the media server distributes application display information to the user terminal, wherein the application display information comprises a download address corresponding to the application program package and application delivery information corresponding to the download request;
and responding to the selection operation of the user in the display page for displaying the target application in the user terminal, and generating the downloading request based on the application display information.
5. The method according to claim 1, wherein before the step of determining the download address corresponding to the application package and the application placement information corresponding to the download request based on the download request, the method further comprises:
determining a type of the download request;
and if the type of the downloading request is a cause type, executing the step of determining a downloading address corresponding to the application program package and application release information corresponding to the downloading request based on the downloading request.
6. The method of claim 5, wherein the determining the type of the download request comprises:
determining whether a target query parameter in the download request is null;
and if the target query parameter is not null, determining that the download request is of an attribution type.
7. The method of claim 1, wherein the target application package further comprises an information reporting SDK, and wherein the information reporting SDK is configured to match a preset conversion rule according to an operating state of a target application, and send installation source information of the target application and conversion information corresponding to the matched conversion rule to a media server.
8. An installation source determination device for an application, comprising:
a receiving module, which is used for the content distribution server to receive the downloading request from the user terminal; wherein the download request is used for requesting an application package of a target application;
a first determining module, configured to determine, based on the download request, a download address corresponding to the application package and application delivery information corresponding to the download request;
the processing module is used for acquiring the application program package based on the download address, writing the application release information into the application program package and acquiring a target application program package;
and the sending module is used for sending the target application program package to the user terminal so that the user terminal determines the installation source information of the target application based on the application delivery information in the target application program package when the target application is operated by the user terminal based on the target application program package.
9. A computer-readable medium, on which a computer program is stored, characterized in that the program, when being executed by processing means, carries out the steps of the method of any one of claims 1 to 7.
10. An electronic device, comprising:
a storage device having a computer program stored thereon;
processing means for executing the computer program in the storage means to carry out the steps of the method according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
