Detailed Description
(1) Brief description of the embodiments
At least the following matters will become apparent from the description of the present specification and the accompanying drawings.
An absorbent article according to one aspect includes: a length direction and a width direction orthogonal to each other; a liquid-permeable surface sheet; a liquid impermeable back sheet; and an absorbent body disposed between the front sheet and the back sheet, the absorbent body having an absorbent material containing at least hydrophilic fibers and a super absorbent polymer. The absorber includes a functional material having at least one of a deodorizing function and an antibacterial function. A colored region in which at least the absorbent material is colored is provided on the skin-facing surface of the absorbent body. According to this aspect, since the absorbent body is provided with the functional material and the colored region is provided on the skin-facing surface of the absorbent body, the user can easily grasp the colored absorbent body and can easily grasp what function the absorbent body performs. The area that performs a function such as a deodorizing function can be grasped before use, and a feeling of reassurance for the function can be easily obtained. In addition, since the colored region is provided on the skin-facing surface of the absorber, the color of the body fluid can be masked by the colored region after the body fluid is absorbed by the absorber. Therefore, when visually recognizing the used absorbent article, the user can easily feel that the body fluid is sanitarily held, and can easily feel the function such as the deodorization function.
According to a preferred mode, the absorbent body is colored with a binder for solidifying the absorbent material. According to this aspect, the absorbent body can be colored over the entire application surface of the adhesive agent, and the absorbent body having the functional material can be made conspicuous. The user can grasp the area in which the function such as the deodorization function is exerted, and can easily obtain a sense of security for the function. In addition, the absorbent body is in the form of a sheet consolidated with a binder, the distance between the hydrophilic fibers becomes narrow, and body fluid easily reaches the SAP. Therefore, when absorbing body fluid, the function such as a deodorizing function is more easily exhibited, and the user can more easily obtain the effect.
According to a preferred embodiment, the absorber is colored with an aqueous ink. According to this aspect, the entire absorbent body can be colored with the water-based ink. Further, by using the aqueous ink, the absorption performance of the body fluid is not inhibited, and the absorption performance can be ensured.
According to a preferred mode, the functional material is disposed on the super absorbent polymer. The superabsorbent polymer is colored. According to this aspect, the super absorbent polymer provided with the functional material is colored itself, and the colored portion where the user recognizes the function coincides with the portion where the function is exerted. Since the portion that performs the function can be identified and used, the user can more easily feel the function. In addition, when a body fluid is absorbed by the super absorbent polymer, the color of the body fluid can be masked.
According to a preferred aspect, the color of the skin-facing surface of the absorber is darker than the color of the non-skin-facing surface of the absorber. The user visually recognizes the absorbent article from the skin-facing surface side before use. According to this aspect, the colored region becomes more conspicuous, and the user can easily grasp the function.
According to a preferred aspect, the surface sheet is provided with a sheet concave portion that is depressed in the thickness direction of the surface sheet and depressed in the thickness direction, and a sheet convex portion that protrudes from the sheet concave portion and has a density lower than that of the sheet concave portion. The sheet concave portion and the sheet convex portion are provided so as to overlap the colored region. In the sheet concave portion, the fibers of the surface sheet are compressed, and the density thereof becomes high. Therefore, the bodily fluid discharged onto the front sheet is easily introduced into the sheet concave portion. Since the fibers of the surface sheet are compressed in the sheet concave portion, the masking property is high. Therefore, by introducing the body fluid into the sheet concave portion having high masking property, the masking property of the body fluid after absorption can be further improved. Further, since the patch convex portion overlaps with the colored region, the visual visibility of the colored region can be ensured at least in the region overlapping with the patch convex portion.
According to a preferred embodiment, the absorbent body has: an upper region including a skin-facing surface of the absorber; and a lower region that is located closer to a non-skin-facing surface side than the upper region and includes a non-skin-facing surface of the absorber. The colored region is provided only in the upper region of the upper region and the lower region. The upper region is positioned on the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent article, and is easily visible to the user. By making the upper region conspicuous, the user can easily grasp the colored region, and can more easily recognize the region exhibiting the function such as the deodorization function before use.
According to a preferred aspect, the absorbent article has a central region in which at least the hydrophilic fibers are arranged and side regions located on the outer side of the central region. The functional material of the central region has a higher weight per unit area than the functional material of the side regions. According to this aspect, the central region is located inward of the side regions, and is a region that is easily arranged to face the excretory opening and easily discharges excreta. By providing a large amount of functional material in the central region, functions can be efficiently provided to the user.
According to a preferred aspect, the center region has a first center region and a second center region, and the second center region is disposed on the outer side in the width direction than the first center region and on the outer side in the longitudinal direction than the first center region. The functional material of the first central region has a higher weight per unit area than the functional material of the side regions. According to this aspect, the first central region is located inward of the second central region, and is a region that is easily arranged to face the excretory opening and easily discharges excreta. A large amount of functional material can be provided in the first central region, and functions can be efficiently provided to the user.
(2) General structure of absorbent article
Hereinafter, an absorbent article according to an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description of the drawings, the same or similar parts are denoted by the same or similar reference numerals. However, it should be noted that the drawings are schematic, and the ratio of the respective dimensions and the like are different from actual ones. Therefore, specific dimensions and the like should be determined with reference to the following description. In addition, the drawings may include portions having different dimensional relationships and ratios from each other.
The absorbent article is a panty liner. The absorbent article of the present invention may be any absorbent article that is worn and used in underpants, and may be, for example, a light incontinence pad. Fig. 1 is a plan view of the absorbent article 1 of the present embodiment as viewed from the skin-facing surface side. Fig. 2 is a plan view of the absorbent article shown in fig. 1, as viewed from the non-skin-facing surface side. Fig. 3 isbase:Sub>A schematic sectional view taken along thebase:Sub>A-base:Sub>A section of the absorbent article shown in fig. 1. In fig. 3, for convenience of explanation, the below-described tab concave portions 15 and tab convex portions 16 are omitted.
The absorbent article 1 has a longitudinal direction L and a width direction W orthogonal to each other. The longitudinal direction L is defined by a direction extending to the front side and the back side of the body. In other words, the longitudinal direction L is a direction extending in the front-rear direction in the unfolded absorbent article 1. The absorbent article 1 has a thickness direction T orthogonal to both the longitudinal direction L and the width direction W. The thickness direction T extends along a skin facing surface side T1 facing the wearer and a non-skin facing surface side T2 opposite to the skin facing surface side.
The absorbent article 1 has at least a topsheet 10, a backsheet 20, and an absorbent body 30. The top sheet 10 may be a liquid-permeable sheet such as a nonwoven fabric or an apertured plastic film. The front sheet 10 may be formed by laminating a plurality of sheets, or may have a second sheet. For example, the surface sheet 10 may be configured by a laminate of a cotton sheet containing cotton fibers and a sheet composed of rayon and polyethylene, or the surface sheet 10 may be configured by the laminate and a second sheet based on a through-air non-woven fabric. The top sheet 10 of the present embodiment is made of a hot air nonwoven fabric. More preferably, the surface sheet 10 may be formed of a through-air nonwoven fabric on the absorbent side. The air-through nonwoven fabric has large gaps between fibers, and the super absorbent polymer of the absorber described later is easily and uniformly arranged. Therefore, the super absorbent polymer 32 is likely to swell throughout the entire absorbent article, and the absorption performance can be improved.
The surface sheet 10 may be provided with sheet recesses 15 and sheet protrusions 16. In the sheet concave portion 15, the surface sheet 10 is compressed in the thickness direction T and dented in the thickness direction T. The sheet convex portions 16 protrude toward the skin facing surface side T1 than the sheet concave portions 15, and have a density lower than that of the sheet concave portions 15. The sheet concave portion 15 may be a portion where embossing is performed on the surface sheet 10, and the sheet convex portion 16 may be a portion where embossing is not performed. The sheet concave portions 15 may be provided in a plurality of dot-like shapes at intervals in a plan view. The sheet convex portion 16 may be disposed so as to surround the sheet concave portion 15.
The back sheet 20 may be formed of a liquid impermeable sheet such as a plastic film. The back sheet 20 may have breathability. According to the back sheet 20 having air permeability, when absorbing urine and sweat, moisture is easily discharged to the outside of the absorbent article 1 through the back sheet 20. Therefore, stuffiness can be reduced and the wearing feeling can be improved. The front sheet 10 and the back sheet 20 reach the outer edge 1S of the absorbent article 1. In the present embodiment, the outer edge is an edge in the width direction W, the front edge is an edge on the front side, and the rear edge is an edge on the rear side. The outer edge is an entire outer peripheral edge including an outer edge, a front edge, and a rear edge.
The back sheet 20 has a pressure-sensitive adhesive section 50 disposed on a surface thereof not facing the skin for wearing the absorbent article 1 in underpants. The adhesive portion 50 extends in the width direction W, and is provided in plurality at intervals in the longitudinal direction L. The adhesive portion 50 may reach the outer edge 1E of the absorbent article 1. In a modification, the adhesive portions 50 may extend in the longitudinal direction L and be arranged at intervals in the width direction W.
The absorber 30 is disposed between the front sheet 10 and the back sheet 20. The absorbent body 30 has an absorbent material containing at least hydrophilic fibers 31 and Super Absorbent Polymers (SAP) 32. The absorbent material may further include an absorbent material other than the hydrophilic fibers 31 and the super absorbent polymer 32. The hydrophilic fiber 31 may be cellulose such as pulp, for example. The absorbent body 30 may be in the form of a sheet. The absorbent body 30 may also have a core wrap surrounding the absorbent material. As shown in fig. 3, the absorber 30 may have: an upper region R11, the upper region R11 including a skin-facing surface of the absorber 30; and a lower region R12 that is located closer to the non-skin-facing surface side T2 than the upper region R11, and that includes the non-skin-facing surface of the absorber 30. The boundary between the upper region R11 and the lower region R12 is a boundary that bisects the absorber 30 in the thickness direction T.
The absorber 30 is provided with a functional material. The functional material may have at least one of a deodorizing function and an antibacterial function. The functional material may be an absorbent material or a material different from the absorbent material. The functional material of the present embodiment is composed of a super absorbent polymer 32 and zeolite 33 disposed on the surface of the super absorbent polymer 32. Examples of the zeolite include zeolite substituted with at least one metal ion selected from the group consisting of silver ions, copper ions, zinc ions, and the like. The super absorbent polymer 32 absorbs and retains body fluid and exerts a deodorizing function. The zeolite 33 substituted with metal ions such as silver ions exerts an antibacterial function.
The outer edge 30E of the absorber 30 is located inward of the outer edge 1E of the absorbent article 1. That is, the front end edge 30F of the absorbent body 30 is located on the rear side of the front end edge 1F of the absorbent article 1, the rear end edge 30R of the absorbent body 30 is located on the front side of the rear end edge 1R of the absorbent article 1, and the outer edge 30S of the absorbent body 30 is located on the inner side in the width direction W than the outer edge 1S of the absorbent article 1. As shown in fig. 1, the absorbent article 1 has a central region RC and side regions RO located on the outer side of the central region RC. The central region RC is a region in which at least the hydrophilic fibers 31 are arranged in a plan view. An absorbent material other than the hydrophilic fibers 31, for example, a super absorbent polymer 32 may be disposed in the central region RC. The side region RO is a region located outside the center region RC in the longitudinal direction L and outside the center region RC in the width direction W. That is, the side regions RO are regions between the outer edge 30E of the absorbent body 30 and the outer edge 1E of the absorbent article 1. The front sheet 10 and the back sheet 20 are disposed in the side region RO. In the side region RO, the hydrophilic fibers (pulp in the present embodiment) 31 are not arranged, but the super absorbent polymer 32 is arranged. The super absorbent polymer 32 is disposed in the central region RC and the side regions RO. Therefore, even when urine is discharged beyond the central region RC, the superabsorbent polymer 32 can hold the urine and the like. In addition, the highly absorbent polymer 32 can adsorb ammonia components dissolved in water and gaseous ammonia, and can exhibit a deodorizing function. In a modification, the super absorbent polymer 32 may not be disposed in the side regions RO.
The center region RC may include a first center region RC1 and a second center region RC2, and the second center region RC2 may be disposed outside the first center region RC1 in the width direction W and outside the first center region RC1 in the longitudinal direction L. The first central region RC1 includes the center of the central region RC in the longitudinal direction L and the center of the central region RC in the width direction W. The boundary between the first central region RC1 and the second central region RC2 may be formed by a boundary that bisects the central region RC in the width direction W and a boundary that bisects the central region RC in the length direction L.
The absorbent article 1 of the present embodiment is configured such that the user can easily grasp the region that functions as a functional material. In more detail, the absorbent article 1 is provided with a colored region R30 in which at least the absorbent material is colored. The colored region R30 is provided at least on the skin-facing surface of the absorber 30. Since the absorbent body 30 is provided with the functional material and the colored region R30 is provided on the skin-facing surface of the absorbent body 30, the user can easily grasp the colored absorbent body 30 and can easily grasp what function the absorbent body 30 performs. The area that performs a function such as a deodorizing function can be grasped before use, and a feeling of reassurance for the function can be easily obtained. In addition, since the colored region R30 is provided on the skin-facing surface of the absorber 30, the color of the body fluid can be shielded by the colored region R30 after the body fluid is absorbed by the absorber 30. Therefore, when visually recognizing the used absorbent article 1, the user can easily feel that the body fluid is sanitarily held, and can more easily feel the function such as the deodorization function.
The colored region R30 may be provided by applying a colorant to the skin-facing surface of the absorber 30, or may be provided by mixing with a material constituting the absorber 30. The absorbent body 30 may be colored with a binder that consolidates the absorbent material. Specifically, the adhesive agent may be applied in a spray form so as to coat the skin-facing surface side of the absorbent body 30, thereby fixing the hydrophilic fibers 31 and the super absorbent polymer 32. By coloring the absorbent body 30 with the adhesive, the absorbent body 30 can be uniformly colored over the entire application surface of the adhesive, and the absorbent body 30 having the functional material can be made conspicuous. The user can grasp the area in which the function such as the deodorization function is exerted, and can easily obtain a sense of security for the function. In addition, since the absorbent body 30 is in the form of a sheet consolidated with a binder, the distance between the hydrophilic fibers 31 becomes narrow, and the body fluid easily reaches the super absorbent polymer 32. Therefore, when absorbing body fluid, the function such as a deodorizing function is more easily exhibited, and the user can more easily obtain the effect. As the binder, a binder containing vinyl acetate as a component can be used. In a modification, an antibacterial agent or a fragrance may be added to the binder, and a further deodorizing function and an antibacterial function may be added to the colored region.
The absorber 30 may be colored with an aqueous ink. The aqueous ink may be contained in the binder, or may be provided separately from the binder and applied to the absorbent body 30 separately from the binder. The entire absorbent body can be colored with an aqueous ink. Further, by using the aqueous ink, the absorption performance of the body fluid is not inhibited, and the absorption performance can be ensured.
The color of the colored region R30 is not limited. In one aspect, the colored region R30 may be colored with blue. Blue is a color that is common in nature, and is a color that gives a natural impression or gives a clean feeling. In the CIE1976 (L × a × b) color space defined in JIS Z8781-4, blue is a color within a range of 180 degrees to 315 degrees, with the axis in the a × red direction being 0 degrees. In another mode, the colored region R30 may be colored with green. Green is a color that is common in nature, and is a color that gives a natural impression or gives a clean feeling. In CIE1976 (L × a × b) color space, green is a color in a range of 90 degrees or more and 270 degrees or less when an axis in the a × red direction is set to 0 degree. In another embodiment, the colored region R30 may be colored with purple. In CIE1976 (L × a × b) color space, violet is a color in a range of 270 degrees to 360 degrees when the axis in the a × red direction is set to 0 degree.
The functional material is provided to the super absorbent polymer 32, and the super absorbent polymer 32 may be colored. In the present embodiment, the super absorbent polymer 32 is colored with an aqueous ink used as a binder. The super absorbent polymer 32 provided with the functional material is colored itself, and the user recognizes that the colored portion of the function coincides with the portion that performs the function. Since the portion that performs the function can be identified and used, the user can more easily feel the function. Further, since the super absorbent polymer 32 itself is colored, when the body fluid is absorbed by the super absorbent polymer 32, the body fluid held therein is hard to be seen from the outside, and the color of the body fluid can be masked.
The color of the skin-facing surface of the absorber 30 may be darker than the color of the non-skin-facing surface of the absorber 30. The user visually recognizes the absorbent article 1 from the skin-facing surface side T1 before use. In this case, the colored region R30 becomes more conspicuous, and the user can easily grasp the function. Here, the darker color may be a color having a higher chromaticity of the two colors to be compared, or may be a color having a lower brightness of the two colors to be compared. Preferably, the darker color is a color with higher chroma and lower lightness.
The sheet concave portion 15 and the sheet convex portion 16 of the front sheet 10 may be provided so as to overlap the colored region R30. In the sheet concave portion 15, the fibers of the surface sheet 10 are compressed, and the density thereof becomes high. Therefore, the body fluid discharged onto the topsheet 10 is easily introduced into the sheet recess 15. Since the fibers of the surface sheet 10 are compressed in the sheet concave portion 15, the shielding property is high. Therefore, by introducing the bodily fluid into the sheet concave portion 15 having high masking property, the masking property of the bodily fluid after absorption can be further improved. On the other hand, the density of the sheet convex portions 16 is lower than that of the sheet concave portions 15. Since the sheet convex portion 16 overlaps the colored region R30, the visual recognition of the colored region R30 can be ensured at least in the region overlapping the sheet convex portion 16. In addition, the sheet convex portions 16 and the sheet concave portions 15 can be used to form shadows, and the masking property of the body fluid after absorption can be further improved. In particular, when the absorbent article 1 is intended to absorb both of a body fluid having a high viscosity such as leucorrhea and menstrual blood and a body fluid having a low viscosity such as urine and sweat, both of the body fluids can be drawn into the sheet concave portions 15, but the body fluid having a high viscosity is likely to remain on the sheet convex portions 16. In addition to the visual recognition of the colored region R30, the masking effect of the body fluid is easily achieved. Further, since the viscosity of urine, which the user notices odor, is low, the urine easily penetrates through the top sheet 10 and comes into contact with the absorbent member 30 having a high deodorizing and antibacterial effect, thereby easily realizing the deodorizing and antibacterial effects.
The colored region R30 may be provided only in the upper region R11 of the upper region R11 and the lower region R12 of the absorber 30. The upper region R11 is positioned on the skin-facing surface side T1 of the absorbent article 1, and is easily visually recognized by the user. According to this embodiment, the upper region R11 can be made conspicuous, so that the user can easily grasp the colored region R30, and can more easily recognize the region exhibiting the function such as the deodorization function before use. Further, since the lower region R12 is not colored, it is difficult to hinder the design of a pattern or the like disposed on the back sheet 20 before use, and since it is easy to confirm how much body fluid reaches the back surface side after use, it is easy to grasp whether the absorption capacity of the product after use is appropriate. The absorber 30 may have a structure in which the upper region R11 and the lower region R12 are both fixed by pulp lamination and the upper region R11 and the lower region R12 are integrated. According to this structure, since there is no boundary between the layers (nonwoven fabrics) as in the absorbent body formed of a plurality of nonwoven fabrics or the like, the body fluid is easily transferred between the upper region R11 and the lower region R12, and the liquid return is less likely. The hydrophilicity of the upper region R11 may be different from the hydrophilicity of the lower region R12.
The functional material of the central region RC may have a higher weight per unit area than that of the functional material of the side regions RO. The central region RC is located inward in the longitudinal direction L and inward in the width direction W relative to the side regions RO, and is a region that is easily disposed to face the excretion portion and easily discharges the excretion. A large amount of functional material can be provided in the central region RC, and functions can be efficiently provided to the user.
The functional material of the present embodiment is composed of the super absorbent polymer 32 and the zeolite 33, and the comparison of the weights per unit area of the functional materials can be replaced by the comparison of the weights per unit area of the super absorbent polymer. As a method for measuring the weight per unit area, a test piece having the same area is cut out from each region, and the superabsorbent polymer contained in the test piece is taken out to measure the weight, whereby the weight per unit area can be measured.
As shown in fig. 3, in the central region RC, the density of the functional material may be different in the thickness direction T. More specifically, when the central region RC is divided into three equal parts in the thickness direction T, the central region RC can be divided into a central thickness region R31 including the center of the central region RC in the thickness direction T and an outer thickness region R32 disposed outside the central thickness region R31 in the thickness direction T. The thickness outer region R32 is provided on the skin facing surface side T1 and the non-skin facing surface side T2 of the thickness central region R31, respectively. The boundary between the thickness outer region R32 and the thickness central region R31 is a boundary that trisects the central region RC in the thickness direction T. The functional material in the thickness center region R31 may have a higher density than the functional material in the thickness outer region R32. Since the functional material in the thickness center region R31 has a high density, body fluid introduced into the center of the absorbent body 30 in the thickness direction T can be deodorized and antibacterial. Therefore, the generation of odor on the front surface side of the absorber can be suppressed. In the present embodiment, the density of the super absorbent polymer can be replaced with the density of the functional material, and the density can be measured as follows: the absorbent article is cut at a cross section along the thickness direction, and the number of super absorbent polymers contained in the same area is measured in each region by taking an image of the cross section by electron irradiation, and the density increases as the number increases.
The functional material of the first central region RC1 may have a higher weight per unit area than that of the functional material of the second central region RC 2. The first central region RC1 is located inward of the second central region RC2, and is a region that is easily arranged to face the excretory opening and easily discharges excreta. A large amount of functional material can be provided in the first central region RC1, and functions can be efficiently provided to the user.
While the present invention has been described in detail with reference to the above embodiments, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in the present specification.
