Typically, the wireless awareness process includes multiple phases of discovery, negotiation, and measurement. In the wireless sensing process, an initiator device (initiator) initiates a wireless sensing process, a responder device (responder) responds to the wireless sensing process, and after the roles, parameters, reporting modes and the like for sending and receiving sensing signals are coordinated by the two parties, sensing measurement is started to be executed. In the embodiment of the invention, the network device is a responder device, and is used as a sender (Transmitter) of the sensing signal, and the terminal (STA) is an initiator device and is used as a Receiver (Receiver) of the sensing signal. The network devices include routers, access Points (APs), and the like, and in the following embodiments, the present invention will be described in detail by taking an access point as an example, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for negotiating a broadcast aware process according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the method of the broadcast aware process negotiation includes the following:
s101, an access point broadcasts a broadcast message (such as a beacon message) containing a Sensing process information element, wherein the Sensing process information element contains a broadcast Sensing process identifier and Sensing process parameters.
In some embodiments, the access point may further include the Sensing element in a probe response message (e.g., a probe response message) in response to a probe request message (e.g., a probe request message) sent by the terminal, or a connection response message (e.g., association response message) in response to a connection request message (e.g., a association request message) sent by the terminal. Thus, the terminal can obtain the Sensing element from the broadcast message, or the probe response message, or the connection response message. And the Sensing process information element included in the broadcast message, the probe response message and the connection response message may be one or more.
Illustratively, the Sensing process parameters included in the Sensing element include a duration of a broadcast Sensing process, a transmission time of a next broadcast message including the Sensing process element, a transmission time of a next Sensing data packet, a Sensing data packet transmission bandwidth, and a channel of the Sensing data packet transmission. Optionally, the sensing process parameters included in the sensing process information element further indicate whether there are more sensing process information elements. An example of the Sensing procedure information element Sensing element setting is shown in table 1.
TABLE 1
In some embodiments, the Sensing process information element may further include an interval between two Sensing data packet transmissions, where an example of Sensing element setting is shown in table 2. Alternatively, the interval between two perception data packet transmissions may be set to be less than half of the broadcast message transmission interval.

Optionally, setting a response result according to a broadcast sensing process identifier or suggested sensing process information of the terminal request to join, where the sensing establishment request message includes: after receiving the request message for sensing establishment, the access point searches whether the local broadcast sensing process identifier corresponding to the parameter value exists according to Broadcast sensing ID if the value of the registration type is 1, if so, sets the parameter status code value as accepted, indicates to accept the request, and if not, sets the parameter status code value as returned, indicates to reject the request; if the registration type value is 2, it is determined according to Sensing parameters whether to accept the perception establishment request, if so, a new broadcast perception process identifier is allocated, and a parameter status code value is set to accepted, and if not, a parameter status code value is set to returned.

Then the terminal receives a sensing data packet according to the time indicated by Next sensing TX time, sensing TX bandwidth or/and Sensing TX channel in the read sensing process parameters, and obtains wireless channel information according to the received sensing data packet measurement; and denoising according to the measured wireless channel information, extracting the characteristics, and classifying and comparing to obtain a perception result.
In some embodiments, the terminal may also periodically read the broadcast message according to a transmission time of a broadcast message including a perception process information element next in the broadcast message, and if a duration of a broadcast perception process corresponding to a broadcast perception process identifier added by the terminal is 0, terminate the current perception process; if the terminal still needs to continue the sensing process, checking whether other sensing processes meeting the sensing service requirement exist in the broadcast message, and if so, sending a sensing establishment request message to the access point, wherein the sensing establishment request message contains a broadcast sensing process identifier Broadcast sensing ID which is hoped to be added, and executing steps S102-S105.
In some embodiments, if the terminal itself no longer needs to perform the aware process, the terminal sends a aware disconnect request message (e.g., sensing teardown request message) to the access point, which includes the broadcast aware process identification that the terminal requested to exit. Illustratively, the perceived disconnect request message settings are shown in table 5.
TABLE 5
After receiving the sensing disconnection request message, the access point sends a sensing disconnection response message to the terminal, wherein the sensing disconnection response message comprises a response result and a broadcast sensing process identifier. Illustratively, the perceived disconnect response message settings are shown in table 6.
TABLE 6
