Description

Electronic price tag communication method and device and electronic equipment
Technical Field
The invention mainly relates to the technical field of wireless communication, in particular to an electronic price tag communication method, an electronic price tag communication device and electronic equipment.
Background
In places such as business supermarkets, shops and the like, a paper price label (called price label for short) is used for displaying the traditional commodity price. If a merchant needs to modify the selling price of a commodity, the merchant not only needs to manually search the paper price tag corresponding to the commodity and manually replace the paper price tag, but also needs to update the price of the commodity in the cash registering system so as to keep the price displayed by the price tag consistent with the price in the cash registering system. If the price of the commodity is changed frequently or more commodities needing price changing, the price changing operation of the paper price tag is time-consuming and labor-consuming and is easy to make mistakes.
An Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) overcomes the above-mentioned shortcomings of paper price labels, and is an electronic display device with information transceiving function, which can replace the traditional paper price labels. For example, when the price needs to be changed, the price displayed by the electronic price tag can be changed in real time only by changing in a background cash register system or through an intelligent handheld terminal, so that a large amount of labor cost and management cost are saved.
The electronic price tag is generally powered by a battery, and a sleep mechanism is designed to periodically sleep and wake up in order to save electric power. The related electronic price tag data updating method is that the electronic price tag receives a wake-up message sent by a base station when being in a wake-up state, the wake-up message comprises the appointed time of the next wake-up of the electronic price tag, and the updating data is received at the appointed time of the next wake-up. It can be seen that the data update in this case is the agreed-upon wake-up time after the electronic price tag receives the wake-up message. In addition, there is a case in the related electronic price tag data updating method that when the base station has data update and transmits a wake-up message to the electronic price tag, the electronic price tag is in a dormant state and cannot receive the wake-up message transmitted by the base station. Therefore, in the aforementioned case, the electronic price tag needs to receive the wake-up message of the base station first, resulting in a slow response rate of updating data.

Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a networking of an electronic price tag communication system of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the system includes four parts, namely a server 110, a base station 120 (or referred to as a wireless access point), an electronic price tag 130 and an intelligent handheld terminal 140. The base station 120 is connected to the server 110 by wire or wirelessly, and each electronic price tag 130 communicates with the base station 120 through a wireless network. For example, when the electronic price tag 130 needs to be changed in price, first, the server 110 transmits updated price information to the base station 120. The base station 120 then wirelessly transmits the updated price information to the electronic price tag 130. Finally, the electronic price tag 130 displays the updated price information. The smart handheld terminal 140 may be configured to perform wireless communication with a certain electronic price tag 130 individually, and perform operations such as binding and price changing of the electronic price tag 130. In addition, since most of the electronic price tag 130 is powered by a battery, the electronic price tag 130 generally has a sleep mechanism to save power, and therefore, when the base station 120 has update data and sends a wake-up message to the electronic price tag 130, the electronic price tag 130 may be in a sleep state and cannot receive the wake-up message sent by the base station 120.
Example one
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a data updating process of the electronic price tag communication system in the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, when data updating needs to be performed on the electronic price tag, the server sends corresponding updating data to the base station, and the base station establishes communication connection with the electronic price tag and updates the data. Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of an electronic price tag registration process of the electronic price tag communication system of the present invention, and fig. 3 shows the communication and data exchange relationship among the electronic price tag, the base station, and the service in detail. Since the present embodiment relates to only the communication method on the electronic price tag side, the present embodiment relates to only a part of the contents in fig. 2 and 3, and other contents will be referred to and described in detail in the following embodiments.
Figure 4 is a flow diagram illustrating a method of electronic price tag communication in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 4, the method 400 is applied to the electronic price tag side, including:
s410, after the base station is awakened autonomously, a paging message sent by the base station is received, wherein the paging message comprises a short address of an electronic price tag to be paged.
In this embodiment, the electronic price tag has a sleep mechanism, that is, the electronic price tag is in a state of periodically sleeping and autonomously waking up, when the electronic price tag is sleeping, it cannot communicate with the base station and update data, and when the electronic price tag is set according to its own mechanism, after the electronic price tag autonomously wakes up, it immediately starts communication connection with the base station. Therefore, the electronic price tag searches the paging message sent by the base station in time after the electronic price tag is awakened autonomously, and when the paging message sent by the base station is searched, the paging message is received, wherein the paging message contains the short address (or called internal address) of the electronic price tag to be paged.
S420, judging whether the short address in the paging message is consistent with the short address of the electronic price tag.
In general, as shown in fig. 1, in the electronic price tag communication networking, when an initial networking system is set, the electronic price tag is registered in a base station, and the base station gives a short address to the electronic price tag, where the short address corresponds to an identity of the electronic price tag one to one, and the short address is used for matching the base station and establishing a communication connection relationship with the base station. When the electronic price tag receives the paging message sent by the base station, whether the short address in the paging message is consistent with the short address of the electronic price tag is judged, and whether the electronic price tag establishes communication connection with the base station is further determined.
In another case, if the short address in the paging message is inconsistent with the short address of the electronic price tag, indicating that the electronic price tag does not need to update data at present, the electronic price tag continues to periodically sleep and autonomously wake up according to its own sleep mechanism, and after the electronic price tag is autonomously waken up next time, the electronic price tag tries to communicate with the base station.
S430, if the short address in the paging message is consistent with the short address of the electronic price tag, sending a communication connection request to the base station.
If the short address in the paging message is consistent with the short address of the electronic price tag, the electronic price tag is registered in the base station and can establish communication connection with the base station, and then the electronic price tag sends a communication connection request to the base station. The underlying communication technology adopted in this embodiment is not specifically limited, and may be bluetooth (including low power consumption bluetooth), zigBee (based on the ieee802.15.4 standard low power consumption local area network protocol), a private protocol, and the like, and the frequency band used for communication is also not specifically limited, and may be an unlicensed free frequency band (such as a 2.4GHz ISM frequency band), or a commercial licensed frequency band.
And S440, receiving the updating data sent by the base station.
And the electronic price tag receives the updating data sent by the base station to realize the timely updating of the data. For example, the price of the goods, the sales promotion mark, the multiple currency price, the stock amount, and the like are updated. The update data may be a command for flashing a light, sounding, vibrating, or the like on the electronic price tag, or may be an upgrade package of the internal firmware of the electronic price tag.
In one possible implementation, the electronic price tag continues to periodically sleep and autonomously wake up after receiving the update data sent by the base station. After the data updating is finished, the electronic price tag continues to periodically sleep and automatically wake up according to the own sleep mechanism so as to save the energy consumption of the electronic price tag, and the electronic price tag is in communication connection with the base station and updates data until the electronic price tag is automatically woken up next time.
According to the electronic price tag communication method, after the electronic price tag is automatically awakened, the paging message sent by the base station is received in time, whether the short address in the paging message is consistent with the self short address is judged, if yes, a communication connection request is sent to the base station, and finally updated data sent by the base station is received. Therefore, after the electronic price tag is awakened autonomously, once the paging message of the base station is received, the communication connection with the base station is established in time and the updating data is received, the communication connection with the base station is not needed to be established and the data is updated after the awakening message of the base station is received, and the response speed of the updating data of the electronic price tag is improved.
Example two
Fig. 5 is a flow chart illustrating an electronic price tag communication method according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the electronic price tag needs to be registered before receiving the update data, and the electronic price tag communication method includes an electronic price tag registration method. As shown in fig. 5, the method 500 is applied to the electronic price tag side, and includes:
and S510, after the electronic price tag is automatically awakened, searching for registration broadcast information sent by the base station on a broadcast channel.
In a conventional electronic price tag networking mode, when an electronic price tag is networked (i.e., the electronic price tag is associated and registered with a certain base station), the electronic price tag sends networking broadcast messages on a plurality of broadcast channels at a time interval of 1.25 milliseconds. However, frequently sending broadcast messages by electronic price tags is not an energy efficient way, as the power consumption incurred when sending broadcast messages will be greater than the power consumption incurred when listening for broadcast messages. In addition, if the base station cannot receive the broadcast message sent by the electronic price tag for some reason (such as channel interference, power failure, crash, etc.), the electronic price tag will continuously send the broadcast message, which undoubtedly consumes a lot of battery energy of the electronic price tag and shortens the life of the electronic price tag. On the contrary, if the base station periodically transmits the broadcast message and the electronic price tag receives the broadcast message for networking, since the power consumption generated when the broadcast message is intercepted is less than that generated when the broadcast message is transmitted, the battery energy consumption of the electronic price tag is reduced, and the service life of the electronic price tag is prolonged.
In this embodiment, a conventional electronic price tag registration method is changed, after the electronic price tag is automatically awakened, registration broadcast information sent by a relevant base station is searched on a broadcast channel, and if the electronic price tag searches the registration broadcast information sent by the base station, a subsequent registration procedure is triggered. Because the electronic price tag adopts a monitoring mode, the electric quantity loss of the electronic price tag can be reduced.
And S520, if the registration broadcast information is searched, sending registration information to the base station.
When the electronic price tag searches the registration broadcast information sent by the base station, a registration program of the electronic price tag is triggered, the electronic price tag sends registration information to the base station, such as an electronic price tag serial number, an electronic price tag ID, an electronic price tag type, an electronic price tag model number, an electronic price tag current firmware version, an electronic price tag electric quantity, a signal intensity and the like, and further communication interaction is established between the electronic price tag and the base station, so that registration of the electronic price tag is completed.
And S530, after the electronic price tag is successfully registered, receiving the short address and the base station information sent by the base station.
In this embodiment, if the base station allows the electronic price tag to be registered, after the electronic price tag is registered, the electronic price tag receives the short address (the short address is the address allocated to the electronic price tag after the base station grants the electronic price tag registration) and the base station information sent by the base station. After the subsequent electronic price tag is awakened autonomously according to the dormancy mechanism of the subsequent electronic price tag, communication connection can be carried out according to the short address and the base station information acquired during registration, and preparation is made for subsequent data updating.
In another case, after the registration of the electronic price tag is unsuccessful, the electronic price tag receives verification information that the registration is unsuccessful and is sent by the base station, and at this time, the electronic price tag returns to a factory mode, so that the electronic price tag can be registered when a registration broadcast message of the base station is searched next time.
S410, after the base station is awakened autonomously, a paging message sent by the base station is received, wherein the paging message comprises a short address of an electronic price tag to be paged. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
S420, judging whether the short address in the paging message is consistent with the short address of the electronic price tag. The detailed description of the steps is given above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
S430, if the short address in the paging message is consistent with the short address of the electronic price tag, sending a communication connection request to the base station. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
S440, receiving the updating data sent by the base station. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
Meanwhile, the electronic price tag starts the registration process by receiving the registration broadcast message sent by the base station, so that the energy consumption of a battery of the electronic price tag is reduced, and the service life of the electronic price tag is prolonged.
EXAMPLE III
Fig. 6 is a flow diagram illustrating an electronic price tag communication method according to another embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 6, the method 600 is applied to the base station side, and includes:
s610, receiving the updating data sent by the server and the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged.
As can be seen from fig. 1 and 2, when there is data to be updated, for example, the electronic price tag needs to change (update) the price, the server first sends the updated price information to the base station, then the base station sends the updated price information to the electronic price tag in a wireless manner, and finally the electronic price tag displays the updated price information. Therefore, the base station needs to receive the update data sent by the server and the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged, wherein the update data is new data received by the electronic price tag from the base station and is used for replacing the current data of the electronic price tag, and the identity of the electronic price tag can be an electronic price tag serial number, an electronic price tag ID or an electronic price tag MAC address.
S620, sending a paging message to the electronic price tag, wherein the paging message comprises a short address which corresponds to the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged one by one; the electronic price tag periodically sleeps and autonomously wakes up.
Therefore, the base station needs to send a paging message to the electronic price tag, where the paging message includes a short address of the electronic price tag to be paged, and the short address is used for the subsequent electronic price tag to determine whether to establish a communication connection with the base station. It should be noted that the base station establishes and maintains a mapping table, which is a mapping relationship between the identity of the electronic price tag and the short address, i.e. a one-to-one correspondence relationship between the identity of the electronic price tag and the short address. The identity of the electronic price tag is usually very long, and the short address is relatively short, so the short address is generally filled in the paging message, so that more short addresses of the electronic price tag can be filled in the paging message, namely more electronic price tags can be paged at one time.
In another case, although the base station transmits the paging message to the electronic price tag, there are cases where the electronic price tag is dormant or otherwise, the base station does not get a communication connection request of the electronic price tag, and at this time, the base station needs to continue transmitting the paging message to the electronic price tag. After the electronic price tag is autonomously awakened, the electronic price tag can establish communication connection with the base station at the first time because the base station continuously sends paging messages.
S630, establishing communication connection with the electronic price tags corresponding to the short addresses.
In this embodiment, if the short address in the paging message is consistent with the short address of the electronic price tag itself, indicating that the electronic price tag is registered in the base station and can establish a communication connection with the base station, the electronic price tag establishes a communication connection with the base station. The underlying communication technology adopted in this embodiment is not specifically limited, and may be bluetooth (including low power consumption bluetooth), zigBee (based on ieee802.15.4 standard low power consumption local area network protocol), a private protocol, or the like, and the frequency band used for communication is not specifically limited, and may be an unlicensed free frequency band (such as 2.4GHz ISM frequency band), or a commercial licensed frequency band.
And S640, sending updating data to the electronic price tag.
And the base station sends updating data to the electronic price tag so that the electronic price tag can update the data in time. For example, the base station transmits data such as the price of the article, a sales promotion mark, various monetary prices, and the stock amount to the electronic price tag. The update data may be a command for flashing a light, sounding, vibrating, or the like on the electronic price tag, or may be an upgrade package of the internal firmware of the electronic price tag.
In an optimized implementation manner, after the updating data is sent to the electronic price tag, if the updating data is successfully sent, the communication connection between the electronic price tag and the electronic price tag is disconnected, so that the waste of communication resources between the electronic price tag and the base station is reduced, and the energy consumption of the electronic price tag is saved.
According to the electronic price tag communication method, the base station receives the update data sent by the server and the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged, then sends the paging message to the electronic price tag, the paging message comprises the short addresses corresponding to the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged one by one, then establishes communication connection with the electronic price tag corresponding to the short addresses, and finally sends the update data to the electronic price tag. Therefore, after the electronic price tag is awakened autonomously, once the paging message of the base station is received, the communication connection with the base station is established in time and the updating data is received, the communication connection with the base station is not needed to be established and the data is not needed to be updated after the awakening message of the base station is received, and the response speed of the updating data of the electronic price tag is improved.
Example four
Fig. 7 is a flowchart illustrating an electronic price tag communication method according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the electronic price tag needs to be registered before receiving the update data, and the electronic price tag communication method includes an electronic price tag registration method. As shown in fig. 7, method 700 is applied to the electronic price tag side, comprising:
s710, periodically transmitting the registration broadcast information on the broadcast channel.
In a traditional electronic price tag networking mode, when an electronic price tag is networked (namely, the electronic price tag is associated and registered with a certain base station), the electronic price tag sends networking broadcast messages on a plurality of broadcast channels at a time interval of 1.25 milliseconds.
In this embodiment, the original electronic price tag registration method is changed, the base station periodically transmits registration broadcast information on the broadcast channel, and the electronic price tag receives the registration broadcast information. After the electronic price tag is automatically awakened, the registration broadcast information sent by the base station is searched on the broadcast channel, and because the power consumption generated when the broadcast information is sent is larger than that generated when the broadcast information is intercepted, the power consumption of the electronic price tag is further reduced.
In one possible implementation, periodically transmitting the registration broadcast information on the broadcast channel includes transmitting the registration broadcast information on a plurality of broadcast channels separately or simultaneously. And a channel for transmitting registration broadcast information by the base station is added, so that matching or registration of the electronic price tags is facilitated.
And S720, receiving the registration information of the electronic price tag.
When the electronic price tag searches the registration broadcast information of the base station, the electronic price tag needs to establish communication connection with the base station, and then sends registration information such as an electronic price tag serial number, an electronic price tag ID, an electronic price tag type, an electronic price tag model number, a current firmware version of the electronic price tag, an electronic price tag electric quantity, a signal intensity and the like to the base station. And the base station receives the registration information of the electronic price tag and registers the electronic price tag.
And S730, registering the electronic price tag corresponding to the registration information, and allocating the electronic price tag short address to the electronic price tag short address, wherein the electronic price tag short address corresponds to the electronic price tag identity identification one by one.
In this embodiment, if the base station allows the electronic price tag to be registered, the registration is granted to the electronic price tag corresponding to the registration information, and the electronic price tag is allocated to a corresponding short address, where the short address of the electronic price tag corresponds to the identity of the electronic price tag one to one. After the subsequent electronic price tag is awakened autonomously according to the dormancy mechanism of the subsequent electronic price tag, communication connection can be carried out according to the short address and the base station information acquired during registration, and preparation is made for subsequent data updating.
And S740, sending the short address and the base station information distributed for the electronic price tag to the electronic price tag.
And after registering the electronic price tag, the base station sends the short address allocated to the electronic price tag and the base station information to the electronic price tag. And the electronic price tag receives the short address and the base station information, and if the electronic price tag is awakened autonomously according to a dormancy mechanism of the electronic price tag, the electronic price tag can carry out communication connection according to the short address and the base station information acquired during registration.
S610, receiving the updating data sent by the server and the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
S620, sending a paging message to the electronic price tag, wherein the paging message comprises a short address which is in one-to-one correspondence with the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged; the electronic price tag is periodically dormant and autonomously awakened. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
S630, establishing communication connection with the electronic price tags corresponding to the short addresses. The detailed description of the steps is given above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
And S640, sending updating data to the electronic price tag. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
Meanwhile, the base station periodically sends registration broadcast information on the broadcast channel, and the electronic price tag starts a registration process by receiving the registration broadcast information sent by the base station, so that the battery energy consumption of the electronic price tag is reduced, and the service life of the electronic price tag is prolonged.
EXAMPLE five
Fig. 8 is a flowchart illustrating an electronic price tag communication method according to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 8, method 800 includes:
s710, periodically transmitting the registration broadcast information on the broadcast channel. The detailed description of the steps is given above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
And S720, receiving the registration information of the electronic price tag. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
And S730, registering the electronic price tag corresponding to the registration information, and allocating the electronic price tag short address to the electronic price tag short address, wherein the electronic price tag short address corresponds to the electronic price tag identity identification one by one. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
And S740, sending the short address and the base station information distributed to the electronic price tag. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
S610, receiving the updating data sent by the server and the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged. The detailed description of the steps is already described above, and is not repeated herein to avoid repetition.
S620, sending a paging message to the electronic price tag, wherein the paging message comprises a short address which is in one-to-one correspondence with the identity of the electronic price tag to be paged; the electronic price tag periodically sleeps and autonomously wakes up.
And S810, sending the registration information of the electronic price tag to the server.
In this embodiment, after the electronic price tag sends the registration information to the base station, if the registration information meets the registration requirement, the base station grants the electronic price tag for registration. To further ensure the security between communications, a further check may be made as to whether the electronic price tag registration information is legitimate. Illustratively, as shown in fig. 3, the base station sends the registration information of the electronic price tag to a server in the electronic price tag networking system, and the server performs further verification. If the registration information of the electronic price tag is verified to be legal, the server records the registration information and changes the state of the corresponding electronic price tag.
As shown in fig. 3, if the registration information of the electronic price tag is illegal, the server transmits the result of verification (verification information) to the base station, and the base station receives the verification information of the illegal registration information of the electronic price tag transmitted by the server and then recovers the short address of the electronic price tag.
In an optimized implementation mode, after the short address of the electronic price tag is recovered, the base station pages the electronic price tag and sends verification information that the registration is unsuccessful to the electronic price tag. Although the base station cannot establish communication connection with the base station even if the base station receives the paging message after recovering the short address of the electronic price tag, the electronic price tag generates unnecessary communication connection attempt. In order to save the communication effectiveness of the electronic price tag, the base station needs to page the electronic price tag in time, and after the electronic price tag is paged, verification information that the registration is unsuccessful is sent to the electronic price tag. And after the electronic price tag receives the verification information that the registration is unsuccessful, the electronic price tag restores the factory leaving mode in time, and the subsequent registration process of the electronic price tag is facilitated.
In addition, the validity of the electronic price tag registration information is further verified, and the safety of communication between electronic price tag systems is improved.

And after the electronic price tag is successfully registered, receiving the short address and the base station information sent by the base station, wherein the short address of the electronic price tag corresponds to the identity of the electronic price tag one to one.
In a possible implementation manner, after the registration of the electronic price tag is unsuccessful, verification information sent by the base station that the registration is unsuccessful is received, and the electronic price tag is restored to the factory mode.
According to the electronic price tag communication device, after the electronic price tag is automatically awakened, the electronic price tag timely receives the paging message sent by the base station, whether the short address in the paging message is consistent with the short address of the electronic price tag is judged, if so, a communication connection request is sent to the base station, and finally, the updating data sent by the base station is received. Therefore, after the electronic price tag is awakened autonomously, once the paging message of the base station is received, the electronic price tag is in communication connection with the base station in time and receives the updating data, and the electronic price tag does not need to be in communication connection with the base station and update the data after the awakening message of the base station is received, so that the response speed of the updating data of the electronic price tag is improved.
