It should be noted that, in the case of no conflict, the embodiments and features in the embodiments of the present disclosure may be combined with each other.
In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present disclosure, but the present disclosure may be practiced otherwise than as described herein; it is to be understood that the embodiments disclosed in the specification are only a few embodiments of the present disclosure, and not all embodiments.
Illustratively, the present disclosure provides a method, an apparatus, a device, a computer storage medium, and a computer program product for displaying messages in a virtual live broadcast room, which, for a virtual live broadcast room with high popularity, perform type differentiation on different messages from the value of a user, display multiple messages of one type in a public screen of the virtual live broadcast room in a rolling manner, give more exposure opportunities to high-value messages, display one message of another type in a rolling manner in a public screen of the virtual live broadcast room, reduce exposure opportunities to low-value messages, and thereby effectively ensure viewing experience and comment interaction experience of the user.
The message display method of the virtual live broadcast room is executed by electronic equipment or a live broadcast Application (APP), a webpage and a public number in the electronic equipment. The electronic device may be a tablet computer, a mobile phone, a wearable device, an in-vehicle device, an Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) device, a notebook computer, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a netbook, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a smart television, a smart screen, a high definition television, a 4K television, a smart speaker, a smart projector, and the like, and the specific type of the electronic device is not limited in this disclosure.
First, some terms in the disclosure are explained below to facilitate understanding by those skilled in the art.
1. The hot virtual live broadcast room, referred to as a hot virtual live broadcast room, may be defined as the total number of messages received in a unit time (e.g., 1 second) in a public screen exceeding a preset number (e.g., 10). At this time, the hot state of the high-heat virtual live broadcast room is a high-heat state.
In addition, the virtual live rooms other than the high-heat virtual live room are simply referred to as normal virtual live rooms. At this time, the hot state of the common virtual live broadcast room is a common state.
And the common virtual live broadcasting room and the high-heat virtual live broadcasting room can be converted with each other. After the heat state of the common virtual live broadcast room is changed into the high heat state, the common virtual live broadcast room becomes the high heat virtual live broadcast room. After the heat state of the high-heat virtual live broadcast room is changed into a common state, the high-heat virtual live broadcast room becomes a common virtual live broadcast room.
2. A public screen (referred to simply as a public screen) is an area for presenting various types of messages in a virtual live room. The public screen is different from the live broadcast area, and the live broadcast area is an area for displaying live broadcast pictures in the virtual live broadcast room. In addition, the virtual live room may include, in addition to the public screen and the live zone: and the animation area is used for displaying an approach animation special effect when the user enters the virtual live broadcast room, a gift sending animation special effect when the user enters the virtual live broadcast room and the like in the virtual live broadcast room.
3. The types of messages presented in the public screen may include, but are not limited to: comment information input by a user in the virtual live broadcast room, gift sending notification information of the user in the virtual live broadcast room, praise notification information of the user in the virtual live broadcast room, attention notification information of the user concerning a live broadcast account corresponding to the virtual live broadcast room, sharing notification information of the user sharing the virtual live broadcast room, and approach notification information of the user entering the virtual live broadcast room
4. The different types of messages may be divided by priority in this disclosure. In some embodiments, the priority of the message may include: high, medium and low. Messages in the higher level may include: and (4) commenting the message. The messages in the middle tier may include: a gift notification message, a like notification message, an attention notification message, and a share notification message. Messages in the lower level may include: an approach notification message.
Additionally, the messages of the present disclosure may be divided into high priority messages and low priority messages. The high priority messages referred to in this disclosure refer to messages in the high level, and the low priority refers to messages in the medium and low levels.
5. The message display mode can comprise a plurality of modes:
a. and (4) normally displaying: i.e. each message is normally presented in the public screen and scrolls upwards.
b. Folding and displaying: the bottom of the public screen only occupies the position of one message, so that the messages are folded to be displayed in turn, and the messages are prevented from being displayed in the public screen in a fast rolling manner. Generally, messages in the middle and lower levels can be collapsed for presentation.
c. Elimination and non-display: i.e. directly discard the message, not shown in the public screen. Typically, messages in the lower level may be eliminated from presentation. Messages in the middle level may be eliminated from presentation when there are no messages in the lower level.
6. Message queue: i.e., a "first-in-first-out" message structure, messages are typically enqueued from the end of the queue and dequeued from the head of the queue. The message queue in the present disclosure may include: a default message queue and a collapsed message queue. All types of messages are stored in the default message queue. The folding message queue stores folding display and eliminating non-display messages.
It should be noted that the default message queue and the collapsed message queue may be stored in the electronic device or a live APP, a web page, a public number in the electronic device, or may be stored in a server, which is not limited in this disclosure.
Based on the foregoing description, the embodiment of the present disclosure will use a live APP in an electronic device as an example, and details a message display method of a virtual live broadcast room provided by the present disclosure with reference to the accompanying drawings and application scenarios.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic flowchart illustrating a message display method of a virtual live broadcast room according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the message display method of the virtual live broadcast room provided by the present disclosure may include:
s101, determining the hot state of the virtual live broadcast room.
In the live broadcast process of a live broadcast APP in a virtual live broadcast room, the hot state of the virtual live broadcast room can be determined in real time or periodically or irregularly, and a message display strategy in a public screen of the virtual live broadcast room is determined and selected.
The specific implementation mode of determining the hot state of the live APP is not limited by the disclosure.
In some embodiments, the live APP may determine the hotness status based on a total number of messages in the public screen received from the server within a second preset duration. The specific size of the second preset time period may be set according to an actual situation, such as 1 second.
When the total number of the messages in the public screen is larger than or equal to a preset number, the live APP can determine that the virtual live broadcasting room is a high-heat virtual live broadcasting room, and the heat state of the virtual live broadcasting room is a first state (namely a high-heat state).
When the total number of the messages in the public screen is smaller than the preset number, the live broadcast APP can determine that the virtual live broadcast room is a common virtual live broadcast room, and the hot state of the virtual live broadcast room is a second state (namely, a common state).
The specific size of the preset number can be set according to actual conditions, such as 10.
S102, when the hot state is the first state, a plurality of messages belonging to the first type are displayed in a rolling mode in a first area of a public screen of the virtual live broadcast room, and a message belonging to the second type is displayed in a rolling mode in a second area of the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room.
After the live APP determines that the hot state of the virtual live broadcasting room is the first state, the live broadcasting APP can determine that the virtual live broadcasting room becomes a high-hot live broadcasting room. At this time, the live broadcast APP needs to perform regional display on the messages in the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room.
In one aspect, a live APP divides a common screen of the virtual live room into a first region and a second region. Wherein the first region and the second region may not overlap or partially overlap.
When the first area and the second area are not overlapped, the first area and the second area are separated, for example, the sum of the areas of the first area and the second area is a common screen of the virtual live broadcast room. When the first area and the second area are partially overlapped, the first area and the second area are not separated, for example, the first area can be a common screen of the virtual live broadcast room, and the second area is a partial area of the common screen of the virtual live broadcast room.
Wherein the second zone may be disposed at a bottom of a common screen of the virtual live room.
In another aspect. The live APP may configure the messages in the first region to be of a first type and the messages in the second region to be of a second type. Wherein the first type is different from the second type.
In some embodiments, the first type may include: and (5) commenting the message. The second type may include: a gift notification message, a praise notification message, an attention notification message, a share notification message, and an approach notification message.
In addition, when the different types are classified by priority, the present disclosure may set the priority of the first type to be higher than the priority of the second type so as to display more high-priority messages. Also, messages belonging to the first type may include one or more priorities and messages belonging to the second type may include one or more priorities.
In some embodiments, a first region may be used to present high priority messages and a second region may be used to present low priority messages, and thus the area of the first region may be greater than the area of the second region in order to give the high priority messages more presentation opportunities.
In summary, the live APP can scroll through multiple messages belonging to the first type in the first area of the public screen, which is beneficial to giving more display opportunities to high-priority messages, and scroll through one message belonging to the second type in the second area of the public screen, which is beneficial to reducing the display opportunities of priority messages.
The message display method of the virtual live broadcast room provided by the disclosure determines the hot state of the virtual live broadcast room. And when the hot state is the first state, a plurality of messages belonging to the first type are displayed in a first area of the public screen of the virtual live broadcast in a rolling mode, and a message belonging to the second type is displayed in a second area of the public screen of the virtual live broadcast in a rolling mode. Wherein the first area and the second area do not overlap or partially overlap, and the first type is different from the second type. Therefore, different types of messages can be displayed in different areas of the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room, so that effective information can be quickly extracted by a user in the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room, the phenomenon that a screen is swiped too fast due to too large message amount in the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room is avoided, and real-time interactive experience when the user watches live webcasts is effectively improved.
In step S102 of the embodiment of fig. 1, the live APP may scroll through a plurality of messages belonging to a first type in a first area of the public screen in a plurality of ways.
Next, with reference to fig. 2, a practical implementation manner of the live APP to scroll and display a plurality of messages belonging to a first type in a first area of a public screen of a virtual live broadcast room is specifically described.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart illustrating a message display method of a virtual live broadcast room according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, a message display method of a virtual live broadcast room provided by the present disclosure may include:
s201, obtaining a first message belonging to a first type from a default message queue, wherein all types of messages received from a server are stored in the default message queue.
All types of messages received by the live APP from the server are stored in the default message queue, that is, the default message queue includes messages of various types. Therefore, the live APP can select a message of the first type from the default message queue to obtain a first message of the first type.
The first message may be one or more messages, and is specifically determined based on the scroll frequency or the display duration of the messages in the first area.
It should be noted that the default message queue may be stored in the live APP, the electronic device, or the server, which is not limited in this disclosure. In addition, the messages in the default message queue are first-in-first-out, i.e., the live APP generally obtains the messages from the head of the default message queue.
S202, displaying the messages at the top of the first area in a disappearing mode, displaying the messages in the middle of the first area in an upward rolling mode, and displaying the first messages at the bottom of the first area so that the messages in the first area are displayed in a rolling mode.
After the live broadcast APP obtains the first message, the message displayed in the first area at present can be refreshed. The live APP may scroll up the messages currently presented in the first region such that messages at the top of the first region disappear from display and messages in the middle of the first region continue to be displayed, leaving the bottom of the first region to display the first message.
In the first region, the display area of the message to be displayed in the disappearing state is substantially the same as the display area of the first message. In addition, the present disclosure is not limited to scrolling the messages displayed in the first area in other ways than scrolling up.
In summary, the live APP may scroll through the messages that are shown in the first region.
In step S102 of the embodiment of fig. 1, the live APP may scroll through a message of the second type in the second area of the public screen in a variety of ways.
A possible implementation manner of the live APP to scroll through a message of the second type in the second area of the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room is described below with reference to fig. 3.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart illustrating a message display method of a virtual live broadcast room according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 3, the message display method of the virtual live broadcast room provided by the present disclosure may include:
s301, acquiring a new message from the folding message queue.
Because the second type of message is stored in the folded message queue, that is, the second type of message is included in the folded message queue. Thus, the live APP can retrieve a new message from the collapsed message queue.
It should be noted that the collapsed message queue may be stored in the live APP, the electronic device, or the server, which is not limited in this disclosure. In addition, the messages in the folded message queue are first-in first-out, that is, the live APP generally obtains the messages from the head of the folded message queue.
S302, whether the display duration of one message currently displayed in the second area exceeds a first preset duration is judged.
The specific size of the first preset time period may be set according to an actual situation, such as 0.5 second.
When the display duration of a message currently displayed in the second region exceeds a first preset duration, the live broadcast APP can execute step S3031; and when the display duration of one message currently displayed in the second region does not exceed the first preset duration, the live broadcast APP may execute step S3032.
S3031, a message currently displayed in the second region is displayed in a disappearing manner, and a new message is displayed in the second region, so that the message in the second region is displayed in a scrolling manner.
The display duration of a message currently displayed in the second area by the live broadcast APP exceeds a first preset duration, and the message currently displayed in the second area can be refreshed. The live APP may scroll up a message currently presented in the second region such that a message currently presented in the second region disappears from display, leaving the second region to display a new message.
It should be noted that, in addition to scrolling up the display, the present disclosure is not limited to scrolling a message displayed in the second area in other ways.
In summary, the live APP may scroll through the messages that are presented in the second region.
S3032, discarding a new message.
The display duration of a message currently displayed in the second area by the live broadcast APP does not exceed the first preset duration, a new message can be discarded, the message in the second area is prevented from being refreshed too fast, and the fact that the low-priority message cannot change too fast in the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room is ensured.
Based on the above description, when the collapsed message queue is stored in the live APP, the live APP may receive a message belonging to the second type from the server and store the message in the collapsed message queue.
In the present disclosure, the virtual live room may be divided into a game virtual live room and a video virtual live room. The game virtual live broadcast room is a virtual live broadcast room relevant to the game, such as explaining a game playing method or live broadcast game process. The video virtual live broadcast room is other virtual live broadcast rooms except the game virtual live broadcast room, such as a shopping virtual live broadcast room, a chat virtual live broadcast room, a voice virtual live broadcast room, a music virtual live broadcast room and the like.
Since low priority messages in the gaming virtual live room are not important compared to the video virtual live room. Therefore, after receiving a message belonging to the second type in the video virtual live broadcast room, the live broadcast APP can directly store the message in the folding message queue. After receiving a message belonging to the second type in the virtual live broadcast room of the video, the live broadcast APP needs to determine whether the total number of messages stored in the folded message queue is smaller than a preset threshold.
Thus, the live APP may store a message in the collapsed message queue when the total number of messages stored in the collapsed message queue is less than a preset threshold.
When the total number of the messages stored in the folded message queue is greater than or equal to a preset threshold value, the live broadcast APP can discard the messages stored in the folded message queue to store a newly acquired message. In this way, the live APP can determine whether the priority of the messages stored in the collapsed message queue is different.
Thus, when the priority of the messages stored in the collapsed message queue is different, the live APP may drop the lowest priority and earliest time piece of the messages stored in the collapsed message queue and store the piece of the messages in the collapsed message queue.
When the priority of the messages stored in the collapsed message queue is the same, the live APP may discard the oldest message stored in the collapsed message queue and store the message in the collapsed message queue.
Next, with reference to fig. 4, an implementation of the default message queue and the collapsed message queue is described.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating a message display method of a virtual live broadcast room according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
1. Enqueuing procedures for default message queue and collapsed message queue
As shown in fig. 4, the default message queue includes 8 messages, and sequentially includes, according to the time sequence of enqueuing: message 1, message 2, message 3, message 4, message 5, message 6, message 7, and message 8.
Wherein the messages in the higher level include: message 1 and message 5. The messages in the middle tier include: message 2, message 4, message 6, message 7, and message 8. Messages in the lower level include: message 3.
It can be seen that the default message queue includes various types of messages (e.g., messages in high-low, medium-level, and low-level), corresponding to the default message queue in fig. 2.
As shown in fig. 4, the folding message queue includes 4 messages, and sequentially includes, according to the time sequence of enqueue: message 2, message 3, message 4, and message 6.
Wherein the messages in the middle level include: message 2, message 4, and message 6. Messages in the lower level include: message 3. And message 1 and message 5 are not enqueued in the collapsed message queue.
It can be seen that the collapsed message queue includes messages belonging to the second type (e.g., messages in the middle and lower levels), corresponding to the collapsed message queue in fig. 3.
2. Priority elimination process for messages in a collapsed message queue
As shown in fig. 4, when a message 7 needs to be enqueued in the collapsed message queue, assuming that the preset threshold is set to 4, which are respectively a message 2, a message 3, a message 4 and a message 6, since the total number of messages stored in the collapsed message queue is 4, and the messages stored in the collapsed message queue include a message 3 in a lower level, the message 3 can be discarded, so that the message 7 is enqueued in the collapsed message queue, which corresponds to the aforementioned discarding of the message with the lowest priority and the earliest time stored in the collapsed message queue.
3. Chronological culling of messages in a collapsed message queue
As shown in fig. 4, when a message 8 needs to be enqueued in the folded message queue, assuming that the preset threshold is set to 4, which are respectively a message 2, a message 4, a message 6 and a message 7, since the total number of messages stored in the folded message queue is 4 and there are no messages in the lower level in the messages stored in the folded message queue, the message 2 with the earliest time may be sequentially discarded, so that the message 8 is enqueued in the folded message queue, which corresponds to the aforementioned discarding of the message stored in the folded message queue with the earliest time.
4. Message display
As shown in fig. 4, message 1 and message 5 are normally displayed in a first region of a public screen after waiting for the live APP to be acquired, message 2 and message 3 may be eliminated from being displayed, message 4 may be displayed in a second region of the public screen after waiting for the live APP to be acquired, and message 5, message 6, message 7, and message 8 may be displayed in a folded manner after waiting for the live APP to be acquired for a first preset duration and then displayed in a folded manner in sequence.
In the present disclosure, the hot status of a virtual live broadcast room is random, and can be switched between a normal status and a high hot status. And the virtual live broadcast rooms in different hot states can have different message display strategies so as to adapt to the actual requirements in the hot state.
Next, with reference to fig. 5, a specific implementation process of switching the hot spot state of the virtual live broadcast room from the first state (i.e., a high hot state) to the second state (i.e., a normal state) is described in detail.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic flowchart illustrating a message display method of a virtual live broadcast room according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 5, the message display method of the virtual live broadcast room provided by the present disclosure may include:
s401, determining the hot state of the virtual live broadcast room.
S402, when the hot state is the first state, a plurality of messages belonging to the first type are displayed in a rolling mode in a first area of a public screen of the virtual live broadcast room, and a message belonging to the second type is displayed in a rolling mode in a second area of the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room.
Wherein the first region and the second region do not overlap or partially overlap, and the first type is different from the second type.
Steps S401 and S402 are similar to the implementation manners of S101 and S102 in the embodiment of fig. 1, and are not described herein again.
And S403, when the hot state is switched from the first state to the second state, scrolling and displaying a plurality of messages belonging to the first type and the second type in a public screen of the virtual live broadcast room.
Because live broadcast APP determines the hot state of the virtual live broadcast room in real time or periodically or irregularly in the live broadcast process of the virtual live broadcast room. Therefore, after the live APP determines that the hot state of the virtual live room is switched from the first state to the second state, the live APP determines that the virtual live room is changed from a high hot live room to a normal live room. Wherein the heat of the first state is greater than the heat of the second state.
At this time, the live broadcast APP does not need to continue to display the messages in the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room in the partitioned mode, and the messages of various types can be displayed in the public screen of the virtual live broadcast room.
In summary, because the message amount is too small, the live APP can scroll to display a plurality of messages (i.e. all types of messages) belonging to the first type and the second type in the common screen of the virtual live broadcast room, which is beneficial to completely display each type of message.
In some embodiments, all types of messages received by the live APP from the server are stored in the default message queue. Therefore, the live APP may obtain the second message from the default message queue in chronological order. The second message may include one or more messages, and is determined based on the scroll frequency or the display time length of the messages in the public screen.
Therefore, after the live broadcast APP obtains the second message, the message displayed in the public screen at present can be refreshed. The live APP may scroll up the message currently presented in the public screen so that the message at the top of the public screen disappears and the message in the middle of the public screen continues to be displayed so that the bottom of the public screen is left to display the second message.
Note that, in the common screen, the display area of the message which is displayed to disappear is substantially the same as the display area of the second message. In addition, the present disclosure is not limited to scrolling messages displayed in a common screen in other ways than scrolling up.
In summary, live APPs may scroll through messages that are presented in a common screen.
Based on the above description, with reference to fig. 6A to 6D, a detailed description is given of a specific implementation process of the live broadcast APP for displaying messages of various types in the common screen based on a hot status of a virtual live broadcast room.
Referring to fig. 6A to 6D, fig. 6A to 6D are schematic diagrams of human-computer interaction interfaces provided by embodiments of the disclosure. For convenience of description, in fig. 6A to 6D, an example is shown in which the electronic device is a mobile phone and the live APP installed in the mobile phone is a short-video social APP (application 1 for short).
After detecting that the hot status of one virtual live broadcast room is the first status, the application 1 may display a user interface 10 exemplarily shown in fig. 6A on the mobile phone, where the user interface 10 is used to display one virtual live broadcast room in which the hot status is the first status in the application 1.
Among other things, the user interface 10 may include: a status area 101, a live area 102, an animation area 103, a common screen 104, and a control area 105.

It can be seen that in fig. 6B, the messages in the first area 1041 are scrolled upwards and the first area 1041 still displays 9 comment messages, 1 message in the first area 1041 (illustrated in fig. 6A by showing "user 1 nickname: good card") disappears, the remaining 8 messages in the first area 1041 are scrolled upwards, and 1 new comment message (illustrated in fig. 6B by showing "user 10 nickname: good look") is displayed in the first area 1041. The previous approach notification message in the second region 1042 is replaced with 1 new approach notification message (illustrated in fig. 6B to show "user 11 nickname: right" by way of example).
Next, after the application 1 acquires a new message belonging to the second type, the application 1 may display a new message belonging to the second type exemplarily shown in fig. 6C on the second region 1042.
It can be seen that in fig. 6C, the first region 1041 still shows 9 comment messages, and the messages in the first region 1041 are not refreshed. The previous approach notification message in the second region 1042 is replaced with 1 new approach notification message (illustrated in fig. 6C to show "user 12 nickname: right" by way of example).
It should be noted that the present disclosure includes, but is not limited to, the implementation in the embodiment of fig. 6A-6C in which a plurality of messages belonging to a first type are scroll-displayed in a first area and a message belonging to a second type is scroll-displayed in a second area.
After detecting that the hot status of the virtual live broadcast room is switched from the first status to the second status, the application 1 may sequentially display a new message belonging to the second type and a new message belonging to the first type, which are exemplarily shown in fig. 6D, on the public screen 104 after the application 1 acquires a new message belonging to the second type and a new message belonging to the first type.
It can be seen that in fig. 6D, messages in the public screen 104 (referred to herein as the first area 1041) are scrolled upwards, the public screen 104 still shows 8 comment messages in the first area 1041, and 1 message in the first area 1041 (exemplified in fig. 6C by showing "user 2 nickname: thumbs up") disappears, the remaining 8 messages in the first area 1041 are scrolled upwards, and 1 new approach notification message (exemplified in fig. 6D by showing "user 13 nickname: left") and 1 new comment message (exemplified in fig. 6D by showing "user 14 nickname: atmosphere") are sequentially displayed in the public screen 104.
