Abstract

The invention provides an automobile tail plate assembly and an assembling method thereof, wherein the assembling method comprises the following steps: a tailgate assembly including a tailgate panel movably switchable between a closed state and an open state, and an actuation assembly movable to the tailgate panel; and a control device configured to identify a start of a valid loading condition when the tailgate panel is driven from the loading node position toward the open state; the actuation assembly is electrically coupled to the control device and is responsive to commands from the control device, wherein the tailgate panel is movable to a loading node position located proximate to the open state, the control device is configured to detect manual movement of the tailgate panel from the loading node position to an initial raised position, and the control device is configured to command the actuation assembly to move the tailgate panel to the closed state when the tailgate panel is manually moved from the loading node position to the initial raised position.

Technical Field

a tailgate assembly including a tailgate panel movable between a closed state and an open state, and an actuation assembly movable to the tailgate panel;
and a control device configured to identify a start of a valid loading condition when the tailgate panel is driven from the loading node position toward the open state;
the actuation assembly being electrically coupled to and responsive to commands from the control device, wherein the tailgate panel is movable to a loading node position proximate the open condition,
the control device is configured to detect manual movement of the tailgate panel from the loading node position to an initial raised position, and the control device is configured to command an actuation assembly to move the tailgate panel to the closed state when the tailgate panel is manually moved from the loading node position to the initial raised position.
As a further development of the invention, the control device is able to detect whether the current level of the actuating assembly is above a threshold value.
As a further development of the invention, a sensor is also included, which is capable of generating a signal indicating the position of the tailgate panel, and the control device is capable of receiving and interpreting the signal from the sensor in order to determine the position of the tailgate panel.

the actuation assembly being electrically coupled to the control device and responsive to commands from the control device, wherein the tailgate panel is movable to a loading node position proximate the open condition,
the control device is configured to detect manual movement of the tailgate panel from the loading node position to an initial raised position, and the control device is configured to command an actuation assembly to move the tailgate panel to the closed state when the tailgate panel is manually moved from the loading node position to the initial raised position.
2. The vehicle tailgate assembly, according to claim 1, wherein said control means is capable of detecting whether a current level of said actuating assembly is above a threshold.
3. The vehicle tailgate assembly according to claim 1, further comprising a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of a position of the tailgate panel, wherein the control device is configured to receive and interpret the signal from the sensor to determine the position of the tailgate panel.
4. The automobile tailgate assembly, according to claim 3, wherein the control device is configured to command the actuation assembly to move the tailgate panel to the closed state while receiving a vehicle operation command.
5. The motor vehicle tailgate assembly according to claim 1, wherein the tailgate panel rotates relative to the cargo box about a hinge adjacent the bottom of the tailgate panel.
6. The vehicle tailgate assembly according to claim 3, wherein the sensor is an ultrasonic sensor.
7. The method for assembling the automobile tailgate assembly, according to claim 1, comprising:
s1, when the tail board panel moves from the loading node position to the opening state, effective loading conditions begin to be detected;
s2, attempting to move the tail board panel to the loading node position within a period of time after the effective loading condition starts, and determining whether the current level of the actuating assembly is higher than a threshold value when attempting to move the tail board panel to the loading node position;
s3, when a condition indicating that the vehicle operation is imminent occurs or after the tailgate panel is kept at the loading node position for a period of time, the actuating assembly moves the tailgate panel to a closed state.
