Description

Method, system and related equipment for preventing HDMI equipment from being awakened accidentally
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of videos, and particularly relates to a method and a system for preventing an HDMI device from being accidentally awakened and a related device.
Background
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an existing common Interface protocol for transmitting digital video/audio data, and is widely used in digital tv set-top boxes, DVD players, personal computers, and other devices. Generally, a set of video system realized through an HDMI interface includes an HDMI output terminal and an HDMI receiving terminal, where the output terminal outputs video and audio signals to the receiving terminal through the HDMI interface on each terminal, and the receiving terminal plays or displays the video and audio signals, and when the output terminal stops sending signals, the receiving terminal has no content that can be played or displayed, and can automatically enter into a sleep mode, so as to achieve the technical effect of saving power.
In the prior art, in order to connect more output devices and facilitate user use, a plurality of HDMI interfaces are usually integrated on an HDMI receiving end, and when the HDMI receiving end is connected to a plurality of output devices at the same time, a receiving end can only select a signal output by one of the output terminals to play or display, such a receiving end has an auto source (automatic signal source) mechanism, which causes the receiving end to poll all HDMI interfaces by triggering an HPD signal when the receiving end enters a sleep state without playing or displaying the signal, so as to check whether an available HDMI input signal exists, the HPD signal is a signal used for identifying an interface hot plug in an HDMI protocol, and if an actively sleeping output device receives the HPD signal, the sleeping state at this time is stopped, thereby causing false wake-up.
A commonly used method for preventing the false wake-up of the output terminal is to ignore that the output terminal receives the HPD signal after the active sleep, but after the setting, the sleep needs to be terminated by other wake-up manners, such as wake-up of a key. In such a manner, the situation that the HDMI output end cannot distinguish the situation at this time is hot plug of the HDMI interface or auto source mechanism of the receiving end, which is not very suitable for convenient use requirements of modern video equipment.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention is described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic flowchart illustrating steps of a method for preventing an HDMI device from being accidentally woken up according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method is applied to an HDMI output terminal, the HDMI output terminal is connected to an HDMI sink through an HDMI interface, in a typical application scenario, the HDMI output terminal is a video source output device, and the HDMI sink is a display device, for convenience of description, in the embodiment of the present invention, a projector is taken as an example of the HDMI output terminal, and a display with an auto source mechanism is taken as an example of the HDMI sink, so that the method includes the following steps:
s1, enabling the HDMI output end to enter a dormant state.
In the embodiment of the invention, the mode of enabling the HDMI output end to enter the dormancy is divided into an active dormancy mode and a human passive dormancy mode, and the active dormancy mode and the human passive dormancy mode are realized by turning off a power supply of the HDMI output end or removing a video data source, which corresponds to the passive dormancy mode; when the passive dormancy is triggered, one of the HDMI interfaces between the two is disconnected, so that the HDMI signals cannot be transmitted normally, and the projector is dormant.
S2, monitoring the HPD low signal received by the HDMI, and reading the EDID information of the HDMI receiving end.
In the HDMI protocol, the HPD signal is used to identify hot plug of an interface, and is divided into an HPD low signal and an HPD high signal according to different voltage values, and there are two ways of generating the HPD low signal: when the HDMI interface in the connection state is disconnected, the physical connection for transmitting the HDMI signal is cut off, and the voltage is reduced, so that the HDMI low signal is generated; in another mode, the HDMI sink in the embodiment of the present invention is a display, and the display integrates a plurality of HDMI interfaces, and after the HDMI output enters the sleep mode, the HDMI sink sends the HPD low signal through the plurality of HDMI interfaces according to an auto source mechanism, regardless of whether the HDMI sink is actively or passively sleeping.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the HPD low signal is monitored, the EDID information of the HDMI receiving terminal is read through the HDMI output terminal, where the EDID information is information including display parameters of the HDMI receiving terminal, and in a typical HDMI transmission process, the projector serving as the output terminal first reads the EDID information of the display, and then adjusts parameters, such as resolution, color, and the like, of the video signal output by the projector according to the parameters in the EDID information, and the EDID information must be implemented through physical connection of the HDMI, that is, in the embodiment of the present invention, according to a difference in sleep mode of the HDMI output terminal, a situation of whether the EDID information can be read is different.
And S3, assigning the preset mark information according to the EDID information.
The preset mark information is used for the HDMI output end to judge whether the HDMI output end is connected to receiving end equipment through an HDMI interface at the moment. Specifically, the step of assigning the preset flag information according to the EDID information specifically includes:
if the EDID information of the HDMI receiving end is successfully read, assigning the preset mark information to be 1;
and if the EDID information of the HDMI receiving end is not successfully read, assigning the preset mark information to be 0.
S4, monitoring the HPD high signal received by the HDMI, and reading the preset mark information.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the modes for generating the HPD high signal are also divided into two types corresponding to the mode for generating the HPD low signal: when the HDMI interface in a disconnected state is connected, a transmission channel for transmitting an HDMI signal is opened, and at this time, a voltage rises, thereby generating the HDMI high signal; in another mode, according to the auto source mechanism, the display at the HDMI sink automatically sends the HPD high signals at the HDMI interfaces within a short time after sending the HPD low signals through the HDMI interfaces, so as to simulate the plugging and unplugging actions of the HDMI interfaces, thereby waking up the input device in the sleep state.
And S5, enabling the HDMI output end to keep dormant or awaken according to the preset mark information.
In the embodiment of the present invention, in order to prevent the HDMI output from being accidentally woken up, the preset flag information is set, where the accidental wake-up in the embodiment of the present invention means that the HDMI output is actively powered off and remains dormant, but is still in signal connection with the HDMI sink, and is not woken up by an auto source mechanism of the sink, but when the HDMI output is automatically dormant due to plugging and unplugging of an HDMI interface, the HDMI output can be automatically woken up when being reconnected to a sink. The step of enabling the HDMI output end to keep dormant or awaken according to the preset mark information is specifically;
if the value of the preset mark information is 1, enabling the HDMI output end to keep dormant;
and if the value of the preset mark information is 0, awakening the HDMI output end.
Specifically, when the value of the preset flag information is 1, it indicates that the HDMI output end always maintains the connection relationship of the data transmission channel with the HDMI receiving end, that is, the HDMI output end is actively dormant while maintaining the connection state, in this case, it should not respond to the wakeup operation from the auto source mechanism; and when the value of the preset mark information is 0, the HDMI connection between the HDMI output terminal and the HDMI receiving terminal is subjected to a quick plugging action, and such an action is closer to a scene in which the output terminal needs to be used quickly for image transmission, so that the HDMI output terminal needs to be awakened.
The method has the advantages that the method for marking the reason for generating the HPD low signal by the preset mark information can avoid the accidental awakening of the actively dormant HDMI equipment by an auto source mechanism, and can keep the characteristic that the HDMI equipment can still be automatically awakened when the HDMI interface is hot-plugged through the preset mark information, so that the operation experience of a user is improved.
