In current work scenarios, it is often necessary to circumscribe the PC with a separate display. The PC self display and the external display are used simultaneously, so that the convenience of the work of a user can be greatly improved.
At present, the audio output configuration of the independent display is uneven, when a user connects the notebook computer with the display, if the external display has no effective audio equipment, the default setting does not transmit audio data to the display for output, but outputs the audio data on the notebook computer side. However, the user may access the earphone device through the display interface during the process of using the external display, and the user cannot receive the audio data through the audio output device even though accessing the audio output device due to the default setting. At this time, the user needs to perform audio output configuration through complicated steps to enable normal output of the audio data at the audio output device of the display side.

In this scenario, when the user wants to adjust the position of the audio output, other effective audio devices are connected to the external display.

The third image data may be OSD (on-screen display), which may be specifically a customized image generated based on the connection information; for example, the connection information indicates connection information of the earphone, and the third image data may be image data including a prompt "earphone is being inserted". Alternatively, the third image data may also be a predefined standard image, i.e. it is determined that the predefined standard image is automatically output when the output device is in a certain scene; for example, when it is determined that the output device is in the hot plug phase, an image including the word "ongoing parameter configuration, please be later" is output on the display screen. The third image data is used for prompting the user to output the current work of the device, so that the feeling of boring waiting of the user before the output device restarts to output the image data sent by the electronic device can be reduced. In some implementations, related data of the expected wait time may also be included in the third image data to enable the user to determine the approximate wait time. For example, the third image data may further include a word of "predicted wait time 6 seconds" or a screen of output wait time countdown to provide a better use experience for the user. Wherein the expected wait time may be determined based on historical data.
It should be noted that the third image data is data that is generated by the output device and stored locally to the output device, and when the third image data needs to be displayed, the output device may be directly called from the local memory. In the above two examples, the power supply controller may be a PD controller (Power Delivery controller), which is a standard protocol processor specified by USB Type-C, and both the display device and the electronic device side must be equipped with the PD controller to operate normally.
The interface supporting bidirectional communication can include, but is not limited to, an USB Type-C interface, a lightning interface, etc., only the interface needs to be guaranteed to support bidirectional communication, but only the HDMI interface and the DP interface having unidirectional data transmission function are not suitable for the present scheme. In this way, in a corresponding implementation, the electronic device may send the first image data or the second image data to the output device through the interface supporting two-way communication, and the output device may also send the instruction information to the electronic device through the interface supporting two-way communication.
The transmission of the instruction information may be implemented based on a dedicated protocol that can be recognized by both the electronic device and the output device, for example, by VDM (Vendor Defined Message ) in the USB Type-C protocol.
The firmware system can be firmware of a display card, and can be positioned on the integrated display card, so that after the integrated display card receives the target information, the firmware directly decodes the target information to obtain instruction information, then the instruction information is sent to an operating system, the operating system calls a target application related to audio, and the configuration of related audio content in the target application is controlled to be completed.
In one specific implementation, a user inserts an earphone on an external display, the external display sends a message of inserting the earphone to a firmware system of the electronic device through a VDM, the firmware system sends the message to a sound card driving application, and a speaker target is selected as the external display, namely, the external display outputs audio data. Correspondingly, after the user pulls out the earphone from the external display, the external display sends a message of pulling out the earphone to a firmware system of the electronic device through the VDM, the firmware system sends the message to a sound card driving application, and a loudspeaker target is selected as the electronic device, namely, the electronic device carries out audio output.
It should be noted that, in the implementation of the processing method described in this embodiment, the display screen of the output device is always in an on state in the implementation process, and the first image data can be normally output before the audio mode is changed, and the second image data and the audio data are directly output by the output device after the audio mode is changed. Therefore, from the perspective of a user, the situation of 'interrupt' of output image data is avoided, and only the difference from the output of audio data from the electronic equipment to the output of audio data from the output equipment (earphone) is avoided, so that compared with the scheme of realizing audio mode switching through transmission EDID, the method has good user experience.

the first interface 10 is configured to connect to an electronic device, and is configured to transmit at least first attribute information and first image data, where the first attribute information includes display parameter information, and the first image data is determined by the electronic device at least according to the display parameter information.
And output means 20 for outputting the first image data.
A second interface 40 for connecting to an audio device.
And the processing device 30 is configured to detect connection information of the audio device, and if the connection information indicates that the second interface is connected to the audio device, transmit target information to the electronic device.
The target information is used for enabling the electronic equipment to switch from a first audio mode to a second audio mode, wherein the first audio mode is a mode in which audio data are not transmitted through the first interface, and the second audio mode is a mode in which audio data are transmitted through the first interface.
The type of the first interface 10 is not limited, and may be an interface supporting different types of protocols, and the transmission interface may be any one of a DP interface, an HDMI interface, a USB interface, and a lightning interface.
The processing device 30 may receive the first image data from the electronic apparatus through the first interface 10, and then control the output device 20 to output and display the first image data. After determining that the second interface 40 is connected to the audio device, the processing means 30 may transmit the target information to the electronic device via said first interface 10.
After the electronic device obtains the target information, the electronic device determines available audio devices at the output device side, so as to modify the configuration information of the audio mode. In the new audio mode, the electronic device transmits audio data to the output device, which outputs the audio data.
In this embodiment, in the process that the electronic device outputs the image data through the output device and outputs the audio data through the audio device of the electronic device, the output device can detect whether the electronic device is connected with the effective audio device in real time, and under the condition that the effective audio device exists, the switching of the audio output from the electronic device side to the output device side can be automatically controlled, so that the whole implementation process does not need user participation, and the electronic device is convenient and fast, thereby improving the use experience of the user.
In one implementation, the output device may further include: the first storage device is used for storing the first attribute information and the target information, the target information is second attribute information, at least part of the first attribute information and the second attribute information are the same, the first attribute information comprises information that the output equipment cannot transmit audio data, and the second attribute information comprises information that the output equipment can transmit audio data.
In one implementation, the output device may further include: second storage means for storing third image data; the processing device is also used for: and in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain second image data, obtaining the third image data, and controlling the output device to output the third image data.
The electronic device obtains the target information after obtaining the signal representing disconnection and re-physical connection, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and the second image data is image data determined by the electronic device based on the second attribute information.
The third image data may be a customized image generated based on the connection information, or may be a predefined standard image. The specific implementation of the third image data may be referred to the content description of the corresponding parts of the method embodiment, and the detailed description is not repeated here.
In one implementation, the output device may further include: third storage means for storing at least part of the first image data; the processing device is also used for: and in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain second image data, obtaining at least part of the data, and controlling the output device to output the at least part of the data.
The electronic device obtains the target information after obtaining the signal representing disconnection and re-physical connection, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and the second image data is image data determined by the electronic device based on the second attribute information.
It should be noted that, since at least part of the first image data is used for being displayed in the process of implementing hot plug between the output device and the electronic device, and the last frame of the first image data is usually displayed on the display screen in the process of implementing hot plug, in the implementation, at least part of the first image data needs to be updated regularly, so as to ensure that at least part of the first image data displayed on the display screen of the output device is the last displayed first image data in the process of implementing hot plug between the output device and the electronic device. The update period of the at least part of the data may be configured according to the requirement, for example, the update period may be 0.5 seconds.
Fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of another output device according to an embodiment of the present application, which can be understood by referring to fig. 6. It should be noted that, in practical application, the first storage device, the second storage device, and the third storage device may belong to different storage areas of one memory, or may belong to different memories, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
In the present specification, each embodiment is described in a progressive manner, and each embodiment is mainly described in a different point from other embodiments, and identical and similar parts between the embodiments are all enough to refer to each other. For the device disclosed in the embodiment, since it corresponds to the method disclosed in the embodiment, the description is relatively simple, and the relevant points refer to the description of the method section.
It is further noted that relational terms such as first and second, and the like are used solely to distinguish one entity or action from another entity or action without necessarily requiring or implying any actual such relationship or order between such entities or actions. The software modules may be disposed in Random Access Memory (RAM), memory, read Only Memory (ROM), electrically programmable ROM, electrically erasable programmable ROM, registers, hard disk, a removable disk, a CD-ROM, or any other form of storage medium known in the art.

Claims (10)

1. A processing method applied to an output device connectable with an electronic device, comprising:
transmitting first attribute information to the electronic equipment, wherein the first attribute information comprises display parameter information;
obtaining and outputting first image data sent by the electronic equipment in a first audio mode, wherein the first image data is determined by the electronic equipment at least according to the display parameter information, and the first audio mode is a mode in which audio data is not transmitted;
detecting connection information of an audio device in the process of outputting the first image data;
and if the connection information indicates that the audio device is connected, transmitting target information to the electronic device, wherein the target information is used for enabling the electronic device to switch from the first audio mode to a second audio mode, and the second audio mode is a mode for transmitting audio data.
2. The processing method according to claim 1, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and before the first attribute information is transmitted to the electronic device, the processing method includes: physically connecting an electronic device, wherein no connection to the physical connection enables the electronic device to obtain attribute information;
if the connection information indicates that the audio device is connected, transmitting target information to the electronic device, including: if the connection information indicates that the audio equipment is connected, sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment under the condition that the connection information is kept physically connected with the electronic equipment, so that the electronic equipment obtains the second attribute information after obtaining the signal representing disconnection and physical connection again;
the first attribute information comprises information that the output device cannot transmit audio data, and the second attribute information comprises information that the output device can transmit audio data.
3. The processing method according to claim 2, further comprising, after the electronic device obtains the second attribute information:
obtaining second image data determined by the electronic equipment based on the second attribute information;
and outputting and displaying third image data in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to acquire the second image data, wherein the third image data is data generated by the output equipment.
4. The processing method of claim 2, further comprising, prior to said sending a hot plug signal to the electronic device:
saving at least part of the first image data;
and outputting and displaying at least part of the data in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain second image data.
5. The processing method according to claim 1, the target information being used to configure a target application of the electronic device such that the configured target application instructs output of audio data to the output device;
wherein the target application is an application corresponding to the audio processor.
6. The processing method of claim 5, the target information comprising instruction information, the transmitting target information to the electronic device comprising:
and transmitting the target information to a firmware system of the electronic equipment through an interface supporting two-way communication, so that the firmware system triggers an operating system to call the target application and realize configuration of the target application after analyzing the instruction information.
7. An output device connectable with an electronic device, comprising:
the first interface is used for being connected with the electronic equipment and at least used for transmitting first attribute information and first image data, wherein the first attribute information comprises display parameter information, and the first image data is determined by the electronic equipment at least according to the display parameter information;
output means for outputting the first image data;
a second interface for connecting an audio device;
the processing device is used for detecting the connection information of the audio equipment, and transmitting target information to the electronic equipment if the connection information indicates that the second interface is connected with the audio equipment;
the target information is used for enabling the electronic equipment to switch from a first audio mode to a second audio mode, wherein the first audio mode is a mode in which audio data are not transmitted through the first interface, and the second audio mode is a mode in which audio data are transmitted through the first interface.
8. The output device of claim 7, further comprising:
the first storage device is used for storing the first attribute information and the target information, the target information is second attribute information, at least part of the first attribute information and the second attribute information are the same, the first attribute information comprises information that the output equipment cannot transmit audio data, and the second attribute information comprises information that the output equipment can transmit audio data.
9. The output device of claim 7, further comprising:
second storage means for storing third image data;
the processing device is also used for: in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain second image data, obtaining the third image data, and controlling the output device to output the third image data;
the electronic device obtains the target information after obtaining the signal representing disconnection and re-physical connection, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and the second image data is image data determined by the electronic device based on the second attribute information.
10. The output device of claim 7, further comprising:
third storage means for storing at least part of the first image data;
the processing device is also used for: in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain second image data, obtaining at least part of the data, and controlling the output device to output the at least part of the data;
the electronic device obtains the target information after obtaining the signal representing disconnection and re-physical connection, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and the second image data is image data determined by the electronic device based on the second attribute information.
