In current work scenarios, it is often necessary to connect a PC externally to a separate display. The PC self display and the external display are used simultaneously, so that the convenience of work of a user can be greatly improved.
At present, the audio output configurations of the independent displays are uneven, when a user connects the notebook computer with the external display, if the external display has no effective audio equipment, the default setting does not transmit the audio data to the display for output, but outputs the audio data at the notebook computer side. However, a user may access the earphone device through the display interface during the process of using the external display, and due to the default setting, the user cannot receive audio data through the earphone device even if the user accesses the audio output device. The third image data is used for prompting the user that the output device is currently working, so that the feeling that the user is boring to wait before the output device restarts outputting the image data sent by the electronic device can be reduced. In some implementations, data relating to the expected wait time may also be included in the third image data to enable a user to determine an approximate wait time. For example, the third image data may further include a word "expected wait time 6 seconds", or a screen for outputting a countdown of the wait time, so as to provide a better use experience for the user. The interface supporting the bidirectional communication can be but is not limited to comprise a USB Type-C interface, a lightning interface and the like, only the interface is required to be ensured to be capable of supporting the bidirectional communication, and only the HDMI interface and the DP interface with the one-way data transmission function are not suitable for the scheme. Thus, in a corresponding implementation, the electronic device may send the first image data or the second image data to the output device via the interface supporting the bidirectional communication, and the output device may also send the instruction information to the electronic device via the interface supporting the bidirectional communication.
The transmission of the instruction information may be implemented based on a dedicated protocol that can be recognized by both the electronic device and the output device, for example, the transmission of the instruction information may be implemented by VDM (Vendor Defined Message) in USB Type-C protocol.

In one specific implementation, a user inserts an earphone into an external display, the external display sends a message of inserting the earphone to a firmware system of the electronic device through the VDM, the firmware system sends the message to a sound card driver application, and a speaker target is selected as the external display, that is, the external display outputs audio data. Correspondingly, after the user pulls the earphone from the external display, the external display sends the earphone pulling message to a firmware system of the electronic device through the VDM, the firmware system sends the message to the sound card driver application, and the speaker target is selected as the electronic device, namely, the electronic device performs audio output.
It should be noted that, in the implementation of the processing method described in this embodiment, a display screen of the output device is always in an on state during the implementation process, and the output device can normally output the first image data before the audio mode is changed, and directly output the second image data and the audio data after the audio mode is changed. A second interface 30 for connecting an audio device.
And the processing device 40 is configured to detect connection information of the audio device, and transmit target information to the electronic device if the connection information indicates that the audio device is connected to the second interface.
The target information is used for enabling the electronic equipment to be switched from a first audio mode to a second audio mode, wherein the first audio mode is a mode of not transmitting audio data through the first interface, and the second audio mode is a mode of transmitting audio data through the first interface.
The type of the first interface 10 is not limited, and it may be an interface supporting different types of protocols, and the transmission interface may be, but is not limited to, any one of a DP interface, an HDMI interface, a USB interface, and a lightning interface.
The processing device 40 may receive the first image data from the electronic device through the first interface 10, and then control the output device 20 to output and display the first image data. The processing means 40 may transmit the target information to the electronic device via said first interface 10 after determining that the audio device is connected to the second interface 30.
After the electronic equipment obtains the target information, the electronic equipment determines that the audio equipment available on the output equipment side exists, and therefore the configuration information of the audio mode is modified. In the new audio mode, the electronic device transmits the audio data to the output device, and the output device outputs the audio data.
In the embodiment, in the process that the electronic equipment outputs image data through the output equipment and outputs audio data through the audio equipment of the electronic equipment, the output equipment can detect whether the output equipment is connected with the effective audio equipment in real time, and can automatically control the switching of audio output from the electronic equipment side to the output equipment side under the condition that the effective audio equipment exists, so that the whole implementation process does not need user participation, is convenient and fast, and improves the use experience of a user.
In one implementation, the output device may further include: the first storage device is configured to store the first attribute information and the target information, where the target information is second attribute information, at least part of contents of the first attribute information and the second attribute information are the same, the first attribute information includes information that the output device cannot transmit audio data, and the second attribute information includes information that the output device can transmit audio data.
In one implementation, the output device may further include: second storage means for storing third image data; the processing device is further configured to: and in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain second image data, obtaining third image data, and controlling the output device to output the third image data.
The electronic device obtains the target information after obtaining the signal indicating that the representation is disconnected and physically connected again, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and the second image data is image data determined by the electronic device based on the second attribute information.
The third image data may be a customized image generated based on the connection information, or may be a predefined standard image. For specific implementation of the third image data, reference may be made to content descriptions of corresponding parts of the method embodiments, and details are not repeated here.
In one implementation, the output device may further include: third storage means for storing at least part of the first image data; the processing device is further configured to: and acquiring at least part of data in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to acquire second image data, and controlling the output device to output the at least part of data.
The electronic device obtains the target information after obtaining the signal indicating that the representation is disconnected and physically connected again, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and the second image data is image data determined by the electronic device based on the second attribute information.
It should be noted that, because at least part of the first image data is used for displaying during the process of implementing hot plug between the output device and the electronic device, and the first image data of the last frame is usually displayed on the display screen during the aforementioned hot plug process, in the implementation, at least part of the first image data needs to be updated regularly, so as to ensure that at least part of the data displayed on the display screen of the output device is the first image data displayed last during the process of implementing hot plug between the output device and the electronic device. The update period of at least part of the data can be configured according to requirements, for example, the update period can be 0.5 second.
Fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of another output device disclosed in the embodiment of the present application, which can be understood by referring to fig. 6. It should be noted that, in practical applications, the first storage device, the second storage device, and the third storage device may belong to different storage areas of one memory, or may belong to different memories, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present application.
The embodiments in the present description are described in a progressive manner, each embodiment focuses on differences from other embodiments, and the same and similar parts among the embodiments are referred to each other. The device disclosed by the embodiment corresponds to the method disclosed by the embodiment, so that the description is simple, and the relevant points can be referred to the method part for description.

Claims (10)

1. A processing method applied to an output device, comprising:
transmitting first attribute information to an electronic device, wherein the first attribute information comprises display parameter information;
obtaining and outputting first image data sent by the electronic equipment in a first audio mode, wherein the first image data is determined by the electronic equipment at least according to the display parameter information, and the first audio mode is a mode of not transmitting audio data;
detecting connection information of an audio device in a process of outputting the first image data;
and if the connection information indicates that the audio equipment is connected, transmitting target information to the electronic equipment, wherein the target information is used for enabling the electronic equipment to be switched from the first audio mode to a second audio mode, and the second audio mode is a mode for transmitting audio data.
2. The processing method according to claim 1, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and before the transmitting the first attribute information to the electronic device, the processing method comprises: physically connecting an electronic device, wherein the absence of a connection to the physical connection enables the electronic device to obtain attribute information;
if the connection information indicates that the audio device is connected, transmitting target information to the electronic device, including: if the connection information indicates that the audio equipment is connected, sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment under the condition of keeping physical connection with the electronic equipment, so that the electronic equipment obtains the second attribute information after obtaining the signal representing disconnection and physical connection again;
wherein the first attribute information includes information that the output device is incapable of transmitting audio data, and the second attribute information includes information that the output device is capable of transmitting audio data.
3. The processing method according to claim 2, further comprising, after the electronic device obtains the second attribute information:
obtaining second image data determined by the electronic equipment based on the second attribute information;
and outputting and displaying third image data in the process of sending the signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain the second image data, wherein the third image data is the data generated by the output equipment.
4. The processing method according to claim 2, before said sending a hot plug signal to the electronic device, further comprising:
saving at least part of the first image data;
and outputting and displaying at least part of the data in the process of sending the signal representing that the electronic equipment is disconnected and physically connected again to the electronic equipment to obtain the second image data.
5. The processing method according to claim 1, wherein the target information is used for configuring a target application of the electronic device, so that the configured target application indicates outputting audio data to the output device;
wherein the target application is an application corresponding to the audio processor.
6. The processing method of claim 5, the target information comprising instruction information, the transmitting target information to the electronic device comprising:
and transmitting the target information to a firmware system of the electronic equipment through an interface supporting bidirectional communication, so that after the firmware system analyzes the instruction information, an operating system is triggered to call the target application and realize the configuration of the target application.
7. An output device, comprising:
the electronic equipment comprises a first interface, a second interface and a third interface, wherein the first interface is used for connecting the electronic equipment and at least used for transmitting first attribute information and first image data, the first attribute information comprises display parameter information, and the first image data is determined by the electronic equipment at least according to the display parameter information;
output means for outputting the first image data;
the second interface is used for connecting audio equipment;
the processing device is used for detecting the connection information of the audio equipment, and transmitting the target information to the electronic equipment if the connection information indicates that the second interface is connected with the audio equipment;
the target information is used for enabling the electronic equipment to be switched from a first audio mode to a second audio mode, wherein the first audio mode is a mode of not transmitting audio data through the first interface, and the second audio mode is a mode of transmitting audio data through the first interface.
8. The output device of claim 7, further comprising:
the first storage device is configured to store the first attribute information and the target information, where the target information is second attribute information, at least part of contents of the first attribute information and the second attribute information are the same, the first attribute information includes information that the output device cannot transmit audio data, and the second attribute information includes information that the output device can transmit audio data.
9. The processing method of claim 7, further comprising:
second storage means for storing third image data;
the processing device is further configured to: in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain second image data, obtaining third image data, and controlling the output device to output the third image data;
the electronic device obtains the target information after obtaining the signal indicating that the representation is disconnected and physically connected again, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and the second image data is image data determined by the electronic device based on the second attribute information.
10. The processing method of claim 7, further comprising:
third storage means for storing at least part of the first image data;
the processing device is further configured to: in the process of sending a signal representing disconnection and physical connection again to the electronic equipment to obtain second image data, obtaining at least part of data, and controlling the output device to output the at least part of data;
the electronic device obtains the target information after obtaining the signal indicating that the representation is disconnected and physically connected again, wherein the target information is second attribute information, and the second image data is image data determined by the electronic device based on the second attribute information.
