Description

Hub motor with axial magnetic flux built-in planetary reducer
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of hub motors, in particular to a hub motor with an axial magnetic flux built-in planetary reducer.
Background
Axial flux machines (also known as "disc machines") have a flux path that is different from that of a conventional radial machine, and the air gap is planar and has a field direction parallel to the machine axis. The core technical advantage of an axial flux machine is that the structure allows the rotor to be located on the side of the stator (rather than inside the stator) and thus the rotor has a larger diameter size, whereas torque = force x radius, thus enabling a higher torque output to be obtained with the same force.
According to the number of stators and rotors, relative positions and main magnetic circuit classification, the basic topological structure of the axial flux motor can be divided into 4 types, namely a single-stator single-rotor structure, a double-stator single-rotor structure, a single-stator double-rotor structure and a multi-disc structure, and 2 structural topologies of a double-stator single-rotor structure and a single-stator double-rotor structure are commonly used in the hub motor. As shown in fig. 1, an existing and common in-wheel motor with a planetary reduction mechanism is shown, and the planetary reduction mechanism, the hub and the motor body of the in-wheel motor are axially arranged, so that the axial size of the whole machine is large, and accordingly, the required installation space is also large, which limits the application range of the in-wheel motor with the reduction mechanism and is not beneficial to popularization and use of the in-wheel motor with the reduction mechanism.
Therefore, an improvement of an in-wheel motor incorporating a planetary reduction gear is required.
