Abstract
An aerosol generating article for modulating the release of a scented material includes an aerosol article, a heating element having a two stage heat supply and a sealing element, a power source, a control module, and a housing. The aerosol product is provided with an aerosol generating substrate and an aroma carrier, and is respectively arranged in a space or range formed by the first heat supply body and the second heat supply body and is sealed and isolated from the outside through a sealing element. The present invention provides an aerosol generating article and method for modulating the release of a fragrance material. The perfume has a single perfume substance modulation structure, and the external perfume substance is released more uniformly and stably; no air flow flows through the aerosol generating substrate and the aroma carrier, so that convective heat transfer does not exist, the temperature of the heating device is kept stable in a working interval, and the aerosol is released more stably; meanwhile, power compensation is not needed, the power consumption of the heating element is stable, the requirements on a power supply and a control module are lower, and the cost of aerosol generation products is reduced.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of tobacco aerosol generation, in particular to an aerosol generating product capable of modulating the release of a flavor substance and a method thereof.
Background
The cigarette smoke is the most direct object for consumers to consume cigarette commodities, and the quality of the cigarette smoke is an important factor for determining the quality of the cigarette commodities. The aroma of the traditional cigarette is mainly obtained by a reasonable leaf group formula, but the aroma of the cigarette can be enriched and corrected by adding the aroma, and the aroma of the cigarette is kept stable. For new tobacco products, in particular for heated cigarettes and electronic cigarettes), the perfuming effect is more prominent: on the one hand, the flavoring substances can supplement and improve the natural flavor of the tobacco substrate or the smoking medium; on the other hand, the fragrant substance has a masking effect on the offensive odor generated during the aerosol generation process, improving the taste of the aerosol product; in addition, the scented material may help the aerosol article create a novel and unique aroma style. Compared with the perfuming process, the release of the odorous substance during the use of the aerosol-generating article is more critical, and the stability of the release determines the stability of the aerosol taste and has an important influence on the quality of the aerosol article.
Disclosure of Invention
To overcome the current deficiencies, the present invention provides an aerosol generating article and method for modulating the release of a fragrance material.
An aerosol generating product capable of modulating fragrance substance release comprises an aerosol product, a heating element, a power supply and a control module, wherein an aerosol generating substrate and a fragrance carrier are arranged at the front end of the aerosol product, an aerosol filtering section is arranged at the rear end of the aerosol product, a hollow aerosol extraction cavity is arranged in the middle of the aerosol generating product, and a side wall through hole is formed in the side wall of the aerosol extraction cavity;
the heating element is a hollow cavity with an opening at one end, a first heat supply body for heating aerosol generating substrates is arranged on the side wall of the heating element close to the sealing end, a second heat supply body for heating the fragrance bodies is arranged on the side wall of the heating element close to the opening end, and a sealing element is arranged at the sealing end of the heating element and/or the rear end of the second heat supply body;
the aerosol generating substrate and the aroma carrier are respectively arranged in a space or a range formed by the first heat supply body and the second heat supply body during the operation or the use of the aerosol generating product and are sealed and isolated from the outside through the sealing element, and the side wall through hole is arranged at the rear end of the sealing element.
The aerosol generating product capable of modulating the release of the fragrant substances further comprises a shell, the power supply and the control module are arranged in the shell, the power supply is communicated with the control module, one end of the shell is provided with a cavity, the heating element is arranged in the cavity, and the heating element is communicated with the control module.
Optionally, the sidewall through hole is communicated with the inside of the aerosol extraction cavity, and the diameter of the sidewall through hole is preferably 0.2-2 mm.
Optionally, the aerosol generating substrate is a tobacco substrate, a herbal substrate, or a chemically formulated synthetic substrate.
Optionally, the fragrance carrier is an aerosol generating substrate loaded with a fragrance material.
Optionally, the fragrance carrier is an organic or inorganic material with a porous structure, a plastic shape, and certain heat resistance characteristics, which is loaded with fragrance substances.
Optionally, the first heat supply body temperature interval is preferably 200 to 800 ℃, and the second heat supply body temperature interval is preferably 30 to 500 ℃.
Optionally, the sidewall through hole is plural.
A method of modulating an aerosol generating article from which a flavoured substance may be released by controlling the power supplied to a heating element such that a first heat supply of the heating element is raised to a first temperature and a second heat supply of the heating element is raised to a second temperature, wherein the first and second temperatures are selected such that aerosol is continuously generated and flavoured substance is continuously released during operation of the aerosol generating article;
upon smoking, external air does not flow through the aerosol-generating substrate and the fragrance carrier directly into the interior of the aerosol-generating article through the sidewall through-holes due to the presence of the sealing means, and enters the consumer's mouth after mixing with the aerosol generated by the aerosol-generating substrate and the fragrance material released by the fragrance carrier within the space or confines created by the aerosol-extracting member.
The front end refers to the end away from the mouth of the consumer and the back end refers to the end close to the mouth of the consumer.
The present invention provides an aerosol generating article and method for modulating the release of a fragrance material. The perfume has a single perfume substance modulation structure, and the external perfume substance is released more uniformly and stably; no air flow flows through the aerosol generating substrate and the aroma carrier, so that convective heat transfer does not exist, the temperature of the heating device is kept stable in a working interval, and the aerosol is released more stably; meanwhile, power compensation is not needed, the power consumption of the heating element is stable, the requirements on the power supply and the control module are lower, and the cost of aerosol generation products is reduced.

Detailed Description
An aerosol generating article and method for modulating the release of a fragrance material according to the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific examples.
Figures 1, 2 and 3 show an aerosol generating article which can modulate the release of a flavoured substance, comprising an aerosol article 4, a heating element 5, a power source 2 and a control module 3,
the front end of the aerosol product 4 is provided with an aerosol generating substrate 41 and a fragrance carrier 42, the rear end is provided with an aerosol filtering section 43, the middle part is internally provided with a hollow aerosol extraction cavity 44, and the side wall of the aerosol extraction cavity 44 is provided with a side wall through hole 441;
the heating element 5 is a hollow cavity with an opening at one end, a first heat supply body 52 for heating aerosol generating substrates is arranged on the side wall of the heating element 5 close to the sealed end, a second heat supply body 53 for heating the fragrance bodies is arranged on the side wall of the heating element 5 close to the open end, and a sealing element 51 is arranged at the closed end of the heating element 5 and/or the rear end of the second heat supply body 53;
the aerosol-generating substrate 41 and the fragrance-carrying body 42 are respectively disposed in a space or range formed by the first heat-supplying body 52 and the second heat-supplying body 53 during operation or use of the aerosol-generating article, and are sealed from the outside by a sealing member 51, and the sidewall through-hole 441 is disposed at the rear end of the sealing member 51.
The aerosol generating product capable of modulating the release of the fragrant substances further comprises a shell 1, the power supply 2 and the control module 3 are arranged inside the shell 1, wherein the power supply 2 is communicated with the control module 3, one end of the shell 1 is provided with a cavity 11, the heating element 5 is arranged in the cavity 11, and the heating element 5 is communicated with the control module 3.
The side wall through hole 441 is communicated with the inside of the aerosol extraction cavity 44, and the diameter of the side wall through hole 441 is preferably 0.2-2 mm.
The aerosol-generating substrate 41 is a tobacco substrate, a herbal substrate, or a chemically formulated synthetic substrate.
The carrier 42 is an aerosol-generating substrate loaded with a fragrance material.
The aroma carrier 42 is an organic or inorganic material having a porous structure, a plastic shape, and a certain heat resistance, and carrying an aroma substance.
The temperature range of the first heat supply body 52 is preferably 200-800 ℃, and the temperature range of the second heat supply body 53 is preferably 30-500 ℃.
The sidewall through hole 441 is plural.
A method of modulating an aerosol generating article from which a flavoured substance may be released, the method comprising controlling the power supplied to a heating element such that a first heat supplying body 52 of the heating element is raised to a first temperature and a second heat supplying body 53 of the heating element is raised to a second temperature, wherein the first and second temperatures are selected such that aerosol is continuously generated and flavoured substance is continuously released during operation of the aerosol generating article;
upon smoking, external air does not flow through the aerosol-generating substrate and the fragrance carrier directly into the interior of the aerosol-generating article through the sidewall through-holes due to the presence of the sealing means, and enters the consumer's mouth after mixing with the aerosol generated by the aerosol-generating substrate and the fragrance material released by the fragrance carrier within the space or confines created by the aerosol-extracting member.
The front end refers to the end far away from the mouth of the consumer, and the back end refers to the end close to the mouth of the consumer.
Figure 4 shows an on-line mass spectrometric continuous monitoring profile of nicotine and menthol release throughout the puff (12 mouthfuls) for an aerosol generating article that modulates fragrance release. Indicating that the aerosol generating article and method thereof are uniform and stable with respect to the release of aerosol and outer fragrance materials.
Finally, it should be noted that the above examples are only intended to describe the technical solutions of the present invention and not to limit the technical methods, the present invention can be extended in application to other modifications, variations, applications and embodiments, and therefore all such modifications, variations, applications, embodiments are considered to be within the spirit and teaching scope of the present invention.
Claims (10)
1. An aerosol-generating article for modulating the release of a scented material, comprising an aerosol-generating article (4), a heating element (5), a power source (2), and a control module (3), wherein the aerosol-generating article (4) has an aerosol-generating substrate (41) and a fragrance carrier (42) at the front end, an aerosol filter segment (43) at the rear end, a hollow aerosol-extracting chamber (44) in the middle, and sidewall through holes (441) in the sidewall of the aerosol-extracting chamber (44);
the heating element (5) is a hollow cavity with an opening at one end, a first heat supply body (52) used for heating aerosol generating substrates is arranged on the side wall of the heating element (5) close to the sealed end, a second heat supply body (53) used for heating the fragrance bodies is arranged on the side wall of the heating element (5) close to the open end, and a sealing element (51) is arranged at the closed end of the heating element (5) and/or the rear end of the second heat supply body (53);
one end of the aerosol product (4) is detachably arranged in the heating element (5), the aerosol generating substrate (41) and the aroma carrier (42) are respectively arranged in a space or a range formed by the first heat supply body (52) and the second heat supply body (53) during the operation or the use of the aerosol generating product and are sealed and isolated from the outside through the sealing element (51), and the side wall through hole (441) is arranged at the rear end of the sealing element (51).

A modulatable aerosol generating article as claimed in claim 1, wherein the modulatable aerosol generating article further comprises a housing (1), the power supply (2) and the control module (3) are disposed inside the housing (1), wherein the power supply (2) is connected to the control module (3), a cavity (11) is disposed at one end of the housing (1), the heating element (5) is disposed in the cavity (11), and the heating element (5) is connected to the control module (3).
3. A modulatable aerosol generating article as set forth in claim 1 wherein said sidewall (441) is open to the interior of the aerosol extraction chamber (44), the sidewall (441) preferably having a diameter of 0.2-2 mm.
4. An aerosol-generating article with a modulatable fragrance material release according to claim 1, wherein the aerosol-generating substrate (41) is a tobacco substrate, a herbal substrate, or a chemically formulated synthetic substrate.
5. An aerosol-generating article which modulates the release of a fragrance material as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that said carrier (42) is an aerosol-generating substrate loaded with a fragrance material.
6. An aerosol generating article for the modulated release of a fragrance material according to claim 1, characterized in that the fragrance carrier (42) is a porous structured, moldable, heat resistant organic or inorganic material loaded with a fragrance material.
7. A modulatable aerosol generating article as set forth in claim 1, wherein the first heat supply means (52) is preferably at a temperature in the range of 200 to 800 degrees celsius and the second heat supply means (53) is preferably at a temperature in the range of 30 to 500 degrees celsius.
8. A modulatable aerosol generating article as set forth in claim 3 wherein said sidewall through hole (441) is plural.
9. A method of modulating an aerosol generating article which releases a flavoured substance according to any of claims 1 to 8, wherein the power supplied to the heating element is controlled such that a first heat supply (52) of the heating element is raised to a first temperature and a second heat supply (53) of the heating element is raised to a second temperature, wherein the first and second temperatures are selected such that aerosol is continuously generated and flavoured substance is continuously released during operation of the aerosol generating article;
upon smoking, external air does not flow through the aerosol-generating substrate and the fragrance carrier directly into the interior of the aerosol-generating article through the sidewall through-holes due to the presence of the sealing means, and enters the consumer's mouth after mixing with the aerosol generated by the aerosol-generating substrate and the fragrance material released by the fragrance carrier within the space or confines created by the aerosol-extracting member.
10. A modulatable aerosol generating article for dispensing a fragrance material and method as set forth in any one of claims 1-9, wherein said front end is the end away from the mouth of the consumer and said back end is the end near the mouth of the consumer.
