The angle θ 1 corresponding to the urging portion 164 and the angle θ corresponding to the toothless portion 31f further have the following relationship: when θ is less than or equal to θ 1, that is, the first angle θ 1 of the counting member 31 rotated by the urging portion 164 exceeds the angle θ corresponding to the toothless portion 31f, the counting member 31 can directly return to the initial state of starting counting, and at this time, the urging surface 31i1 on the blocking portion 31i becomes unnecessary; when theta is larger than theta 1, the first angle theta 1 of the counting member 31 rotated by the urging part 164 does not exceed the angle theta corresponding to the non-toothed part 31f, the toothed part 31e is not yet engaged with the second gear 42, and the counting member 31 is required to be rotated by a second angle theta 2 under the action of the reset action rod 33, and finally the toothed part 31e of the counting member 31 is engaged with the second gear 42, i.e. theta is smaller than or equal to (theta 1+ theta 2).
[ counting and resetting Process of counting Assembly ]
As described above, the urging surface 31i1 becomes unnecessary under the condition that the urging portion 164 satisfies a certain condition, however, in order that the entire structure of the counting assembly 30 does not become complicated and the movement of the counting member 31 is more easily controlled, it is preferable that the blocking portion 31i is provided with the urging surface 31i1, which will be described below in the case where the urging surface 31i1 is provided; when the urging surface 31i1 is not provided, as long as the urging portion 164 satisfies the above-described condition, the counting process and the resetting process of the counting member 31 are the same as those described below.
Fig. 8A to 8D are schematic views showing the positions of the respective parts of the counter assembly before the developing cartridge according to the present invention is mounted. For ease of description, only the components associated with the counting assembly 30 are shown.
When the developing cartridge 10 is in the unmounted state, that is, when the developing cartridge 10 is not mounted to the housing groove 55, as shown in the drawing, the toothed portion 31e of the counter 31 is about to mesh with the second gear 42, the non-toothed portion 31f is opposite to the second gear 42, the counter 31 does not rotate with the rotation of the second gear 42, and the guided lever 31h contacts the first portion 161 of the guide rail 16; the reset action lever 33 is in an extended state; as shown in fig. 8C and 8D, the return action lever 33 is opposed to the urging surface 31i1 in the vertical direction Z, and the return action lever 33 at least partially overlaps the urging surface 31i1 when viewed in the vertical direction Z; since the counting member 31 cannot perform the counting operation, the state of the counting member 31 at this time is referred to as a pre-reset state.
Fig. 9A to 9D are schematic views showing the positions of the respective parts of the counter assembly before the developing cartridge according to the present invention is mounted and starts to operate.
When the developing cartridge 10 is mounted to the housing groove 55, the reset action lever 33 is urged by the bottom plate 59 of the drum assembly 50, the reset action lever 33 is gradually retracted in the + Z direction, the second spring 34 is gradually compressed, as described above, since the reset action lever 33 is opposed to the urging surface 31i1, the gradually retracted reset action lever 33 will urge the urging surface 31i1 to apply urging force, and in the embodiment of the present invention, the urging surface 31i1 is inclined with respect to the line in which the expanding and contracting direction of the reset action lever 33 is located, and therefore, when the reset action lever 33 applies urging force to the urging surface 31i1, the counter 31 will be driven to rotate in the direction indicated by r about the rotation axis L3 by the second angle θ 2, as shown in fig. 9A and 9B, the toothed portion 31e of the counter 31 starts to engage with the second gear 42, and as shown in fig. 9C and 9D, the reset action lever 33 and the urging surface 31i1 no longer overlap.
FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating the counting assembly according to the present invention in a starting state; FIGS. 11A-11D are schematic views of the position of the components of the counting assembly of the present invention after counting is completed.
When the process cartridge formed after the developing cartridge 10 is combined with the drum assembly 50 is mounted to the electrophotographic image forming apparatus, the power receiving member 20 can be combined with the power output member provided in the apparatus, and the power receiving member 20 is driven to rotate about the rotation axis L2, and as the power receiving member 20 rotates, the driving force can be transmitted to the counter member 31 through the power transmission assembly 40, and thus, the counter member 31 starts to rotate about the rotation axis L3 in the direction indicated by r.
The position of the stopper 31i satisfies: as shown in fig. 6C, the distance d between the point of the stopper 31i closest to the center of the rotation is larger than the maximum radius of the guide rail 16 (as shown in fig. 7C), and thus, when the counter 31 is supported by the support member 15 to rotate about the rotation axis L3, interference between the stopper 31i and the guide rail 16 does not occur.
As shown in fig. 10, the counting member 31 returns to the initial position of starting counting, which can be described as: the guided rod 31h reaches the first position at the adjacent of the first portion 161 and the second portion 162 of the guide rail 16; or the position of the counter 31 when the toothed portion 31e of the counter 31 starts to engage with the second gear 42 as shown in fig. 9A to 9D, at which the guided rod 31h is located at the second position that has not reached the vicinity of the first portion 161 and the second portion 162 of the guide rail 16; or the counting member 31h is located at any one position between the first position and the second position; that is, the initial position of the counting member 31 may be any one of the above three cases, and when the counting member 31 is located at the initial position, the guide rod 31h is located at a position contacting the first portion 161 of the guide rail 16.
As the counting member 31 rotates in the direction indicated by r about the rotation axis L, the guided rod 31h starts to gradually move away from the housing 11 along the second portion 162 of the guide track 16, the toggle protrusion 31g also gradually moves away from the housing 11, the first spring 32 between the counting member 31 and the housing 13 is gradually compressed, when the guided rod 31h reaches the third portion 163 of the guide track 16, the counting member 31 is farthest away from the housing 11, the toggle protrusion 31g starts to toggle the counting member, and the first spring 32 is not compressed any more; when the counting member 31 finishes counting, the guided rod 31h is out of contact with the third section 163 of the guide rail 16 and moves in a direction approaching the housing 11 under the elastic restoring force of the first spring 32, as shown in fig. 11A, the guided rod 31h reaches a position contacting the urging portion 164 from the third section 163, but the elastic restoring force of the first spring 32 is not released, as shown in fig. 11B, the toothless portion 31f of the counting member 31 opposes the second gear 42, the counting member 31 stops rotating by no longer receiving the driving force of the second gear 42, and, as shown in fig. 11C and 11D, the blocking surface 31i2 of the blocking portion 31i is adjacent to the return action rod 33, and since the urging portion 164 is inclined with respect to the rotation axis L3, the counting member 31 has a tendency to continue to approach the housing 11 and rotate in a direction indicated by r around the rotation axis under the remaining elastic restoring force of the first spring 32, but the blocking portion 31i on the counting member 31 is returned to the action rod 33, the counting member 31 continues to be rotated, and thus the counting member 31 is kept in a tendency to be away from the counting end of the counting member 31h, i.e., the counting member 31h, and the end of the counting member 31h is kept away from the position, which is able to be in a state of being kept away from the second section 31h, and is kept in contact with the second section 31h, as shown in a state of the second spring 33.
The counting process of the counting assembly 30 is described above, and the resetting process of the counting assembly 30 will be described next.
When the developing cartridge 10 is taken out of the accommodating groove 55, the return action lever 33 is no longer pressed by the bottom plate 59 of the drum assembly 50, and the return action lever 33 will move in the-Z direction by the elastic return force of the second spring 34, returning from the retracted state to the extended state shown in fig. 8B and 8D.
As described above, after the counting member 31 finishes counting, the first spring 32 still has partial elastic restoring force not yet released, the guided rod 31h is located at a position in contact with the end of the urging portion 164 away from the housing 11, when the restoring action rod 33 returns from the retracted state to the extended state, the restoring action rod 33 will no longer contact with the blocking portion 31i, that is, the blocking portion 31i is no longer blocked, the counting member 31 will rotate around the rotation axis L3 in the direction indicated by r under the combined action of the elastic restoring force of the first spring 32 and the urging portion 164 until the guided rod 31h reaches the end of the urging portion 164 close to the housing 11, the counting member 31 reaches the pre-reset state from the counting-finished state, that is, the guided rod 31h contacts the first portion 161 of the guide rail 16, as shown in fig. 8A and 8B, and the toothed portion 31e of the counting member 31 will be about to engage with the second gear 42.
When the developing cartridge 10 is mounted to the housing groove 55 again, the reset operation lever 33 is pressed by the bottom plate 59 of the drum assembly 50 again, the reset operation lever 33 reaches the retracted state shown in fig. 9B and 9D, and the counting member 31 returns to the initial position where counting is started.
As can be seen from the above description, the counting member 31 is divided into two processes from the completion of counting to the initial position where counting is started, namely, the process of taking out the developing cartridge 10 from the accommodating groove 55 and the process of remounting the developing cartridge 10 to the accommodating groove 55 again, specifically: during the process of taking out the developing cartridge 10 from the accommodating groove 55, the counting member 31 reaches the pre-reset state from the state in which the counting is completed, and the counting member 31 rotates in the direction indicated by r by the first angle θ 1 around the rotation axis L3 under the combined action of the elastic reset force of the first spring 32 and the urging portion 164, at this time, the counting member 31 does not mesh with the second gear 42, and also does not rotate with the rotation of the second gear 42; in the process of the developer cartridge 10 being mounted to the housing groove 55 again, the counter member 31 is brought from the pre-reset state to the reset state, and the counter member is rotated by the second angle θ 2 in the direction indicated by r about the rotation axis L3 by the reset operation lever 33, at which time the counter member 31 is meshed with the second gear 42 so as to be rotatable in accordance with the rotation of the second gear 42.
As described above, when the urging portion 164 satisfies the angle θ 1 ≧ θ corresponding thereto, the urging surface 31i1 is no longer necessarily provided, at which time, the counting member 31 is returned from the counting completion to the initial position at which counting is started only by one process, and in the process of taking out the developing cartridge 10 from the accommodating groove 55, the returning action lever 33 no longer restricts the counting member 31 by the blocking portion 31i, and the counting member 31 is rotated by the angle θ 1 in the direction indicated by r about the rotation axis L3 under the combined action of the elastic returning force of the first spring 32 and the urging portion 164, so that the counting member 31 directly reaches the above-described returning state, that is, the toothed portion 31e on the counting member 31 is engaged with the second gear 42, and is contacted by the guide lever 31h with the first portion 161 of the guide rail 16, and the counting member 31 can be rotated with the rotation of the second gear 42.
The embodiment in which the reset operation lever 33 is pressed by the bottom plate 59 of the drum assembly 50 when the developing cartridge 10 is mounted to the housing groove 55 has been described above, however, the reset operation lever 33 may also be pressed by other portions of the drum assembly 50, for example, the reset operation lever 33 is pressed by at least one of the first plate 51, the second plate 52, the third plate 53, and the fourth plate 54 of the drum assembly 50, as long as it can be ensured that the reset operation lever 33 can receive a force to force the retraction thereof when the developing cartridge 10 is mounted.
According to the developing cartridge 10 and the processing cartridge provided by the invention, when the developer in the developing cartridge 10 is taken out after being consumed, a terminal user adds new development, and after the developing cartridge 10 is installed in office equipment such as a printer or a copier again, the counting assembly 30 in the developing cartridge 10 can be automatically reset, the counting assembly 30 does not need to be manually reset by the terminal user, the use experience of the terminal user is improved, the terminal user is more willing to achieve the purpose of reusing the developing cartridge 10 by supplementing the new developer into the developing cartridge 10, and therefore, the purpose of utilizing the developing cartridge 10 to the maximum extent is achieved.
