Technical Field
The disclosure relates to the field of communication technologies, and in particular, to a terminal capability reporting method and a user terminal.
Background
In the prior art, the coverage performance of the base station can be effectively improved by the base station through joint channel estimation. In order to achieve joint channel estimation of the base station, it is required that the user terminal maintains power consistency and phase continuity.
Disclosure of Invention
The inventor finds through research that, since the base station cannot know in time whether the user terminal has the capability of supporting maintaining the power consistency and the phase continuity, when the user terminal starts to maintain the power consistency and the phase continuity, and how long the user terminal can maintain the power consistency and the phase continuity, joint channel estimation cannot be effectively realized.
Accordingly, the present disclosure provides a terminal capability reporting scheme, which can help a base station to effectively implement joint channel estimation.

Fig. 1 is a flow chart of a terminal capability reporting method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the following terminal capability reporting method steps are performed by the user terminal.
In step 101, terminal capability information is acquired. The terminal capability information includes capability information whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.

In some embodiments, in the sliding window scenario, the user terminal triggers to maintain power consistency and phase continuity according to the indication of the network side, and the capability of maintaining power consistency and phase continuity is independent of the time slot number. The user terminal reports the corresponding continuous time slot number or symbol number by reporting the duration for maintaining the power consistency and the phase continuity.
As shown in fig. 6, the ue may maintain power consistency and phase continuity in slots {3, 4, 5, 6} and slots {11, 12, 13, 14} according to the triggering of the network side.
In step 102, terminal capability information is reported to a base station. Therefore, the base station can realize joint channel estimation according to the terminal capability information reported by the user terminal, and the coverage performance is improved.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of a user terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 7, the user terminal includes an acquisition module 71 and a reporting module 72.
The acquisition module 71 acquires terminal capability information. The terminal capability information includes capability information whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.

The reporting module 62 reports terminal capability information to the base station. Therefore, the base station can realize joint channel estimation according to the terminal capability information reported by the user terminal, and the coverage performance is improved.
Fig. 8 is a schematic structural view of a user terminal according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 8, the user terminal includes a memory 81 and a processor 82.
The memory 81 is used for storing instructions. The processor 82 is coupled to the memory 81. The processor 82 is configured to perform a method as referred to in any of the embodiments of fig. 1 based on the instructions stored by the memory.
As shown in fig. 8, the user terminal further comprises a communication interface 83 for information interaction with other devices. Meanwhile, the user terminal further comprises a bus 84, and the processor 82, the communication interface 83, and the memory 81 perform communication with each other through the bus 84.
The Memory 81 may include a high-speed RAM (Random Access Memory ) and may further include a Non-Volatile Memory (NVM). Such as at least one disk storage. The memory 81 may also be a memory array. The memory 81 may also be partitioned and the blocks may be combined into virtual volumes according to certain rules.
Further, the processor 82 may be a central processing unit, or may be an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit ), or one or more integrated circuits configured to implement embodiments of the present disclosure.
