The disclosure provides a terminal capability reporting method and a user terminal. The terminal capability reporting method comprises the following steps: and reporting the terminal capability information to a base station, wherein the terminal capability information comprises capability information of whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity. Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a terminal capability reporting method and a user terminal.
Background
In the prior art, the base station can effectively improve the coverage performance of the base station through joint channel estimation. In order to achieve joint channel estimation by the base station, the user terminal is required to maintain power consistency and phase continuity.
Disclosure of Invention
The inventor finds, through research, that joint channel estimation cannot be effectively implemented because the base station cannot know in time whether the user terminal has the capability of supporting maintaining power consistency and phase continuity, when the user terminal starts to maintain power consistency and phase continuity, and for how long the user terminal can maintain power consistency and phase continuity.
Accordingly, the present disclosure provides a terminal capability reporting scheme, which can help a base station to effectively implement joint channel estimation.

Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for reporting terminal capability according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the following terminal capability reporting method steps are performed by the user terminal.

In some embodiments, in a sliding window scenario, the ue triggers the power consistency and phase continuity maintenance according to an indication from the network side, and the power consistency and phase continuity maintenance capability is independent of the time length and the timeslot number. That is, the ue reports the number of consecutive slots or symbols by reporting the duration for maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.
As shown in FIG. 6, the user terminal can maintain power consistency and phase continuity in time slots {3, 4, 5, 6} and time slots {11, 12, 13, 14} according to the trigger on the network side.
In step 102, the terminal capability information is reported to the base station. Therefore, the base station can realize joint channel estimation according to the terminal capability information reported by the user terminal, and the coverage performance is improved.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of a user terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 7, the ue includes an acquiring module 71 and a reporting module 72.
The acquisition module 71 acquires the terminal capability information. The terminal capability information includes capability information whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.

Fig. 8 is a schematic structural diagram of a user terminal according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 8, the user terminal includes a memory 81 and a processor 82.
The memory 81 is used to store instructions. The processor 82 is coupled to a memory 81. The processor 82 is configured to perform a method as described in relation to any of the embodiments of fig. 1 based on the instructions stored in the memory.
As shown in fig. 8, the user terminal further includes a communication interface 83 for information interaction with other devices. Meanwhile, the user terminal further comprises a bus 84, and the processor 82, the communication interface 83 and the memory 81 are communicated with each other through the bus 84.
