Abstract
The disclosure provides a terminal capability reporting method and a user terminal. The terminal capability reporting method comprises the following steps: and reporting the terminal capability information to a base station, wherein the terminal capability information comprises capability information of whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity. Therefore, the base station can realize joint channel estimation according to the terminal capability information reported by the user terminal, and the coverage performance is improved.
Description
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a terminal capability reporting method and a user terminal.
Background
In the prior art, the base station can effectively improve the coverage performance of the base station through joint channel estimation. In order to achieve joint channel estimation by the base station, the user terminal is required to maintain power consistency and phase continuity.
Disclosure of Invention
The inventor finds, through research, that joint channel estimation cannot be effectively implemented because the base station cannot know in time whether the user terminal has the capability of supporting maintaining power consistency and phase continuity, when the user terminal starts to maintain power consistency and phase continuity, and for how long the user terminal can maintain power consistency and phase continuity.
Accordingly, the present disclosure provides a terminal capability reporting scheme, which can help a base station to effectively implement joint channel estimation.
According to a first aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, a method for reporting a terminal capability is provided, which is performed by a user terminal, and includes: and reporting terminal capability information to a base station, wherein the terminal capability information comprises capability information of whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.
In some embodiments, the terminal capability information further comprises: the user terminal starts to maintain time information of power consistency and phase continuity.

In some embodiments, in a fixed window scenario, the capability of maintaining power consistency and phase continuity is associated with a duration and a timeslot number, wherein the ue maintains power consistency and phase continuity in a preset periodic manner; the terminal capability information further includes the slot number.
In some embodiments, in a sliding window scenario, the capability of maintaining power consistency and phase continuity is independent of time duration and timeslot number, wherein the user terminal triggers maintaining power consistency and phase continuity according to an indication from a network side.
According to a second aspect of the embodiments of the present disclosure, there is provided a user terminal, including: a reporting module configured to report terminal capability information to a base station, where the terminal capability information includes capability information of whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.

Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a method for reporting terminal capability according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the following terminal capability reporting method steps are performed by the user terminal.
In step 101, terminal capability information is acquired. The terminal capability information includes capability information whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.
In some embodiments, the terminal capability information further comprises: the user terminal starts to maintain time information of power consistency and phase continuity.
In some embodiments, the terminal capability information further comprises: the user terminal maintains the duration information of power consistency and phase continuity.
In some embodiments, the terminal capability information further comprises: the user terminal maintains condition information of power consistency and phase continuity.
For example, the condition information includes at least one of: whether an interval can be included in the uplink time slot for reporting the terminal capability information, and whether an interval can be included between two adjacent uplink time slots for reporting the terminal capability information.
As shown in fig. 2, no interval is included in the uplink timeslot and between uplink timeslots for reporting the terminal capability information.
As shown in fig. 3, an interval is included in an uplink timeslot for reporting terminal capability information, and no interval is included between uplink timeslots.
As shown in fig. 4, no interval is included in the uplink timeslot for reporting the terminal capability information, and an interval is included between uplink timeslots.
In some embodiments, in the case that the condition information includes an interval in the uplink timeslot for reporting the terminal capability information, or an interval may be included between two adjacent uplink timeslots for reporting the terminal capability information, the terminal capability information further includes a maximum duration of the interval.
In some embodiments, in a fixed window scenario, the ue maintains power consistency and phase continuity in a preset periodic manner, the capability of maintaining power consistency and phase continuity is associated with a time length and a timeslot number, and the reported terminal capability information further includes the timeslot number. That is, the user terminal reports the number of the corresponding continuous time slots or the number of the symbols by reporting the time slot number and the duration for keeping the power consistency and the phase continuity.
As shown in fig. 5, the user terminal can maintain power consistency and phase continuity in time slots {1, 2, 3, 4}, time slots {5, 6, 7, 8}, time slots {9, 10, 11, 12}, and time slots {13, 14, 15, 16 }.
In some embodiments, in a sliding window scenario, the ue triggers the power consistency and phase continuity maintenance according to an indication from the network side, and the power consistency and phase continuity maintenance capability is independent of the time length and the timeslot number. That is, the ue reports the number of consecutive slots or symbols by reporting the duration for maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.
As shown in FIG. 6, the user terminal can maintain power consistency and phase continuity in time slots {3, 4, 5, 6} and time slots {11, 12, 13, 14} according to the trigger on the network side.
In step 102, the terminal capability information is reported to the base station. Therefore, the base station can realize joint channel estimation according to the terminal capability information reported by the user terminal, and the coverage performance is improved.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of a user terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 7, the ue includes an acquiring module 71 and a reporting module 72.
The acquisition module 71 acquires the terminal capability information. The terminal capability information includes capability information whether the user terminal supports maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.
In some embodiments, the terminal capability information further comprises: the user terminal starts to maintain time information of power consistency and phase continuity.
In some embodiments, the terminal capability information further comprises: the user terminal maintains the duration information of power consistency and phase continuity.
In some embodiments, the terminal capability information further comprises: the user terminal maintains condition information of power consistency and phase continuity.
For example, the condition information includes at least one of: whether an interval can be included in the uplink time slot for reporting the terminal capability information or not, and whether an interval can be included between two adjacent uplink time slots for reporting the terminal capability information or not.
As shown in fig. 2, no interval is included in the uplink timeslot and between uplink timeslots for reporting the terminal capability information.
As shown in fig. 3, an interval is included in an uplink timeslot for reporting terminal capability information, and no interval is included between uplink timeslots.
As shown in fig. 4, no interval is included in the uplink timeslot for reporting the terminal capability information, and an interval is included between uplink timeslots.
In some embodiments, in a case that the condition information includes an interval in an uplink timeslot for reporting the terminal capability information, or an interval may be included between two adjacent uplink timeslots for reporting the terminal capability information, the terminal capability information further includes a maximum duration of the interval.
In some embodiments, in a fixed window scenario, the ue maintains power consistency and phase continuity in a preset periodic manner, the capability of maintaining power consistency and phase continuity is associated with a time length and a timeslot number, and the reported terminal capability information further includes the timeslot number. That is, the user terminal reports the number of the corresponding continuous time slots or the number of the symbols by reporting the time slot number and the duration for keeping the power consistency and the phase continuity.
As shown in fig. 5, the user terminal can maintain power consistency and phase continuity in time slots {1, 2, 3, 4}, time slots {5, 6, 7, 8}, time slots {9, 10, 11, 12}, and time slots {13, 14, 15, 16 }.
In some embodiments, in a sliding window scenario, the ue triggers to maintain power consistency and phase continuity according to an indication from the network side, and the capability of maintaining power consistency and phase continuity is independent of time length and timeslot number. That is, the ue reports the number of consecutive slots or symbols by reporting the duration for maintaining power consistency and phase continuity.
As shown in FIG. 6, the user terminal can maintain power consistency and phase continuity in time slots {3, 4, 5, 6} and time slots {11, 12, 13, 14} according to the trigger on the network side.
The reporting module 62 reports the terminal capability information to the base station. Therefore, the base station can realize joint channel estimation according to the terminal capability information reported by the user terminal, and the coverage performance is improved.
Fig. 8 is a schematic structural diagram of a user terminal according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 8, the user terminal includes a memory 81 and a processor 82.
The memory 81 is used to store instructions. The processor 82 is coupled to a memory 81. The processor 82 is configured to perform a method as described in relation to any of the embodiments of fig. 1 based on the instructions stored in the memory.
As shown in fig. 8, the user terminal further includes a communication interface 83 for information interaction with other devices. Meanwhile, the user terminal further comprises a bus 84, and the processor 82, the communication interface 83 and the memory 81 are communicated with each other through the bus 84.
The Memory 81 may include a Random Access Memory (RAM) or a Non-Volatile Memory (NVM). Such as at least one disk storage. The memory 81 may also be a memory array. The storage 81 may also be partitioned and the blocks may be combined into virtual volumes according to certain rules.
Further, the processor 82 may be a central processing unit, or may be an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit), or one or more Integrated circuits configured to implement embodiments of the present disclosure.
The present disclosure also provides a computer-readable storage medium. The computer-readable storage medium stores computer instructions, and the instructions, when executed by the processor, implement the method according to any one of the embodiments in fig. 1.
In some embodiments, the functional modules may be implemented as a general-purpose Processor, a Programmable Logic Controller (Programmable Logic Controller, abbreviated as: a PLC), a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) or other Programmable Logic device, discrete Gate or transistor Logic, discrete hardware components, or any suitable combination thereof.

and in the case that the condition information includes an interval in an uplink timeslot for reporting the terminal capability information, or an interval may be included between two adjacent uplink timeslots for reporting the terminal capability information, the terminal capability information further includes a maximum duration of the interval.
6. The method of any one of claims 1-5,
in a fixed window scene, the capability and the duration of keeping the power consistency and the phase continuity are associated with a time slot number, wherein the power consistency and the phase continuity are kept by the user terminal in a preset periodic mode;
the terminal capability information further includes the slot number.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein,
