Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present disclosure, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like reference numerals refer to the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar functions throughout. The embodiments described below with reference to the drawings are exemplary and intended to be illustrative of the present disclosure, and should not be construed as limiting the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a network access method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, executed by a User Equipment (UE), the network access method includes the following steps:
step 101, acquiring indication information of subscription switching.
It should be noted that, in this disclosure, the UE may obtain indication information of subscription switching from the network device and the UE itself. Optionally, the current network may issue indication information of subscription switching, and accordingly, the UE may obtain the indication information of subscription switching issued by the network device; optionally, according to a preset local policy or configuration, the UE may trigger the indication information of the subscription switching itself, and accordingly, the UE may obtain the indication information of the subscription switching triggered by itself.
And 102, selecting target subscription information to perform network access registration based on the indication information.
It should be noted that, in this disclosure, if a device has multiple pieces of subscription information and only one piece of subscription information is allowed to access a network at the same time, in this case, after receiving the indication information, the UE may select the target subscription information based on the indication information, and then perform corresponding procedures such as subscription reselection and network entry registration.
As a possible implementation manner, in the present disclosure, the subscription information list may be preset based on a plurality of subscription information.
Taking the Subscription information list shown in fig. 2 as an example, the Subscription information list may include a Subscription Index (Subscription Index)2-1 arranged according to a preset priority and a corresponding operating State (State)2-2 of the current Subscription information. In this case, when attempting to perform network entry registration, the UE may select the subscription index with the highest priority and perform network entry registration according to the subscription information corresponding to the subscription index.
The subscription index may be Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) or non-Public Mobile Network SNPN determined by PLMN ID and nid (Network identifier). For example, the subscription index may be PLMN-1, SNPN-1 through SNPN-3.
The priority can be set according to actual conditions. Alternatively, the setting may be performed according to user habits, service time ratios, and the like, for example, the priority ranking from high to low of PLMN-1 and SNPN-1 to SNPN-3 may be set as: PLMN-1, SNPN-2 and SNPN-3.
The working status of the current subscription information may be a status (Registered) indicating that the subscription information has successfully Registered in the network, or a status (Registered) indicating that the subscription information does not currently register in the network. For example, the working state of the current subscription information corresponding to PLMN-1 is Registered, and the working states of the current subscription information corresponding to SNPN-1 to SNPN-3 are Registered.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of another network access method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 3, the network access method is executed by a User Equipment (UE for short), and includes the following steps:
step 301, acquiring indication information of subscription switching.
Step 302, based on the indication information, determining the priority of the subscription information of the UE.
It should be noted that, in this disclosure, if the indication information is from the network device, the indication information may not carry target index information of the target subscription information; and if the indication information comes from the UE, the indication information needs to carry target index information of the target subscription information needed to be used by the UE.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, determining the priority of the subscription information of the UE may be initial setting, or may update the priority of the subscription information of the UE.
As a possible implementation manner, in the initialization process, since the priority of the subscription information of the UE does not exist currently, in this case, the priority of the subscription information of the UE may be newly established as an initial setting, so as to determine the priority of the subscription information of the UE.
As another possible implementation manner, in the non-initialization operation process, because of the priority of the subscription information of the currently existing UE, in this case, the priority of the subscription information of the currently existing UE may be updated to determine the priority of the subscription information of the UE.
Alternatively, if the indication information includes target index information of the target subscription information that the UE needs to use, when trying to select the target subscription information for network entry registration based on the indication information, as a possible implementation manner, if the indication information includes the target index information of the target subscription information that the UE needs to use, the priority of the target index information may be updated to be the highest priority.
As another possible implementation manner, if the indication information includes target index information of target subscription information that the UE needs to use, the state of the target index information may be updated to a deregistration state. The unregistered state refers to notification content sent to a subscribing network element subscribed to the network element service state, so as to trigger the subscribing network element to initiate a request for establishing or updating a context to a new-side network element.
As another possible implementation manner, if the indication information includes target index information of target subscription information that the UE needs to use, the priority of the target index information may be set as the highest priority, and the state of the target index information may be updated to the deregistered state.
And step 303, selecting one piece of subscription information as target subscription information according to the sequence of the priorities from high to low.
Taking the subscription information list shown in fig. 2 as an example, if the priorities of PLMN-1 and SNPN-1 to SNPN-3 are arranged from high to low: PLMN-1, SNPN-2 and SNPN-3, in which case, PLMN-1, SNPN-2 and SNPN-3 can be selected as target subscription information.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the subscription information with the highest priority may be selected as the target subscription information. If the registration is successful, responding to the successful network access registration of the target subscription information, and stopping selecting the subscription information corresponding to the next priority as the target subscription information; if the matching network cannot be found in the current priority, the next priority can be tried in sequence until the target subscription information is successfully registered in the network.
It should be noted that, if network access registration is not successfully performed according to all priorities in the subscription information list, default subscription information may be used as target subscription information, and further registered to a network, such as a temporary/restricted network, to support an emergency service initiated by a user.
In some embodiments, the above method of embodiments of the present disclosure may further include:
and step 304, in response to the successful network access registration of the target subscription information, stopping selecting the subscription information corresponding to the next priority as the target subscription information.
According to the network access method of the embodiment of the disclosure, the user equipment can select the target subscription information for network access registration to realize network access registration by acquiring the indication information of subscription switching and based on the indication information, so that when the UE has multiple subscriptions at the same time, the USIM card does not need to be replaced, and specific target subscription information can be selected/switched before network access based on the indication information of subscription switching, so that a desired service can be acquired through a corresponding network.
It should be noted that, in the present disclosure, since the UE may obtain the indication information of subscription switching from the network device and the UE itself, the network access method proposed in the present disclosure is explained below with respect to the network device sending indication information and the UE itself triggering indication information.
As a possible implementation manner for the UE to trigger the indication information, as shown in fig. 4, the network access method includes the following steps:
step 401, monitoring the subscription switching trigger condition, and generating the indication information of subscription switching in response to the monitoring of the trigger condition.
It should be noted that, in the present disclosure, the subscription switching trigger condition may be predefined to be limited, for example, if a relevant control on an Application program (APP) display interface is triggered, it may be limited to recognize that the subscription switching trigger condition is satisfied. In this case, the subscription switching trigger condition may be monitored, and the subscription switching indication information may be generated in response to the monitoring of the trigger condition.
Step 402, based on the indication information, determining a priority of the subscription information of the UE.
It should be noted that, in this disclosure, if the indication information is from the network device, the indication information may not carry target index information of the target subscription information; and if the indication information comes from the UE, the indication information needs to carry target index information of the target subscription information needed to be used by the UE.
As another possible implementation manner, if the indication information includes target index information of target subscription information that the UE needs to use, the priority of the target index information may be updated to the highest priority, and the status of the target index information may be updated to the deregistered status.
Step 403, according to the indication information, sending a deregistration request message to the network device.
The deregistration request message may carry target index information and a subscription switching indication in the indication information. Accordingly, the network device may receive the deregistration request message, and the network device performs the deregistration procedure after receiving the deregistration request message.
And step 404, selecting one piece of subscription information as target subscription information according to the sequence of the priorities from high to low.
And responding to the deregistration response message to show that the deregistration is successful, and in this case, reselecting the subscription information to carry out network access registration.
In some embodiments, the method may further comprise: based on the initial setting, selecting one piece of subscription information as target subscription information to carry out network access registration.
Step 405, in response to the successful network access registration of the target subscription information, stopping selecting the subscription information corresponding to the next priority as the target subscription information.
As a possible implementation manner for sending the indication information to the network device, as shown in fig. 5, the network access method includes the following steps:
step 501, a deregistration request message or a configuration signaling sent by a network device is received, wherein the deregistration request message or the configuration signaling carries indication information.
As a possible implementation manner, as shown in fig. 6, the method specifically includes the following steps:
step 601, sending a service request to a network device.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, when the UE attempts to acquire the indication information, a service request may be sent to the network device. Accordingly, the network device may receive a service request.
Step 602, a deregistration request message sent by a network device is received, wherein the deregistration request message is sent when the network device determines that a service request of the UE cannot be satisfied.
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the network device may send a deregistration request message to the UE. Accordingly, the UE may receive a de-registration request message.
Step 603, obtaining a subscription information list, where the subscription information list includes a priority of subscription information and a status of subscription information.
The subscription information list comprises index information of the subscription information, and the index information is sorted from high to low in the subscription information list according to the priority corresponding to the subscription information.
Optionally, the indication information may be obtained according to the deregistration request message; optionally, the indication information may be obtained according to configuration signaling.
Step 502, based on the indication information, determining the priority of the subscription information of the UE.
Step 503, selecting the target subscription information based on the determined priority.
According to the network access method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the user equipment can determine the matched strategy for selecting the target subscription information according to different sources of the indication information, so that the effectiveness and the reliability in the network access process are improved.
It should be noted that, as shown in fig. 7, to implement network entry registration, the UE may initiate a de-registration process (registration) based on the indication information, and then implement network re-entry through communication between different network elements.
Optionally, different from the related art, in the present disclosure, step 7-0 is added, and when the UE receives the indication information, the subscription information list may be updated, that is, the priority of the target index information in the indication information is adjusted to be the highest, for example, the subscription information list shown in fig. 8 after the priority is adjusted is obtained.
The indication information may be from the current network, including but not limited to the following information: target subscription index, and usage scope restrictions such as location of use, time period, etc. The target subscription index may be an identifier of a subscribed network, such as a PLMN ID and an SNPN ID.
The indication information may also be from the UE itself, for example, the indication information may be from indication information triggered by operation of a specific Application program (APP), or the indication information triggered according to a local policy or configuration when the specific APP operates includes, but is not limited to, the following information: target subscription indices such as PLMN ID, SNPN ID, and usage range restrictions such as location of use, time period, etc.
Optionally, in step 7-1, the UE may trigger a de-registration procedure of the current network, for example, PLMN-1, according to the handover indication.
The request message may carry a new Deregistration type, such as registration type: [ subscription switch ], and target subscription information, such as SNPN-3.
It should be noted that, if the indication information is from the network device, the indication information may not carry the target subscription information; and if the indication information comes from the UE, the indication information needs to carry target subscription information.
Optionally, step 7-2, the AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function) sends a message to the SMF (Session Management Function) (or V-SMF).
It should be noted that, if the UE does not establish a PDU Session in the target access network shown in step 7-1, in this case, step 7-6 may be executed after step 7-1 is completed. In addition, for all PDU Sessions established in the target access network, it may be accomplished by sending a message, e.g., Nsmf _ pduse _ releasesmantextrequest, to the corresponding SMF through the AMF.
Optionally, at step 7-3, the SMF will release the user plane resources allocated to the PDU session. The user plane data may be an Internet Protocol Address (IP Address for short), prefix (es) for specifying a program storage path during compiling, and the like.
Step 7-3a, SMF sends N4Session Release Request (N4 Session ID) message to UPF (User Plane Function). Further, the UPF will discard any packets of the reserved PDU session and release all tunnel resources and context information associated with the N4 session.
Step 7-3b, the UPF sends an N4Session Release Response (N4 Session ID) message to the SMF as a Response to the N4Session Release Request.
Optionally, at step 7-4, the SMF responds with an Nsmf _ PDSSESSION _ RELEASESSEMContext Response message.
Alternatively, at step 7-5a, if the process employs dynamic PCC (Policy and Charging Control), the SMF will initiate the SM Policy Association Termination procedure.
Optionally, in step 7-5b-c, if the current PDU Session is the last PDU Session of the UE, the SMF will trigger a numdm _ UECM _ registration service operation, so that the UDM (Unified Data Manager) deletes all associated DNNs (Data Network names) and PDU Session IDs stored in each other.
Alternatively, step 7-6, if there is a PCF (Policy Control Function) associated with the UE and the UE is no longer registered through any other access, the AMF will initiate an AM Policy Association Termination procedure to delete the associated PCF.
Step 7-6a, the UE informs the network to delete the context related to the session and release the related resources.
Alternatively, if there is a PCF associated with the UE and the UE does not have registration information for any access technology, the AMF will initiate a UE Policy Association Termination procedure to delete the associated PCF.
Unlike the related art, the present disclosure adds step 7-6b, where the AMF updates the indication information of the UE to the UDM (including the information of the subscription switching identity, the target access network, etc.), so that the network can notify the UE to switch back again if necessary.
Optionally, in step 7-7, after receiving the deregistration request message sent by the network device, the UE updates the subscription information list. For example, an updated subscription information list as shown in fig. 9 is obtained.
Optionally, in step 7-8, the UE and the network device release the related air interface resources.
Optionally, unlike the related art, the present disclosure adds step 7-9, and the UE performs network re-entry.
Alternatively, the index information with the highest priority may be selected for trial, and the subscription information corresponding to the index information may be selected for network selection.
Fig. 10 is a flowchart illustrating a network access method, an apparatus, a communication device, and a storage medium according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 10, executed by a network device, the network access method includes the following steps:
step 1001, determining that the UE needs to perform subscription switching.
In the present disclosure, the specific manner of determining that the UE needs to perform subscription switching is not limited, and may be set according to actual situations. Optionally, it may be determined whether the subscription switching condition is satisfied according to information such as a current service request and a network policy of the UE, and when it is identified that the subscription switching condition is satisfied, it is determined that the UE needs to perform subscription switching.
Step 1002, sending indication information of subscription switching to the UE, where the indication information is used to indicate the UE to select target subscription information for network access registration based on the indication information.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, after determining that the UE needs to perform subscription switching, the network device may send indication information of subscription switching to the UE. Accordingly, the UE may receive the indication information.
The indication information includes target index information of the target subscription information and/or a state of the target subscription information that the UE needs to use. Optionally, the indication information includes target index information of target subscription information that the UE needs to use; optionally, the indication information includes a state of target subscription information that the UE needs to use; optionally, the indication information includes target index information of the target subscription information that the UE needs to use and a status of the target subscription information.
According to the network access method of the embodiment of the disclosure, the network device may send the indication information of subscription switching to the UE after determining that the UE needs to perform subscription switching, where the indication information is used to indicate the UE to select the target subscription information for network access registration based on the indication information, so as to implement network access registration, so that when the UE has multiple subscriptions simultaneously, a USIM card does not need to be replaced, and specific target subscription information may be selected/switched before network access based on the indication information of subscription switching, so as to obtain a desired service through a corresponding network.
It should be noted that, in this disclosure, if the network device is an AMF network element, a deregistration request message or a configuration signaling sent by the UDM may be received, where the deregistration request message or the configuration signaling carries indication information. Further, the AMF may send an indication of subscription handover to the UE.
As a possible implementation manner, as shown in fig. 11, executed by a network device, the network access method includes the following steps:
step 1101, receiving a service request sent by the UE.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the AMF may send a service request to the network device. Accordingly, the network device may receive a service request.
Step 1102, in response to failing to satisfy the service request of the UE, sending index information of candidate subscription information satisfying the service request to the UDM.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the AMF may send, to the UDM, index information of candidate subscription information that satisfies a service request in response to a service request that cannot satisfy the UE. Accordingly, the UDM may receive the index information.
Step 1103, receiving a deregistration request message sent by the UDM.
In the disclosed embodiment, the UDM may send a deregistration request message to the AMF. Accordingly, the AMF may receive the deregistration request message.
Further, if the network device is the AMF, the de-registration request message sent by the UE may be received in response to the determination that the indication information is the UE; wherein, the deregistration request message carries indication information. Further, the target index information may be sent to the UDM.
Further, in this disclosure, after the indication information is sent to the UE, a subscription information list may be sent to the UE, where the subscription information list includes index information of the subscription information and a state of the subscription information, and the index information is sorted from high to low in the subscription information list according to a priority corresponding to the subscription information.
It should be noted that, as shown in fig. 12, in order to implement network entry registration, the network device may determine to perform subscription switching, and then implement network re-entry through communication between different network elements.
Optionally, different from the related art, in the present disclosure, step 12-0 is added, and the network device may determine to execute the subscription switching according to the information such as the current service request of the UE, the network policy, and the like. For example, if the UE requests a specific service in the current network and the current network cannot satisfy the demand, in this case, Target index information (Target NID) capable of satisfying the demand may be provided. The relevant triggering network element may be PCF, AMF, etc.
Optionally, the UDM sends a de-registration request message to the AMF, step 12-1.
Wherein, the request message carries a new Deregistration type: subscription switch, information of handover target subscription, and handover constraint information, such as time, time period, location, and the like.
Optionally, in step 12-2, the UE receives the deregistration request, and updates the subscription information list according to the deregistration type and information.
Alternatively, the target subscription information priority may be reset to be the highest, and the current subscription status may be changed to be unregistered, for example, obtaining the subscription information list shown in fig. 13 after the priority is adjusted.
Further, in steps 12-3 to 12-7, the UE may notify the network to delete the context related to the session and release the related resources.
Alternatively, step 12-3, if the de-registration procedure is triggered by UDM, AMF may respond to UDM with a numm UECM de-registration notification message. Meanwhile, the AMF may also deregister data through the numm _ SDM _ unscriber.
Optionally, in step 12-4, if the UE establishes the PDU Session in the target access network shown in step 12-2, in this case, the deregistration procedure of steps 12-2 to 12-5 initiated by the UE is executed.
Alternatively, step 12-5, if there is a PCF associated with the UE and the UE is no longer registered through any other access, the AMF will initiate an AM Policy Association Termination procedure to delete the associated PCF.
Alternatively, step 12-5a, if there is a PCF associated with the UE and the UE does not have registration information for any access technology, the AMF will initiate a UE Policy Association Termination procedure to delete the associated PCF.
Optionally, in step 12-6, if the UE receives the registration Request message from the AMF in step 12-2, the NAS (Network Access Server) message may be forwarded to the AMF by (R) AN (shared radio Access Network) after sending the registration Request to the AMF.
Optionally, the cause value is sent by the AMF, step 12-7.
Wherein, if the target access network is 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) or 3GPP and non-3GPP are used simultaneously and there is AN N2 signaling connection to NG-RAN, the AMF will send AN N2UE Release command to (R) AN; if the standard access network is non-3GPP or both 3GPP and non-3GPP are used, and there is a signaling connection to the N3 IWF. The AMF will send N2UE Release command to the N3IWF to Release the signaling connection of N2.
Optionally, unlike the related art, the present disclosure adds step 12-8, and the UE performs network re-entry.
Alternatively, the index information with the highest priority may be selected for trying, and the subscription information corresponding to the index information may be selected for network selection.
In summary, in this disclosure, if a device has multiple pieces of subscription information and only one piece of subscription information is allowed to access a network at the same time, in this case, according to the network access method provided in this disclosure, a de-registration process may be triggered, and then corresponding subscription reselection, network selection and network access may be performed, so that the UE may select/switch specific subscription information before accessing the network, so as to obtain a desired service through a corresponding network.
