In some application scenarios, in order to meet the requirement of cross-language communication of a user, the instant messaging software supports a function of writing and translating, that is, when the user inputs an original message in an input box, a translation area is displayed above the input box, so that the message translation is displayed in the translation area based on the original message input by the user. For example, as shown in fig. 1a, the client automatically starts the function of writing and translating for the user, the input interface of the session includes an input box 101 and a translation area 102, and when the user inputs an original text in the input box 101, the translation area 102 will display a corresponding translation. When the user inputs a message in the input box 101, the use control 103 may be displayed in the translation area, as shown in the upper diagram of fig. 1b, and a shortcut key corresponding to the use control 103 may also be displayed. When the user triggers the use control 103 of the translation area, the translation will be displayed in the input box, as shown in the lower diagram of fig. 1 b. And sending the translation in response to a sending operation triggered by a user.
If the user finds that the message needs to be modified before sending the translated text, all the contents need to be manually modified or deleted in the translated text, and the original text of the message needs to be input again for translation, so that the using operation of the user is influenced. The writing and translation are that when the user inputs the original text in the input box, the translation corresponding to the original text is displayed in the translation area at the same time. And the language corresponding to the translation is set by the user according to the requirement of the user.
Based on the above, the application provides a message processing method, when a user inputs a message original through an input box, a message translation corresponding to the message original is displayed in a translation area. And displaying the message translation in the input box in response to the first preset operation of using the translation. And when the user needs to rollback, displaying the message original text in the input box and displaying the message translated text in the translated text area in response to a second preset operation of undoing the use of the translated text. Namely, when the user has an input error, the user can back through the second preset operation without manual editing or re-input, so that the user experience is improved.
In order to facilitate understanding of the technical solutions provided by the examples of the present application, the following description will be made with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 2, the message processing method provided by the embodiment of the present application may be executed by a message processing client, and the message processing client may be installed in an electronic device. The electronic device may include a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a desktop computer, a vehicle-mounted terminal, a wearable electronic device, an all-in-one machine, an intelligent home device, and other devices having a communication function, and may also be a virtual machine or a simulator-simulated device. As shown in fig. 2, the method may include the steps of:
s201: and responding to the input of the message original text in the input box, and displaying the message translation corresponding to the message original text in the translation area.
In this embodiment, when the user enables the write-while-translate function and inputs the original message in the input box, the message translation corresponding to the original message is displayed in the translation area. The translation area may be located above and next to the input box, so as to facilitate browsing by the user, as shown in fig. 1 a.
In one embodiment of the disclosure, when the message translation corresponding to the original message is displayed in the translation area, a first control may be further displayed in the input interface. The first control is used for triggering the use of the message translation, the input interface can comprise a translation area and an input box area, and the position displayed by the first control can be the translation area and the input box area or other positions except the translation area and the input box area in the input interface. For example, the first control is the use control 103 shown in fig. 1b and located in the translation area, so that the user can intuitively know the function of the first control.
Specifically, when the write-while-translate function is activated, a translation area may be displayed above the input box, as shown in the schematic diagram of fig. 1 a. Or when the user starts the writing-while-translating function and the user does not input a message in the input box, a translation area can be displayed above the input box and a third control can be displayed in the translation area and used for closing the translation area. The translation region is shown schematically in FIG. 3a, and the third control 104 is shown in the translation region. After the user enters the message text in the input box, the translation area may display the message translation and the first control 103 without displaying the third control, such as the diagram shown in fig. 1 b.
The function of writing and translating while starting can be started manually by a user or automatically by a client. For example, when the main languages of both parties of the conversation are not consistent and the main language of the current user is not english, the input translation is automatically started for the current user when entering the conversation. Wherein the write-along translation function may support different types of messages for translation, such as text, rich text, and messages comprising the @ identifier, etc.
S202: and displaying the message translation in the input box in response to a first preset operation of using the translation.
In this embodiment, after the user triggers the first preset operation of using the translation, indicating that the message translation in the translation area is used, the message translation is displayed in the input box, thereby implementing the use of the message translation. The first preset operation may be a triggering operation on the first control, or a triggering operation on a shortcut key for using translation, or an operation of calling up a menu option by a right key and clicking the menu option to use the translation option.
In one embodiment of the disclosure, a second control may also be displayed at the input interface while the message translation is displayed at the input box. The second control is used for cancelling the use of the message translation, and the display position of the second control can be a translation area, an input box area or other positions except the translation area and the input box area in the input interface. For example, in the scenario application shown in fig. 3b, when the user triggers the use control 103, the message translation appears in the input box, the undo control 105 is displayed in the translation area, and the use control 103 is no longer displayed.
S203: and displaying the message original text in the input box and displaying the message translated text in the translated text area in response to the second preset operation of canceling the use of the translated text.
When the user wants to cancel the current use, a second preset operation of canceling the use of the translation can be triggered. And controlling the message original text to reappear in the input box and the message translated text to reappear in the translation area in response to receiving a second preset operation triggered by the user. Namely, the use of the message translation can be cancelled through the second preset operation, so that the user can conveniently and quickly return to the previous step, the user can conveniently re-edit the message original text, and the user use experience is improved. For example, in the scenario application shown in fig. 3c, when the user triggers the cancel control 105, the message translation appears in the translation area, the message original appears in the input box, and the cancel control 105 is not displayed after the use control 103 is displayed in the translation area.
When the first control is displayed on the input interface, a shortcut key corresponding to the first control can be displayed, so that a user can trigger the use of the translated text through the shortcut key. It should be noted that, when the second control or the third control is displayed on the input interface, the corresponding shortcut key may also be displayed, which is not limited herein.
And when the input interface displays the second control, cancelling the second preset operation of using the translation as the trigger operation of the second space. Or, the second preset operation may be a triggering operation for cancelling the use of the translation shortcut key, or an operation for calling up the menu option and clicking the menu option to cancel the use of the translation option.
In an embodiment of the disclosure, after the translation is cancelled, when the message original text is displayed in the input box and the message translation is displayed in the translation area, the first control can be further displayed again in the input interface, so that the user can conveniently operate by triggering the first control to reuse the translation.
In an embodiment of the disclosure, a display duration of the second control may also be set, within the display duration, the user may go back to the previous step through the second control, and when the display duration is exceeded, the third control is displayed on the input interface, and the second control is no longer displayed. Specifically, if the message translation is displayed on the input box, the second control is displayed on the input interface, and no input is made within the preset time, the third control is displayed on the input interface, and the second control is not displayed. For example, the display duration is 30 seconds, when the message translation appears in the input box and the user has no input in the input box for more than 30 seconds, the second control is stopped from being displayed, and the third control is displayed. The position displayed by the third control element can be a translation area and an input frame area, and can also be other positions in the input interface except for the translation area and the input frame area. For example, as shown in fig. 3d, when the display duration of the undo control 105 is equal to the preset duration and the input box has no input operation, the translation area is changed from the undo control 105 to the close control 104 (third control).
In one embodiment of the disclosure, if the input box displays the message translation and the second control is displayed in the input interface, the message translation is sent in response to the trigger, the third control is displayed in the input interface and the second control is not displayed. That is, after the user triggers sending of the used message translation, the control displayed on the input interface is changed from the second control to the third control, and the third control is used for closing the translation area.
