step S51: detecting an actual amount of ink within the ink cartridge by the level sensor;
step S52: judging whether the actual ink quantity is lower than the lower ink limit value of the ink box or higher than the upper ink limit value of the ink box;
step S53: if the actual ink quantity is lower than the lower ink limit value of the ink box, calculating the ink supply quantity required to be increased by the ink supply pump according to the ink adding times and the ink adding quantity from the actual ink quantity to the lower ink limit value;
step S54: and if the actual ink amount is higher than the upper ink limit value of the ink box, calculating the ink supply amount required to be reduced by the ink supply pump according to the ink adding times and the ink adding amount from the actual ink amount to the upper ink limit value of the ink box.
Further, because the nozzles of the digital nozzle cannot be completely consistent due to processing, a small difference exists, so that the amount of ink ejected by each nozzle is slightly different from a theoretical condition, and further, the difference exists between the amount of ink actually ejected by each nozzle and the theoretically predicted amount of ink consumed calculated by the print control module, and an error accumulation is caused along with the increase of the ink ejection times, so that the situation that the amount of ink in the ink cartridge is too much or too little is caused.
In some embodiments, with continuing reference to fig. 5, when the actual amount of ink is below the lower ink limit value of the ink cartridge or the actual amount of ink is above the upper ink limit value of the ink cartridge, the method further comprises:
step S55: and outputting the warning information.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the actual ink quantity is lower than the lower ink limit value of the ink box or the actual ink quantity is higher than the upper ink limit value of the ink box, warning information can be output, so that a user can know the ink condition in the ink box, and further, the printing task can be adjusted.
