Detailed Description
With the popularization of smart devices (such as smart phones and tablet computers), the connection between the life of people and the smart devices is closer and closer. For example, taking a smart phone as an example, people can browse the graphics and text information (such as text information and mixed graphics and text information) through a browser application program or an information application program, a news application program, and the like on the smart phone.
At present, when a user browses that text contents in some image-text information are foreign languages in a current application program on a smart phone, the user needs to translate the text contents in the image-text information in the current application program through a translation application program. At this time, the user generally needs to manually open the translation application and then perform a corresponding operation in the translation application.
For example, when a user browses news through a browser application, if text content in the news is english, the user needs to copy the text content in the news and then manually open a translation application to translate the copied text content. Or, the user needs to capture a screen of the display interface of the browser application to obtain a captured image, and then manually opens the translation application to translate the text content in the captured image.

The methods in the following embodiments may be implemented in an electronic device having the above hardware structure.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, in the process that a user browses the teletext information in the current application program (i.e., the first application program), if text content in the teletext information includes foreign language, the user may trigger the application starting method by performing a screen capture mode on a display interface of the current application program. Therefore, in response to the screenshot operation of the user, the electronic equipment can start a translation application program according to the screenshot image of the user so as to translate the text content in the screenshot image. The screen capture image is a display interface of the current application program, so that the screen capture image comprises the image-text information browsed by the user currently, and the text content in the screen capture image is the text content in the image-text information browsed by the user.
For example, the electronic device is a mobile phone, the current application (i.e., the first application) is a browser application, the text information browsed by the user is text-text mixed information, and the text content is english. When the application program starting method provided by the embodiment of the application program is adopted, when a user browses the image-text information in the browser application program, if the user captures the screen of the display interface of the browser application program to obtain the screen capture image, the mobile phone can start the translation application program according to the screen capture image to translate the text content in the screen capture image, and perform multi-window display on the translation application program and the browser application program (for example, split screen display is performed on the translation application program and the browser application program or the translation application program is suspended and displayed on the display interface of the browser application program).
For example, as shown in fig. 2a, the mobile phone currently displays an interface of a browser application, which includes the graphic information that the user is browsing. The image-text information is image-text mixed information, and the text content is English. As shown in fig. 2b, when the user performs a screen capture on the display interface of the current application, i.e. the browser application, to obtain a screen capture image, the mobile phone displays a preview of the screen capture image, and displays a launch icon 201 (or called a control) in the interface for instructing the user to launch the translation application. When a user clicks the launch icon 201 (for example, a touch operation, or a click operation performed by an external device such as a stylus or a mouse), as shown in fig. 2c, the mobile phone displays the translation application and the browser application in a multi-window display manner (in fig. 2c, the multi-window display is taken as a split-screen display for example). In some possible embodiments, the mobile phone may also automatically enter a translation page for translating text content in a screenshot image obtained by the user after the translation application is started. Of course, after the translation application is started, the user manually operates in the translation application to translate the text content in the screenshot image obtained by the screenshot.
It should be noted that, after the user captures a screen of a display interface of a current application program, such as the browser application program in the above example, the mobile phone displays a start icon (or referred to as a control) for instructing the user to start the translation application program, so that the user can conveniently start the translation application program by clicking the start icon when determining that the translation application program needs to be started. Therefore, the problem that the normal use of the current application program by the user is interfered by the mobile phone due to the fact that the translation application program is automatically started when the user does not need to start the translation application program is avoided. Of course, in other possible embodiments of the present application, after the user performs screen capture on the display interface of the current application program, such as the browser application program as described in the above example, the mobile phone may also directly start the translation application program without displaying a start icon (or referred to as a control) for instructing the user to start the translation application program, and perform multi-window display on the translation application program and the current application program, which is not limited herein.
Fig. 2a to fig. 2c are only exemplary illustrations of the first application (i.e. the current application) as a browser application, and text content in the teletext information is english. In the embodiment of the present application, the first application may also be a news application, an information application, or other applications capable of displaying text information. Moreover, the text content in the image-text information can also be other foreign languages, which are not listed one by one here.
Illustratively, based on the above example, as shown in fig. 3, the system architecture of the electronic device may include an image user interface layer, an application layer, and a framework layer. The graphical user interface layer may be used to deploy a displayable user interface, such as a User Interface (UI) icon (or UI control). The application layer may be used to deploy one or more applications capable of running on the electronic device, for example, in the embodiment of the present application, a first application, a translation application, a system UI, an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) application, a text recognition application, an intelligent assistant application, and the like may be deployed in the application layer. The first application may be a browser application, a news application, an information application, or the like, which can display the teletext information in the above example. The framework layer may be configured to deploy a system function module, for example, in this embodiment, a screen capture module, a multi-window active module, a multi-window split-screen pair management module, a multi-window startup management module, and the like may be deployed in the framework layer.
Based on the system architecture shown in fig. 3, fig. 4 is a schematic flowchart illustrating an application starting method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 4, the method may include the following S401-S408.
When the user browses the image-text information in the first application program, if the user performs a screen capture operation on the display interface of the first application program, the electronic device may perform the following S401 in response to the screen capture operation of the user.
S401, responding to the screen capturing operation of the user, and indicating the screen capturing module to capture the screen to obtain the screen capturing image by the system UI.
For example, the system UI may instruct the screen capture module to capture a screen to obtain a screen capture image by sending a screen capture instruction to the screen capture module.
The screenshot image is a display interface of a current application program (i.e., a first application program), so that the screenshot image includes the image-text information currently browsed by the user, and the text content in the screenshot image is the text content in the image-text information browsed by the user.
Accordingly, the screen capture module can capture a screen of the display interface of the first application program according to the indication of the system UI to obtain a screen capture image.
S402, the OCR recognition application monitors the screen capture of the user stored in the screen capture module to obtain a screen capture image.
Accordingly, the screen capture module may send (report) the screen capture image obtained by the user screen capture to the OCR recognition application.
The OCR recognition application can periodically monitor the content in the screen capturing module, so that when the screen capturing module captures the screen capturing image obtained by the newly added user, the OCR recognition application can timely obtain the screen capturing image obtained by the newly added user for analysis.
Optionally, in some possible embodiments, the OCR recognition application may not listen to the content in the screen capture module, but the screen capture module actively sends (reports) the screen capture image obtained by the user screen capture to the OCR recognition application when a screen capture action is performed to obtain a new screen capture image.
When the OCR recognition application receives the screen shot image transmitted by the screen shot module, the OCR recognition application may perform the following S403.
And S403, converting the text content in the screen capture image into text by the OCR recognition application.
Accordingly, the OCR recognition application may send (report) the converted text to the word recognition application.
The OCR application may convert the text content in the screenshot image into a text by using an OCR function, and certainly, may also convert the text content in the screenshot image into a text by using other manners, which is not limited herein.
S404, the character recognition application determines that the converted text (namely the text content in the screen shot image) comprises foreign language.
For example, the word recognition application may determine that the converted text includes foreign language when the number of foreign language words is greater than or equal to a preset number by counting the number of foreign language words in the converted text.
S405, the character recognition application instructs the intelligent assistant application to pop up a starting icon of the translation application program (namely, a starting icon used for instructing a user to start the translation application program).
For example, the text recognition application may instruct the intelligent assistant application to pop up the launch icon of the translation application by sending instructions to the intelligent assistant application to instruct the launch icon of the translation application.
Accordingly, the intelligent assistant application can pop up the launch icon of the translation application according to the indication.
When the user clicks on the pop-up icon of the intelligent assistant app, the intelligent assistant app may perform the following S406.
S406, responding to the clicking operation of the user on the starting icon, and instructing the multi-window starting management module to start the translation application program by the intelligent assistant application.
The intelligent assistant application can instruct the multi-window starting management module to start the translation application program by sending an instruction for instructing to start the translation application program to the multi-window starting management module.
Accordingly, the multi-window launch management module can launch the translation application as directed.
Alternatively, in some possible embodiments, if the electronic device does not display the launch icon but directly launches the translation class application, S405 and S406 may not be executed, but the multi-window launch management module is directly instructed by the word recognition application to launch the translation class application.
The following S407 may be performed after the multi-window start management module starts the translation application.
S407, the multi-window starting management module instructs the multi-window dynamic effect module to play the multi-window display dynamic effect.
The multi-window starting management module can instruct the multi-window dynamic effect module to play the multi-window display dynamic effect by sending an instruction for instructing to play the multi-window display dynamic effect to the multi-window dynamic effect module.
Accordingly, the multi-window launch management module can play the multi-window display animation according to the indication.
S408, the multi-window dynamic effect module indicates the multi-window split screen to display the multi-window to the management module.
The multi-window dynamic effect module can indicate the multi-window split screen to display the multi-window to the management module by sending an instruction for indicating to display the multi-window to the multi-window split screen to the management module.
Accordingly, the multi-window split screen pair management module can adjust the window positions of the first application program and the translation application program according to the indication to perform multi-window display.
It should be noted that the multi-window display may be a split-screen display, or a floating display of the translation application, so in S407 and S408, when the multi-window display is a split-screen display, the multi-window display effect played by the multi-window active effect module is a split-screen active effect, and accordingly the multi-window split-screen pair management module may adjust the windows of the first application and the translation application to be respectively located on the upper and lower sides or the left and right sides of the screen to implement the split-screen. When the multi-window display is the suspension display of the translation application program, the multi-window display dynamic effect played by the multi-window dynamic effect module can be the suspension dynamic effect of the translation application program, and correspondingly, the multi-window split screen pair management module can adjust the window of the translation application program to be positioned above the window of the first application program to perform the suspension display.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, in a process that a user browses the image-text information in a current application program (i.e., a first application program), if text content in the image-text information includes a foreign language, the current application program may report a language type of a current display page (or called an interface) (i.e., the language type of the current interface of the first application program is acquired by the electronic device), so that when the language type of the current display page is the foreign language, the electronic device may start a translation application program according to the language type to translate the text content in the image-text information displayed by the first application program.
For example, the electronic device is a mobile phone, the current application (i.e., the first application) is a browser application, the text information browsed by the user is text-text mixed information, and the text content is english. When the application program starting method provided by the embodiment of the application program is adopted, when a user browses the image-text information in the browser application program, the browser application program can report the language type of the currently displayed page (usually, the language type of the text content in the page is consistent with the language type of the page, that is, the language type in the example is english), so that the mobile phone can start the translation application program according to the language type of the english to translate the text content in the image-text information in the first application program, and perform multi-window display on the translation application program and the browser application program (for example, split-screen display of the translation application program and the browser application program or suspension display of the translation application program on the display interface of the browser application program).
For example, as shown in fig. 5a, the mobile phone currently displays an interface of a browser application, which includes the graphic information that the user is browsing. The image-text information is image-text mixed information, and the text content is English (namely the language type of the page where the image-text information is located is English). At this time, the browser application may report the language type of the displayed page, in this example, the language type is in english and text, so that the mobile phone may display a start icon 501 (or called a control) for instructing the user to start the translation application. When the user clicks the launch icon 501 (for example, a touch operation, or a click operation performed by an external device such as a stylus or a mouse), as shown in fig. 5b, the mobile phone displays the translation application and the browser application in a multi-window display manner (the multi-window display is exemplified as a split-screen display in fig. 5 b). In some possible embodiments, the mobile phone may further automatically enter a translation page for translating text content in the teletext information in the first application program after the translation application program is started. Of course, after the translation application is started, the user manually operates in the translation application to translate the text content in the teletext information in the first application.
It should be noted that, when the mobile phone determines that the language type of the page reported by the current application program, such as the browser application program in the above example, is a foreign language, the mobile phone displays a start icon (or referred to as a control) for instructing the user to start the translation application program, so that the user can conveniently start the translation application program by clicking the start icon when determining that the translation application program needs to be started. Therefore, the problem that the normal use of the current application program by the user is interfered when the translation application program is automatically started by the mobile phone when the user does not need to start the translation application program is avoided. Of course, in other possible embodiments of the present application, when the mobile phone determines that the language type of the page reported by the current application program, such as the browser application program in the above example, is a foreign language, the mobile phone may also directly start the translation application program without displaying a start icon (or referred to as a control) for instructing the user to start the translation application program, and perform multi-window display on the translation application program and the current application program, which is not limited herein.
Fig. 5 a-5 b are only exemplary illustrations of the first application (i.e. the current application) as the browser application, and the text content in the teletext information is english. In this embodiment, the first application may also be a news application, an information application, or other applications capable of displaying teletext information. Moreover, the text content in the teletext information may also be other foreign languages, which are not listed here.
Illustratively, based on the above example, as shown in fig. 6, the system architecture of the electronic device may include an image user interface layer, an application layer, and a framework layer. The graphical user interface layer may be used to deploy a displayable user interface, such as a User Interface (UI) icon (or UI control). The application layer may be used to deploy one or more applications capable of running on the electronic device, for example, in the embodiment of the present application, a first application, a translation application, a language analysis application, a computing engine application, an intelligent assistant application, and the like may be deployed in the application layer. The first application may be a browser application, a news application, an information application, or the like in the above examples, which can display the teletext information. The framework layer may be configured to deploy a system function module, for example, in this embodiment, a multi-window active module, a multi-window split-screen pair management module, a multi-window start management module, and the like may be deployed in the framework layer.
Based on the system architecture shown in fig. 6, fig. 7 is a schematic flowchart illustrating another application starting method provided in this embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 7, the method may include the following S701-S706.
In the process of browsing the teletext information in the first application by the user, the electronic device may perform the following S701.
S701, the first application program sends (reports) the language type of the current page (or called interface) to the language analysis application.
The first application program may determine the language type of the current page according to the language type declared in the language attribute (e.g., lang attribute) in the source code information of the current page (or called interface).
S702, the language analysis application determines that the language of the current page is foreign language according to the language type of the current page.
Accordingly, the language analysis application may instruct the intelligent assistant application to pop up a launch icon of the translation application (i.e., a launch icon for instructing the user to launch the translation application).
For example, the language analysis application may instruct the intelligent assistant application to launch an icon for a pop-up translation application by sending instructions to the intelligent assistant application to instruct the launch icon for the pop-up translation application.
S703, the intelligent assistant application pops up a starting icon of the translation application program.
When the user clicks on the pop-up icon of the intelligent assistant app, the intelligent assistant app may perform the following S704.
S704, responding to the clicking operation of the user on the starting icon, and instructing the multi-window starting management module to start the translation application program by the intelligent assistant application.
The intelligent assistant application can instruct the multi-window starting management module to start the translation application program by sending an instruction for instructing to start the translation application program to the multi-window starting management module.
Accordingly, the multi-window launch management module can launch the translation application as directed.
Optionally, in response to a user clicking a launch icon, the intelligent assistant application may further obtain a text in a current page from the first application program, and then, when the multi-window launch management module launches the translation application program according to an instruction of the intelligent assistant, the intelligent assistant application sends the obtained text to the translation application program, so that the translation application program may directly enter a translation page related to the text according to the received text.
Alternatively, in some possible embodiments, if the electronic device does not display the launch icon but directly launches the translation-class application, S703 and S470 may not be executed, but the multi-window launch management module is directly instructed by the language analysis application to launch the translation-class application.
The following S705 may be performed after the multi-window startup management module starts the translation application.
S705, the multi-window starting management module instructs the multi-window dynamic effect module to play the multi-window display dynamic effect.
The multi-window starting management module can instruct the multi-window dynamic effect module to play the multi-window display dynamic effect in a mode of sending an instruction for instructing to play the multi-window display dynamic effect to the multi-window dynamic effect module.
Accordingly, the multi-window launch management module can play the multi-window display animation according to the indication.
S706, the multi-window dynamic effect module indicates the multi-window split screen to display the multi-window to the management module.
It should be noted that the multi-window display may be a split-screen display, or a floating display of the translation application, so in S705 and S706, when the multi-window display is a split-screen display, the multi-window display effect played by the multi-window active effect module is a split-screen active effect, and accordingly the multi-window split-screen pair management module may adjust the windows of the first application and the translation application to be respectively located on the upper and lower sides or the left and right sides of the screen to implement the split-screen. When the multi-window display is the suspension display of the translation application program, the multi-window display dynamic effect played by the multi-window dynamic effect module can be the suspension dynamic effect of the translation application program, and correspondingly, the multi-window split screen pair management module can adjust the window of the translation application program to be positioned above the window of the first application program for suspension display.
By adopting the method in the above embodiment, when a user browses the image-text information in the current application program (i.e. the first application program), if the text content in the image-text information includes foreign language, the electronic device may start the translation application program to translate the text content in the image-text information, and display the translation application program and the first application program in a multi-window display manner. Therefore, the user can conveniently and quickly use the translation application program to translate the text content in the image-text information, and the user can conveniently compare and check the text content in the image-text information in the first application program and the translation application program which are displayed in multiple windows. Therefore, the operation convenience of the user when the user needs to translate the text content during browsing the image-text information can be improved, and the user experience is improved.
