receiving entry information of the virtual pet for competition sent by the first user;
generating the characteristic information of the virtual pet for the first user according to the entry information of the virtual pet for the competition sent by the first user.

The method as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein after generating the scoring result of the on-line beauty selection of the virtual pet for the first user according to the characteristic information and the indication information of the virtual pet for the first user, the method further comprises:
and displaying the scoring result of the on-line beauty selection of the virtual pet for the first user to participate in the competition through a first display interface.
