In one example, before acquiring the mobile country code MCC corresponding to the area and the MCC list of the neighboring country, the terminal device starts a network period timer (HPLMN SEARCH TIMER), and after the timer times out, the network area where the current terminal device is located may be determined according to the relationship between the network signal of the current roaming network and the preset signal threshold. Specifically, detecting a network signal of a current roaming network, and determining that a network area is an area of a hybrid network under the condition that the network signal is smaller than a preset signal threshold. The preset signal threshold is determined empirically, and can be-100 db or-105 db.

Specifically, since the terminal device is limited by the 3GPP protocol in the area of the hybrid network, only the roaming network can be searched, if the local network needs to be searched, the terminal device needs to move outside the area of the hybrid network, and when the MCC list in the adjacent country contains the MCC equal to the MCC in the area, the terminal device can search the local network in the hybrid area to perform network residence in the local network, i.e. quickly return to the local network.
Further, after the local network is searched, when the terminal device camps on the long term evolution (Long Term Evolution, LTE), network information of the local network needs to be acquired first due to the requirement of long connection of LTE, and then the terminal device camps on the network according to the network information of the local network. Wherein the network information includes, but is not limited to, access point (Access Point Name, APN) information, which can be obtained from a terminal device data service (DATA SERVICE) module.
In one example, after searching for a home network of a region of a hybrid network, a roaming network of the region of the hybrid network is searched for and a network residence is performed in the roaming network without searching for the home network, so as to achieve the purpose of power saving.
Further, since the terminal device is in the hybrid network area, during the network residence of the terminal device, the network information reported by the roaming network is also received, so that misjudgment of the terminal device is caused, and further, the network information reported by the roaming network is ignored under the condition that the network residence fails. By neglecting the network information reported by the roaming network, the network information of the roaming network is prevented from influencing the network residence operation.

The acquiring module is further configured to acquire an MCC corresponding to the area and an MCC list of a neighboring country when detecting that the current network area is an area of the hybrid network; wherein the hybrid network comprises a roaming network and a home network, and the MCC list is used for storing MCCs of a plurality of adjacent countries;
The judging module is used for judging whether the MCC list contains MCCs equal to the MCC of the area;
The executing module is configured to search the local network of the area when the MCC list contains an MCC equal to the MCC of the area, and perform network residence on the local network, and ignore the network information reported by the roaming network when the network information reported by the roaming network is received after the local network performs network residence;
the execution module is further configured to search the roaming network in the current area and perform network residence on the searched roaming network when the network signal is greater than or equal to a preset signal threshold.
6. An electronic device, comprising:

A memory communicatively coupled to the at least one processor; wherein,
The memory stores instructions executable by the at least one processor to enable the at least one processor to perform the network hosting method of any one of claims 1 to 3.
7. A computer readable storage medium storing a computer program, wherein the computer program when executed by a processor implements the network hosting method according to any one of claims 1 to 3.
